I purchased a fridge, stove, dishwasher GE combo in Aug 2020. Due to Covid the pieces took much longer to arrive than expected, a total of 6 months from the first day of purchase to final set up. During this entire time the team at Appliance World has been nothing short of spectacular. They are honest, straight forward and go the extra distance to help normal people like me and my family. Go to Appliance World and support this wonderful business. This level of care for customers is very rare these days.
I have given Appliance World two chances and both led to the same exact experience. They are knowledgeable and effective when it comes to the sale of the appliances. Once the sale is done, the remainder of the experience is absolutely horrendous. This applies to both Huntington and Oyster Bay.I would advise anyone looking for accountability and quality service to look elsewhere. This company has a great sales team, but I honestly think a pack of barnyard animals could handle the rest of the process with more professionalism than these jokers.What company schedules large appliance deliveries at 11:00 AM the day of delivery? Seriously it’s an absolute joke…
Needed a new dishwasher, and after checking the big brand stores, we found this place online. Drive out to check the place out and was thoroughly impressed inside and out. Was greeted immediately by a very friendly and helpful girl and was offered a water while she went to get the appropriate salesman. The salesman she brought over to us was very polite, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Listened to our needs and helped us choose the right machine. Extremely satisfied with everything and cent wait to have our new machine delivered and installed. Would definitely be returning for future needs
We had an extended warranty (from GE) and were told that the freezer door handle (which came off) was not covered. Amanda & Nicole were very helpful and we received the parts that we needed to fix this at no charge. We have been very happy with all of our Appliance World purchases.

I purchased a natural gas Weber grill recently from Appliance World. The rep was very knowledgeable, the price was spot on, and the transaction was easy as pie.We were redoing our deck and delayed the delivery by about a month. No problem! Two days after I called for delivery, the grill came fully assembled and ready to fire up.All in all, a great experiene!
I ordered appliances December 2029 for a flip house I was working on. I got a call in March saying my appliances were ready for delivery. I asked if I needed to take delivery or could they be put on hold? The answer was they could hold them.When asked about delivery time frame I said early summer.In June I was contacted by Appliance world via email. They were looking to set up delivery, however, the email said some of my appliances were on back order!I spoke to 2 different people and they were rude and extremely unhelpful. No one could tell me why appliances they were holding were gone.I finally got the owner’s son on the phone. He explained that because I did not take delivery, the warehouse put the appliances back in stock.Apparently this was not Appliance Worlds Warehouse. It was the manufacturer’s.The owner apologized for the misunderstanding and said he would get back to me. Still waiting for that call. It’s been 2 weeks and I’ve since purchased the appliances from Lowe’s and Home DepotI will never shop in this store again.
We recently purchased our appliances through Appliance World and were very happy we did. The appliances are beautiful, the price was right and the customer service and sales department were great. Our sales rep JP was nice to deal with and Claire from customer service was very pleasant and customer orientated. My gas dryer burned out and I needed a new washer/dryer ASAP. Katie at Appliance World was quick to help me out and got me a beautiful washer/dryer which was hard to find during Covid. It was delivered and installed in a few days and when I realized that the door openings needed to be switched, they came again in a few days and made it all work. I am very happy with their service!
We were treated very well from the minute we got there. The sales person was very knowledgeable and we soon found exactly what we wanted. We told them our time frame and they were able to work things out for us to have it delivered when I was home. When my wife and I got home we realized we forgot to ask about rebates. So I sent an email to the salesman. Within about an hour I received all the info about rebates and they even filed them for us. Not that I want to redo my kitchen anytime soon after this last one but I know where to go for my appliances if I do. I let all my friends know how smooth it all went.
We bought a counter depth Bosch refrigerator from this organization. All aspects, from first entering the store, through delivery and installation, were handled professionally and with obvious expertise. We returned to the store on several occasions to further shop our choice of appliance. All of our inquiries were entertained with patience, honesty, and a genuine concern for our present and likely future needs. Ask for Christian Calderaro, hell steer you right.The unit we bought was on back order. However, it came back into stock a bit faster than it was promised. Once back in stock, delivery and installation were set up and then handled quickly and efficiently.The delivery crew was careful and respectful of the new appliance, our property, and of our floors. They were careful from truck to kitchen and everywhere in between. Our old appliance was removed and taken away without incident. All packaging trash, from the new refrigerator, was removed and tossed out.All things considered, we would definitely buy from them again.
Nick our sales man was great, more importantly he was honest. He was truthful about the expected wait time for our dishwasher during Covid. We checked other places and they gave us a false expectancy about how long it would take to get the dishwasher, but here they were honest and on top of it. Will definitely shop here again.
I went to Appliance World to purchase outdoor kitchen appliances. The service was excellent! The staff was very friendly and courteous. My salesman, Stu, was awesome, making great recommendations to suit my needs! I would 100% go there for any future appliance purchases.
Our sales representative was great and appliance world has a lot of variety. Stock availability was a bit challenging with COVID. We waited over 7 months for our microwave and had to switch dishwashers or suffer an indeterminate amount of time for its arrival as well. Delivery service OK, but the scheduling and installation team needs some fine tuning. I was almost charged my entire balance when I was still waiting for my dishwasher and the install team came on a day when the appliances had not been delivered. Also received the wrong refrigerator at first, so had to deal with that inconvenience. The appliance world experience in its totality was mediocre.

We cannot say enough good things about Appliance World. Start to finish. Every employee that we interacted with was a pleasure. Delivery of the appliances was seem less. We had looked at the same appliances at other stores, DO NOT waste your time. It is worth the drive. We are doing an extension to our current home and we’re looking for appliances for the whole kitchen. They were able to help us find the best deal for our needs. The salesperson was down to earth and honest. Delivery was set up, they removed the garbage; saving us room in already full dumpsters! Took all of the stress out of this part of the project!
Appliance World was GREAT to deal with ! The store in Huntington is super neat and clean with a very helpful staff. I bought a Samsung washer which they were able to deliver at an earlier date than planned. Deliverymen came in the requested time shot and were efficient. Im sure this company is well known, but my experience was horrible. I came in to buy a full new kitchen. Instead of being sold to, I basically had to push the sales person to give me info. Wed selected a whole set from a specific brand, and right before we were going to check-out, I happened to glance at a Miele appliance and asked about it. And he said, oh yea, you could go with that line, theyre really good and have a special promotion right now.Seriously??!! You didnt want to say that an hour ago? What have we been doing in this store this whole time.Flash forward 5 months to delivery time, and I will not even go into detail about what a nightmare it was to deal with the internal team to pay the balance due and get the items delivered. Terrible customer service and bad attitude, and ultimately we had to speak to the owner. The funny thing was, we even had the wrong stove delivered after all that.So did I just get unlucky with a usually good company? maybe...Are these stressful times? Yes for sure and I understand that. But my goodness every step of the way was painful with this company, and no one ever apologized for the rudeness we received.

I walked into the store to buy a stove and was the only person there. One person was playing on her phone and the other was playing on the computer. I asked for help and neither responded. I was about to leave the store when a man near the door asked if I needed help. I ended up buying but some serious work is needed at this place relating to customer service!

It is rare that a business combines so many of the traits you look for and hope to find in a supply company. I was fortunate that Appliance World was one of those rare companies. I am a General Contractor and I do the bulk of the purchasing for the company I work for, Anderson Contracting. My knowledge of the current kitchen appliances available in the market today is far more limited than the building materials I purchase on a daily basis. I sat down with Katie Berbinich and told her the type of appliances I needed and the budget that I had to work with. She patiently listened, writing notes as I talked, made sure of the sizes, the color and the availability of all the appliances and went over the best options for me. Within what seemed like a few minutes she printed out an accurate list that was within a couple of percent of my budget.Once the order was in Madeleine Jimenez kept me abreast of the approximate time the units would be available for delivery. When the appliances came in and I explained I could not accept delivery yet she said she could hold them until her warehouse needed the space. This went on for a little while but Madeleine was always very patient and friendly.Finally Clair Price helped me with the rebates that were available. I was having a hard time finding the time to fill the forms out and she was so nice to assist me and take care of more than she really needed too.Thank you all. If youre looking for new home appliances, look no further! The folks at Appliance World will take care of you as though youre family. Each person weve encountered there are all knowledgeable on all of the products they sell. The appliances are all working samples, and they even have food for you (every day at 1pm)! They take great care of their employees, so that their employees can take great care of you.We were referred to Appliance World by Lakeville Kitchen and Bath, and Simeon was our sales guy. He showed us a number of different models of ranges and explained why the Thermador Pro Harmony was the best choice for us. It also came with a free Bosch/Thermador dishwasher. We also purchased our Frigidaire refrigerator and industrial hood from them too.As part of their quality service, they offer cooking classes on how to properly use and maintain your new appliances. Let me just tell you, its the most wonderful thing! We recently attended the class on convection with Leora and Max. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious! It was definitely worth every penny. Our next class will be on the gas range with Thermador instructors. I cant wait!

Delightful local appliance store who went above and beyond for us during the pandemic to get us our Samsung smart fridge. Christian, our rep, was in contact with us throughout as there was a delay from the manufacturer. Once it was delivered, Christian worked with me to extending the warranty through Appliance World and was very honest and helpful. Mind you, the fridge we bought was not in the store and we saw it elsewhere and they matched the price we saw. They have a customer for life because they are solid and we like supporting small local businesses.
Althought the team of men sent to our home seemed competent and were as nice as they could be, the installation was not so nice. I had four appliances to be installed and two of the four appliances were not installed at all or not properly installed.The team said they coud NOT install the double ovens because the cabinets were not cut properly; the cabinet company came the next day and installed them. The team said they couldnt install my Sub Zero properly for so, any reasons; the cabinet company installed the Sub Zero.Of the other two that were installed, one, the stove hood, was scratched during installation.For a company the size of Alliance World, I find that unacceptable. I had to pay twice to have that sub zero installed because Applicance World could not do the job. This is grossly unfair to me as the customer.I would not recommend Applicance World installers.

On the recommendation of our general contractor we visited Appliance World, and were immediately seen by Brendan B. After providing him with the make and models of the kitchen appliances we wanted he set to work and quickly had a very good price list for us. We worked out general delivery details and were fortunate that AW had a working relationship with our contractor and would interface with them on actual delivery.Due to Covid issues there were some delays in factory output but we were far enough ahead in ordering that it wasn’t a job stopper. The team at AW were always polite and efficient when we called for the occasional status check.Deliveries were on spot and greatly appreciated by our contractor and us!!From start to finish AW was a pleasure to work with and a definite value for the money!!
The salesman, JP Kozak, was very knowledgable and helpful. Unfortunately due to conditions out of his and Appliance Worlds control the stove and refrigerator we ordered is still backordered.
My friend had a horrible experience. After buying over $20k worth of appliances, they delivered items with missing parts and would not correct their error. It ended up costing her thousands to rectify their mistakes. They dont stand behind their promises!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered $10K in appliances in mid-October 2020 at the Huntington location. Fairly nice when ordering in the showroom and told to anticipate an 8 week lead time on all appliances (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher and vent hood insert) due to COVID. No follow-up as of Mar 2021 so my husband and I reached out on numerous occasions requesting an update and was told each time by separate reps that they had no idea when our whole order would be available. Each time we spoke with someone different and they would say they had different items in stock but only a partial order and therefore couldnt give us our items piece-meal. On one particular occasion, a female employee named Kayla was particularly rude and asked my husband if we wanted her to make the appliances after we asked for an ETA on our appliances. While I understand that COVID has impacted production, its the manner in which we were treated and the ABSOLUTE ZERO follow-up we were given that led us to get a refund and go elsewhere. Will never go to Appliance World for anything, unless I feel like waiting 8mos + to possibly get a smart aleck answer about the whereabouts of the appliance(s) I ordered

The staff at Appliance World helped us navigate a few difficulties with our selected appliances with great professionalism. Manufacturers are having difficulty producing and delivering appliances, Patrick at Appliance World resolved shipping issues with one manufacturer and recommended a replacement refrigerator that is perfect. They delivered twice to our home and were courteous and most accommodating.

The personal attention that was given to us by Christian was not only informative, but extremely helpful.Christian, who was due to close shortly,, NEVER once, made us feel rushed or that we came at a bad time!!. Appliance World is a purveyor of mostly higher end appliances-- and the experience matches the product.As you are examining the many luxury brands arrayed in their HUntington showroom (there is also a location in Oyster Bay), you will be offered a complimentary beverage, maybe a snack.Your salesman will be knowledgeable and have access to a remarkable amount of information. While purchasing an oven here, the salesman was able to tell us the dimensions of our prior oven based on a 20 year old model number.Expect to spend a lot of money. Installation is not free and discounts are few and far between on these models.If there is a glitch in your order, delivery or installation, these folks take it seriously and do whatever they can to make it right.If you have your heart set on a programmable, internet accessible oven made by a high end manufacturer, or something else made by a manufacturer not available in your local home center, this is a very good place to buy it.
I needed a replacement filter for my fridge. I called Appliance World, they had all my info in their computer system, and I was able to pick the filter up the next day. Great customer service!

They just push appliances to sell, never follow up on anything, spend 60k, never updates the delays, they don’t have a expert to advise you with the appliances you buyI think if you spend money, time and wait for months, they should explain the product what are you buysThey are like statuesAll sales men are arrogant and the prices for all the appliances are at least 10 to 20% higher then other stores for the same brands .You have to call them 10 times to get hold of themIf you argue about their service they would be like if you want your money back we can credit it back ??Really ?I waited 4 months and now you can’t provide any info and your answer is if I want my money back .I build 8 homes never had this bad experience with appliances.
My dealings with Appliance Store are remote, since I used them during the pandemic, but it made no difference. Each time I needed help with my order, they provided diamond-level customer service. Claire provides great advice when placing my order over the phone; Madeline, in particular, helped me with an ordeal I had with my installer, and eased my worries about their ruining my dishwasher. Appliance World installed a new dishwasher as soon as one was in stock and transferred over my existing warranty; the installers were extremely professional and courteous. They had competitive pricing and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend them!

Had contacted Simeon at appliance world and made appointment for the next day. He had 5 choices of dishwasher ready for us to choose from, that met our requirements. Based on quality and availability. He explained the difference. We made a deal and he arranged a delivery date. We got a call the night before from the installer. He said between 8 am and 8:30 am, he was there at 7:45! You can’t beat this kind of service
We went to gather info on several appliances. Steve was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. He showed us the differences and made suggestions but did not pressure us. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Sale and delivery was quick and efficient. My complaint was that I did not receive the promised call to confirm my delivery date. When I called the store, I was told that I was scheduled for delivery the next and I would be called that next morning with a delivery window. I never received that call either, but did get a call from the delivery person himself saying that he would be there in 20 minutes. I happened to be home, but that’s not always the case. I would hope for better communication next time.
We had a very easy and helpful experience with Appliance World in purchasing our appliances for our new kitchen during this stressful time. They got the dimensions of what I needed from my contractor, sent me two different packages. placed the order and did all the work to obtain rebates for me. It was so easy and less stressful.
The Sales Manager Neil Mistry at Appliance World in Oyster Bay is on our list of favorite sales people to deal with…and that is a very short list. My wife and I were devastated when our home burned down in 2008. During that stressful house rebuilding process, Neil was genuinely sincere in his effort to help us select our new appliances. On his own time, he came to the house and evaluated what we needed. We were grateful because Neil took some of the stress out of our rebuilding.In 2020, we needed to replace our washer and dryer. We only wanted to see Neil, and found that his work ethic was still the highest. My wife and I find that Appliance World products are still top of the line, and so is their Sales Manager, Neil Mistry.

This was my first experience with APPLIANCE WORLD, and I was a little leery about using them..I usually buy our appliances from a local appliance GIANT in the metro NY area, but the FRIGIDAIRE model gas range I wanted, they did not carry? They told me they would order it BUT they did not know when they would receive it.I also checked other retailers even HOME DEPOT, ALL were out of stock and waiting for more to be shipped to them from Frigidaire.Then I called APPLIANCE WORLD on the phone and was told they have the model we want in stock, and could have it in 2 days!I ordered it over the phone, right then and there. After I got off the phone I wondered how come they have this model and no one else? The price I payed was the same as anywhere else, no more, no less? I thought, will I be getting the floor model which I did NOT want? Will I be sending it back? I will have to wait and see. Hmm?This morning the delivery truck came bright and early, I watched as the back of the truck opened up and there was our BRAND NEW gas range STILL in the box unopened! YES! The delivery men were very PROFESSIONAL, one man uncreated the new stove and the other disconnected the old stove. Together they took out the old stove and brought in the new one and hooked it up, these guys were good, they cleaned up everything and were gone!The sales people I spoke to were polite and a pleasure to speak to!In the months coming, we will be buying more new appliances, APPLIANCE WORLD will be our first stop! The whole experience was great!Yes, we would recommend APPLIANCE WORLD to family and friends too!

After visiting many appliance stores and not finding what I was looking for, a friend suggested Appliance World. Thank goodness they did because from the minute we walked in the door it was like we were family. Our rep was fantastic the front office and back office staff were phenomenal and the selection was more than I could have asked for. I highly recommend this place, they are very experienced and professional. It’s worth the trip even if you live a bit of a distance away.
