This Mountain High Outfitters location is amazing! It’s 2 stories high and has a great selection of inventory! All your favorite brands like North Face, Patagonia, HH, On, Brumate, Sun Bum etc.The employees are always very friendly and welcoming. Each time I’ve visited I’ve been greeted upon entering the store and they’re happy to help search for an item you’re looking for even if it means contacting another store.Throughout the pandemic I’ve been impressed with they’re commitment to supporting healthcare workers like the two different times they donated a free pair of shoes to the healthcare workers.You can place an online order and pick it up in store. When you go to check out, they accept contactless payments like ApplePay and provide a paper shopping bag. They also extend a courtesy discount of 10% to military and first responders. I highly recommend this store and this location.

I do NOT RECOMMEND!!!Got to the store at 3:27 pm. There appeared to be 6, possibly 7 employees working both up and down stairs. I stood beside the Costa sunglass display for nearly 30 minutes. Two female employees walked past me and smiled as they did but neither bothered to help my spend several hundred dollars.During the pandemic I would’ve thought that Mountain High Outfitters would be interested in selling some merchandise but obviously not!!

Went here to look at few things for some upcoming primitive camping. The owner and staff were of great help! Purchased a really nice sleeping bag and some clothes. Very pleased with the items we purchased. They have a great selection of outdoor items! Prices are very reasonable! Will be back!!

A mid-sized outdoors store with a modest selection of gear. The prices are a little higher than what youll find online, but you are paying for better service. If you like to support local stores (or at least not the largest retailers) then this is a good place to get recommendations and purchase outdoors equipment.

Ive never received service from every employee in the store. It was so nice to have all eyes on me. I just wish I had gotten one of them a leash so following me around would be much easier. The sales were good tho...

Excellent staff and an expansive selection of outdoor clothing. Check in often for sales. One of the better collections of regional and local branded merchandise.

I really love this store! The products were great and sales staff were very helpful, especially Lindsey. My whole family was able to find clothing that they liked, and the quality of the brands stocked was great! My husband had a shirt delivered from another store that was available the very next day. I was very impressed with the customer service. I just wish this store was in Florida!

I came here yesterday, and I have to say that this store is amazing. everything is clean, neat, and organized. and the customer service I got was top notch! I can’t remember the names of the people but every person that was working was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. this one man helped me tune a ukulele I ended up buying. i’m very pleased with this place and I will definitely be back :)

It was a two story outdoor activity shopping complex the variety seemed very nice but I was there for one thing so didnt look around other than quick visual View of a large variety of useful Outdoor Equipment or trendy stylist clothing could be used either way. Honestly I would give this two and a half Stars for two reasons. Prices number one, and I intentionally called the store prior to going to it and inquired on disc, for playing disc golf the lady on the phone, first had to put me on hold and run and look after saying yes they did have discs but didnt recognize the brand I asked if they carried. Which they did not still. Still wanting and needing a new disk for my disc golf bag I went anyway and they had this little metal basket filled with disc golf disc, approximately 12 but only one putter and the rest all distance drivers even though the variety of the distance drivers was actually very good. But all in all the trip was a disappointment as far as a disc golfer shopping for a new place to begin his purchases of disc golf equipment this is not the place.

I had a wonderful experience today at Mountian High off of North Memorial Parkway. It was awesome to have such wonderful customer service! Freddie, I believe that was her name, I think she was the manager- was amazing. She even helped me walk my coolers to my car! Great store, great people! :)

This store is a little pricey but really good

Nice outfitter with 2 locations in Huntsville. Staff is friendly and helpful. Knowledge of the product lines is adequate but often lacks the detailed info a serious outdoors person would need. Nice selection of brands and inventory. Not as wide ranging as an REI but you generally can find what you need. Periodic sales are Excellent!! Sidewalk sale this past weekend was up top 75% off.

Mountain high always has a great selection of clothes and outdoor items. The staff is always very helpful and willing to help you find what you need. They go out of their way to make sure that you are finding everything. If you need outdoor gear this is the spot

Very disappointed at the lack of customer service. Went in with my kids. Store was not busy at all. And no one offered to helped or acknowledged me. I was extremely frustrated because I went out of my way to shop at that location.

Great for higher end outdoor clothing at retail prices. You can outfit yourself for just about any kind of camping/hiking adventure. If you are looking for more than what the mainstream name brands are offering you wont find it here. The Bridge Street store has more options for backpackers.

I stopped in today looking for new shorts and had a great experience. I was greeted immediately, shown around, educated, received several selections to try on and got what I was looking for. Genuine customer service is a lost art and will be returning in the future.

Good selection for the area, helpful staff, and reasonable pricing for the range of goods offered. Like that they partner with larger entities to offer trips and other travel opportunities.

Nice outdoor clothing store with a wide selection of goods. Prices are a little tough, but theyll occasionally have a decent sale.

DO NOT BUY SALE ITEMS HERE! Even if you return an item purchased on sale the VERY NEXT DAY, they will only give you store credit or exchange. This is typed really tiny on your receipt and they SAY their associate is supposed to tell you at time of purchase - which I was not. I bought Chacos for 30% off yesterday and went to return them today. It was a complete hassle and then a total insult that they called the location of purchase (Bob Wallace) right in front of me at the counter to actually ask whomever answered the phone if they told me about the policy when I purchased the shoes - when I had just told the guy (at Bridge Street) they had not. So, especially if you are purchasing an item you arent sure about...dont buy it on sale, or just dont buy it at Mountain High at all. Too many other options with better return polices that wont treat you like a jerk.

It was a great experience. McKenna was really sweet and helpful. Would come again!

Nice Outerwear and gear but a bit pricey...
