This is not my favorite Walmart location, but it usually has a decent selection of food and home goods. Although it’s pharmacy and the isles around it seem smaller than usual. I came in for some Abreva cold sore medicine and I couldn’t find it, plus none of the associates in the area knew where it was either, I ended up getting it from a different Walmart location so I’m not sure why I didn’t see it here.

Very nice store. Clean and wide isles, not crammed together. Wide selection of goods, more than other WMs Ive been. Store associates who are responsive and friendly.

My type of store from in home to out door activity arts and crafts all types you name it..... This is a chrome Notebook for me from Walmart supercenter. A very reasonable price.

People in Alabama are extremely friendly. Every Walmart we have been to they say hi and are very helpful. Makes me not want to go back to evil mean NYC😂🤣

I have started using the shop online and pick up at walmart. Honestly, very convenient. Especially for groceries. Highly recommend at this point. Some teething problems in the early stages but they seem to be worked out and working very well.

Many shelves bare, auto center closed, only two registers working, self checkout down, six employees entertaining each other..couldnt find what I went after!

Stores well net clean on the inside parking lots little trashy but not too bad, some extra blue lights and cameras.

They had everything I needed on a Sunday afternoon. Fully stocked and friendly, helpful staff. Definitely not like home (visiting from NJ)

Very clean and well organized. Staff helped me with no problem finding what I needed.I was in a hurry and they pointed me right where I needed to go.I was in and out within 20 minutes thanks to their help

None of the people here are willing to do their job. The parking lot is filthy. Just come to the store during closing. The ENTIRE PARKING LOT is filled with carts and trash and it doesnt look much better in the morning. Heck the shopping cart corrals are crooked and all messed up everywhere.Everyone in this store is LAZY and doesnt deserve their job. Just watch them shuffle along inside the store.No one ever asks if you need help, they just ignore you.The store manager should be F-I-R-E-DI WILL NOT BE HERE EVER AGAIN.

This was the largest Walmart that Ive been into. They was well stocked & clean. I didnt see as many employees on the floor when I had questions where to fine an item that I was looking for. But over all a good visit & I didnt have to wait in any lines.

Lots of products and lots of choices for each product. Sufficiently stocked.

I keep torturing myself due to convenience🙄🙄 Starting my switch to Target this week. Walmart is simply not worth the aggravation. The checkout process is atrocious, unclear and aggravating. Recently half their shelves are empty! Not to mention the giant PickUp carts employees use to shop with that block aisles...and their customer service is appalling.

I got my good for less and the more I did save for the cans well my sister did go in for the crabs and came through with pickle sauce, so overalls

They have a great variety of food and the store is very well organized! Its an 8 out of 10 for me!!

Like always. Tons of people waiting in line and 2 registers open. Why do they have all those lanes if they only ever have 2 open. If Publix, Target, or Kroger were on my way home id gladly pay a higher price for stuff.

The white lady worker at the door held up every customer to check the serial number on a black man item. She wouldn’t had done that if the person was white

This Walmart is a bit down-at-the heels. Many items dont have prices listed on shelves and I havent seen those red price scanners where you can check prices. A small but telling sign is that, unlike nearby Walmarts, theres no metal benches for customers to sit by the entrances. I dont fault the store manager or workers; this is obviously a corporate decision to let this store go downhill. The comparison with the Walmart on 72 in Huntsville is striking and when possible I prefer to drive there to shop.

Had someone paged twice spent 30 min total waiting. Finally called another store(not Walmart) found out they had what I needed. Threw everything down and left about had it with Walmart. Employees dont care. Two I know overheard me getting upset and just kept walking by. When I went back the second time for a page there were 4 employees standing there laughing and two were on their phones.

Staff is actually present. Cashiers are friendly and highly effective, even through SELF-checkout.

Have had repeated problems with this Walmart location that is nearest my home!!! On Sunday 06/06/2021 I selected my purchases and went to checkout at the self checkout on the GM side of the store. Paid for my items with my CC and then an error code popped up to call the attendant. There were problems ever getting a receipt. After 30 minutes of trying to get a printed receipt and frozen groceries melted, I left due to severe pain due to recent back surgery. After 30 minutes of waiting for a printed receipt left store because I have back pain from recent back surgery. Frozen things were thawed and was told that I would have to go to customer service for refund of ruined frozen items. At self checkout, three different employees tried to get receipt printed. Was told by one employee that I did not need a printed receipt. I asked to speak to the manager. Manager Jason came after I had been waiting for the receipt 20 minutes. Jason said that he would print it in customer service. After waiting 10 additional minutes for store manager Jason to return, I had absolutely no choice but to leave due to the severe pain in my back. I left the groceries in the buggy at the self checkout, told the employee to refund/cancel the charge to my credit, and I left. The charge to my credit card was NOT reversed or refunded!!!! Left to dispute the charge with my card holder. Thankful that I did not pay with cash.

One of my favorite Wal Marts..... would work here but aint no telling how many months it would take just to get an interview from the time you put in your application unless you know somebody....lol

This particular Wal Mart has a huge inventory of shoes and work boots which is why I came inside for and to get,They had a lot to choose from and the selection was very big.I came in for work boots really fast and noticed how big and how much inventory was here and thought I would share with everyone wanting to visit here.There are tons of TVs marked down and at a great price point and so many clothes and electronics and cameras and earphones and musical equipment like radios and sound bars and just so much stuff.There could be a little more staff on the floor helping is my only recommendation.Other than that it was a great shopping experience.

Sparkman Walmart is the worst location in Huntsville/surrounding areas avoid at all cost.

Second Sunday morning in a row that I have walked out after standing in line ten minutes. The two cashiers have people with huge baskets of groceries and only one checkout area is open with the line extending into the ladies clothing. I asked at the service desk why, excuse was they didn’t have enough cashiers. Open the other self checkout area!!! Duh!!! That would help. Don’t come here when in a hurry, go to Target across the street.

I just love standing in long lines just to check myself out just to have someone at the door randomly insinuate I just shoplifted while fifty registers are closed. Nice business model Walmart.

Its Walmart. About the only thing theyve done right is adding 30 self checkouts to the two that actually have cashiers at them.Update: Went to Walmart for some shelving. I didnt find the shelving, but I did notice that almost half of the self-checkout lanes were closed. This was at 5:00 p.m., not midnight. I dont know if its just this Walmart, but this is ridiculous. You dont hire cashiers and now you dont hire enough employees to even staff the self-checkouts.

Needed to return some items, customer service was good and the young lady was up-beat abs cheerful.

Area is really bad. Ton of crackheads that harass you in the parking lot. Employees are usually nice, as far as Wal-Mart goes.

Its Wally world ...what else can you say? Its clean, its huge, it was well stocked and not overcrowded. I swear I should own stock for as much as Ive shopped at these massive superstores. Its the go to for every single thing and then stuff you dont think of store .

I went to have my oil changed only to be turned away at 3pm, because they didnt have enough staff. They were down to 4 people. Not pleased.

This will be my third Awful experience at WalmartOn University.The store has a recordingSaying that they close at 11 but are going to be closing The check out at 10:50 With a cart full of groceries.I am so frustrated Because the store Associates are just obviously not busy because they are joking around so why the heck can they not check Me out?!? I asked her the recording u guys have playing does say 10:50 And she responded with a yes What time is it now And I said it just now turned 10:51.So, within the time it turned a minute later she could have let me through.. This is ridiculously frustrating especially when a customer is right a there technically when they still have a minute and their cart is completly full with groceries that they cant even try to help with the situation. Is it not part of their job to help the customer? There wasnt another customer behind me so its not like it would have opened the door for for other complaints. I was the only one there at 10:50 and still got turned away. Wastes an hour of my time getting groceries to eat.You guys said you close the doors at 11 and close the registers at 10:50. I would think that means at 10:52 no one can checkout.. Also, So when I walked Around to try to speak to a manager but couldnt get their attention because they werent paying attention. I wish I could have been in on their conversation because i needed a laugh right then. Thank you, Walmart.

Went here to purchase a chromebook for a birthday. I had to hunt an electronics associate down to assist with my purchase. He acted like he clearly didnt want to be bothered and he was not knowledgeable on the products. He said they didnt keep them in stock and was pushing me to order it online. Then added insult to injury by walking off to assist a person that wanted to purchase air pods. I politely took my time and money to another retailer and spent money with a store and associate that was knowledgeable and EXTREMELY Professional.

Carl (white older male, just in case there is more than one) stepped out his department and helped me in a department he knew nothing about not once but twice. Truly appreciated his awesome customer service.

Usually have the items I need. Going thru registers was not an issue. Masks still mandatory in the building which I don’t mind. Got in and out. Had some items to return another day and while the customer service lady was trying to multitask answering the phone was clearly fed up answering the questions rolling eyes,huffing and finally had another customer service rep handle the call. I understand getting frustrated but teach composure to my kids. It’s not funny watching someone acting that way on the phone in front of other customers. Person on the phone can’t see you but tone comes thru and is unprofessional in front of store customer. It would cause me to hesitate to call. She finished my transaction quickly.

Everytime I go into this store, they never have shopping carts readily available. I have to walk back out to the parking lot and get my own cart. Ive also had carts hit my vehicle because so many are in the cart returns, they just roll out. Absolutely ridiculous

Produce section was a mess. Single Nathans hotdogs prepared by the deli was available for purchase, but no condiments.Whats a hotdog without condiments??

Just moved here and had to talk to a few staff members while trying to find my way around. All of them were super helpful. That being said, freight was all over the floor at noon and in several aisles I needed access to.

This is a really nice Walmart! Very clean, HUGE, bright inside, lots of options, friendly staff. I dont usually leave reviews for Walmart because... well, its Walmart. But this one is very nice!

Tried to make an online purchase. Was directed to go to store for purchase. Store did not have the item. Wasted trip. Store was very crowded & did not feel clean.

Staff and managers are rude...all check outs were closed..I was told all cashiers were on break..what company does that? Customers in store and every one on break? I will not be going back. Im sure they could care less.

This Walmart had everything I wanted but the store is not clean. This store needs a new appearance. The workers who work in the parking lot at night do not bring the carts in and the parking lot should not be blocked with carts because someone isnt doing their job. Sorry but the truth needs to be told. Maybe a regional supervisor can fix these issues. Still a good provider.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Parking lot was absolutely NASTY. Trash everywhere...glass...nastiness. The inside is not much better. Store in disarray. Not organized at all. Went to checkout and the cashier was on her phone while we were standing there waiting, after saying, excuse me politely to get help...still nose in her phone. Her friend tapped her saying we needed to be helped. She didnt not look up. Finished texting, then proceeded to help us. She must have been texting the president or something. I guess it was a pretty important message. Last time we will be there. Not to mention no employees were wearing masks correctly.
