Five Loaves Deli is an excellent place to get a bite to eat. Their sandwiches are divine! Ive also had a few of their quesadillas, so good! Theyre changing up their fountain drinks but I dont mind. Still good. Excellent customer service. Didnt take too long considering how busy it was. I definitely suggest giving this little gem a try if you havent. Best deli in town. Also, it is always best to support your local businesses.

Been here twice now, and had the sprouted black bean burger with the red pepper hummus each time. Sooo good! Really appreciate all of the vegan options they offer, especially because its hard to find good vegan spots in Texas. Definitely will have to try more of their options in the future💚🌱

Bleu walnut spinach salad is truly fresh!Dont even need the suggested dressing.There is just the right amount of salt in the blue cheese.

Five loaves has a giant menu with lots of options for us vegetarians. I had the veggie burger which was interesting, to say the least. The patty is kind of a firmed-up portion of refried beans, not bad at all. The bun was tasty and the avocado, while welcome as healthy, seemed to be a day or two old as it was as gray as a stormy sky. I had to try the bread pudding because it’s not something you see every day and it was quite good. I suspect it would’ve been even better if served warm.

Cute deli and very clean. Excellent sandwiches and lots to choose from on menu. They have incredible friendly service from all their staff. We stopped through Huntsville on our way to Lake Conroe and we’ll be back the next time.

Y’all. This was the sweetest, little deli I’ve been to in a long, long time. Enveloped in a college town, this deli has so many delicious options and one of the best parts...almost everything is made fresh there (sauces, breads, etc). I totally understand why they have such high ratings, and if you’re passing through town, it’s not too far off of I-45. I will definitely be back when I’m in town.

This place is a gem. It’s the best sandwich you can get in Huntsville, and probably in Walker & Montgomery County. Great quality. I recommend the SWAT wrap or the Delta BBQ sandwich. Don’t forget to get some fire n’ ice pickles!

The food is always well made. Its not GMO. I was one of the first people to eat at Whole Food store in Houston. This place reminds me of it. Will be coming often. Sweet staff.

The sandwiches are made order so the little bit of wait was do worth it. Lots of meat on a delicious bun that adds so much flavor to the sandwich (I had jalapeno cheddar). The staff are so friendly and when they bring out your order to go they confirm each item ordered. The bread pudding was sooooo good, cant wait to return for more. Clean, friendly, reasonably priced and delicious...Id like to give it 10 stars 🌟. Looking forward to next trip to Huntsville

This is my go to for tasty and healthy options for lunch. Everything is super fresh and the staff is very friendly. They have the best Black Bean Burger I have ever tasted and their jalapeno dip served with it is sooo good. There portions are generous so I often have 1/2 sandwich or 1/2 quesadillas and it is plenty. Also try the Southwest Pasta Salad. So yummy!

I love supporting my local businesses that are suffering due to COVID. However this establishment had half their employees not masked up and two had their masks off and around their necks. Even the owner was not wearing a mask and she is an elderly woman who should be worried about this pandemic. I work in the food industry and understand how it is a NECESSARY inconvenience to wear a mask for the safety of yourself and the people you serve. Especially if you are elderly or with immune deficiency. So sad to see a beloved place not care about the heath of their patrons or employees.

Its great if like saniches and wraps. My daughter said her wrap was delicious and the potato salad was the best ever. I dont eat the kind of food served there but they did have a grilled cheese on Texas toast that was out of this world!!! Will go back there again. The staff were extremely friending and inviting 😊

My black bean burger was amazing! And I had the best service. The employees here really care about their customers.Again, couldnt get enough of the burger. I love this place because their food is amazing! Ive ordered almost everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed. The above statement is not an exaggeration, I worked at Five Loaves Deli for a year and in that time I went down almost the entire menu. The chicken salad sandwich on a sourdough bun is amazing. The pimento cheese sandwich is amazing. The black bean hummus is amazing. The quesadillas ARE HUGE!!! Im 63 and the half order of the quesadillas fill me up so well! The full order is plenty for 2 people and at an amazing price! The atmosphere is so welcoming, and so homey, and its just a delightful experience that Miss Judy has put together to make her deli feel like less of a restaurant and more like having a home cooked meal. The service is splendid, I would know, I used to work there. Charlie demands the most outstanding service possible out of his employees and it shows in the way the customers are greeted when they walk in, how theyre treated while theyre ordering and when theyre dining inside, and how theyre bid goodbye as theyre walking out. This place is amazing, a must visit if youre in the Huntsville area. Please do yourself a favor and check this place out, you will not he disappointed.

Very friendly staff, great selection of sandwiches and salads. Even the salad bar is very good. I tried the egg salad, which had good flavor but was overpowered by the amount of flavor that is in their special in-house rolls.

My roomate told me about it and I went with my grandparents. All of us loved it. You wont regret it!!

I spotted this locally owned deli and I’m extremely glad I did!Fives Loaves Deli in Huntsville, TX is a mellow and comfortable spot in a strip of small businesses slightly off the beaten path.As soon as I walked in I was courteously greeted. The young lady working the counter was pleasant, friendly, and very helpful.I noticed the daily soup special was Broccoli Cheese. Being as hungry as I was, I opted for the 16 oz. bowl. It was good, but fairly standard for that type of soup. Don’t get me wrong, it was quality but my sandwich was the superstar during this visit.After asking about the Mississippi Comeback sauce on the sandwich of the same name, I ordered it. Fresh sliced tomato, grilled onions, thin sliced beef, and Comeback Sauce on a jalapeño cheddar cheese bun/roll.To satisfy your curiosity, I was told the owners were from the Mississippi River Delta area. The Comeback Sauce was described as somewhere in between Thousand Island dressing and a remoulade sauce that was “aged” for 24 hours. Please forgive if I didn’t get that exactly right.Bottom line is the Mississippi Comeback sandwich and sauce on the bread option I chose was delicious.Five Loaves Deli has a small salad bar, Keto selections, and more. Check my posted photos for the menu and menu boards.Tea, soft drinks and water are the offered beverages.There’s plenty of seating in the two rooms that comprise this establishment. Simple no frills deli with friendly service. The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. I ordered a black bean wrap, chicken quesadillas, and their cole slaw. Everything came out fairly quickly. Would absolutely come back for lunch.

Went here with my vegan daughter and we were both happy. The banh mi panini mashup I had was delicious, but i think it may have even been better had it actually been pressed. The counterperson was friendly and informative. The potato salad was delicious and house made. I look forward to going back and trying their homemade sauerkraut.

Great food! Highly recommend the potato salad and rueben for sure. I know many who love their salads so I will go ahead and recommend those as well. I will say the quesadillas I have tried leave much to be desired, but I will remain a regular outside of that.

Ten years ago, I found this little sandwich shop in small town Huntsville Texas that blew me away. I ordered a simple sandwich that had big flavor, an ATS/avacado tomato swiss. Everything was so fresh and crisp, you could feel the love of making good food in each bite.For two years I made it a point to get a sandwich from five loaves when ever I could.I moved away about eight years ago. My job has had me travel all over the southern united states. Ive eaten at some really good restaurants but Ive never found a sandwich as good as the one I fell in love with ten years ago at five loaves.Resently I was afforded the luxury of moving back to Huntsville Texas. Needless to say, within the first week of being back in Huntsville, Ive gone to five loaves 3 times for my favorite sandwich that taste the same as it did all those years ago... Thank you five loaves for continuing to put love in each sandwich you make...❤️❤️❤️

Great food. Exceeded expectations for small town. They have a quinoa salad, falafel bowl, keto bowls, etc. if you need a break from heavy soul food. My husband and I loved the burrito bowl. My daughter got best cheese quesadilla ever..I stole a triangle. So good and I have had many a quesadilla.
