We picked this local gem out on a quick visit to Huntsville. It’s so quaint and busy!!! I don’t mind waiting and it was worth it. The staff is friendly and efficient and I was shocked when presented with a very inexpensive purchase with a coffee and several bakery items. Just all around great experience. Definitely recommend!!!

The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because I think they got too busy and forgot about me waiting for my sandwich. Both my husband and I enjoyed the coffee and food. The atmosphere of the place is great. Currently there is no indoor seating but plenty of area outside to sit.

The best possible coffee place in town for studying and writing. The menu has a wide selection of flavors and get breakfast items. I come for the coffee, but I stay for the very light music and quiet atmosphere. Perfect for any work you need to do on a laptop.

As a lover of coffee, this place touched my soul. I was excited the moment I pulled up and could smell the roasted coffee beans. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and it was close to one of the best drinks Ive ever had. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!!! Both employees working were super friendly and fast and eventhough there was no dining in, I loved the atmosphere. 14/10 Cant wait to go back!

Part of the downtown coffee trail in Huntsville this coffee shop has so many options for the customer. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is excellent and the coffee bean choices are many. We tried the Puerto Rico dark and a medium. Both were delicious. They offer creams, different flavored syrups and a large tea selection if you want something different. Buy beans by the pound or just a cup. They have the size you want. We will be back.

A long-time Huntsville coffee institution. The hole-in-the-wall charm is cozy, but the coffee is DIVINE. A favorite shoppe for a daily coffee or bulk house roasted coffee beans or grounds. Coffee is so enjoyable that Ill drive across town when I run out just to pick up more. Staff is always eclectic, as are the patrons. Finding it is difficult, but definitely worth it.

First time trying this place out. Super huge coffee fan, but this place didnt live up to an expectation as I hoped. I ordered a frappe to which honestly just tasted like garbage. Barely had any form of ice in it and didnt taste like any of the flavors I ordered. The cream cheese Danish though was one of the best I have ever had. The staff were friendly. Im normally not one to post such negative on reviews but I honestly didnt like my drink.

I’m giving this a one stare based off of one visit out of the many that I had. I hope the owners see this so they can take action on this because people like this will cause you to lose business. I’ve been to Old Towne many times and I give it 5 stars for all the other visits. At 6:45 on Sunday July 25, there was a girl working in the back that was incredibly rude. She did not greet us when we walked in the door. Explicit rap music using the “N word” multiple times was playing. When I walked in, it didn’t feel like Old Towne, it felt like I was a bother for walking in 15-20 min before closing. We asked for something simple because we were walking in close to closing, we asked questions and they were returned with disrespectful one word answers. We thanked her and she didn’t even look at us and gave us a pitiful “mhmm” and walked off while sighing and rolling her eyes. These are the types of employees that destroy good places. They are the type that ruin the experience and cause people to never return. This was a disappointing experience. Every other time I’ve been here has been 5 stars.

Good coffee, waybto extreme with their COVID rules. They will be enforcing masks past the states rule of the 9th. Forced to wait outside for my food. Mask slipped below my nose and I was quickly asked to pull it back up.Not returning.

Great coffee, tasty pastries. The kitchen was closed the day we visited, so I cant comment on that. But the cinnamon rolls are delicious!

First timer. This was really good! Had a mocha. Had a nice choc/coffee balance. Also, they don’t sweeten - so I can sweeten (or not) to my taste. Tasted the mocha/coconut milk - same balance, but a notch more sweetness. Ate the B/E/Cheddar croissant - which they toasted to a tongue-satisfying medium brown. The cheddar was medium sharp and the bacon was thick but not hammy. Also tasted the house bagel with hummus, avocado and tomato. The bagel was fresh/soft, and toppings were ample and tasted very fresh. Y’gotta try this coffee shop.

Ive been coming here for this incredible Jasmine Citrus Green Tea for a while. The tea is some of the best around, and bagged to order. Its my favorite place to come and read in a nice quiet environment with friendly people, inside or out. Of course the coffee is amazing too, and I like sandwiches. They have those.

We had cheese danish and coffee cake. They were the best of all we had so far. ( And we lived in so many different cities).We definitely will come back when we are in town. Thank you so much!

Deliciously eccentric with a California hipster vibe, this delightful slice of Redwood chic serves some of the best coffee in Huntsville. One of my favorite spots to people-watch!Parking is a tight out front, but there are additional spots at the rear. Plenty of outdoor seating, too. Nothing negative to say about this great coffee shop :)

I was out of town on a visit to hunstville and i really wanted to try a local coffee shop, being the coffee fanatic that i am. as soon as i walked up to the shop i knew it would be a great experience. the outside seating is so nice and the building is so cute. the inside was decorated very homely and i felt very cozy. when i walked in the song she plays bass by bea was on so i knew that i was in a devine establishment. the must taste in that place is spectacular which is a key part to a local coffee shop. the people working on that day were very kind and helpful and they provided great, quick service. i got an iced coffee cold brew with oatmilk and vanilla and hazelnut. it was so good, the taste of their coffee is amazing. i will definitely be stopping by next time i am in hunstville.

This is probably my favorite place in all of Huntsville! Its beautifully quirky. They always dope music, they have awesome monthly specials, and the coffee things (also, non coffee things) are bomb! I miss being able to sit inside but outside still has the same good vibes.

The first time you go youll need a local guide or Google maps cuz its really easy to miss. Beans are roasted daily in-house and you can smell them from the parking lot, its amazing. Great local coffee shop that has a wonderful, friendly staff! This is a great spot to work on a laptop, read a book, or catch up with friends. There are a few tables inside that accommodates roughly 10 people comfortably along with outdoor seating options. The parking here can be a little tight at times so be weary if you have a large vehicle.

The atmosphere was cool. But if you are looking for a good cup of specialty coffee this is not it. If you like flavored lattes this would probably work for you.

Lovely little coffee shop with great service, a small plates menu, and bakery items. The ambiance is (sm)artsy, eclectic, and bohemian. Like, Moulin Rouge bohemian, not West Elm bohemian. I had a London Fog and hummus & pita. Both were fantastic and my barista served the pita warm and the hummus was 😚👌. There are small tables, and places to sit with a friend or small group both inside and outside. Add this place to your want to go list!

Awesome coffee seating can be difficult but great people

This was going to be my first experience with Old Towne. Didnt get a chance to try it out. First thing that was blurted at me when I walked in the store was you have to have a mask and only 2 in the store at a time. Needless to say I turned around and left.

Best cold brew in Huntsville! I recently went during the pandemic to get coffee beans. The place I normally go to get my beans was closed, so I decided I try some of theirs (they do make my favorite cold brew in all of Huntsville so why not). The beans made the best cold brew I’ve ever made. The staff were very helpful in recommending to me which beans to get. Will definitely be buying beans from here for now on.

Did the coffee trail with my wife and this shop had the best coffee hands down. My favorite of theirs and probably one of my favorites of all time was their Costa Rica bean.

Yesterday was my first visit here. It was hard to find since the location is small and off the road, but Emily gave me great directions on how to find them. I came to purchase whole beans to brew at home. They recommended the Costa Rican blend for us since we like a medium brew. The coffee is wonderful and has such a smooth flavor. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back !

Wow the three baristas working this morning have a gift that keeps giving, their positive vibes, almost allowed you to be entertained while you were waiting on your coffee to go, honestly if I had to wait for 10 minutes for my coffee it would have been totally worth it, listening to the chatter of the locals and the baristas doing what they do the best !!! Love the coffee, love the cold brew and love the atmosphere. A great stop if you want to fill up on coffee and breakfast for the day. The only issue I’ve encountered is that sometimes it seems like the staff looses enthusiasm ands get kinda worn down. It’s rarely an issue but I sometime have felt that the people making my coffee didn’t want to make it. Still 9 times out of 10 going to old town is an enjoyable experience.

This is the secret hideout coffee shop. Tucked away under the trees off Pratt Avenue. Scoot around the corner and down the alley labeled Psycho Path for extra parking. Excellent coffee & espresso drinks. Yummy bakery treats. Relaxed service (as in, do NOT come here if youre in a hurry). Absolutely my favorite place in North Alabama to meet a friend for a long coffee. Inside & outside seating.

My daughter and I visited today for the first time. The staff was amazing, and beyond helpful! The coffee was delicious! The food was heavenly! They made lifelong customers out of both of us! I cant wait to go again.

Everything is always top notch and I love the vibe of this place. Its eclectic but always feels like home, too. And everyone is super friendly, both employees and fellow patrons. Their menu is full of delicious items but if you need suggestions, I say go for a chai tea latte with cookie butter flavor and an everything bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese. And you cant go wrong with the cookies or brownies!

When I was walking to here, I noticed a closed charcoal grill out front with smoke billowing out and something that smelled delicious. I went inside, and was like Id like whatever is in there! Lovely small town community vibe where you can make friends everyday. The best roaster in town(says this critic). And inexpensive compared to the fast food varieties. Why would you ever choose *$s over this local business?The only obstacle is parking, but there is additional parking in the back and on the side streets.

Great local mom and pop coffee shop. I try to swing in when Im in the area and have time, Ive always had quick and efficient service when I stop in. There seems to always be a few locals hanging around, parking can be a bit tight, but worth the effort to stop!This place is small but very cute! Inside there are about 12 seats
