THEY SAVED MY DATA WHEN NO ONE ELSE COULD !One day, my macbook pro decided not to respond to the power button - no response at all.Apple quoted weeks to repair, and probably wouldnt have saved my data.Two separate Apple-authorized repair centers couldnt fix, they only swap logic boards which wouldnt have my data - cost me a total of $3000 !Powerbook Medic fixed it int two days by simply cleaning out a bit of corrosion on the board - and saved my data - for $345 !!!!!!!!!Love these guys.

Sells unusable junk on eBay that catches fire. Be warned I wouldnt have bought the item from them IF I knew better, but their good ratings are misleading.I used the same exact charger + cable on my Note 20 ultra multiple times so that is not the issue! It was apparent that the device was overheating and rebooting randomly since I received it but it was enough to pass their quality control. They sold it in good condition with a hairline crack on the screen alsoGrade A scumbags, I have gotten better quality electronics and customer service ordering from AliExpress (China)

Powerbook Medic and Alex were great! I thought I was going to have to simply throw away my old MacBook Pro when the screen went out on it. Then I did some web searches and found Powerbook Medic which described my problem and gave me hope it could be fixed. These old MacBooks are power houses and still have the DVD drive for older problems, so I really wanted to keep it (besides the fact that a new one was over $1000). I was very pleased with the service and price of $350. Alex let me know the price with a quote and before he did the work (it was just as he estimated), was quick to respond when I had a question, and returned it in great condition. I did have the problem pop back up when I got it back, so they paid for it to be sent back, repaired it completely under warranty, and sent it back to me. My MacBook looks and runs like new! A thunderstorm destroyed the audio board for my 09 iMac. Powerbook Medic had a replacement at a great price. I had a great experience with this company. My 2011 MacBook Pro 17 had a GPU failure and Apple wouldnt fix it because it is a vintage product.After a lot of online research, I found out that PowerBook Medic has a service to fix anything wrong with your logic board for only $249... This includes replacing the faulty GPU with a brand new one.I called in a few times and spoke to them before and during the repair process. The technicians were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. These conversations built up my confidence in them and I decided to go for it.I found their online video instructions for removing the logic board myself. I shipped it out to them and received it back yesterday. I was elated to find that my MacBook is running as good as new.I am very happy with my experience and highly recommend the logic board service. I ordered a logic board for my mac. The item came quickly and in good shape. It was packaged in an antistatic bag inside a box. I have yet to get it put in but expect it to work flawlessly.

My kid’s Kindle Fire quit charging, so I found a used battery for a great price here. It didn’t come with installation instructions, but it was easy to find out how to do it on YouTube. Installed with no problems and now the Kindle is up and running! Shipping was quick, too.

I bought a replacement display for my mid-2015 15-inch Retina MB Pro. The staff were very helpful, they needed to confirm shipping details and to confirm if I wanted a toolkit (which I did, and they had to add on mu order separately).Shipping was fast, and the display worked great. I get a few more years on a laptop that I will hold onto until Apple make a laptop with a better keyboard.

The logic board that I purchased from Powerbook Medic worked perfectly. I had it installed for a fraction of the cost of the Apple supported local dealer and the device itself was at a discounted price. Delivery was faster than expected. The only problem was that I could not order the device on my credit card and have it delivered elsewhere in my absence. So purchase/delivery was needlessly complicated.

The product they sent me was in really good shape and was a great replacement for my MacBook. The only problem was that the keyboard didn’t work properly but I had a replacement laying around so that wasn’t a big deal. Would buy from them again.

My expectations were exceeded. These replacement feet are far superior to the factory feet and were cut precisely to fit the recessed groves. Installed in under a minute with no re-dos.

Paid for a repair, machine was returned to me less functional than when I shipped it, with visible damage on case. when I contacted the company abou teh issue I was told that the repair had been done and was quoted the same amount to have the exact same repair done again. Joke customer service, zero delivery or follow through. Paid $300 to have my time wasted and my laptop damaged. Great job guys. Worthless!

I ordered a used fan to replace a clicking fan (shot bearing) in my MacBook pro. It was supposed to take 10 days for it to get delivered but its USPS so it ended up being a month and a half. Anyway, the fan was perfect, it installed with no issue and my computer is silent again just like it was when i bought it.

I got a good deal on a used trackpad for my MacBook Pro, and used Powerbook Medics helpful video to guide the replacement process. Came in good time! My Apple MacBook Air was so dead that battery was needed badly! Also its Genuine Battery Too when it really showed it was battery power cycle was brand new! Also as with Lithium Ion Batteries, it was shipped in anti-static bad knowing you need to use an anti-static wrist band! Yes from battery cycle count from 1079 on old battery to 0 on new battery!

The hinges I ordered worked perfect. Was able to repair my 13” MacBook. Only thing was when I purchased the part. I thought it was just 1 item. And when I received it it was a package of 2. Not sure if it indicated it on the website.

Unlike many of the individuals who have written reviews about Powerbook Medic, I had a horrible experience with them. I was given a defective product. When I sent it back, I was told that it wasn’t defective. However, I had many professionals test it, and they said it was definitely a defective part. When I received a refund, I was charged a 15% restocking fee, because it “wasn’t defective.” I’m glad I will not have to deal with them anymore, because they have been nothing but inconvenient and difficult to work with. If anyone decides to buy a product from Powerbook Medic, I hope you don’t have a similar experience.

Left my macbook too close to my humidifier and damaged the logic board. Took it to the mac store and they told me they could fix it for $800. I just went ahead and bought a cheap PC for $120 to hold me over for school. A few months later, I thought Id look to see if there was any way I could get my mac repaired. Powerbook Medic gave me a free diagnostic and quoted it for $400. They fixed it in a week and billed me $340. Laptop works a s good as new! They even cleaned it. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered a replacement Kindle Touch screen. Wizard walked me through to make sure I got the right part for my model. Ordered and it was here two days later. Video on their site showed me everything I needed to take it apart. Installed and worked like a charm. Hopefully will never need their services again, but would turn to them without pause.

Great job repairing an older MacBook Pro 5,1 Logic Board. I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro 15 inch that I have used in my business for 10+ years that had developed a power issue where the unit would not power-up if left turned off for an extended time (overnight etc). It could sleep for days and resume but if it got cold it wouldnt boot. Eventually it would not boot up at all. Doing some online research I initially sent the MacBook to the RossMann Group in NY, however they were unable to repair it and suggested that I replace the board. I preferred to try and get the original board working however as that was my original goal so I found the PowerBook Medic site and sent it off to them with a little less optimism, but still hoping it could be fixed.. Needless to say they got it back up and running and it is working great.. seems like new and booting up w/o issue. I am in fact writing this review using it! I would definitely recommend them for MacBook repair.

That combination allowed my son (13) and I to rebuild a damaged 2012 MacBook Pro for the low price of $50(shipped) that included both shells, screen, LCD, and camera wire. Between the two of us we had zero experience. The only thing I wish would have been in stock was the screen removal tool, but it all worked out in the end.
