I made my appointment online for Kate Friday afternoon. The staff were very friendly. I told them I would move fast to make sure they were out by 5:00. They moved very fast. Even fixed the fabric ceiling stuff for free. Highly recommend them! I now understand why Safelite is the standard in auto glass.

Made an appointment online since it was a long wait time on the phone. The technician came out, introduced himself and went straight to work. He was here for approximately 45 minutes. Very nice man to have that installed the windshield.

Safelite did an amazing job on my car. I not only got hit by 1 rock but 2 each on different days. Unfortunately I had lowered the coverage on my car insurance and my deductible was very high, so high in fact it cost me 749.00 to have my window replaced. In Safelites defense I had to have my camera put back on and everything calibrated but still a horrible amount of money to come up with. I dont know what people do if they cant come up with that much money. It wiped out my savings anyways. Also is my understanding that you are suppose to get a can of glass cleaner with each repair. My Dad also had to have his window replaced. He paid $50.00 and received a can of cleaner and they came to him. I had to drop my car off, pay over 700.00 and no glass cleaner. Seems like it should be no big deal, but I paid a lot of money for that little can of glass cleaner that I did not get. The car was completed in a timely manner, the front desk was friendly at this location

Had a very small chip in my windshield. Smaller than a dime. The technician told us it would be a simple easy fix. Then proceeded to put an 8 inch crack in my windshield of a car that’s less than a month old. They then said we had to bill my insurance for a new windshield and pay our deductible. Even though we were never told there was a chance of breakage and didn’t sign anything stating that we were liable if they broke it. They refuse to cover any of the cost even though they broke the window. And have been nothing but rude to deal with in the process.

3 large chips repaired in less than 30 minutes. You cant even tell where they were. Tyler was fast and cleaned all of our windows while waiting for the resin to dry. He was arrived right on time, was very professional, and did an amazing job.

They made sure I was happy with a window replacement, it took 3 different tries but they didnt give up until the right piece of glass fit.

My 2011 Outback had required a windshield replacement. I scheduled the repair with Safelite on 17th Street in Idaho Falls. I called ahead of time and made sure Safelite knew this was a replacement (not a chip repair). I was assured the new glass would be ready to install. I showed up for my appointment right on time and was told the job would take approximately 30 min. I sat down to wait, knowing I had an hour before my next appointment.I knew something was wrong when the technician invited me out to my car asking if I would “point the chip out to him”. I clarified that the windshield was cracked, not chipped, and that I had called in advance to make sure a new windshield would be ready and waiting for me at this appointment. The tech conferred with the person who was at the counter for a bit.After discussing the work order with the tech, the counter person said “My bad” and agreed that it was a replacement that I had been scheduled for and that the glass had been delivered already. Relieved, I leaned back in my chair and waited.I understand that unforeseen problems arise. I can accept that the best laid plans can get altered. I wish someone would just keep me informed by communicating things with me. I mean…it would not even require a phone call…because I am SITTING IN THE WAITING AREA.So, my estimated wait time was not changed and no one said anything to me about having to wait longer. Heck, it was a whole HOUR after I arrived, before my car was even taken into the shop.I had to take an Uber home to meet with a contractor because my car was not ready when I had been told it would be. Then had to take an Uber back to Safelite building afterwards.After I returned, I learned that people who had appointments AFTER mine had their windshield, issues resolved and have gone home. One of these people had a car of the same male and model as mine, complete with the Subaru eyesite system that requires a calibration after replacing the windshield.I am still waiting…. Instead of the 30 minutes I was promised, it’s has now been TWO AND A HALF hours (and I am STILL waiting)…Sadly, no one has offered an explanation or an updated repair time…

The Service Technician was very professional in every aspect. Braydon Cox provided quality work and quality service. Always practiced appropriate social distancing when interfacing with us and when in our vehicle to complete installation and calibration. Disappointed with reception area personnel especially the male who wore a mask but did not cover his nose the entire time he was observed.

I have used Safelight for a few repairs and there has always been an issue. They are very polite and professional but the quality of their workmanship is sub-par at best. The first windshield they replaced was was with a cheap aftermarket windshield which didnt last very long before it need to be replaced. They did a very poor repair on the latest windshield and it cracked shortly after the repair was done. I wont work let them work on my vehicles in future, they just dont stand behind their work.

Our windshield gained a large crack randomly and we knew that we needed to replace it sooner than later. Got a quote online and made an appointment as soon as possible.Everyone was super friendly, service was quick and the price was fair. Definitely recommend this place.

Installer left old rubber gasket laying on the engine of my truck and just shut the hood. Lucky it didnt catch on fire. He also dislodged the main hose for my windshield washer system and did not hook it back up. I do not recommend them at all and will never use their service again.

Master technician Jared was exceptional in his customer service, as was his manager, although I never caught his name. My insurance company was not moving forward with my claim, and three weeks later, Jared and his manager took the initiative to call them and get them moving so I could get my windows replaced after a vandalism. When Jared arrived, he maintained social distancing and was very pleasant and polite. He did an excellent job, and even vacuumed out my car and washed all of my windows. I would highly recommend Safelite to anyone who is wondering who to go with for glass replacement. I was impressed with them throughout the entire process of having my windows replaced and felt they treatment me exceptionally throughout my entire experience with them. Nothing more than a bait and switch business. Online quote and verified was $329 for our windshield. But when we showed up, the price went to over $1,100. And thats the price before their added extras. Needless to say, I didnt, and will never do business with them. I have about 125 windshields replaced every year, so my experience level of price and service is on the expert level.

I was very impressed with this service. The online process was really easy and my insurance covered the replacement. Scheduling an appointment online was very convenient and the tech showed up on-time, even though I live in a very rural area and changed the service location on him last minute. I also like how they sent me a text notification when the tech was on his way and his cell so I could contact him directly. Holy Smokes, cant say enough good about this place! It seems like Im here several time a year to get rick chips repaired for my vehicles and have never had a bad experience! Fast, friendly, and the technicians are VERY knowledgeable about how to fix all my windshield problems. Not going to lie, I dont make appointments (even though you can call ahead or schedule online) because they have always been able to work me into their schedule. Came to Safelite Autoglass and had an amazing experience with Jennifer at the front desk!My wife and I called the Safelite call center to schedule an appointment, and was told that the calibration for the front sensors was going to be included in the cost. We had called the dealership that we bought the car from and they informed us that we had safety breaking features and lane assist in our windshield, so to know that the price that we were quoted was going to include the calibration.We get to Safelite this morning to get the repair done, and was informed that the price of the calibration was NOT included in the quote provided over the phone, and that it would put the cost $300 more than we were expecting.Having worked customer service for several years, we just calmly asked if there was anything that could be done and asked the lovely Jennifer if there was a manager that she could talk to to work out a deal for us. She spoke with her wonderful manager who agreed to give us $100 off of what we were going to pay after our insurance deductible (this was only $50 more than we were planning to pay, which we felt was a good compromise).Jennifer then proceeded to switch our repair over from cash to insurance, and made the whole process super easy!She then found out from her technician that our windshield doesnt even have lane assist, and the safety breaking feature that is in our car is found in the bumper. The only thing that we have in the windshield is a light sensor that flips on the head lights when it gets dark!So, the amazing Jennifer took care to switch it from the insurance claim back to a cash only payment. And on top of that, when we applied the coupon code that we had previously applied to our original repair, the cost was even LESS than we originally were expecting to pay.Now, I know that all of these details might not be applicable to everyone, but if you have the pleasure of working with Jennifer here at Safelite AutoGlass in Idaho Falls, take ease in knowing that you have one of the best employees here working on your case! Mixed review on this location. The technician who replaced our windshield was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately the manager ordered the wrong windshield, initially refused to honor an online coupon, and ultimately quoted us the incorrect price resulting in an additional $100. Not to mention, this was during the pandemic when they had less business than usual. Disappointing.

I live up in Rexburg and had them come to my house to fix a front windshield. The technician was really nice and got it done quickly. Fast forward three days and the plastic moulding at the base of the window wasn’t reinstalled correctly so makes a horrible squeaking nose above 35 mph. Now I have to drive it into Idaho Falls for them to fix it.

I was shocked how disorganized this company is. I had 2 windshields to be replaced and 4 times in a row either they showed up with the wrong window, came with a broken one or not even one at all! They dont talk to each other at all and was constantly repeating myself. 4 different days i had to set aside my afternoon for them to completely waste my time

We just left this Safelite after getting a rock chip on HWY 20 in Idaho, loose gravel. They were quick and efficient. You can barely tell there was ever a chip. The guy at the desk, Doug, was super nice and friendly...and humorous. Being so far away from home (SC), it was reassuring knowing we were being taken care of so quickly by nice folks. Thank you.

He found items that had been previously repaired (INCORRECTLY) and fixed them in the correct manor. I am extremely satisfied with his work, he is very knowledgeable and knows how to perform his work.

The one in Pocatello is far better. So much work to get my windshield replaced that I just paid out of pocket instead since they couldn’t figure my insurance out. I will drive the extra time to pocatello to get fixed since it’s so much less of a hassle.

First off, they were amazing. I got a window chip that turned into a crack across half my windshield. They were so flexible with my schedule as I was going on vacation and then shortly after moving back to the Midwest. I dropped off my spare keys there before I left, and they serviced the vehicle at there shop (mine needed special calibration that had to be done there). When finished they returned my vehicle.Not only did they do that, but also mailed my spare keys to my new address after I forgot them in Idaho. They saved me big time! Highly recommend!

Ive always had my windshields replaced here. This time has been a complete joke. The people are rude, they dont communicate with you. Ffs youre getting $1400 from my insurance to replace my windshield? Youd think youd treat your customers better. Ill be using someone else next time.

We were on a road trip from Texas to Canada, due to road construction we got a chip that was at any moment going to spread. It was a Saturday and most places were hours away or closed, Levi at Safelite fit us in despite having a full schedule. In and out in 15 min, chip looks great. Really went above and beyond, Thank you!Update: the chip fix did not hold😒! Fix has no warranty.

I had the windshield in the 2003 Civic replaced recently and the installer did a GREAT job! Had the old one out and new one in, in about an hour. He was very professional and cleaned all the windows on my car while waiting for the glue to set up. Very happy with the work and will have them do more of my windows in the future.

Came in to replace my front windshield as it had a huge crack. Showed up late and was still treated nicely, they found some rust on the frame that they removed and primed before installing the new glass, they also replaced the windshield wipers that were competitively priced. My insurance covered my windshield and Ill be bringing in my truck for a rock chip repair in a few days.

Making an appointment is easy. Work was incomplete. Parts were missing or not re-installed. Glass cleanup was what youd expect if you asked an 8 year-old to do it. For $227 I received a piece of glass--had to complete installation myself. 4 follow-up calls and one follow-up visit yielded promises to call me back (never happened.) Will not use them again and will recommend against friends going. Nothing but trouble. But 2 stars because they got the correct piece of glass on the first try. Also...calling corporate offices is pointless. The customer service problem goes to the top. Stay away.

Like most people, I shop to find the best deal. Not only did I find the best deal, I found the best company, with the best technician, at the best price and they came to me with a super work van loaded with everything needed to do my repairs. To take my vehicle to a shop would have wiped out nearly a full day. The nearest town that I could get glass installed is one hour away. It saved me several hours of time and nearly $20 in fuel. We had a pretty severe rock chip fixed today. The tech, Rian, called when he was on his way, and when he came he was professional, informative, and quick. Then provided his business card so we can contact him if any problems or questions arise.This was our first experience with Safelite and it couldnt have gone better. I was very impressed with how quickly it was scheduled (less than 24 hrs from the time I called), how convenient it was to have someone come to my home for the repair, and with the emails that were sent ahead of time confirming not only my appointment time, but also the anticipated cost, and the name and picture of the technician who would be coming.We will definitely use them next time we need glass repair or replacement on any of our vehicles, and will be recommending to friends and family.

Called last week and was quoted 280.00. Called today, and I was quoted 360.00. Lady says quotes are saved for 5 days in their system. Maybe I will wait and give another try after 5 days... But maybe it will go up more. I will try again and add to this review. Its worth experimenting.

They quoted me for the wrong glass, waited until they should have been done to call me and tell me they had the wrong glass and that they couldnt get the right glass for 3 days, made sure that I was basically cornered and then told me they could get OE glass for $100 more. We needed the vehicle to work and we were 700 miles from home. They knew we had no choice. When I complained about it, they offered zero discounts, and instead wanted to offer a $15 set of wiper blades, knowing we had two brand new pairs of high quality wiper blades in the back seat. Had I known they were going to be that shady, I wouldnt have had them repair a chip in our other vehicles windshield. Ive been here several times, and had little problems each time, but theyre clearly going downhill. If you have any other option at all, definitely avoid Safelite if you can, especially this particular one.

I took my vehicle in to get a chip fixed they said it would take about 15 minutes. I told them I was planning on dropping it off because I had kids with me and I had someone follow me there to pick us up. I left it there for about two hours and never received a call saying it was ready. I called their number and wasted about 15 minutes with their call center to just hear that they didnt have my name in the system and they didnt know if it was done or not . I figured after two hours it would be done by the time I got there. I was then dropped off with my kids to find out they hadnt even looked at it yet. So much for planning ahead to save time and my sanity. I was happy with the repair but the customer service and speed of service is lacking.

Im from out of town and was trying to get some information about coming in to reset some loose glass. When calling their number I got an automated line. After sitting on hold for over 10 minutes I finally hung up. Waste of time. My advice is if you want customers, get someone to answer the phone calls and get rid of the automated lines.
