They ordered me a new Yamaha outboard, got it here fast and took the time out of their very busy schedule to have it ready to go for fishing 4th of July weekend, I was very impressed with their customer service. Would highly recommend them! And when I can talk my wife into it... I will be returning for a new g3 jet boat!! Haha

They did a fine job repairing our boat. It needed a lot of work after having been stored for a couple years and also having the prop dragged. It was an older boat so they had a little trouble finding parts but came through for us and the boat runs like a top. They were quite busy and communications were sometimes a challenge because we simply didnt know what was going on or why it was taking longer than expected, but once we worked that out we were very pleased with the work they did.

This guy is awesome. Great experience. Awesome boats. Everyone I know I will send in to see them.

Jay took time out of a very busy day in his shop to help diagnose and fix a small 8hp outboard. We were in the area on vacation and our fishing trip was saved because of Jay’s help and expertise! Highly recommend using this shop for any of your boating needs.

I would not trust anyone else in town with the maintenance of my boat. Jay is a stand up guy who runs a good ship.

Horrible customer service badd attitude and unwilling to go out of their way to actually do their job they do not answer the phone and when they do theyre quick to get Moody and refused to answer questions. I drove there with the part in hand to ask them if they would order it he said he did not have time I asked him why he could not order a part that would take 5 minutes for him to do he said he didnt have 5 minutes I do not recommend this place to anyone not only does he have a badd attitude The boat that he was working on was brand new and he had greasy handprints all over it was wearing his shoes inside the boat I would not take my stuff there or go back there ever again

Jay is an awesome guy that knows his way around fishing or playing on the water boats I take my boat to him every spring and fall I love the fact hes honest with me about what kind of attention my boat needs to make it last wouldnt recommend any one else but ultramarine its an awesome wife and husband owned business

Went in with scheduled warranty work needing done and he was extremely upset that i would, his words, force him to do warranty work on our mercury. Very un-professional. Never have I been treated like what he said and did to me. Still cannot understand why he was mad at me for bringing mercury warranty work to authorized mercury repair facility. I will be going to corporate over this company.

I had Jay do some things for me on my boat a few years back. Now I am having problems and need to get some repairs done and cannot get him to even call me back. He is so busy, that If you call him out or upset him he is done with you. There arent enough good boat mechanics in the area so even the bad ones have plenty of work...... I think Jay is a good mechanic but so busy that his customer service is lacking....

Jay has gone above and beyond in servicing our boat for the last 3 years. I totally trust him and would recommend him to anyone who has a motorized boat. A good boat mechanic is really hard to find and one that you trust is even harder- Doug Clark

Great folks to work with

Called Ultra Marine as they work on tohatsu motors and I had no power to starter or trim. Called on Aug. 8th, appt. for Aug. 25th due to busy time of year. Told mechanics I thought it was corroded battery cable, it was, simple repair. Never heard anything, so checked one and a half weeks later and Jay said he was behind on paperwork and had to get this boat out as owner was waiting for it. Stupid me, I thought Id get a call later that day or the next from Jay stating the invoice was done and I could get my boat. Waited another week and a half and went down. Told mech. its been three weeks is invoice done? He checked and said cant find it, got Jays wife she said Id have to wait for Jay. I told them it looks like they need to hire someone to help with the paperwork. A little later later Jay calls, very curt and says I can pick up my boat. I get there and he is mad at me! Says you must have worked at INL said no I was a claim adjuster and he said that figures. Acted as if it was my fault he cant handle his business. Told me I did not know the difference between a boat and a car (told him I never had to wait like this for auto service). Sorry Jay, you have no idea what being a claim adjuster is, we dont get to make excuses. You have a business, run it properly. Y:es, I was irritated with the wait, but was NOT rude to your employee, or your wife, unless you think the suggestion that getting help is rude. I would never recommend Ultra Marine. Its not my fault your behind in paperwork, its YOUR business!
