Love this establishment! Whenever I’m needing a special gift (for any occasion) this is where I go. During the holidays the owner has been extremely helpful in making up personalized baskets for my loved ones. I happen to be in the store and witness a poor prior reviewers experience and I can say the only person being rude, loud, and disrespectful was the consumer. I’m sorry for whatever is happening in your life to make you so bitter about a cupcake but I hope you find some peace.

First things first this store does practice COVID 19 awareness and social distancing. Visiting Idaho Falls? Come see this store... but what is it? A specialty store, a bakery, or what? They just have everything! They have souvenirs, clothing, bags, jewelry, chocolate, cupcakes and more!!! I can spend more than an hour in here.Love their little Knick knacks and by the way they have seasonal stuff. The time I came was October so you’ll see pics of Halloween items. I loved this store I was everywhere, it’s not that big but there’s so much stuff to look at. So, I hope the pictures I took and posted will help you see what’s in the store!FYI, love love love the cupcakes. Not only nicely decorated but they’re actually pretty good. Tried to take these cupcakes home to CALI but they didn’t make it. We ate them :). The staff were helpful in answering my questions and they were very nice!

I would give a zero star rating if I could. I wanted to by some cupcakes for my grandkids. I have a coupon for buy 4, get 1 free. Unlimited uses. I wanted 10 cupcakes. Pay for 8, get 2 free. The store owner only gave me 1 free cupcake. I showed her the coupon again and pointed out Unlimited uses. She refused to give me 2 free cupcakes. So I told her I would just take 5 cupcakes. She refused to sell me any cupcakes. She told me I was mean, took the box of cupcakes and went into the back of the store. She refused to talk to me. I have never been treated so poorly in my entire life. For a small business owner in Idaho Falls, she has a lot to learn about customer service. She was mean, rude and disrespectful. I will never shop at Love at First Bite again.

They are NOT disability friendly. The aisles are far too thin for a person on foot to get through, but ESPECIALLY not a person on a wheelchair. If you are disabled or have someone with you who is disabled, DO NOT come here. You will not have a good time. I went here with my friend who is in a wheelchair and we had a decent time because of our sense of humor but we struggled to get anywhere. We couldnt get to the toys because of the thin aisles. The food is good, but not good enough to endure this experience. Please do better.

Love this place, all sorts of novelty items from food to shirts to my favorite humourous refrigerator magnets. The baked treats like cupcakes and lemon bars are high quality and best to get there early to have more variety. Fun place to just go check out if your visiting or passing through.

I love this store! Their chocolates are yummy, and I really dont like chocolate much. The candy apples look fabulous, though we have not tried them just yet. My kids love the fun candies they sell. I love the various odd and ends they sell for a kitchen and there are so many oils and vinegars available. You really must stop in here. Well worth it!

I am always blown away by the items in this shop just as much as the customer service. Went in yesterday 20 minutes before they closed. My husband and I just happened to pass by as we head home and i made a joke about how you cant just drive by without stopping to get a cupcake. I am 22 weeks pregnant and have been dreaming about those cupcake for days. We don’t live in IF and this was the route we needed avoiding traffic to get home.My loving husband pulled the car over so fast i didn’t have a chance to say I was joking. And of course now I am committed to going in and getting a cupcake.Keep in mind they are about to close and I work in food service, so sometimes getting a customer that late in the day isn’t always exciting.I pop in and head straight to the deserts.A gentleman helped me find the last red velvet. I would have gotten something else if they didnt have it but Red Velvet is what i have been dreaming about for the last couple days.Not only was this man patient enough to help me look but he chatted with me about the day. Most people looking to close shop just kinda hang back and pray you leave soon.I did not get that treatment. I got a kind man who found the last cupcake and he was dissatisfied in only having one left making the comment that I probably didn’t come in for just one.I can see the dilemma in his head as a good customer service rep. Do you make more for the pregnant Lady and risk going home late? Will she ask?Absolutely not! I guessed what was in his head and stated that one is all i needed. I was just excited they had one left being so late in the day.This kind man gave it to me on the house.I assumed it was because he might have already closed the register so i explained that i had exact change for it.He said nope that it was on the house because not many people come in and leave happy with just one cupcake. He thanked me and wished me a good day.I dont know if this shop gets many people who will make a scene over cupcakes. I hope they don’t because they are always kind. Its a pleasure to visit this shop no matter the time.Its not about the free cupcake. It was that they go above and beyond to provide a great experience and make sure you leave content.

This place is pretty cool...lots of curios retro type games and items...kind of a jam packed flasback curiosity shop..some neat stuff in there to...some otems bought from suppliers some from individuals craft...tons of store made chocolates and goodies and unique drinks to..this photo i post is an item i bought there .very unique well crafted.only 11 bucks..i only dont give 5* because...lol..im a little claustrophobic..and this shop is pretty cramped twisty and turny..you might get lost lol jk

I love the cupcakes and the choices of flavors. The staff is very nice. The only issue is it is so crowded with stuff that you have to be careful where you walk so you dont bump into someone or knock something over. Even with the added space, they just packed it with more stuff. I do have to say that the candy I got for my husband was hard as a rock. He had to use a knife to cut it. You can never go wrong with their cupcakes!!

The best frozen custard Ive ever had. The store has some amazing stuff but it was too crowded. It was hard to see stuff.

I used google to find mini cupcakes for my daughters wedding and this place came up. I bought over 400 cupcakes and each flavor was amazing. It was a hit at the wedding! I priced them out and they were over $150 cheaper then Cocoa Bean. There is a lot of other things there which made it extremely crowded, but the employees carried everything to the car, so it wasn’t something I had to worry about.

Wonderful vintage & beautiful oddities. Its almost like stepping into a 1900 British delight shoppe!& the candies! This is the only place this side of the Mississippi that Ive found certain cadies! Commonplace delights in the UK but rare & difficult to find in the US. Going in to Love at First Bite is always a delight!

I was hosting a baby shower for my daughter and found this shop online. My daughter went into the shop and people were friendly and absolutely accommodating. She custom ordered cupcakes. We went in and the cupcakes were stunning, and yummy, and the lady was so friendly. The shop is so cute and fun. I highly recommend everyone to check them out!

This place is AMAZING! Due to lack of poor planning on my part, I called in a rush order, giving them only a few hours to make up a gift basket and get it delivered - so I didnt look bad! They were SO friendly and helpful! They even took extra care by making sure they got the right address (the gift was being delivered to a new address that wasnt even on the map yet), and then they even called when the delivery person showed up and no one answered the door. (The recipient was in the back yard and didnt hear them, so I called.) This place as THE BEST customer service ever! I live in the Seattle area, where lately Ive had several issues of people being rather customer service unfriendly ... Love at First Bite makes me want to move to Idaho Falls!! You people are awesome.

Wheel of the oils and the vinegars. We use a lot of olive oil in cooking, and we love the flavored olive oils. We also do a lot of salads, and I like the fruit flavored balsamic vinegars. They make a great dressing mixed with a little of one of the app for mentioned olive oils. They also have a great candy case that I occasionally get a treat out of. Something to reward myself for eating a lot of salads.

I love this place! It really is love at first bite! I purchased a bunch of candy for my kids because they would rather have sweets than toys. Strange. Anyways, I highly recommend the fudge here. It’ll blow your mind.

They have a huge assortment of nicknacks, not just chocolates. They have so many jellies, infused olive oils, stuffed olives, sauces, marinades, random treats, assorted unique foods... you really cant pigeonhole the place into a specific catergory. Jewelry, other wearable, and even seasonal decorations. The decorations are cute, but the pricing is a wee bit proud. Id never buy a small plastic skeleton for $117, but I bought mango habenero sauce, raspberry habanero jelly, a marinade, a box of matches, and some chocolate custard for $36. Really helpful friendly staff, if youre in the area and want some truely unique items from Idaho Falls I cant recommend stopping here enough

The cupcake I had was DELICIOUS! The only reason I’m docking them a star is because it was nearly impossible to walk through with my infant in a car seat on my elbow and my toddler in tow. It’s packed full! Everything looked cute, but I couldn’t get out of there quickly enough as it was all too tempting for tiny hands.

When I asked my Grandkids what they wanted for dessert they all said Cu[cakes from Love at First Bite. It was nice that they carry Pasta and Sauce as it made a nice dinner to go with dessert. The staff is wonderful and I love the selection of quirky cards and magnets. Too bad they dont have a store in Meridian, ID.

My first impression was that the store was jammed with stuff to the point of being like a hoarders haven. To even get in the store its almost impossible as the walkways are too tight. Its impossible for someone in a wheelchair to get in, or maneuver.I looked at several candy bars. One in particular was priced at $4.50 with a Best By Date of January 2019! A bit out of date at a high price is a definite turn off for this former retailer and grocery man.My wife waited to buy some decorative cupcakes. We were not spoken to, or acknowledged when we entered the store. She told me that the person who helped her was abrupt and had poor customer service. She bought a few small cupcakes because we were there, and didnt want to go somewhere else because of time.It may be the last time we go there.

This place is a dream for me! I used to live in IF but Ive moved to Salt Lake and every time I come to town I have to go there. They have so many cute things, nicknacks, toys, games, baby stuff and lets not forget the candy and the baked goods! I also love all the food items they have for all over. They have a jalapeno bacon dip mix that I got last time I was there and DANG it was so YUMMY! I heard that they are expanding and I cannot wait for more stuff to look at and buy!

I send my family in Utah care packages from Love at First Bite every year for Christmas filled with made in Idaho products that I find here. This little shop is packed with great options for last minute husbands. I love the new things they seem to have in each time Ive got to find that perfect well thought of gift.Plus they have the best cupcakes in town. If you cant decide they even have mini cupcakes that are the perfect sample size. The salted caramel is my favorite.

Okay, so....the cupcakes we had for my bridal shower a couple years ago were delicious. But I got a steamer recently and it did not taste very good...I don’t know if there was any sugar or flavoring added. So that’s why it’s four stars.

I called from UT and asked if they could deliver for me. The sweet lady was more than happy to help, and even offered some great ideas. Together we created the perfect SWEET Fathers day gift over the phone! Super helpful, and kind. The next time Im in town, Ill stop by and personally thank them. Thank you Love at First Bite!!!

I love everything about this store! I enjoy browsing the eclectic merchandise available. The chocolates and treats are always amazing. I ordered a drink that didnt turn out so great and they made me a new one and upgraded it for free. The pricing is right where it should be, I feel like I can afford to splurge for a treat. Wonderful customer service, great atmosphere and amazing products. I recommend this store to everyone I know and make a point of sharing it with family and friends who visit.

Very tight spaces! But every nook and cranny in the store is filled with treats and surprises. Its a great place to find a specialized gift for a loved one. They have so many adorable things and delicious pleasures! I love it there! You can even taste a lot of the oils, has, and things. Tings can get a little pricey though.

So many interesting things to look at here, I could have stayed for hours but got there 45 minutes to closing... I was there until almost closing. The treats they make are delicious and there are so many cool, sometimes local, specialty items here. Also, did not know until my last visit about the vinegar bar. I actually didnt check the whole thing out so it might be more than that. Such a fun store!

Last year I bought some chocolates and cupcakes from here for a few of my customers. They loved the food! I bought a little for myself as well, and I can honestly say I have never tasted better chocolate or cupcakes in my life! Absolutely delicious!

Love at First Bite is incredible! I served a mission in Italy and crave high quality food and deserts. They have it all! Lets face it, Europe has better sweets than we do. This place imports them and sells them at a fair price. They have imported oils that you can sample. They let you try any of the chocolates before you buy them. What could be better? My wife and I have traveled a lot, and this store is one of a kind. If you live in the Idaho Falls area and you havent gone in there, you are missing out big time. We cant wait to visit there again this Christmas while visiting from Colorado. See you there!
