I recently moved to Rexburg and have been looking for cute boutiques/shops in the area. Down East is adorable, and the staff is so accommodating and friendly. They have a great selection of clothes at reasonable prices! Check it out if you’re in the area!

I went right as the store opened. The associate was super nice. When she put my clothes in the dressing room as added a few of her own picks that she thought I would like. I ended up buying what she picked! She had really good taste!!

Cute little store, the staff was very friendly. I disappointed that the all the essential tees are gone and so much shorter than they use to be. I have such a hard time finding something long. At least the tank didn’t shrink.

I was greeted immediately as I entered the store by a very nice employee who also introduced herself to me. She offered her assistance then stepped back and let me browse without being in my face or pushy. The store was well organized and clean. There is a great selection and prices are very reasonable. Ill definitely shop there again.

Both sales girls were awesome. I needed help with style and they grabbed everything in the store for me. I am a teacher and had the 40 percent discount and spent over 200- 6 tops, 3 dresses and a necklace were purchased. They went the extra mile!!

I love Downeast, so I was really happy to find their new location in Rexburg. I found some great tops and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The only downside is the lack of fitting rooms, there are only two. Other than that it was a great experience!

The girl assisting me was very friendly, I normally come to dowbeast for their layering tees, but they have discontinued the colorful tees. They only sell black and white now.

I love shopping at Downeast. I love the clothes and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Yesterday I went in to buy some clothing. The two employees there were very friendly and helpful as usual, but I was very disappointed by their unprofessional behavior as I was shopping. They were reviewing resumes for potential employees. They very loudly were mocking the resumes that they received and went into a huge rant about how young adults just starting out have no idea how to write resumes, and were making fun of what people had written. One of the girls even said- “I bet those ones came from someone who was homeschooled.” As a mother of daughters who are just starting out and applying for jobs I was appalled at the way these workers (who had to be in their early twenties) were speaking about these potential employees. It was very loud, and so unbelievably unprofessional. I love Downeast, but there needs to be some lessons on professionalism, and human decency. While I wish they were not having that conversation in the first place- it definitely should not be happening loudly in front of shoppers.

I appreciated the friendly salesperson and pleasant environment! The store and dressing room were clean and well organized. Will come here again.

Whoever worked Memorial Day should be fired. Was shopping with my three girls and the worker was totally rude and never greeted us once while the people who came in after us were greeted and told about the sales going on. It seemed like she would only greet the younger moms and the people who dressed better! My girls and I literally got here after a hike!! Down east please do something about this! I love your clothing and have shopped here for three years!

Ive always liked Downeast but I was kinda disappointed in the colors and styles. Im a little too old for this store but Ive bought a ton of clothes here in the past.

I’m really sad without the changes DownEast has made. I didn’t even recognize it when I went in. First they discontinued all the colors in the basic T-shirt but black and white. There selection of clothing has lost its variety and color all together. The sizing was discouraging and the styles were confusing. I guess I just don’t get what they are going for anymore. I loved DownEast but now with all the muted tones and different styles I couldn’t find anything. 😢

The rexburg location is my absolute FAVORITE! The team there is so sweet and so kind. Everyone who works there is always helpful. I always look forward coming in whenever I shop because its 10/10 experience every time!!

The two customer service ladies were so amazing! They were very helpful and encouraging while I was viewing the store. At the register, they were very concise and explained the process well. When everything was good and done, they were also very friendly and chatted with me about my time at school! I definitely felt welcome there.

The girl at the store was super helpful. I also appreciated she didn’t call me “Hon”. I HATE that. Haha She was wearing of of the shirts I was thinking of buying. She looked so cute in it I had to buy it.

I love this Downeast!! Many of the workers know me by name and are so personable and fun to chat with. They’ve helped me pick out so many outfits and always hype me up. Love this options they have and you can always find a good sale. Love this store!

Cute shop and the employee there was so sweet and helpful. BUT — everything was for fall and winter. This was April 2 and I thought there would be spring things.

We were the only customers in the store and the associate must have been in a bad mood because she was rude and didn’t have any customer service skills. It felt like we were inconveniencing her by shopping there.

I went with birthday cash to by myself something cute. I found what I wanted and was told at the register that they only take exact change. I looked through my wallet and I didnt have exact change. I told the gal I didnt have exact change and she said that I couldnt buy my stuff if I didnt have exact change. I said OK thanks bye. What is wrong with this store? People still use cash. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Thank goodness Olive ave takes cash and was so sweet and friendly unlike this store. Never again.
