I had a chromebook that somehow took several impacts to the screen; I freaked myself out looking at the prices for repair at other shops around town but decided to stop in to Scion just to check. They had to order the screen but the whole repair still took less than 4 business days at half the price other places quoted me. The receptionist is so sweet and everyone was welcome, open, and knowledgeable. Their repairs are also warrantied for either 90 days or two years depending on the repair. I dont think Ill go anywhere else from now on!!!

I was referred by a friend. Holy cats! My questions were answered,a possible solution offered and a soft quote given. I was never patronized for my lack of knowledge. Reasonable fees and amazing customer services! I will call again and ship my computer when I need honest, efficient, timely repair work.

I called to see about building a gaming PC and the manager was very nice and walked me through everything and also helped me choose a PC that fits my budget and is willing to give it a once-over and take care of me. This is the only place I have found to be so helpful!!!

This is probably the most unprofessional business I have ever witnessed.I have only been in Idaho for 2 or so weeks, everyone has been really nice and personable. I really believe Idaho is a hidden gem with amazing people, but the individuals who represents this Idaho based company definitely left a horrible impression on me.Back story, my mom’s English, lacks comprehension. English is not her first language, but she tries her best. My mom owns a nail shop in Idaho. She’s only been open for a few months, and hired Sparklight who ended up contracting this business to assist my mom with a modem. Long story short, they’ve been sending her EMAILS, (who the hell checks their emails in regards to invoices at her age? She received hundreds everyday, and as a business, it’s wise to send in a mail as well) in regards to the bill, apart from Sparklight that she was not notified of. There was obviously a miscommunication and misunderstanding on all 3 parties involved.Two representatives entered her salon, while I was there, during WORKING hours, saw that she had clientele and subpoenaed a bill, threaten to repossess all the electronics that they installed by Friday if they did not receive payment. Absolutely unprofessional. Do you know how much the bill was?! $128. How ridiculous! You came and made a huge scene?! Because of how rude the blonde lady was, my mom became flustered and expressed how unsatisfied with their installation and there has been issues. She will pay, she thought that Sparklight had her pay already, she wasn’t aware she had to directly pay them and not through Sparklight, but anyways, she wanted to express that. I understand they were probably upset as well but how the blonde lady representing this company, made everyone in that store, clientele as well, reconsider their contracts with Sparklight because of the companies they choose to contract with. I have never met such idiots who enters someone’s business to conduct themselves in such manners in my life.My mom always pays her bills but she just doesnt use her email as a form of checking her bills, you have to literally send her a letter of it. It was honestly such a small issue that turned into a big one because of how this company represents themselves. The gentleman that was there was okay, it was the lady that really rubbed everyone there the wrong way.

In a world that is constantly under the threat of cyber attack; It is prevalent that your highly valued files, programs, and hardware is maintained at all times. Personally I discovered Scion Computers via a random phone inquiry. My mainstream system is a whole house link that supports a full theater array along with property surveillance. What customer service should be!!! Asked Jim if they carried a specific part for my computer. It turns out the part isnt normally used so he didnt carry it. 99.9% of stores would have stopped there. Instead he asked me the application and found an alternative. Problem solved.Scion and Jim have found a returning customer in me.

I had a great experience at Scion Computer Systems. My morning was stressful when I dropped my laptop and damaged it right before work, but the customer service at Scion immediately calmed my nerves. They were kind, patient, and best of all, honest. I got a call a couple hours after going in saying that they repaired it and that it didn’t take a long as previously quoted so they would reduce the price. Overall, I’m very happy with the result and would recommend them to anybody.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about my issue. Was extremely helpful in letting me know my options and offering to exchange or return any parts that didnt work. It all worked flawlessly and being that I work at a downtown office, they are in a very convenient location for us to use regularly.

Benjamin and Jason at Scion Computers have been great technical support for our internet services and computer equipment. We recently added their VoIP (telephone) service to our office. This system works great. There were very few minor bugs initially which they ironed out very quickly. We have been very pleased with this product and their management and service. I work at home and depend on my computer. When it goes down, I get worried.On two occasions Ive driven to Idaho Falls to have Scion diagnose the problem. In the first case, I had a virus, which Scion took care of inexpensively. I was back to work in a short time.Last week, I felt sure my computer had died. I tried the usual fixes and they didnt work. I rushed the desktop down to Scion to recover my files. But when I returned the next day, Scion told me the computer was fine. Brought it home, hooked it up, and it works fine. For this assessment, they barely charged me.I value having a reliable and honest technicians I can turn to.

I had a very minor issue with my PC (I thought it was a big deal, but it wasn’t) so they fixed it and charged me nothing. Amazing service!

I really hate to do this but I feel like I was misinformed, maybe it was because it was coincidence it was friday the 13th etc...I called about upgrading my RAM and they told me to bring the RAM that I bought from BestBuy and they would see if they could get my PC to POST. Well they spent about 5mins and decided to try their in house RAM. I was told over the phone that they would charge me $116 to get their RAM and to tune it in BIOS.While they could get my PC to POST they couldnt get their RAM to run at any OC speeds. They decided that my BIOS needed updated. Well for some reason they couldnt update my BIOS through instant flash. The guy spent a good 30-45mins trying to flash my BIOS.Well he didnt succeed and it was their time to close.. He offered to keep my tower there to get things figured out and for me to pay $65 an hour to get it figured out. I said no.They then offered me $100 for their RAM and $32 for their labor which is fair even though I was under the impression that the price I was quoted to include the installation/setup in the BIOS. They didnt say anything about if it took longer I would be charged.. I said no and just paid for their labor.I went home and got my BIOS updated in about 10mins and I was able to purchase the same RAM they were using for $82 taxed and shipped..

These guys are fantastic. I had never gone to them before today and only gave them a try after reading the rave reviews here. But I learned firsthand that these glowing reviews are well-earned. Both Jim and Benjamin were very helpful, friendly, efficient, and know their stuff. After Id spent days trying to diagnose and fix the problem myself, Benjamin looked at it the same day I contacted them and immediately identified it as a problem with the drives band. He had new drives installed in no time and was an honest, happy, friendly delight. We had a problem with the supplier providing the wrong part twice, but Benjamin was helpful in finding a solution. I could tell that he wanted to do a professional job and fix things the right way. Since the correct length ribbon cable wasnt available, Benjamin even warrantied the work for if the display cable starts acting up again. Overall, service was great and I would definitely recommend their services. Its obvious they care about their customers.

Big shout out to Scion Computer Services. This was about the 3rd time I have had computer repair from them and they are the most honest, fair and timely place I have EVER used. My screen went out on my laptop and they worked on it for a week and ordered 3 different parts. Nothing worked, not even a different monitor. They finally repaired it so another monitor could be hooked up and used. I assumed an outrageous bill and procrastinated picking it up. Just went in and my bill was $48.00. I have had experience with allot of repair businesses in the area. You will NOT regret trying them!

I was having an issue with my computer connecting to the internet. I had taken it to Best Buy to have it looked at and after standing in line for 30 minutes they just told me they would need to look at it, send it out, maybe order a part and that it would take them a few weeks to get it fixed. I also had purchased a warranty that apparently wouldnt cover what needed to be fixed. I took it to Scion Computers and within 15 minutes I had a perfectly working computer. No parts needed to even be fixed and I left with my perfectly working, fully charged laptop in hand. Thank you Scion computers for making my experience easy and painless.

It was a pleasure to work with Ben and watch the master at work. His true inner-geek came to surface as he passionately helped me build my new machine. He listened to my many questions, patiently, and responded in an understandable manner. Because he listened to my needs, we were able to build a budget-friendly machine that has exceeded my expectations. I was impressed when he showed me independent reviews of the parts he was suggesting and ultimately allowed me to decide what parts we would use. Ben then took the last step of offering to help transition my old box over, which was a definite time saver for me. Had a simple problem and just needed someone to look at my computer. EVERY other place wanted 60 dollars just to look at it!! not only that, they all said it would take up to a week to get it fixed. I called Scion and they told me to come on in! I took my computer to Scion Computers due to the fact that I realized I had been scammed by phony technical services. Benjamin found that proxy servers had been installed on it as well as phony programs. He did a fantastic job deleting all of the spyware, adware, malware and phony programs that had been installed on it. He also wrote a wonderful letter for me to submit to the credit card company to get my money back from these fraudulent people. I have an IT whiz-kid in my adult son, so I have never taken my computer to anyone else. However, he lives in Houston, and on the phone he said Id need to take it to a local IT place because he suspected I needed a hardware replacement because my WiFi access was a problem.I took it to Scion where Austen played with it a bit and hooked it up to their WiFi, which worked fine. He then told me he would let it sleep a while, then see whether it would engage with WiFi again. When we returned an hour later after we had lunch in town, Austen said it seemed to be working fine but to come back if I had further problems at home. When I asked how much I owed, he said NOTHING with a smile becausewe dont charge for sleeping time. How great is that?? AND the darned WiFi connection has worked perfectly now for two days, even after sleeping. It must have been his magic pixie dust? WOW! These guys are the best.
