When gas prices are not outrageous (thanks to communism), this is the place I usually go. Conveniently located for me and has offered great quality gas. I have not had any other issues with the services here.
I was double charged for a pack of gum and the cashier made a big deal having to reverse the charge. She said it would take 3 business days to show a credit on my credit card, but never did. I called my credit card company and they said the charge was never reversed. I disputed the charge to get my money back. I wonder how many other people this happens to.
Pumps do not take Apple Pay, they are dirty as well but the prices here is cheaper some other stations.
The cashier was really friendly, welcoming, and just seemed happy to be there. The gentleman that filled my propane bottle was very kind and helpful too. Ill gladly go back.
Im not exactly sure why the cashier wants to charge me more for an item than what the price says, but her excuse was that there was a change in management. It appears their snobbery needs to be replaced as well with employees that actually do their job instead of haggling customers.
Why aren’t employees where masks due to COVID? Guess they don’t believe in them?
The cashier was extremely friendly and actually had a sense of humor. Very rare these days. Made me laugh and brightened my day. Thank you.
I think the manager of this store fired the adults and hired teenagers. They had a great crew now you walk in and it looks like a teen age hang out. Forget about getting service here. The place is a filthy dump.. Sad it use to be a great place! I guess teenagers are cheaper???
Every time I have shopped at this Chevron, it seemed to have an abundance of the neer do wells of Idaho Falls coming in and out of the place. Maybe because its located at a busy intersection or that its pretty much in the middle of the 17th street cruise, it just seems to be a staging area for the next street racer who smashes their car into another car later on in the evening. Anyways, just be sure you wear your seat belt.
I use to be a long time (20+ years) loyal customer until I purchased a set of e-cigarette cartridges and after getting home I discovered that one of the cartridges would not work. I returned about 1/2 hour later and asked Wendy the checker that sold me the cartridge if she would replace it and the answer was no that she could not do anything. With approx. 7 other customers standing at the counter area Wendy accused me of putting old cartridges in the package. You can imagine how upsetting that was to me, integrity, honesty and good morals are extremely important to me. Wendy also refused three requests from my wife for a receipt for the tank of gas she put in her car. I think its the law to give a receipt upon request. Wendy would not give me the phone number for Jeff Cox (the owner) or call him for me. The next day I talked to Mr. Cox and requested he fire Wendy for the improper actions and statements she made. Jeff agreed that she was way out of line and that he would do something after he found a replacement for Wendy. I trust people until they prove by their action or in Mr Coxs case inaction and after 3-1/2 weeks to my surprise Wendy was still working and while another person was checking me out Wendy stood behind with a big smug look on her face as if she was saying f--- you, you cant do anything to me. Well she is right but what I can do and have started the process is getting as of this date 17 family and friends to stop doing business with you Mr Cox at your Chevron station on 17th street or your Texaco station in Ammon. I promise that you will lose approx $1000.00 to $5000.00 per month for the next two years. Im retired and I, my family and friends all have full size trucks, motor-homes, fifth-wheel trailers and a multitude of other motorized play toys that all require fuel. Because you Mr Cox do not appear to hold ethics and morals with a high regard and it appears that your business intelligence is lacking and you would rather keep a low functioning employee rather that building or at least maintaining your business I am forced to do what I have to do. Jeff, you mentioned to me some advice your father gave you when you bought the station from him and I agreed with that but I doubt that he is proud of you and the way your customers are treated. You have really disappointed me.
I went to this gas station to fill up with my Albertsons rewards. I went inside to the cashier to pay and make sure I was doing everything correct. She had me prepay inside for a hundred. At this point she informed me Ohh we cant do this. You can only use your rewards for up to 25 gallons. I replied fine. Please cancel the transaction. Sure,...Oh wait it went through. You definitely received your rewards. My reply was. You are positive? cashier Yes sir, please sign this copy. After filling up with 21 gallons I did not receive my discount. She called her manager then proceeded to tell me You cannot use the credit option sorry your loss. Really! This place is full of it. I watched a gentleman immediately afterwards run his card credit at the pump and use his rewards. Dishonest thieves in my opinion. I will not be using this place of business ever again.
Cigarettes are about $1.50 more a pack than every other gas station in Idaho Falls.
Sad excuse for customer service
