Looking for balloons for my mother birthday party. Not one staff member spoke to me. I walked around the store looking for things I need no one wanted to help walked away from me. I ended up leaving empty handed

So unprofessional!! I did an online order April 14th for my mother’s birthday rip balloon release and someone walked into the store posing as me and stole my whole order! I was waiting for the balloons to be delivered when the manager calls me asking if I picked my order up, she then informed me that someone stole my order WITHOUT showing a RECEIPT OF ANY KIND!! Long story short: My order was replaced which they were gonna do anyways! I later found out that her and other works were “allegedly” complaining and talking bad about me and my daughter behind my back all because I asked for a picture of the “so called” thief and asked for a refund! As a manager and a store that’s that’s worldwide VERY expensive, I would’ve gave the customer a full refund do to my and or employees allowing someone to walk out of a store WITHOUT verifying ANY Information on paper of the order!! I then learned she was talking about banning me and my daughter from the store for complaining about my order when I NEVER went into the store!! How do people claim to be so professional but do ignorant unprofessional things behind a paying customers back.....it seems like an inside job to me with my balloons being stolen because I also learned that Party City is the only place that has helium and for a “manager” and her employees to get angry all because I asked for a photo and a refund something is wrong!! I had to contact the corporate office.....the corporate office most definitely needs to train its employees because orders does have customers “personal” information on it that they just let people walk out of the store with!! Word of advice: Stop talking about people you never know who is kin to who or who knows who!! I normally deal with the PROFESSIONAL party city in Greenwood but they didn’t have the delivery time slot that was convenient for me but I know the next time.....there’s nothing more I HATE than a unprofessional business!!

The selection is incredible. I bought a red Santa hat for $5. The quality was unexpectedly good. Very warm hat.

Arguably the worse Party City I’ve visited. Upon pulling up they had two employees out in the front sharing a moment in the middle of the parking lot, had to stop what they were doing to run back into the store before we got in there. Needed balloons for a gender reveal in which they did incorrectly. Upon calling and stopping in, their associates were high. Calling into the store to express my frustration, the manager wasn’t aware of what’s going on nor did she care. Highly suggest and recommend going elsewhere.

Junky and extremely empty shelves.

A lot of amazing party ideas. The pricing can hurt your pockets a bit but they are alternative places to get many of the same items for a dollar other places. But the selection is unmatched. Even have baby shower ideas.

I purchased the items I needed but costumer service was just BAD!! No one greets you and no one can help even when your asking its like a zombie town, everybody has on a shirt but their zombies and your human. Very irritating to say the least wont come back to this particular store again!

Always seems to be a wreck. A lot of similar stuff you could get at a dollar store much cheaper.

Its alright. Its just kinda cramped which makes you feel a little weird because of covid, but its not like they can really do much to open the area up more.

Love the selection for party items at this store. The themes are constantly changing and always on trend. Cute balloons to choose from. Prices can be a bit pricey. Staff is very helpful at the washington street location, I prefer this location to o6th street location.

I paid over $100.00 for Balloons for a major event my balloons were a disaster, so they redid the balloons and it was even worse. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone if your doing a large order.

I order balloons for my daughters birthday party the day before. The day of the party I received a email explaining that my order was ready for pick up. Only to arrive 35 minutes before my scheduled Birthday Party for my 7 year old. To find out that my order was no where to be found. There was no more ballon bouquet on the shelf left. I was so disappointed in this store. I have never experience this from this store before. Will not be going g back there!

Mehhhh! Picked up a 18 Happy Birthday ballon and 3 coordinating latex ballons on Sunday afternoon. Also stopped by Dollar Tree and pickled up 4 more star ballons. Its now Tuesday and PC ballons are like branches on a Weeping Willow (started falling Monday morning), while the DT ballons are still full and flying high. Sorry PC, no more ballon money from me. On a sidenote, thx to the Washington St store for replacing the grad momento from my online order. Received a box with only the bubble packaging. No reply to my email inquiries and waited several times for nearly 2 hrs on the phone.

Lots of great supplies, not a lot of options for kids party games and activities though.

Older lady that works here is very rude, doesn’t know how to acknowledge or even treat customers. Would avoid going to this party city, the one in greenwood is better and friendlier.

Everything you could need for almost any kind of party/celebration. They can also make banners. Clerks are very accommodating. Fridays are VERY busy, so make sure you pack your patience. You can also do alot online. Pick up and go!

Walked in to get balloons for a birthday party. The clerk greeted us and went on her way. I shopped and found the decor and balloons I wanted to find out at checkout they were out of helium. They should inform customers at the front door instead of waste customers time!

I called to check on availability of a certain halloween costume. I was told they were in stock. I drove 15 miles to get to the store and was told when I arrived that that particular costume was unavailable. If I were anyone out there I would shop somewhere else.

I had never been here before. All of the paraphernalia was cool to look at, but there seemed to be little air conditioning in the store. A nice place to visit, but I dont know if Id want to work there.

Little disappointed... They had no helium! Ugh! No helium, no balloons. Everything else is very expensive so why did I go there? Waste of gas and time. Sorry I usually dont vent like this but a little frustrated. Not to mention they didnt know when it would be in.

Love this store but during heavily populated times; the store is a wreck and nothing is where it should be. Try and avoid times that you know a lot of people will be there. They never have enough restocking staff to make shopping convenient in those times.Great selection of party food supplies though. Lots of color selections.

I worked in retail and restaurants for 12 years so I am VERY forgiving and only leave bad reviews when it is really warranted. This store deserves this less than stellar review due to the employees. I love the selection and prices, but online ordering is a waste of time. The cashier looked at the paper I printed out with my order number like she had never seen an email before in her life. She didnt even attempt to pull it up and I had to go grab the products off the shelf myself. Whats the point of placing an online order if I still have to go through the store and grab my stuff, wait to be rung up and pay? They were not helpful at all. She also over charged me for the balloon bundle. Maybe more training is needed? Ill only go back if I need something that I cant find at Walmart or elsewhere.

The whole staff went beyond helping us get the costume for our nephew.

Unfriendly staff. We asked about a certain item that we were told they carried. The guy didnt seem at all interested in helping us. Told us maybe the bigger store had it. He didnt volunteer where the bigger store is or offer to check. I stood in the store and googled it and got the info myself. Walmart has the same item for 1.00 more but I was irritated by the workers demeanor. Ill pay more at Walmart as I dont want to do business at Party City.

Don’t bother coming here for a Halloween costume. Their inventory is not correct. They will tell you they have costumes in a certain size, only to wait in line and not have it at all. What a cluster. On to the next place.

This store has a male employee that is very rude and has very bad Customer service skills. I had to use the restroom while shopping and he said he would assist me, but proceeded to make me wait, even after I told him it was a emergency he kept doing his display of balloons telling me I would have to wait 😡😡🤬I am sending my complaint to their corporate office ..

I live east and try to shop east. However after my experience at your store this afternoon, itll be a while before I go back to Party City on E Washington St. First I tried to get a cart. After pulling out four carts that were messed up, I gave up and grabbed a basket. It was obvious nothing had been done to maintain the carts in quite some time. There was dirty cobwebby stringy stuff wrapped around the wheels.I spent about an hour gathering the items I needed for an upcoming shower Im hosting and then headed to the checkout. There was another customer wanting to place a balloon order. She got aggravated and just left after the two girls working behind the counter failed to even acknowledge that she was there. There appeared to be two checkouts open with one cashier just finishing with another customer. I started to walk toward her when she turned around and hollared So and so, will you come check her out. Didnt acknowledge me at all, and as far as I could see no one was coming toward the register to check me out. I just dropped the basket in front of her and told her Nevermind and that she and her co-workers really need to work on their customer service. Grrrrrr..... She was so.... rude. And the other two employees were rude to the other customer that stormed out before I did. I know that many young people are not learning manners these days. But if this were my store, Id be sure that my employees had basic manners and understood the importance of customer service. And do something about your nasty carts.

Its our closest party store, so we occasionally go for specialty items. They never quite seem to have what Im looking for, so I settle. Staff is always indifferent about customers. Its clean and pretty well stocked. Usually, though, I go elsewhere for party supplies (Target, Dollar Tree, Meijer).
