After searching for a specific vehicle for months, found a used one here online. Inquired about it with Zach and Rick and we were able to make a deal quickly over text and phone - sight unseen. Was given a fair deal and everything was explained. Wrapped up the deal with Chris a few days later and was treated with great care and an informative overview of the vehicle. Car #4 purchased from Ray Skillman. Always been a customer and will continue to be one and will always love the Chevy Equinox. Chris Curtiss and Rick (cant remember his last name) are a great team! Chris was very thorough and explained every detail of the sale and the new functions of my newer model. Rick and the finance team were super quick with dealing with the bank and drawing up the contract. It seemed like my husband and I were in and out. Although Im going to miss ole blue, Im happy with the upgrade.
Let u know? Have had some problems going to see how its handled b 4 I tell EVERYONE 2 come there!! Yes this is the back tire not such a big deal? But when was put on to fix it. Its been maybe 2 months well guess WHAT? THE NEW TIRE IS LIKE A SLICK IT FEELS LIKE ITS ALL OVER NO CONTROL OF CAR AT ALL!!?????? SOMETHING IS DIFFENTLY MESSED UP!!! I guess Ill call again tomorrow I live in Kokomo and I got the car in Indy? I WOULD HOPE SOMEONE WOULDNT MAKE SURE THE CAR WAS TOTALLY SAFE!!! BUT ITS THE SAME TIRE????? SOMETHING IS WRONG IVE ALMOST LOST IT TWICE ONE ON 69 AND THE OTHER TIME 22/35. AMD AND IF ANYONE THINKS IM CRAZY COME DRIVE IT WHEN ITS RAINING.I JUST WANT THE CARD SAFE I DONT FEEL LIKE HURTING ONE ELSE OR MYSELF AND THE CAR IS NOT SAFE!!! I looked at an 08 Buick here and it appeared to be in good shape. They had a piece of paper claiming to be the repairs done on this vehicle adding up to over $2500. All the claimed repair prices were muchly inflated. Anyway the price they wanted was $13,000.00 for this car! NO WAY, way to much for this old of a car. I then left and their salespeople hounded me trying to get me to buy this overpriced car. I finally had to say that I bought one elsewhere to be left alone!
I have always been in and out in a reasonable time . All estimated wait times have been on time . They let me know how many cars are ahead of me and how long it will be. I have not had any problems with the work I have had done on any of my Vehicles.
Have always had a great experience. My only complaint this time around is when doing financial portion nothing was broken down for us. They didnt tell us how much our trade in was or any breakdowns.

I was not pestered or pressured by anyone at Ray Skillman, either to purchase a vehicle or to change my mind about the type of vehicle I wanted. Dakota contacted me when he knew he had what I needed and he went above and beyond to make it happen in the easiest and most convenient way. I couldn’t be more pleased with the process all the way around. Dakota is awesome, knowledgeable, an excellent salesman, and a great customer ally!
Ive purchased 4 trucks here, the service dept is awful. I think Ill try a different dealership for my next purchase, so I dont have to deal with the disrespect and lack of good repair service here. I spent 2days in a row here, for 4hrs or more. They could have and should have fixed the problem on the 1st days visit🙄 ..when they finished...no one even explained what they did or what was wrong. I have 2020 Silverado less than 11kmiles. Year and half old..engine light on. I had to ask the cashier to call someone to come explain what they did and what was wrong. The cashier wasnt able to. This was a totally unprofessional and disrespectful action. A service advisor would normally come get you from waiting area upon completion and explain things. They paged me to cashier... Ive never had this happen b4. Sometimes when I come in for service...These people in the check in area are rude and arrogant. Every since Travis Cornwall(Gen. Mgr) left, my service has gone downhill. I have no confidence in my repairs or the technicians.
Thank you Ray Skillman service department. I drive an ambulance for Switz County EMS. My ambulance started blaring a warning and went to low power mode due to low coolant problem. I had a patient in back and really needed to get to his appointment in Indianapolis. You service guys jumped on it. Filled my Copland and got me in service in minutes! I can’t thank them enough. When I lived in Indy I bought my chevrolets . Always treated me great there. Thanks Again
Sales department is great.But the service department is a joke. I would only recommend them for a oil change. Youre better off taking your Chevy to a Ford or Dodge dealership to be serviced.
Came in for oil change and tire rotation. Arrived at 7:30am and was 5th in line. Was out of there before 9am. Was satisfied with the time it took. They called me to ask about changing air filter while I was waiting and advised me on why I should have it changed. They answered all of my questions with professionalism. I felt like a valued customer! Thanks!
BATE AND SWITCH!!! Emailed me 15 times to buy my car, had pictures and descriptions of what was wrong... Then, wouldnt even give me an offer b/c there was body damage!!! Bate and switch, terrible business model. Not worth your time.
I’ve always had a positive experience here with my 2016 Malibu that I purchased from them in 2015 until 10/04/2021. Took my car in because I stopped at a stop light the Friday prior to 10/4 and the dashboard and radio went off, the doors unlocked then lock themselves and the check engine light came on. Took it in at 7:30a and received a call 3 hours later explaining I need a new battery because my vehicle has 2 and the one that works with the eco function needed replaced at $300, I agreed to it. I get a call back 2 hours after that saying “oh your check engine light came on when we changed the battery. Now you need a dual battery control module due to an internal shortage. I told the lady the check engine light was on prior to bringing it in and I told her that when I dropped the car off. It was then explained that they module is on top of the battery so they had to change the first to know the module didn’t work. (makes zero sense). I go to pick up my car since I did not have an additional $450 for the module and currently have the same issue I had when I brought the car in (check engine light on, dashboard & radio goes off along with doors unlocking & relocking when pulling off from a stop light). When I went to pick my car up the young lady who helped me was nowhere to be found and my car was pulled up waiting on me to leave. I’m just out of $300 and the service provided was subpar in comparison to my experience previously with sales and service Dept. Maybe this review will get someone to call and offer assistance getting my car fixed instead of a unhappy customer who left feeling taken!

My vehicle was brought in for oil change, filter and tire rotation. No one thought to ask me if I wanted tire balance. When I left, 3 tires had a pressure of 38 psi and one tire had a psi of 34. Once I had discovered that, I had to buy air at a gas station to even all 4 tires.
My experience was great! Every person that we spoke with was so respectful and understanding!! We didnt feel pressured at all, which I really appreciated! We dealt with Kyle, Ryan, and Chris!
Thank you Alyssa! A light came on indicating there was a minor issue with my Mitsubishi Outlander Sport as I was getting on I-74 East. I pulled into the Service Bay at Ray Skillman Chevrolet and Alyssa was wonderful immediately addressing my tires and has a technician check my light. My window washing fluid light came on. Tires checked and washer fluid filled. I was back on the road in 15 minutes. Thank you so much.

I feel this experience was not anywhere close to the past experiences. I bought my truck from there and religiously brought it there for service. Recently had some electrical issues and not sure I was given all of the honest information about the problem. Would definitely like to speak to someone in management.

My husband I received stellar customer service from Fawn, Rick Ford, Sean Klumpp, Derick and Chris. We went in to check out a Colorado that we had seen on CARS.com. Fawn was extremely helpful and gave us all the information we needed prior to our visit. Upon arriving we were met with kindness and professionalism. We did not feel pressured at all to buy and they did everything they could to make this work for us. We went home and ran some numbers. I called Sean the next morning and told him we wanted to move forward with the purchase. We went to the dealership that afternoon and bought the truck. They had it ready for us and Chris was extremely helpful in getting us acquainted with all the bells and whistles of our new vehicle.We have been looking for about a month for a Colorado. Other dealerships were not nearly as customer focused. They out did the rest by far.We would highly recommend anyone wanting to buy a new or used car to visit this location.

Had a great car buying experience with the folks at this dealership! Took me about a month of test driving and questions/research to decide on what SUV I wanted, but throughout the process they were happy to help by answering my questions without any pressure for a sale. Plus after the sale they spent a considerable amount of time setting me up with the technology and vehicle as a whole to ensure I was fully comfortable before leaving the lot. The service didn’t end there as it’s been two weeks since purchase and both times I’ve called with questions they have been quick to get back to me and answer my questions. I’ll definitely be back for my next Chevy purchase!

I brought my car here for service, we weren’t completely sure what was going on but ended up being brakes with a seized caliper. they did an amazing job, I had dropped it off overnight on Sunday using their drop box and had it ready to go by Tuesday (they also were waiting on me for half a day for a part).I also had to return same day for an alignment and they had me in & out within a few hours!My service adviser was Jay, he was always very polite with me and my husband.I will be returning for any service I need done on my Chevy vehicles!+ trying to have a windshield replaced by them soon! Waiting for a call back. Will update review 😊

Covid makes this a useless place to find new cars. Used cars are selling for way higher amounts than they should be to compensate the loss. Not a good experience.
I wish I could tell you what happened but Im not completely sure. My husband and I went in to lease a car. We dont have good credit and my husband had been temp hopping after he was majorly injured on a job a year ago. They sold us a beautiful Buick Verano and we loved it, signed papers and left. We turned in a paystub and were waiting for a paperwork to transfer the plates. He was offered a full time job out of town and took it and was exposed to Covid his first day. They called wanting more payslips and ended up taking the car. Now we are unsure if he is going to be able to work anywhere. I offered them paystub from my job Ive had for a year at first they said that would work but after I got one they said it wouldnt and he needed paystubs or a cosigner. So after 3 weeks they took a car we thought we had signed for and was good to go.Never resolved. Ended up paying in full for a car. They missed out. Plan on buying another car and making payments this spring. Probably will do more thorough research before choosing a place this time.

Was able to replace part under extended warranty. However, i had to insist i had 125k mike warranty. Since i purchased the truck there, you guys should know that. If i had not repeatedly insisted that i had ext warranty, i would have had to pay full price not impressed with customer service without the customer service.

SEE UPDATE BELOW4 stars. Couldve been 5. The car buying experience was perfectly fine. Communicated back and forth quickly from salesman to finance manager to me. Afterwards, the communication was lackluster at best. Completely ignored text message and said they would call back and didnt. Theyre also supposed to fix some paint on the truck I bought. I will update review based on that experience.Update- The We Owe part of the contract stated that they would correct all the scratches and blemishes on the $40k truck I bought. Dropped it off to get it done. Upon picking it up, I, and the 2 gentleman that gave my the keys noticed 1 spot had been corrected. They apologized and we set up a 2nd appointment. Upon picking the truck up this time, I noticed that the truck wasnt even washed!! How could you possibly tell where the scratches and blemishes are if it isnt clean? I didnt even say anything! I got in my truck and left. The very few areas that were fixed was done with touch up paint. Looks worse than before.The only reason its 2 stars is because of the finance gentleman. He was polite and personable. Also, I like the truck I bought. Just need to own up to their part of the deal.Looks like I might be stuck paying Zeibart or someone else to fix it for me. Maybe...

It was my day off and I was at miles to have my next oil change, so I went in to get it serviced. It was pretty quick and very easy. I looked at the new cars and the plug-in cars too. Had a cup of hot chocolate and then they called my name to pick up my Equinox.
Jae Vaught worked tirelessly to get our vehicle repaired and the information filed with the warranty company. great job.
I purchased my Equinox there in 2013 and have taken it in a few times for service. This last time I went in Jan 2021 I needed a battery. I didn’t have an appointment but they said it’s no problem. Their waiting area is large enough to be able to keep your distance from others and I was able to work using my laptop. They swapped out my battery and even fixed a recall that I wasn’t even aware of. They did all of that in 1 hour and they did it cheaper than the mobile battery companies. I would highly recommend going here for a new/used car and/or service.

Not good had tires removed cleaned and sealed. Now a warning message shows problem with tire sensor and now I have to pay 115.00 to fix.
