Did not realize how west this was; its in Traders Point area. The store is really nice and so is the staff. I appreciate how kind and attentive they were to us while in the store. There are so many options of chocolate for anyone who likes chocolate. Found out that they can do custom requests like a cake shop. They have so many custom molds its astonishing. There is easy parking(weird back set up though) the store offers military discount and has molds for army and marines!!! Had a blast and cant wait to go back for more chocolate!

I called this afternoon to see if they had candy apples (not a popular thing in March) and they offered to go to the grocery store and make apples for me so that I could pick up at 5pm. They delivered! The customer service was exceptional and the candy apples were spot on. We celebrated my son getting his braces off today.

We took our Girl Scout troop here for a tour, and they voted it best outing of the year! They learned so much... and our tour guide was so kind, patient, and understanding while dealing with 9 sugared up girls. They all plan to come back again. It was just as good as I remember when I was a girl scout back in.... ya know the good ol days :)

The only place I will buy chocolate from! A delicious and wonderful selection of chocolates. Friendly staff. I HIGHLY recommend them! Will definitely be returning!(I had to sneak a pic before I ate through the box!)

I wasn’t at the store location but my son brought me some chocolate - probably from the airport lol. II is absolutely delicious! Smooth and rich. My favorite is the dark chocolate but the milk and white chocolate is just as good!

She offered to build a box of truffles around the things that I told her that he liked. Delicious treats!

Happened upon this place after eating at Teds Montana Grill next door over the weekend. We went in just to see what they had oh man...it was amazing. The chocolate was delicious, the prices werent outrageous, and the lady behind the counter was super friendly. The chocolate covered espresso beans were out of this world. Definitely stop in sometime and get some amazing chocolate.

Also, their peanut butter cups are the best I have ever had, particularly the dark chocolate ones. Yes, you can get a cup of hot cocoa here made fresh from their milk, white, or dark chocolate. You can place orders, like I did for a baby shower, or you can pick items from around the shop.

The truffles are my weakness and are the best I’ve ever had. The quality of product and the care that goes into making it and packing it up is next level. I can never go back to traditional chocolate now. Specifically the chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day this year were the BEST I’ve ever had. Schakolad is top notch and addicting!

My better half loves this place, and Im pretty fond of it too. Great truffles and fudge, some interesting ideas for chocolate sculptures, and they do some on-site (catering) business too. Go in, poke around, get a couple dozen truffles for $20. You wont regret it. I highly recommend the key lime truffles.

Fabulous Chocolate - Super friendly employees and everything I have ever gotten here is Delicious. The hot chocolate is the best thing since sliced bread! They use the chocolate from the fountains and can make a variety of different flavors. Once you have it, your hooked! :)

I’m a fan now! The owners were wonderful and I apologize for forgetting their names. I’ve been sneaking around getting my husbands 40th birthday together. So, I put a cigar bar together and needed chocolates to pair with the bourbon and cigars. His wife and I totally had no idea what to be getting. They totally hooked me up and not a crumb was left. Ah the sweet sweet smell of chocolate! This place has and does it all. Whether I am stopping in with one of my little guys for a quick piece of chocolate....placing an order as a business to give to my patients....grabbing some gelato....or getting a wine bottle dipped in chocolate for a great experience....each one has quality and service that I can stop in here and expect each time. Its a regional business with a local twist, since this location is individually owned by a family. Extremely passionate about what they do and helpful through the process! Definitely stop in here!

Fabulous. The best hot chocolate outside of Disney World. They heat up some milk and take melted chocolate from their chocolate making machine in large quantities. They stir that into the milk and youre drinking fresh liquid chocolate all the way home.

What a fun place to find. Good prices. Staff chatted and offered a sample. She told me about special deals coming up so I knew when to go back.

Always cool to support a regional business thats not the same as some chain. Go in there and check it out enjoy what they have and make it a once in awhile type of treat for you or you and your children well worth the stop! Certainly expensive but then again its all made on site local employees local business.

A hidden gem that many locals dont seem to know about! If youre in the Traders Point area, make a point to stop in, even if its just for the free smells (but I doubt youll leave empty-handed). They add new items, rotate things seasonally, and have daily specials. They even offer ice cream, hot chocolate and coffee.This is a great place to buy unique gifts for family, friends or co-workers. You can have gifts created with your company logo, or simply buy themed sets such as golf, nursing, teaching, etc. They sell chocolate chess boards, footballs, pianos.... the options are simply incredible!There are a few tables and chairs outside so in the warmer months this is a unique place to get a great cup of coffee or enjoy your purchases with a friend!

We were here from out of town, and let me tell you what WOW. The variety alone is impressive. The Smores cookie was amazing! Homemade marshmallow, graham cracker, caramel and milk chocolate mmmm it was good. My wife got some of the dark chocolate covered espresso beans, I thought she was going to eat the whole bag before we left the parking lot. Would highly recommend.

This is for the Schakolad Chocolate Factory at Perry Crossing in Plainfield.Most amazing hot chocolate and truffles ever!!! My wife and I were waiting for our movie to start at the cinema and we were early, so we went looking for some hot chocolate. Some police that were foot patrolling told us to just cross the street and go to Schakolad. I figured they would know, so we went and saw the most beautiful chocolate mixing machine, along with an amazing assortment of chocolates, but we didnt think they did hot chocolate. We smiled and started to head out when the lady asked if she could help us and I politely said we were just looking for some hot chocolate. She said, of course we have hot chocolate and pointed me to the cocoa bar. We almost missed the most amazing hot chocolate that Ive ever tasted. This isnt some powdered Hersheys mix...this is the real deal. She put a full scoop of milk chocolate that was flowing from the mixer into a cup, added some hot water and milk and frothed it up, checking the temp with a hot gun to make sure it was just right. OMG!!! I spent 6 years in Italy, 3 years in Germany and never, have I ever tasted such a chocolate delight as I did that day. My wife was flabbergasted by the amazingly rich taste...and the personal touch. We already drank it by the time we got to the cashier...it was that good and perfectly heated. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP...you will be doing yourself an injustice. Schakolad is World Class!!!
