Good place to try if you generally like bubble tea. Taste is decent, but its definitely overpriced for basic bubble tea. Adding regular boba is $1.00 extra to a baseline $6 drink. They do have a LOT of options for toppings and flavors. It can also be very, very busy at popular times with a long wait - but the employees are very kind and work efficiently.

UPDATE... After several more visits, I am sold on this tea shop. The variety of tea drinks means the is something for just about everyone who enjoys bubble tea, or fruity tea mixes. They are usually busy, but also pretty efficient with mixing and preparing orders.The jury is still out on my experience. Never having visited, I wasnt sure what to expect.... It was crowded, but the wait to order and then pick up the tea was fairly quick. The ordering process was automated through touch screens... it was helpful to have looked at the menu prior to arrival and ordering. We got Peach milk tea with regular bubbles and a peach green tea with strawberry bubbles and green macha foam. Both beverages were good. I will have to come back for further evaluation. Oh, my daughter noticed that the music in the store was a bit too loud. 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely love this place, their drinks are just amazing. My favorite is the brown sugar bubble tea... you won’t regret that choice!!! I also really like their desserts, again so good! I also don’t mind ordering in the store as they have kiosk to order from. You can also order online as well!Pro tip: get their drink cards for a frequent customer

The best! Friendliest staff, amazing selection, and the taste cannot be beat! There is often a long line, but everything is done via vending kiosks so it moves very quickly! Our absolute favorite place to go! A++++

Very refreshing. Orders are made at a kiosk and it was very efficient. I had the jasmine green tea with boba and my kids had various slushies. Prices are a little more than Im used to paying for boba other places.

Clean, delicious. Only wish they were a bit quicker. If you want a waffle expect an additional 10 mins after your drink. (Drink orders are quick)

It took one sip for me to start planning my second drink. Its that good. The ordering kiosks make it easy to order and customize your drink. I think it also keeps the lines moving which is good because it was quite busy on one of my visits. My only complaint is the pricing. It is a little expensive compared to other bubble tea shops Ive visited. But they do have a lot of options (it was my first chance to try cheese foam), quality drinks, and fast service. Ill definitely be going back.

Love this place. Anytime we go there is a line but it moves quickly. You can order ahead on their website. Staff is friendly! Looks like they are adding more outside seating which will be awesome! Also try the meet noodles a few doors down.

I have been here once in Fall 2019 and it was fine, and I am a regular at the Tsaocaa in West Lafayette. I knew before coming here that the menu selection would be different from the West Lafayette location since they have different owners, so I checked the menu/prices beforehand, but the Tsaocaa Indy website doesnt reflect the current menu. Most of the prices have been marked up significantly from what the online menu says, and they no longer have many of the drink and size options, so just be aware of that.As far as specifics on my experience ordering- it was very hot and sunny today (95F/34C) so I wasnt wanting something heavy like a milk tea, so I ordered the 700mL Ruby Black tea w/Cream Cheese foam and popping boba. When my drink came out it was something completely different than I ordered (and completely different from what the sticker says, picture attached). They gave me a heavy milk tea with both red bean and popping boba, and no foam. I think they accidentally made two of a milk tea drink with red bean that someone else got, and just served me that, and added the boba, thinking I wouldnt know better.The store was very crowded, and I was in a hurry to leave so I wasnt crowding around, so I didnt realize until I got in the car that my drink was completely wrong. The baristas didnt seem to be in a good mood, and it was too crowded to be able to come back and ask them to remake it, so I was left with a pricy drink that wasnt what I wanted. When I was ordering I didnt mind the upcharged price, since this is one of the only boba places in the area, however for $8 I want my drink to come with good service and to be made with care.I understand that mistakes happen, I worked at a Starbucks with a lot of drink customizations until last year myself, but I would definitely notice when a drink is a completely different color + has completely different add-ins than the sticker says when I go to call out the order... Overall I was disappointed with my experience here and the care they had for orders, especially compared to how good my experiences have been at Tsaocaa in West Lafayette for a lot lower price ($6 for the exact same drink, with most drinks $5 or less))

Service was fast and super easy to order, only thing I would say is when you use your card there is not swipe option just chip. My card unfortunately has no chip so I had to use Apple Pay. But it was my first time there and it was great! Definitely going again!

I had the caramel bubble milk black tea with dark brown sugar with extra brown sugar jelly added along with the passion fruit pineapple green tea that I also had added mango star jelly pineapple jelly and passion fruit popping boa. I will say if you can get there early they open up at 11:00 the place is packed it took me over an hour to get my drinks and the prices are totally different whats on the website cuz Im still trying to figure out how did I spend $20 for two drinks🤔 other than that I will say I definitely will be back my goal is to try everything on their menu.

I really enjoy the teas there. My aunt took me there with her daughter to try it out since I never tried boba tea. I’m not a cheese person but the peach tea is super delicious. When I got home and gave some to my mom she fell in love and got herself own tea from there later that day.

I really like this boba place! Its definitely what Im used to having in Atlanta where Im living..the quality is really great and I think its the best in Indy as well as ChaTime. I also like that they have the konjac boba which is interesting.

Tsaocaa is definitely one of the most popular boba spots in Indy, and even though their drinks do look pretty and the inside of the store is clean and nice, I consistently find myself not fully satisfied with my drink because it is so expensive. The drinks definitely arent bad by any means, theyre just not worth $7-8. Even some basic fruit teas and milk teas are $6-7 before adding toppings or cheese foam, and that is quite the sum. The drinks are good, but in my opinion not good enough to warrant the high price. In addition, there have been many times when I ordered boba but the boba was old/stale. Overall, its a good place to try or to get boba from occasionally, but not the best go-to boba spot due to its lack of affordability as well as the relatively limited menu.

Great service and food despite some very rude customers

Originally went in for the Thai Rolled Ice Cream, but they didn’t have it. So I got the Carmel Bubble Milk Tea w/ Oreo and Foam and it was very good!! Loved the taste of the foam and milk tea, but didn’t really taste any Oreos.

AMAZING! If you like milk tea (bubble tea, boba, whatever you like to call it) or classic teas. Do yourself a favor and go here. Slushies are amazing too. Ive had about 10 different teas and never had a bad drink. If you like noodles, try their sister location Meet Noodle in the same plaza.

The waitress with the purple pony hair is the WORST waitress I’ve ever met. 👎🏻👎🏻I ordered a milk tea without ice, when the order is ready I found there’s ice inside. I checked with the girl and she start helping me get rid of those ice . As I just have a baby delivered recently and not comfortable with very icy drink. Meanwhile, the waitress with the hat and the purple pony hair seemed very unhappy, she glanced me and talking to another waitress in Chinese :“Will she die with the ice?” original word: 喝点冰会死么。I don’t know whether she thought I couldn’t understand Chinese or she purposely said that.That’s extremely VICIOUS.I don’t know why Tsaocaa can have someone like her working there. I’ll never go there again.

Tsaocaa for my family is a must visit if we are in the area! Selection great, quality better, staff is the best. Dont be surprised if there is a line because this place stays busy but it is worth the wait.

Just discover another cool boba place to hang out during summer and there’s a lot of options of drinks/desserts. You get to pick 2 toppings when you order ice cream rolls. They didn’t have a lot of tables as the place is relatively small. It’s still a cute place though. Definitely worth a visit!

Pricy for one bubble tara with green tea with one item cheese foam added for $8.29. It needed more sweetness afterward cause they added ice so by the time you drink halfway it just not a sweet taste. Some of their drinks I try it pretty good but not my average place to get a bubble tea drink.

This place is my favorite tea shop in Indy. Their fruit teas are incredible! I love their More than see you (grapefruit) and colorful fruits ruby teas. They use fresh cut fruit to flavor the tea with just the right level of sweetness. Also, If you haven’t yet, try the French coffee pudding. It’s texture is amazing and the flavor is 👌🏼

Note on door said to order online and pick up at the noodle shop down the way, so I typed in “tsaocaa order online” into google and I proceeded to put in my order. After waiting for an extended period of time an employee came up to me and asked to see the order confirmation. I showed her, she said she was going to make it because it didn’t show up on their order list. She comes back with a man who asks to see the order confirmation as well. He points to a tiny tiny part of the email where it says “pick up at _____ Chicago, IL” and then they both walk away laughing. They proceed to tell the rest of the staff who start laughing as well. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Nowhere on the website did it say “Chicago”, and I keep my location services on so the fact it sent my pickup order to the original shop baffles me. I even replicated putting in my order to make sure it wasn’t a fault on my end. I call the place in chicago and the lady who answers says she’ll have to talk to the manager to refund the order, we’ll see if that happens. All in all I could’ve placed a duplicate order and had no problem paying again, but the fact that I was laughed at and then walked away from was so unbelievably embarrassing that I didn’t want to be in there any longer.

They have sheet ice and shaved ice. In store, they offer games and books while you wait for the order or just hang out with your friends. The milk tea and bubble tea taste a bit different from the others Ive had but not too bad. I love the cups they use, its reusable and not those cheap plastic cups that can break easily.

I have been on a hunt for a good bubble tea place in Indy and I am glad I came across Tsaocaa. They have amazing bubble tea and rolled ice cream. I loved the ambiance and service. I found my bubble tea paradise!

They have a wide variety of teas, add-ins and rolled ice cream. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend the rose milk tea - its carefully balanced and delicate. Visiting is a favorite family treat.

A delicious and unique selection of teas and toppings, down-to-earth staff, and a cun selection of simple board games to play while you wait and drink. I think the selection process might be difficult for those who are relatively new to tea houses like these though, so maybe there could be a selection guide for customers or a clear option for samples? I personally recommend the rose milk tea.

Love that you can ask for your preferred level of sweetness and ice! But the girl working the counter seemed like she was not happy about being there... Very brusque and seemed very annoyed at me bc I asked if they had taro tea (which wasnt on the menu, but I had read another review here saying it was available)... Still, service was good and the cups were cute!

We used to love this place - we’d go 2-4 times a week all the time. Last summer it was excellent. However, both the customer service and quality of the drink have dropped slowly and steadily over the last few months, to the point where we just don’t enjoy it anymore.These days, the boba (if they even have them) are often overcooked and don’t taste very good. The drinks aren’t made very well either. It feels like they’ve been rushed or given very little care.

Delicious! They have so many teas to choose from. I tried a strawberry cheese fruit tea with crystal pearls. The foam tastes like a sweet cream cheese which I thought mixed great with the strawberry (my friend wasnt quite as much of a fan), and the pearls were sweet and delightfully chewy. I also ordered the Hong Kong style egg waffle which was amazing, like the best possible mix of bubble wrap and sweet waffle. I ordered one to go to take home to the fiance, and the woman that helped me was super nice. She said she wasnt sure how well it would travel and it might get soggy, so she made it extra crispy. It worked, by the way. Already planning to go back!

This place has the best milk tea Ive tried! Its sweet and milky without sacrificing the bold, classic flavor of black tea. The interior is also super chic and modern, so I love coming here for hanging out with friends and/or studying. Tsaocaa has a very chill and friendly environment. Definitely come check it out.

Such a great atmosphere here. Cannot say enough about the Ice Grapefruit drink (More than see you). I would drive a very long distance to get it. Bubble and boba teas are great. Have yet to try the rolled ice cream but its just a matter of time.

I’ve been to other Tsaocaa’s across the US and this one is pretty awful. Probably the worst Jasmine milk tea I’ve ever had. It didn’t even taste like Jasmine! The boba was soft but bland. Would not come back.

This is a fun place to go to try something new. There are boardgame on a shelf for everyones use. The location offers a fun yet semi quiet place to be. The drinks are exciting to try.

Tea was luke warm, and ramen tasted off. definitely not impressed. With the surplus of similar restaurants in the area you’re much better off having dinner else where.

Really comfortable and chill to hang out, drink or eat, or just study and relax there. Their food and drinks are always good and the customer service is really good.
