I was looking for some ice cream that was close to work so I hit up Google and found Lift Off. After reading the reviews I knew I had to check them out. My co workers and I went over to celebrate one of their birthdays. The staff greeted us and asked if we had been in before and explained things to us. After looking at the different flavors I decided on canary (strawberry cheesecake) and power plant (praline pecan). Wowza, this is some good ice cream. Some days ice cream bothers my stomach a little, Im not lactose intolerant...yet but I had no problems. I will definitely be going back.

Liftoff is my new favorite ice cream shop in Indy!! So many flavors and so many choices! Cant wait to come back to try their other flavors!

Funny little hole in the wall, aviation themed ice cream shop. While Im not sure what planned and ice cream have in common, the options were widely varied, very punny (with the aviation theme), and they had tables that were shaped like wings! Pretty sweet overall.

Fantastic ice-cream flavors! Vegan options are great, friendly staff, I got the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate flavors. I didnt love cheesecake flavor, but chocolate one was smooth and rich. I love the fact that their ice-cream wasnt too sweet and perfectly balanced! Highly recommend this!

The ice cream was really good and the atmosphere was interesting. Its a small place and very busy when I visited. I think this may have surprised the staff as they were visibly frustrated, I they were holding it together better than I would have. The crowd was pleasant and relaxed. Ill definitely go back

Totally cool! Awesome concept and we love the avaition themed! The owner is extremely nice and great guy for all he does in the community, youth, and avaition. Be sure to ask for him or have a quick conversation and learn what all he does! We truly cares for the youth and the community! Who wouldn’t like someone who does all of that! Amazingly cute little ice cream shop. A huge variety of flavors to choose from and great advice for choice of drink. Sweet employee named Grace who did an amazing job with the milkshake and helping us choose flavors. Overall, very nice and enjoyable experience.

Definitely earned their wings!!! What isnt to like? From first entry, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff. Staff asked if we were new, and when we confirmed it, provided us with decent information about the menu. Throughout our trip, they acted extremely kind, engaged us in friendly conversation, and really seemed to care about the customer. Now when it comes to the food, I couldnt resist sneaking a taste before we left, and it was an explosion of flavor. It was hard to wait until we got back to the car to eat. We sat there devouring this amazingly delicious with a generous amount of mix ins. My favorite flavor was canary. The cookie dough was filled with bites of cookie dough in almost every lick. The oreo actually had whole oreos mixed in. It was all delicious. We will definitely be back. We may have found a new regular ice cream shop to visit.

Tiny lobby but big flavor! This is not your normal ice cream shop: This is the real deal ice cream that is excellent all on its own. Were already planning to come back!

Ice cream and service were good. The triple chocolate had very good flavor and was not over powering.

We all got shakes, yet they were very very heavy on the milk side. We took in the car and just were not good.The ice cream may be just fine but would not suggest for shakes.

Lift Off has some of the best ice cream in the city, hands-down. Id stack them against BRICS, Graeters, Handels, you name it-- their ice cream is phenomenal. While my wife has ran the gamut of their flavors and given rave reviews each time, I personally find it difficult to come off the cookies & cream they offer-- its an Oreo lovers dream! Stop in and cool off here this summer, you wont regret it!

He also teaches the students how to not only Master how to fly the plane but also how to Master Life Skills that they need to use Daily! What an Awesome way to gibe back to your Community! Smooth, creamy, and amazingly refreshing!! We got the banana, the toffee, and the blood orange sorbet and oh my goodness!!! There are more flavors in the store than on the website so check it out!

Ice cream was tasty & at a reasonable price, but this place is seriously under staffed. Stopped by today and waiting 35 minutes for two scoops of ice cream and they still got my order wrong. The girl taking the orders was super sweet and you could tell she was stress due to being so busy.

Exactly what we needed in the neighborhood! This is a cute little ice cream shop with a great selection of ice cream, toppings and shakes. Also, very reasonably priced. They offer kid sized scoops. My 15 month old finally got her own scoop!

We had a great time. The entire place is aviation themed. All of the flat its were named after aviation terms and the tables were even shaped like wings. The ice cream was hand dipped by a vary polite employee. I tasted great on a hot day. We will definitely be back!
