Ive been taking my shoes to Gino for repair and maintenance for years. If you have a pointed toe pumps or boots, he is the guy to see. He does a great job, has fair pricing and a quick turnaround time. He takes the time to speak to you personally and remembers my name when I come in. Paid $17 to have a birkenstock buckle sewed back on sandal and tread broke first time I wore them. Tread was like I use in my home machine. Ripped off! Took to Rons and for $6.50 got repaired correctly.

Hakky Shoe Repair has done a good job resoling our shoes, restaining them and making them look like new for over 10 years.! We have NEVER been disappointed. He even resoled my favorite slippers for me. Ha!

I took my favorite every-day brown leather slip-on boots in to get repaired. Johnston & Murphy wont repair the sole on them, so I needed to find a place that could resole them, and touch up the scuff marks on the toes. I couldnt be happier with the work. They look like they came straight out of the box. Im planning on taking my wingtips in to have them resoled and touched up as well. Its super affordable, a one week turnaround and fantastic customer service as well.All around great experience and I will definitely be returning soon.

I took my worn out Danner boots to Gino for an original resole. This was my first pair that I ever had resoled by anyone. The price was very competitive with 3 other places I checked and they honored the online coupon that I printed out. After 2 weeks of use I had a minor issue that I felt needed attention. I took them to Gino and he with NO hesitation fixed the issue and went above and beyond to make me happy. This issue was no fault of either of us but a bonding agent issue, but Gino fixed them the same day in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend Hakky shoe repair for standing behind their quality work and how polite they are.I was in no way compensated or even asked to post any review, but they deserve all 5 stars.

I had pair of boots whose tongues would slide to the side. He said he could stitch the tongue in place on one side. The stitch is perfectly matched to the existing stitches. You cant even see the new stitches.This is excellent work and I highly recommend it to anyone needing work done on their footwear.

My experience with Hakky was not good. We took my husbands dress shoes to hakky for a buckle repair. He stated he couldnt repair the problem and was unsure how the buckle was placed on the shoe. My husband had to explain it to him. We then asked if he knew of any other resolution to repair the shoe or another shoe repair that could possibly take a look at the shoe or repair it. He stated NO. My husband ended up taking the shoe to Rons shoe repair. My husband explained what happened at Hakkys and the man at Rons said Hakkys sends people over here when he cant repair the problem. I couldnt understand why Hakkys didnt recommend Rons. He just flat out said they couldnt be fixed. Hakkys will probably never get our business again.

My interaction with the (person I believe was the) manager of this location was easily the worst interaction I have ever had in retail. One simple question on my part lead to essentially several minutes of this man talking down to me. I may not look like his typical customer, but I desperately need a place to regularly re-sole my boots. The search continues.

I entered the shop to find an employee wrapping up a transaction with a customer. We were the only ones in the store. The customer proceeded to talk at him for over ten minutes and not once was I acknowledged, nor did he ever attempt to disengage with her.When she finally left, he was short and patronizing with me, ultimately expressing disinterest in resoling my Goodyear-welted boots. He rolled his eyes when I asked if he could do a welted resole with a basic rubber lugged sole and instead told me I should just get cheap glued halfsoles over the aging leather soles. He said my very standard request would ruin the balance of the shoes. He had not even seen my shoes, by the way, as I was only trying to gather information and find a business that would do quality work.Add to that this place carries subpar brands of most showcase products and you have a shoe repair shop to avoid.
