I was so happy and satisfied with the overall outcome of their work. I went to this beauty shop because I wanted their beautician and stylist to turn my style into a new one. There were things on boxes everywhere on the floor and it was very unorganized and scattered. Pretty low quality not only on the layout and the materials they carried in the store but the fact that they literally just had like moving boxes filled with things and then that’s where they would direct me to if I ask them for like nails are lashes they were just in boxes all over the floor it was kind of weird

I’ve been here once and my first experience was pleasant but this evening I had the opposite of a pleasant experience. I called today at 6:53pm to inquire if they carried some products I was looking for. First woman picked up my call and I asked her if they carried the first two products that I was looking for. She said they did. I asked her the price. She seemed unsure and gave the phone to another woman. The other woman asked me what I was looking for. I told her the first two products and asked for the prices. She seemed exasperated with me, but she told me. I then inquired about the other two items to see if they carried those as well. She told me to hold on. A few seconds later she told me “I would have to come down there and look through the aisles for what I was looking for because they (meaning both women ) were helping a customer.” I told her I wouldn’t be doing that because if they don’t have all the items that I was looking for then it would be a waste of time to come down there. The woman then thanked me and told me to have a great night. Hmmm, so I guess helping potential customers isn’t of importance . I don’t know who these women were, but they definitely didn’t seem like the owner . Straight unprofessional. It’s sad because I would like to support black owned businesses, but when the customer service is bad I rather spend my money somewhere else. Get it together my people smh.

Do not come here... I purchased a wig here and was told by the salesperson that it was 16, I voiced my concerns that it looked shorter than that but, was reassured that it was in fact 16.The package did not display the length either so, I trusted her. When I was ready to install the wig, I removed it from the package and it is 12. I did not try the wig on so, I contacted the store to let them know how I was misled and the woman on the phone simply stated that they do not give refunds for hair. She was not rude or anything however, she did not try to compromise for something that I did not pay for. I am out $170.00 and they could care less. Never again.

Came in yesterday looking for men hair products . Great customer service... When I couldn’t find a specific product she offered me an alternative which turned out to be way better ! Asked the lady with blonde hair a few questions and you would think she would’ve gotten irritated or bothered but she was very patient and willing to help me . The girl with red braids was helpful as well . I would definitely come back to this location and recommend it to everyone.

I completely adore this store. I always call before I arrive to make sure they have what I need and even before they leave the counter to double check, Ashley, in particular knew exactly what product I was referring to. I first called the very large beauty supply store up the street on Imperial Hwy. and Crenshaw Blvd. (C&J), and they didnt have the product in stock. I was so pleased and shocked to know that The Girl Cave had the item, especially seeing as the store is smaller in size. Very professional, polite, and familiar with most store products! I would highly recommend!! Keep up the great service Queens!!

I absolutely am in love with this beauty supply!! Always great customer service and they have knowledge of the products. And if its something they dont have, they will try to order out for you. That doesnt happen often. The store is clean and appealing, so thou dont mind spending time in there. If you havent been, you need to!! Stop on by!!

I’ve shopped there on many different occasions. Loved that they were black owned & very helpful.... However today I’m forced to change my once 5 star rating down to a 3, due to the fact I feel they are so unprofessional.... I called today at 1:54 and asked what time where they closing today? The lady replied 4 pm.... I arrived “LITERALLY” 17 minuets after & they are closed. Gate locked open sign turned off.... how are u closed at 2:08 pm when I just called & was told they are opened until 4! I drove 30 minuets to support a black own business.... this is why “we” rather go to the Korean’s!I always have been willing to support my own people.... but this is unacceptable. You don’t appreciate my money then I can spend it somewhere else!

I wouldn’t buy in bulk at this store. They don’t really advertise well that there is a no return policy. So I would buy maybe a little and then go back for more if you like what you get because if not your stuck with the hair 👎🏾if your not sure how many packs you need or which color you are, find out before you go.Other than that they are professional and offer good advice on what you should be putting on your hair. They are also the only store on Crenshaw and century that still sell Bobbi boss hair.

I just learned about this store last month and Ive been there twice already. Great customer service and a great selection. They also offer non-hair products created by black people. I have and will continue to reccomend this store. I must take a minute to respond to the lady who left a negative review and stated thats why we go to the Korean shops. That makes me very sad to see that. If you go to a black owned business and dont get the service you desire try another Black owned business. We are always willing to give other ethnic groups thousands of chance, but when it comes to us we are 1 and done. We spend so much time supporting people who come to our area, but dont hire us, do see into our communities, dont respect us, but make money off of us....Lets stop being so quick to write each other off.....other cultures under value us enough..they dont need our help to under value us too.

During the cov 19 pandemic I visited this place . Standing in line 6 ft apart my son and I where asked what were we here for . We told the young lady we were just here for a Durag . She told us to come in, prior to us she asked the girl I front of us the same question and told her to give her a minute . After allowing us in I asked her a question about nail brushes but answered with a lot of attitude and dismissed my questions because the girl in front is us made a complain about her letting us walk in first . She told me I needed to stand In line WHICH I DID SHE WELCOMED US IN CLEARLY . After voicing that she continue to nicely help the young lady who complained and answered just one of my questions with an atttitude but continued to help the other girl, Not sure if it WAS BECAUSE I WASNT BLACK ????

I love this place as a local beauty supply store! The prices are amazing and you can find almost anything at the most affordable bargain. I braid hair so I personally love that they sell $1 hair accessories that arent overpriced like some other places. They also have a wide variety of wigs on sale and its always a great idea to stop by and check out whats out on display. You never know when you may stumble across your next look 😉. Every time I walk in, Im met with a smile and very eager to help attitudes. One time I stayed in there for 2 hours trying to decide on what wigs to get and the ladies still treated me with cheer and helped me until I was ready to make my purchase. It feels like a very friendly and loving atmosphere, thats why I always go back!

I always go to the one on Crenshaw and Imperial great service!!! This location I’m in shock... every time I come they are closed before 830 and now as I’m pulling up the young lady walks out and leaves a “be back in 5 sign”... ok that’s fine I’ll wait... 8 mins later she comes back and then turns the lights off... so I’m like ummm... 5 mins later while I’m sitting out here looking for another beauty that may be open she turns the lights back on but yet the doors is still locked and the sign up.... now me and 2 other people have walked to the door and she says they are closed... when clearly the sign and the internet say 830... HORRIBLE SERVICE

Great store but they are unprofessional. Went andshe just sat at the cash register on her phone, heard her whole conversation, she didn’t even help me find a product I was looking for.I know if I take personal calls at work while I’m on the clock i’d be fired, that’s what breaks are for. It’s just unprofessional not something to do while there are customers in the store, I wasn’t the only one in the store either there were other customers before I got there.
