The store is pretty damn big. And had a great selection on braiding hair. And all other items. Went in for honey brown but instead came back out with blue LOL. And now I have blue braids.

Horrible, I drove an hr out here and that’s their wig section is closed at 5:15pm ! Definitely unprofessional if you have someone who is there to do business with you then help that customer out instead of saying it’s closed when you guys are still open for 45 minutes. I will never go here again. The Hispanic guy who works on their was rude and did not care. I will never buy from them at all. If you guys are losing early update your stores hour so people driving from a far distance did not just waste their time.... horrible.

Came 20 mins to this store. I had already purchased hair here. Google says they close at 7:30. Door says 6pm but they close earlier with no remorse. Completely unprofessional will never waste my time or money here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My mom need assistance and they were attentive and very helpful. They have a huge variety of items to choose from. One of the largest beauty supply stores in the area. Not all the staff is knowledgeable but they were able to get someone else who was more familiar with the products to assist us.

This is a great place to get all your hair care needs. They sell everything you could possible need for your hair. They have all types of human hair for weaves, braids, etc. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the prices are fair. Theyve got something for all price ranges.

Okay so I visit this establishment for the first time yesterday and let me tell ya this place is HUGE. They have wigs GALORE they have a wide range of weave hair, drawstring ponytails all kinds and all your beauty supply needs. Youd be surprised. I think this is going to be my new beauty supply location. I mean it is in the hood just so you know. But overall yea I think so far so good. After all this was my first visit so more reviews will follow the more I frequent this place.

Literally have every product! From different shampoos, conditioners, and hair gel brands. The employees customer service is not the best or the worst.

They ALWAYS have what I need get my hair and my daughters hair hooked up the right way. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful plus theyre easy to understand, meaning English is well spoken here 😉. Theyll hold your bags from other stores with a numbered clip which makes it easier to shop. Did I mention baskets with wheels? Yass! No need to carry a heavy basket if youre there to buy lots of products. Hair care, wigs and even jewelery! This is THE best in the area.

Huge store with lots of variety, but service is cold and rude for no reason. Pleasantly asked for help finding a simple item but wasnt helped at all so I had to go to another store. All he told me was if we sell it you would see it in isle.. but he couldnt be bothered to look in the isle with me.Another time I came in and was helped by a lady and she was really helpful and courteous.

I use to love this beauty supply. They literally have everything a person could need or want. But I went in there two weeks ago and experienced the worst customer service. I was standing at the hair section waiting for someone to help me .(I literally stood there for 10 minutes while three employees had a full conversation) there was another woman standing there before I approach the station .she looked at me and said wow I cant believe they havent asked either of us if we need help. I agreed with her and said I know right. The Chubby Spanish man look at the both of us with an attitude and said well neither of you asked for help so what did you expect? That FAT bastard was so rude. I then asked to speak to the manager in charge and he said you dont need to speak to a manager you can leave. My first thought was to have my husband come in there and beat his ass because he was ridiculously disrespectful unnecessarily. But instead I just decided to calmly leave and take my business elsewhere. I have read the bad reviews about this place and I could never relate until now! I have been a customer at this location for at least 10 years never again will I shop at that beauty supply store. The owner seriously needs to clean up his staff

Wow! This is a BIG beauty supply store. There is almost too much stuff to choose! Prices are okay. Ive been in two times to buy braiding hair and supplies. They had what I was looking for which is alone since I have a hard time matching my salt and pepper hair. Many beauty supply stores do not carry this color hair. The reason Im giving a 4 star instead of 5 star is because of the employees: some have some bad attitudes and are not very helpful others are great.

I visited this beauty supply for the first time today out of desperation. My sister was getting her hair braided and needed hair right away. Normally I go out of my way to support black businesses, but because we were pressed for time we stopped here. We arrived when the store first opened so they were not busy. We were not greeted upon entering the store. The staff acted as if we were bothering them when we asked for assistance; and the last straw was when we waited to be rung up and they all stood around at the register instead of assisting us. When we asked to be rung up they snatched the hair from us and said its too early for attitudes we will not be serving you in this store and refused to proceed with our transaction. I would encourage all black people to think twice before supporting this business. They are monetizing off of the black community while neglecting to give respect to the citizens residing in the community. There are many black owned beauty supply stores in the Los Angeles area. Please support them and buy black.

Poor service bad attitudes. Store manager closed off wig section of the store 45 minutes early and refuse to allow me to shop. Store was not busy with plenty of workers standing around available to assist me in that area.

C&j Beauty supply need to hire African American workers to help out customers. We are more than likely the ones buy their products. Why are you hiring people that dont know nothing or dont have our hair type. Also having attitudes with customers too. Real...wow...

C and J beauty supply is the bomb. They have just about everything you want in a beauty supply store. They have everything for all hair ethnicity. If you want hair color, theyve got it. If you want moisturizers, theyve got it. If you want synthetic here, theyve got it. Frontals, human hair, make up, Styling utensils, Nail supplies and just about anything you can think of that you need for beauty, theyve got it. And if there is something that you would like that they do not have, they will order it for you. The store is in a great location, its in the Crenshaw, Imperial shopping center in the North West corner of the shopping center. Its a very large beauty supply and you cant miss it. Theres lots of parking. And the store is always meet and clean. Because its such a large store, it may take you a while to walk around and find all the things that you need. And it sometimes annoying how they watch you as if youre going to steal something. But since I go in regularly they dont watch me as much anymore. Lol! This app in the store is very helpful and they always greet you when you come in. Their prices are competitive. But just like most things, its quite possible to find items cheaper online. But it is a great beauty supply store.

Basically, theyve ALWAYS had everything Im looking for... I gave a 4 star because they always forget to give SAMPLES that they have in abundance. Im not too particularly found of Dee in wig department..ALWAYS GET A NEGATIVE VIBE FROM HER....OTHERWISE EVERYONES GREAT! SIMON, DAISY, BETTY...IVE CONE FROM WHEREVER IVE LIVED TO THIS BEAUTY SUPPLY BECAUSE OF THE EMPLOYEES AND FRIENDLY CUSTOMERS.

I would advise against giving this store business. The customer service is very bad. Please spend your dollars elsewhere. The variety is huge but there are hundreds of beauty supplies. Protect your community and stop giving money to people who dont respect the people who shop there. I had a very stern conversation with the employees here. They are ignorant and careless.

I had been looking for a particular product all over town. I googled beauty supplies near me and saw this store listed. I called and inqured if they had the product.I was very satisfied with the service I received. On another trip there, I got two Bags of hair. The price seemed kind of high but I bought it anyway. Just as I was about to leave the store, a man, dont know if he was the manager or not, but he said I had been overcharged, took my receipt and figured out how much I was overcharged and gave me a refund of the difference I had paid. Maybe, because I use a walker, they go and get the product I ask for. Havent experienced any rudeness.

This place does, indeed, have every hair product you can think of. However, the awful customer service out weighs the variety of the store itself. My best friend (who has minimal knowledge about buying hair or knowledge about hair shops period) asked for assistance & was blown off by the employees. She final bought a ponytail that displayed a picture on the front of the package of her desired look. She couldnt open the package to check if it matched the picture because it was restricted. When she opened it at home, the merchandise was opposite of what the picture showed on the front. We went back to exchange it. After reasoning with the girl at the counter, the manager came over & said, Imma tell ya this one time, you need to check before you buy! UGH!!! I was so angry. I get it; your in da hood, but dont be rude to respectful peeps. Or to any customer, period.

Theyre customer service sucks. They have some good products, just not the friendliest staff.
