Quintessential Starbucks drinks, made pretty quickly. I just think its silly that you can all stand next to each other to wait for your drink but they dont let you sit at tables separated from each other in familiarity groups or alone. : (

Very pleased. Staff very efficient, very polite, seemed glad to help. Coffee was great, as well as the slice of nut bread. The only thing is the display of fake baked goods is unappetizing. Should be a display of real items. Then it would be a perfect dining coffee house experience.

To the owner of this Starbucks location: I don’t know what you pay your employees but it’s not enough. They are KILLING IT for you. I was in there Friday, September 3rd during the early afternoon and they were slammed. Your employees were churning out tasty beverages at a speed James T. Kirk would be envious of. Not only did I get my vanilla sweet cream cold brew in light speed but it was delicious and that has not always happened at other Starbucks locations. The guy that made my drink made someone else’s order in the time it took me to walk up, get my drink and head for the door. GIVE THEM ALL A RAISE!

This store is only drive thru or mobile order only/ no walk in!!. So it’s a huge line in drive thru; if your business will start functioning under such guidelines- maybe you should specify online - so when I look up your location on google search it doesn’t show up as available for walk in!

The one thing that keeps me coming back is the staff. Hands down, always pleasant and helpful, no matter the time or day. Plus, of course, their coffee is delicious!

All Starbucks rip you off. You say venti no whip and no room. They still fill it over an inch short of full. Sometimes you barely get a Grande amount of coffee in a venti. They definitely train staff to do this because every single store nation wide does it.

We stopped by on our road trip through Iowa and I am so glad we did! The line seemed long, but it was very quick and efficient. This is the absolute fastest coffee shop Ive ever been to. Service was spunky, personable, and very covid-conscious.

Dont let long drive thru lines scare you away, they plug through it pretty quickly but most importantly have amazingly personable, kind, and efficient baristas. Favorite drive thru coffee in town.

The coffee is always good. Obviously pricey due to the brand name. Wait times have been crazy lately because of covid I assume. Drive thru line is even longer but can be worth the wait if you need a pick me up.

Its the first time I had the double smoked chicken sandwich and it was so good. Staff was very friendly I went through the drive-thru and it was real quick. Highly recommended.

I love the location of this Starbucks. It’s the newest Starbucks in the Iowa City area, and gives a great alternative to going to the one in downtown Iowa City. The staff is friendly and speedy. There is a drive through and seating inside and outside, as well as a good sized parking lot.

The employees are so nice!! One of the girls that helped me actually made conversation with my mom and i, not just small talk. It was pretty cool, most people don’t do that. Our coffee was really good as well!

Just waited in the drive thru for OVER 25 mins for a small order and a relatively small line, and when finally pulling up to the window they mess up the order of transactions and end up changing us for the wrong order. By far the worst experience we have ever had at a Starbucks. Will be going to the downtown Iowa City location from now on.

Unfortunately, we will not be returning to our local coffee shop. We had two disappointing prior experiences with wait times at this location but decided to return. After ordering and waiting 10 minutes, we were pleasantly informed that they could not make our drink. The goal of a coffee shop is to exchange money for coffee - not money to wait, and then be dissapointed. The employees do not deserve to have an unpleasant experience in the morning with customers and your customers do not deserve an unpleasant Starbucks experience -it is best we part ways. I am sure there are many other options for coffee in the Iowa City area.

I’d highly recommend this store for its guest service! A few weeks ago I decided to go through the drive thru before work. Landon took my order, but there was a miscommunication on what I wanted. I got to the window, payed for it, and then my drink came a few minutes after. Turns out it was a completely different drink, and he said, “absolutely no problem, take this, and I’ll start you your new drink at no cost.” No questions asked, no hesitation. Could NOT complain with Landon’s superior guest service. Well done & thank you for both drinks!

The barista there was very friendly. It was my birthday, so I went in for my free coffee. She wished me Happy Birthday at least twice. A sweet girl. I wish I had gotten her name...

I absolutely love the aesthetic and atmosphere of this location, the baristas are always friendly here, and they have quick service. The food and drinks are always top notch and the lounge chairs are super comfortable.

Fast service, correctly took order and drive thru was busy but quick take out. Plenty of parking, and a separate drive thru lane.

The wait is always so long at this location. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes in the drive thru lane, not during peak hours. I was able to watch a barista completely clean, that I would guess was, an ice machine while I waited for my coffee. Bucket after bucket of soapy water brought over. I debated not stopping but there were only 2 cards in line when I pulled up. The first time I went to this location it was a solid 15 minute wait for 2 drinks with no one else in line. I just thought it was a fluke, but I have been to this location at least three times and every time it is slow. The coffee is good, but dont stop if you are in a hurry.

Its good for life its very expensive so its great if you dont care if you like to spend like $4 on a coffee or anything else there but like it is expensive

Staff is nice but really slow. I have been there two times and both of the times they didn’t please me with my drink. I always ask for an extra hot Hot Chocolate and the first time I went the hot choco was just warm, not even hot. So I gave them one more chance and this last time they gave it to me not even warm. Like they made it when I ordered from the drive thru (and because they took so long with the first 2 cars before me) so when I get to the window and they gave me my drink it was cold. I was in a rush both of the days and couldn’t go back to ask for another one. So I’m just not going there no more.Starbucks in Hyvee waterfront is the best.

Mobile orders are problematic. One time I ordered 2 things, and only one was ready for me. The label on the drink did incorrectly say 1 of 1, but another part of the label said there were 2 items in the order. Another time, they completely lost my order, and I was the only one there. They asked to look at my phone, which clearly showed that I placed the order there. They need to work on improving their service.

The only Starbucks I’ve been too and don’t have to wait from 6-10a! The staff is friendly and strikes up conversation even in the drive thru. Also stiff had cinnamon shortbread latte still several locations recently have been out!

This was one of my favorite Starbucks! Awesome service every time. Eva, the manager goes above and beyond to provide excellent service.Update: Eva moved to Des Moines-store is terrible now. Service is worse than awful. You could go to Walmart buy a bag of coffee, take it home grind it and brew it in a French press faster than these people can get you a cup of black coffee. Worst Starbucks in the history of the company.

Great & friendly staff.our medium sz.order went a rye with 2items (chocolate milk.).only that they happen to be warm because they werent able to get them in the cold box in time.they were very sry and very nice about it and refunded the order..I LOVE THE STARBUCKS THEY ARE FRIENDLY ..CLEAN & recommend it very much ..
