Good prices. Good employees.

This might be the best organic grocery store in the Iowa City area. The prices are very reasonable, quite low, even. They have very nice sales and being a member is free and gets you a nice discount on top of their low prices. The quality of the produce is top notch. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you did not bring your own bags, they sell them and provide boxes for free. They may not always have everything you are looking for, but most everything you will need is there and it is ALL organic. I do most of my shopping there.

Great staff. Organic food galore. They have a wide variety of produce, supplements and items you can’t find anywhere else.They have a nice selection of books for those interested in eating healthy.

Great store. Super friendly staff. I love their grocery selections. Only downside is that they seem having a hard time with some suppliers. Sometimes theyre out of a product for weeks at a time.

My girlfriend and I love this store. We go weekly (if not twice a week) and the prices are reasonable, very fresh and hearty produce. We do a lot of juicing and get all of our organic celery here..its about triple the size of Trader Joes organic celery. Nice variety and selection on just about everything!

This is a small grocery store. They dont have any bags in the store, so you must bring your own. The prices are expensive but they have some great food you cant find anywhere else. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Reminds of Disney World in that I needed several days to truly experience it all. This last trip, my 3rd in 2 yrs, I noticed some items were as pricey as my Co-op, higher than WM, but bigger variety. Several items the latter two were out of or very low in stock, Nat Grocers had but I was in need and gladly purchased. The sacrifice was worth it.

Seems like you can always depend on knowledgeable people here per department to assist you with your needs. I appreciate the reliable service Ive grown to expect here lately. The store is always clean and organized but I do wish they would have certain items in stock more frequently. Love the place.

They have a good assortment of food items to choose from. I hope one day they will get in more fresh foods to extend the shelves with.

Cool experience - they have a great selection of foods and natural remedies (e.g. herbal supplements).Great service, and am very happy to see them on the scene.Only 4 stars though because of how high their prices can get... Whew. And some herbal supplements are not as evidence/science based as others.They have a solid education program on Saturdays, so that could help with improving consumer education about these products and how much good they do for your body.

Small specialty grocery not a substitute for a full scale market but where one might find some harder to find organic choices, including some fresh fruits and vegetables. Very heavy on vitamins and supplements if youre interested in them.

Best price in town on collegen! Great sale prices on many of my favorite items.

I do all my shopping here because the foods all organic, fresh and clean for the lowest prices in town. The selection is amazing. The nuts are fresh because they are kept cold. I appreciate that they do not sell liquor. I like the education opportunities. Only the finest meats here. I like the fact that they save their boxes for customer use. Its great to have good parking. No need to shop anywhere else for supplements: they have them all.

Great prices, selection and sales. Cant get beer but has everything else. Great for hard to find items and usually has the best snack healthier snack selection. People that work here are great and care.

I am vegan and have celiacs disease. There is an amazing selection for people with uncommon dietary needs. Getting food I can eat in Iowa has been hard. Highly recommend. Very clean and friendly staff.

So happy they are here. Nuts are kept in the coolers to prevent them from becoming rancid. You never have to look at product ingredients because everything they stock is clean. Service is always good, and the employees go out of their way to help you find what youre looking for.

Best organic produce in the city! Store is neat, clean and organized. Management and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you care about your health and like to eat organically, this is the best place to spend your money!

The staff is wonderfully helpful! For a small store they have good variety. I wish they sold more bulk in unpackaged availability for less prepackaged plastics.

My first go to Health Food Store for supplements & holistic health products. The true bonus in Natural Grocer is finding a huge selection of healthy food options whether Im making meals from scratch or using short cut helps.Their bulk food selections come prepackaged and in varying sizes for whatever my need. Bulk spices are high quality and fresh. I love the ability to find unusual items to try I havent seen in other supermarket stores bulk areas.To my surprise, I found my hometown favorite, Tucson Tamales, in my in state of Iowa. Brought back delicious memories and a taste of home when Im just a little homesick.

I used to go pioneer co-op. I prefer this place over that for most items. Similar or the same items they share are actually cheaper at natural grocers. They dont serve got food however like pioneer co-op but that isnt a deal breaker for me. Their rewards program is free. I cant compare to the membership fee that pioneer co-op charges because I dont have one. Highly recommend trying a few times.

I hadnt been here until recently. Its a very nice store. A large selection of supplements is available, which isnt something I need often but its nice to know its there. The produce is all 100% organic which means you dont have to constantly check label like you do at most stores. I recently got a huge bucket of mixed greens and they were delicious and fresh. I think it made 6 giant salads, all for $5. I will be shopping here often.

The prices are high, but if youre looking for any rare brand of organic food, they likely have it. The supplement section is huge and amazing. I purchased black seed oil when other natural food stores in town did not carry it at all.

Walked in my first impression was a big heck no! The prices were badly overpriced. Just a big no... there is healthy living and healthy shopping but you dont need to go to a store like this and pay their prices to eat healthy. HY Vee has them beat anyways....

The store was well stocked, and mostly clean. Friendly staff, pleasant. The prices were very high. For one red pepper $3.19..... eekkkk. I cant afford to shop there. They do carry alot of items the regular store doesnt have. Way too pricey for my family.

I like going there to buy some organic food. The thing that I usually buy is the organic raw honey. It taste soo good and I like to take one table spoon of it in the morning with a cup of water. I also buy some oils from there such as castor and so on.
