I have bought a dehumidifier, washer and dryer, refrigerator, another storage refrigerator, microwave, and now an updated gas range from Thayer appliance. I like dealing with Missy at the store but all of their people are helpful and knowledgeable. Every purchase and delivery has gone well. Even when this recent gas range gave us concern, which was more because of my picky nature, the store ordered replacement parts and sent a knowledgeable repair person, Glenn, to replace parts. Glenn has always been part of our installation team. I dont think any other appliance store would go above and beyond what was necessary to satisfy a difficult customer like me. Even having the same installation people makes this store easy to deal with. I always know the installation will go well after getting an excellent price from Missy. I deal with the same people, get good quality at a fair price, and they make sure the customer is happy. That is what you want.

My husband and I went here to support our local businesses and we were treated horrible. We purchased a washer, dryer and a stove after I pay for them the man says well the stove is out of stock at the moment, so we will deliver everything when it comes in shouldnt be longer than a month. I was like okay whatever. After waiting a month and nothing I call and ask them to please deliver my washer and dryer cause Im sick of the laundromat and they give me a nasty attitude. So I said just refund my credit card lets see how long it takes to get my money back.

I would caution anyone from purchasing appliances from this store. We purchased top of the line washer and drier from this store, paying thousands of dollars, and less than two years from purchase the drier completely broke down. The company certified repairman said he never saw anything like it in his 12-year career. The company kindly agreed to promptly replace the machine but when Thayer sent over their people it was another nightmare. The walked through our house with dirty shoes because they had nothing to cover them, then they left without warning and without testing the machine. A few minutes after they left I went to test the brand new drier and it was a piece of junk. It was already broken and making loud rattling noises that they could have easily discovered had they bothered to check their work before they left. The incompetence of this store has caused both me and my husband to miss 3 work days and to this date we dont have a functioning drier.

I recently purchased a washing machine from Thayer that broke on Christmas Eve. One quick phone call and the guys were over with a replacement washer. We were back running within 2 hours! Fantastic appliance store! We have bought many appliances over the years from Thayer and have always been impressed by the knowledge, helpfulness and the thorough professionalism of their staff. Doug and Tom are especially great to talk to when you are trying to figure out what works best for your home. I have also found that their good service does not stop after the sale - they have useful tips or solutions when minor or major things happen down the road. I wish their store hours were a bit longer so that I am never tempted to go down to the big box stores when they arent open!

I purchased a refrigerator from Thayer and the experience couldnt have been more lovely. Nick (our salesman) was knowledgeable, professional, and really took the time to answer all of our questions honestly. The price of the fridge was better than the big box stores in the area, they gave us next day delivery, and when I called to ask Nick a question about the purchase after I got home the phone was answered by a real person and I only had to wait about 15 seconds to get to speak with him. Previously that morning I had spent over two hours trying to get in touch with someone at Sears to ask questions about our broken refrigerator. Additionally, the two delivery men who came to install the fridge were courteous, quick, and very good at their jobs. The customer service at Thayer is a breath of fresh air and theyll certainly be getting all of my future business.

While shopping for a new refrigerator we went to every big box store in the area. We also asked around for other stores and no one told us about Thayer... a friend actually suggested them. We were extremely limited in our selection as we had a height requirement that only gave us 3 or 4 options. Nick was amazing and so helpful in our search for the perfect fridge. When I finally found the one I wanted, I asked him if he could price match it. I found an amazing deal on a fluke online and he admitted that no one in the area would be able to match it. So, he went thru the trouble to call the place that had it, price check it, and make sure it was in stock there before messaging me back that I should go ahead and purchase thru the other company. I will return to Thayer for ANY other appliance need in the future strictly because Nick was so accommodating, honest, and helpful. I was saddened I couldn’t make the initial purchase with them but will absolutely go there first for any of my future appliance needs. I can’t say enough nice things about my experience here!
