Im a new cardholder with Home Depot, I ordered a corner shower kit (3 pieces), I get a notification that my order is ready for pickup. I go, do curbside pickup and my glass door piece is not to be found.Her name is AMANDA... and she is... Amazing!! Even though they werent able to track it down that day, due to short on working employees, which I dont hold against them because everyone and everywhere this is a situation.Anyways, she was upfront with me for what was going on, didnt try to push me aside with my problem. She called me every time there was an update for the next following days! Which was awesome to know that I wasnt forgotten about. My problem was taken care of in a few days and I personally really appreciate her efforts and Home Depot is lucky to have this hard working individual. So if anyone runs into Amanda, youre in good hands.
Home Depot, Ithaca is my go-to Home Depot store. I want to share my experience with Sarah from the hardware department. I purchased a bench online and while assembling it over the weekend, two of the bolts stripped and I was unable to finish putting the bench together. I called the store disappointed and frustrated and spoke to Sarah who indicated someone at the store will be able to take a look at the bench and see if they can help. When I got to the store I went to the customer service desk and asked a staff member to page Sarah. I was then told that Sarah said to go to the tool rental desk and someone should be able to help me. I went to the tool rental desk and the employee behind the counter advised me to return the bench as it sounded like I will need to either rent or purchase tools/hardware to fix the bench - which I didnt seem was fair for me to do. I then walked back to the customer service desk and explained the whole situation in an attempt to return the bench. The employee I spoke with then asked Sarah to talk to me. After I explained the outcome of the conversation with the tool rental desk, Sarah walked with me to my car to take a look at the bench. She then went back inside the store several times to get the appropriate tools to get the bolts into the bench and I was able to leave the store with a fully assembled bench. This whole process was not a five minute deal and Sarah was patient and gave me her undivided attention the entire time. This is not the first time Sarah has helped me in a frustrating situation and had it not been for Sarah I would have probably returned the bench and wait another week for a replacement or would have probably taken my business elsewhere.
I prefer to shop here or rather than Lowes. Anytime I have a question or I get lost which is quite frequently theres always somebody around. If they dont know where an item is or the answer to my question they do what they can to find out. Now I can only speak from my personal experience but I really have no reason to complain at all I think the staff is friendly for the most part, check out is very easy, the layout makes sense
I had to do a return of a well pump I ordered online, they actually had in store the one I needed. Jen at the return desk handled the return and the new sale. I told her what I needed and she knew exactly where it was. She is so professional, knowledgeable and saved me a ton of time. Very clean store,also .
I waited for 30 minutes @ the paint counter for a sample. The employee called for help and nobody showed. Asked the customer service desk to get me help so I could purchase a mower. I waited for 15 minutes, and since the frustration had already set in (with 6 employees lounging and chatting behind the customer service desk), I took my business to Lowes. This was a complete failure of accountability, customer service, and lastly, a $4000 sale.

The parking lot has some very tight and possibly difficult corners. The way its laid out is not codusive for larger trucks. The store of course has everything. Lumber, locks and latches, handles and knobs, kids play sand and cement and mortar. Tools and most all things are close in price with competitors. Friendly and helpful staff are all over, very convenient.
I was nervous about a first in store visit in over a year. Everyone was masked and gave plenty of space. The salesperson was great help in purchasing 2 new appliances. It all made my visit a very good and productive one.
Got a furnace and central air through them. Love the subcontractor they sent. This was at least 6 years ago and still use them for maintenence.
I dont like going here there is never any help and they always talk down to you

I love this store. Home Depot has all of the do it yourself tools and project materials and equipment that one could ask for. Its actually a place that I dont mind too much to spend money at because the shopping is so much fun! Walking up and down the aisles and looking up and down the aisles (theyre tall), youd be hard pressed to not find SOMETHING in this store to buy that will increase the home and workplace for good. Home Depot is probably my favorite store. Good job, Home Depot!
I purchased a Samsung washing machine from Home Depot. After it was delivered and installed, I found scratches on the unit when I finished pulling off the tape used in packaging the night after it was installed. I started calling Home Depot about the damage the following morning, within 24 hours of delivery. Home Depot transferred/referred me to Samsung multiple times, claiming that HD could not help; it had to come from Samsung. Samsung sent me back to HD claiming that HD had never sent them proof of delivery (POD). Eventually I was able to send Samsung the copy of the POD Id received myself, and I continued to follow up. At this point, I am being told that Samsung cant do anything about the damage because more than 48 hours have passed. Very disappointed in the service received from both HD and Samsung. Washer works ok - just damaged.

Did an online order with curbside pick-up. All good thru the online order process until I arrived to pick-up. Had to go in to get the order as was not brought out when I checked in.

Omg. I just could not believe it! I went to lowes and I could not find one item I was looking for. So I went to home Depot thinks oh I will probably have the same results. But I was dead wrong! I found every thing I was looking for. Thank goodness for the home depot!
I drove 30 miles to get a mower blade. The website said they had 6 in stock. Not one in the store. Clerk says dont trust that information! Inventory off by 100%, 6 items missing?! I could understand being up or down one, but the whole damn count? What good is it if you cant rely on the company website. 60 miles of driving and an hour and a half wasted.

Had a horrible experience with an older lady who was incredibly condescending when I asked questions, which is what Home Depot was created for. She had no idea how to use the key copying machine and kept making snide, rude, and inconsiderate remarks towards me. Ithica Home Depot had everything I needed to add a condensate pump to my dehumidifier.
I go to this store all the time. I ordered out of the box, non-custom kitchen cabinets 3 months ago for pickup at this store. I paid to rent a trailer and hired someone to pick up the order June 11 when it said it was ready for pickup. I was then told the cabinets were damaged and could not be picked up and would not be able be refilled for SEVERAL MORE MONTHS.I asked the associate, Linda, the day I was notified of damage to cancel the order immediately since new cabinets would not arrive for several more months. She hung up on me (intentionally) and apparently did not do so. Obviously Im on a construction timeline and getting these cabinets at the end of the summer just wont work. Ive already ordered them elsewhere.I tried to reach Home depot via the central 1800 number at least 18 times but after waiting over 30 minutes on at least 5 separate occasions, I gave up reaching anyone and determined the number simply wasnt staffed.This is completely unacceptable and I will be disputing this charge via my payment method as the order was not successfully fulfilled on your end and you provided the worst/non existent customer service imaginable. (Im still on the 1800 now - 30 minutes and counting -- but again, no one is ever answering at any branch of the menu). Home depot should really be reported to BBB.
I went in to buy a step ladder. (6.3)Walked in front of the cashier, Brittani, then waited by the checkout while she finished chatting with her friends and screwed around on her cell phone.Claims she didnt see me as she was told she had a customer from a co worker who she promptly told to shut up when he apologized to me.

Customer service was great!!! They had an i tem i wanted but it could not be found. The sales girl spent over 20 minutes looking for one. Needless to say I walked out with the item I wanted.
So long as you keep in mind spring and fall is the turn over time for associates (thus understaffed a bit) if you ask a question, it will be answered to the best of ones ability.

I was so shocked to see how many beautiful flowers they still have. There wasnt long waits in lines. It was great to go in look around get what I needed and get right out without a wait.

Kim, the lady in charge of the cabinet section was extremely rude and did not help us at all. Nobody assisted us when trying to buy cabinets. We asked 2 people and neither wanted to help us. I will gladly give my business to a people who are better with customers.
We got what we came for in an efficient manner and the associate in appliances was vey helpful and courteous and had a very positive attitude, which is refreshing.

I usually shop for DYI items at Home Depot for a good reason. They are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Today I bought a chop saw and was very impressed with the sales lady, Sis. She went out of her way to provide excellent customer service. We bought the floor model because it was the last one in stock. She had to take her time to locate the missing accessories which she did. She made sure the checkout person knew what was going on about selling the exhibit item. Finally, the price was right as HD has the best store prices around.
I tend not to shop big box stores. However, I did purchase hardwood flooring from Home Depot. When I finally finished the project 6 months later, I had a full case of flooring left over. They allowed me to return it even without my sales receipt because I used a credit card with which they could confirm the purchase.

The customer service at this location is stellar!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found great help available two days in a row! I recommend working with Dave C (store manager) and Alan (Pro Desk) plus the staff that loaded my order on to the Load and Go truck! Great experience all around. I did notice that the excellent service was from all the workers who were at the Pro Desk/Lumber area. Cant say that the other staff was helpful. BUT if you are doing a big lumber job (I was installing a deck), then definitely go here!

I ordered an interior door on august 31st with a delivery dat of September 28th that day came and no door they then tell me it will be here the the following week so the following week comes and no door they tell me it will be her the following Friday and that Friday came and no door now over a month and a half I’m beyond angry so I call at the lack of concern from the store’s employees who don’t care to figure out where this 400 dollar interior door is they tell me call 1800 Home Depot they can deal with it so I did and they call the store I sit on hold for 10 minutes they come back and tell me that the door will be here today October 5th GUARANTEED they have tracked the door down so I start my day call Home Depot to confirm if my door is there and NOPE no door now they tell me it’s in transit on a truck headed to Buffalo N.Y really? Guaranteed to be here today nii is w they say it’ll be here tomorrow yeah right I will bet that door does not arrive tomorrow I’m sick and tired of this run around they have done nothing to compensate for this or to get a speedy delivery they show no concern to this issue I still been a month and a half for an interior door and they blame it on the virus that’s the new get out of jail free card with businesses anymore any problems it’s the virus, my car won’t start it’s the virus batteries die in the remote it’s the virus it’s getting old this is exactly why I shop at Lowe’s they never have this kind of service unfortunately they didn’t have this door or I would have had it a month ago and installed I’m going to need 12 more of these doors but I will not purchase them from Home Depot if I can’t find them elsewhere I will switch the door style because I will not buy anything from Home Depot ever again so ridiculous LOWES LOWES LOWES where you get what you want when you want not a run around

Horrible online delivery! Will never gone HD again. I ordered bulk stone and paid a delivery fee. After submitted the order, I got anl message to call and schedule a delivery. I called twice on two different days. Both days staff seemed confused as to what I was asking. Ended up being on hold both days for over 10 mins. One of those calls i was on hold and the last person i got transferred to, the phone just rang and rang. Finally a 3rd day I called. Got someone and we scheduled a date. I was like well that was too easy! Delivery date comes and no delivery and no phone call about where delivery is. I called them and was informed the nearest HD couldnt fill the order and passed it to another one, thus pushing my delivery date back by a week. So no phone call to tell me this and three weeks later no products that I spend hundreds on! NEVER ORDER ONLINE FOR DELIVERY. Unless u are ok with a scavenger hunt to locate your purchase.

Real Issues here! I usually purchase from Lowes but thought Id try the HD Pro service. I liked the process of bidding the job (same as Id do at a lumber yard) and they were competitive with a $3,800 order. But then it got bad. The order was split into two deliveries. One delivery never came - they never called - just nothing. I followed up and it took them another week to schedule delivery which was again missed - no call, nothing. I had to follow up again. Was told theyd take care of it ASAP. I got a call the next day - scheduled the delivery. Then the shipping manager called to cancel the delivery and promised to call me the next day. Guess what? No call, no email, no text! I had to follow up again. Pathetic. Ill give them on star for the ease of ordering - they were great at taking the order and my money, just couldnt follow through on the job.ps. This did happen April of 2020 during the C-19 emergency. I was not surprised at problems with the order, but the lack of follow-up is not acceptable anytime.
