Johnathan will introduce you to the world of real vacuums and great service not to mention knowledge of the vacuum business. I have over the years bought $50 dollar vacuums and $500 vacuums from the box stores none ever worth a damn. I brought a pricey Vacuum in for repair after less than a year. Nothing was wrong with the vacuum repair wise just an overpriced pile of plastic with no service after the sale. Johnathan wasnt pushy but very aware of my problem and the fact I had not ever been exposed to real vacuums. Once I tried them out I bought a super light cordless vacuum. I was impressed with 3 years worth of service after the sale. 30 years of 5 star reviews too so I think the future is going to be a breeze. Thanks Johnathan looking forward to the good vacuum life.
What a pleasure meeting Jonathan, the store manager. He was so pleasant, professional and helpful. A great personality and a great salesman. I called a few Oreck stores for what I needed and NO ONE at the stores would help me.When I called this store and spoke to Jonathan he immediately offered to help me. When I went to the store and met him he left a lasting impression on me. He sincerely cared about my need. I live quite a way from this store, however I know I will definitely return for anything I need.
This is a rare case of excellent service, knowledgeable and capable employees/manager/owner. I took a Sebo in for repair, and didnt realize it was covered by warranty. Jonathan contacted the company in NY where I bought it, conferred with them, repaired it, and returned it to me at no cost. He even took it out to my vehicle for me. I ended up buying a second, smaller vacuum for everyday use, and have been very happy with the purchase. So glad to have found this place.

I have visited this store many times in the last 10 years after purchasing my Miele vacuum cleaner. I started using the Lamp Berger oils that they also carry. I love one of the fragrances, and they were out the last two times I wanted to replenish my supply. Jonathan Hamilton got on the phone both times and found what I wanted, and held them at the store for me when they arrived. He was also most helpful in giving me advice on an attachment for my vacuum cleaner that I lost. Jonathans customer service skills are definitely second to none. It is so rare that someone would take the time to find what I wanted.....no matter what he needed to do. More important, he did what he said he would do. I have worked in customer service all my life, and recognize excellence when I see it and experience it. I will keep coming back due to his diligence and knowledge of his products. Jonathan is absolutely awesome in what he does!

My experience with the Oreck store in Mandarin has been excellent. When my Oreck vacuum cleaner that I bought new years ago finally gave up the ghost, I went to the store in Mandarin and purchased a used and refurbished machine and took it home. Have been very happy with it. When it got plugged up with paper clips, screws, etc., I took it back to the store and they cleaned it out for no charge. Now it works like a charm again. They are great vacuum cleaners new or used and I recommend the store and the staff very highly in Mandarin.
Can’t say enough nice things about the store manager, Jonathan. I brought my dyson vacuum in because we thought it was broken. Turns out just a minor clog was the problem. He wouldn’t take any money for his time. It was a 2 minute process.I will only bring my vacuums to them. It’s how sales should be done. Honest and open.

Friendly service! Literally it is the safest place to shop during COVID-19! Air purifiers with blue light germ killers and French technology air fresheners from no scent to a lot of scents. It cleanses the air. They use it in hospitals! And, of course, vacuums, that last 4ever! Go and get a breathe of fresh air. The one on San Jose Boulevard has lovely gardens you can sit in and enjoy.

My mom bought her first vacuum over 28 years ago from this place and since I have upgraded twice, because of allergies. Jonathan Is awesome and now I have an oreck air purifier and to scared to clean it, he will even help out with that. This is one of the best shops I’ve been in quite a while and refreshing to know there’s people that care and not just about the sale, but me, my needs and financial situation.
So...my review is based upon many, many visits to the store. Each one AWESOME!!!!! Jonathan is suuper nice and extremely helpful, professional, and kind. I have purchased their long lasting steamer, Sebo vacuum (with the peace of mind warranty), the beautiful glass Lumier, no streak glass/mirror /stainless spray, and the super fine and FANTASTIC carpet crystals. The crystals sell out all of the time..so that tells you how amazing they are. I use them even on my tile.Bottom line...Top Shelf Service and products. Kudos (long overdue!)

Jonathan, store mgr. was great in helping us to repair an old model Oreck. Expected to drop off and pick up later, but he repaired within 10 minutes. If this vacuum gives out, I will definitely consider purchasing a a new Oreck from his store.

I Came here to get my Oreck serviced, and got nothing but excellent customer service. Jonathan was the gentleman who greeted me at the door with a smile and took care of what I needed. He even had time to show me all the new items they have in now. The staff here is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. The atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. I loved how they had some of their new units on display to look at and try out. I may actually trade in at some point! Jonathan Hamilton, the manager, of the Oreck store, is a very patient and helpful man. He is kind and courteous. I have dealt with him twice now. The first time, I was adamant that we had been sold a lemon.... but he patiently showed me that we had vacuumed up toy soldiers - and that our vacuum worked fine. Lol. (I don’t even have boys... so not sure where the toy soldiers came from... lol).Second time was today- same kindness and patience. He was knowledgeable and cleaned out my vacuum and made it work again- perfectly.I will definitely be going back- again and again. Customer service that is patient and kind is hard to find these days- so when I do find someone like Jonathan- I will stick with him.

Vacuum had a cracked hose connection adapter. Older vacuum so they had to order the parts. They forgot to replace my vacuum bag. Didnt notice it until later. When I did, they QUICKLY rectified the situation. Recommend.

Our vacuum stopped working suddenly today. I called the store to get advice, and Jonathan was VERY helpful. He helped me troubleshoot, and said it sounded like a wire might have come unclipped. He said, if that was the case, they could probably fix it for free. When I told him we live a long way from the store, he actually talked me through opening up the unit and clipping the wire back on. Now our 10 year old vacuum is ready to go again. Thank you Jonathan!
We have been very impressed with the personal attention we have received at this store. The salespeople are always very helpful and willing to give advice....in our case, the cleaning of white tile with white grout....a tricky endeavor. Adding to my review from a couple of years back... Looks like Jonathan, the store manager, has been getting some kudos here and Id like to add to those. Just brought my vacuum back for service, assuming I knew what the problem was... But it turned out to be much more minor. He took time to educate me about the thermal reset button, cleaned out the unit, loaded a new bag, showed me a new product that makes the forced air smell better as you vacuum (I have dogs, much appreciated), tested the product before I left - and most graciously did not make me feel like a dunderhead for something I should have been able to do myself. What I experienced was the highest level of customer service and friendliness. Unfortunately, so rare to find that it really really stands out. I had to drive from St. Augustine to Mandarin because my local Oreck store closed. I had purchased a new Oreck when my old one finally just started looking ratty. It still worked, Orecks never die, but I decided it was time for a new one. A year later, the local store where I bought my new Oreck closed, so I had to go out of town to get the free servicing. Flash forward to today, when I drove all the way to Mandarin where Jonathan, the manager, was working. He was super nice and said of course they could tune it up for free! I would just have to leave it for a couple days. I dreaded having to drive all the way back there again when it was done. He surprised me when I started to leave by saying he would go ahead and get it done so I wouldnt have to drive back up. WOW! I was blown away, never expected that. He was busy and I knew it was not going to be easy for him. But. I went to lunch and when I came back, there it was! That man deserves your business! He has certainly earned mine.
I recently purchased the Oreck XL air purifier.I am so glad Jonathon showed it to me.Ive wasted so much money on air purifers .Filters alone cost 30 plus dollars every 6mths with 3 filters was so costly.The Oreck X L.....has a washable filter so no more 100$every 6mths.I found the very 1st day of use by the afternoon house smelled better.We have dogs .Its Great .I am VERY PLEASED to say it was for the bedroom I have many lung issues.From our room it takes care of the whole house.Thank you Oreck for putting this on sale.Thank You Jonathon agian for showing me the Oreck XL.
Weve been a customer of this shop for almost 4 years after purchasing our Oreck Magnesium RS upright. Though we did not purchase the vacuum from this store, we only needed to provide proof of purchase (receipt) once to have the unit serviced in future. In fact, I remember the gentleman who worked there taking a photo of my receipt at the time and putting it in my customer profile in their computer system. In the time since, weve had the remote control (power switch) replaced, a few tune ups, a new power cord installed, and once or twice have brought it in because it was blocked or making a whining a noise.Now, the whining noise on the unit is far more pronounced and suction is negatively impacted. After all these years, the shop is requesting the receipt again and attempting to verify the date/place of purchase. Really? Wow. I have the receipt, but on principle alone wont provide it. After all the work weve had done prior, they never asked for it because the information was in their computer system. Back and forth via phone, not once was it even mentioned we could just *pay* for labor/repair instead of counting it as warranty, unsure why it wasnt brought up as an alternative instead of essentially refusing to service my vacuum without proof purchase.Also, a tip to the staff here - dont end calls with have a blessed day. It has religious connotations and like many people on Earth, I am not a religious individual. You can lose business by being off putting in this regard.We probably wont bring our vacuum back to this location. Unfortunate, as in the past I had such positive experiences here. Oreck policy may be Oreck policy, but unless my vacuum is out of warranty, it shouldnt matter as the receipt/proof of purchase was captured into their system in 2014.
We have taken r Orek here for tune ups since we moved here in 2015. Always have been serviced & well taken taken care of. Went to pick up r vac last nite after it’s annual service & went home with a new Riccar vac. Jonathan made us a great deal, & even carried over the few services left on my Orek plan. I’ve used the Riccar & it works great! Of course it’s 12 years newer too. But, we have a lot of hardwood & tile in kitchen & baths, only carpets in the bedrooms. This sweeper is designed to switch between ALL 3 surfaces! I’m sure we will get many years of use & Great service from Orek & Jonathan & his crew! Go see them for new vac or your repairs.

The service is absolutely sterling! We moved here from another state with a 10 year old OreckOreck purchased and routine serviced regularly from our dealer at home. When it came time to have it serviced here we took it to Oreck Mandarin. The vacuum performed like new when we got it back and took less than a week! Weve lived here 2 years now and have had the vacuum back for service again and also took in a Dyson we had been given. Within a week we had both vacuums back and the Oreck was as if new! The Dyson cleaned up and is performing much better even with a worn out clutch.
