Needed all four TPMS sensors replaced and requested the wheels balanced. I made an appointment, Z checked me in and was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. I was out the door in 30 minutes. Cost was much lower than any other tire company in town. I will be recommending and using them for future tire services.

Called and clearly asked if they could simply remove two mounted tires from my truck and install two already mounted and balanced tires. The reply was yes, however get here soon because we close soon. 11 minutes later i arrived. Due to their policy, they can not remove wheels and tires from my f350 and replace them with the exact same wheels and tires currently in the bed of my truck ready to install, I purchased from a competitor. Nothing to dispose of. Thanks guys, im from out of town. And this was a waste of time and money.

I called this location yesterday fully expecting to just get a quote on new tires to have them put on today because my tire blew out at 5:45 and they close at 6. i spoke to Torian (so sorry if i spelled that wrong) and he expressed how he wanted me to come in TONIGHT, that he would keep his guys there to change my tires because my tires were unsafely bald. i got an amazing price on 4 new tires with warranty and drove out of there feeling BRAND NEW!! literally the best experience of my life, i cannot express in words how thankful i am to have been treated the way i did!! such a sweet and caring set of gentlemen here!! 10/10 recommend to anyone!! Torian was very knowledgeable and his main concern was safety! thank you again, a MILLION TIMES, thank you!! i will most definitely be returning for my tire upkeep!

TORIAN IS THE BEST!When you find someone good at their job and so helpful, youve got to take a minute to give them credit.Ive been here multiple times. I live just down the road so its very convenient for me. But even if I didnt, I would still come here for all of my tire needs. Torian has helped me every time Ive been here, probably because hes so attentive. He has been great in helping me find tires that fit my needs and making sure Im out of there in a snap. I wont be asking for anyone else to help me there unless hes busy or not around for some reason.Though I cant speak for other associates personally, Im sure theyre great too. My and my visiting friend’s vehicles were vandalized including slashed tires. Our cars were towed to Discount Tire on Baymeadows road and Phillips Hwy in Jacksonville. We received a friendly greeting and were kept informed throughout their inspection. I needed new tires as did my friend. Since we were previous customers we received a discount in the form of guarantee credit. Every employee was knowledgeable and professional- and expressed their sorrow that someone would do this. Excellent experience and outcome for what started as a dismal day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Amazing experience!! I purchased my tires online and set an appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted immediately and checked in. They verified my information and then took my car back. While I waited they were friendly and professional to everyone that entered. In about 15-20 mins they came to let me know that they were almost done and they would have my car to me shortly. In less than 5 more minutes, he came back to me with my keys thanked me for my service. This was such an easy experience!

Just to start, my family and I were on vacation and driving back home to NC. We got a nail in our tire while getting on 95 and I called and spoke to Will. Will was able to get my vehicle in without an appointment. Although they didn’t have an exact match to my vehicle’s other tires, Will found me a comparable tire and then insured all four tires because they couldn’t match the tire. I spent less than 20 minutes total at the store and Will made it possible for my family and I to get back on the road quickly. I honestly have not ever had better customer service than what was provided to me by Will, he deserves a raise or promotion!

All of you need to read about my experience now. Its worth reading I promise... This specific location on Phillips Highway and Baymeadows Rd, is the best. I seriously cannot describe in words on how much I love this place. The first time I ever used Discount Tire was this location and I will give you an update on what happened. I walked in there letting them know I was losing a significant amount of air in my back right tire, I asked if they were able to repair it, to patch it. My left back tire was also pretty bad. But they tested my tire in the water and apparently, I had a hole in the side of my tire. The nice man told me that. I started crying. I had been there for about almost an hour and a half at this point. I was very upset. He walked away and told me he would be right back. He came back to me about 10 minutes later telling me I needed 2 new tires and I kindly told him I couldn’t afford it at this moment. This is what he said, “we’re going to put you 2 new tires in the back, all it’s going to cost you is time, just hand out these business cards”I started crying. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. I gave him a huge hug and told him how great full I was. Ever since that day, I told myself no matter WHAT happens, I will always be back to this location to get my tires done and I have been back at least 5 times since then. I’m just trying to let you guys know there’s are absolutely truly good people. They are there to take care of you and treat you like family. The whole entire staff is just wonderful. They have the most positive attitudes. If you ever decide to stop by a Discount Tire, you need to go to this location. I handed out every single one of the business cards he gave me and told everyone about my experience. I’ve sent a lot of people there. I will NEVER go, or trust anyone else doing my tires besides Discount on Phillips.

Had to get 5 tires replaced including the spare which was being used on the passenger rear. The wheel itself for the spare is different than the other 4 and they recognized this and put it back without having to have this pointed out. (tbh I forgot anyways). GOOD JOB DISCOUNT TIRE. Never forget how attention to detail is important even with things with take for granted, like tires and wheels.

Tanner was a true professional!!! Here I am, pregnant, hot, getting a stroller out of the trunk & pulling a toddler from the backseat preparing to walk inside for service. He saw me from the garage & immediately rushed over to ask me how he can be of assistance.My 2 tires on the driver’s side were bald & needy. I needed both replaced. The 2 on the passenger side were in great condition (my man just purchased them not long ago). Tanner didn’t upsell me as the other car repair places are notorious for. He advised that 2 of my tires were already in great shape & he provided me with an affordable option to replace the other 2 saving me hundreds because initially I requested Bridgestone or Michelin. As always Cody and Timmy at the Phillips location here in Jacksonville FL always go above and beyond to make sure my vehicles are well looked after and safe to drive. The whole staff under these 2 gentlemen are stellar, meticulous, and engaging. I have followed these managers from previous locations just to ensure my vehicles always recieve the excellent service they need and as a owner you should expect. This has been my 9th vehicle serviced by Discount Tire company, and all of my vehicles are protected with the tire certificates. Now, these my seem expensive at the time of purchase, but let me tell you from 4 nails, 3 blowouts, and many tire replacements, it has paid for its self by more than 10 fold. Pay now, reep the benefits and rewards later. The pictures below show my most recent blowout, which occurred yesterday Sept 5th. Excellent, quick, professional customer service overall! Came in to get my tires replaced. Upon driving off the lot, noticed the car tires were pressurized to nearly 40 PSI. Notified the representative and he informed me to bring it back so they can immediately correct the discrepancy by deflating the tires to a more appropriate. During that time, I noticed my OEM metal valve stem caps were replaced with plastic ones. CSR tried to find the OEM caps but no luck. However the supervisor there at the time, Tristan, was very accommodating and understanding to my situation. He offered to reimbursed my purchase of OEM replacements without hesitation. Because of this, it has reinforced my confidence in discount tire services, and I will continue to do business with this specific shop!They even bagged and helped me load my old tires to my car with pride.***Second Review 27JAN2021***Just came back to this awesome store after i found my tire flat from a screw puncturing it. Times change or Im getting old. Either way I was the type of person that would go out of my way to find a Discount Tire because of the knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing and the service technicians that knew how to do their job right and were well educated in their field.After going to the Phillips and Baymeadows location I asked how much a simple tire rotation would be and if they had time to get it done the same day. The sales associate informed me that To have your tires rotated only (not balanced) is free of charge. Amazed, I insisted that I give them something, $10, $20 for the trouble. After the salesman refused I insisted that I would tip the technician doing the work (a tire rotation on a truck is no easy task). After the salesman walked outside and measured all four of my tires with a tread depth gauge (my tires were practically new, less than 3K miles on them) his tone completely changed. I was told that they would not be able to rotate my tires because the tire size that is on the truck is not the tire size that came from the factory.This is the SEVENTH set of this particular type and size tire I have had installed on my truck (2011 F-250 diesel pushing 300K, purrs like a kitten due to regular maintenance. I work out of my truck and it is my main source of income) one of the seven sets was actually purchased and installed from a Discount Tire Store located in another state. In my personal opinion, once the sales man realized he was not going to make any kind of a sale from me and that my truck would be in the shop holding up potential sales he politely blew me off. When confronted about how many times I have had this particular size tire mounted, balanced, rotated and repaired at Discount Tire locations without any problems his response was well, they should have know better and I cant help you. Sorry sir as he walked away back into the showroom.This experience has ruined my reputation of Discount Tire. I will never return to any Discount Tire location and will encourage everyone that I talk to to do the same.Yes, the tires on my truck are a little bigger than the ones that came from the factory but in my line of work its a necessity. They fit perfectly on the factory rim, they dont rub or cause ANY kind of problems and my fuel mileage has actually improved (believe it or not it actually has by 2mpg). If you have the factory sized street tires where I work youll end up stuck in the mud with everyone laughing saying sucks to be you!Anyway, my rant is over. Im going to go look for another respectable tire shop to do business with thats a little more understanding to the average workers needs.

First experience at a Discount Tire a few days ago was nothing short of phenomenal. I called first to get a quote and schedule an appointment at the Phillips hwy location and spoke to Timmy. He was knowledgeable and made sure I knew exactly what size tires to get since this was first time I had to get tires for my current vehicle. My appointment time was kept for what I scheduled it to be was told itd be roughly 30 minutes and it was done within the 30 minutes. Everyone inside was friendly and acknowledged everyone as they came in. Best experience at any automotive store by far for me. This place keeps wasting my time. Ive been using discount tire for years at other locations and its always been good. Last time i had a tire problem i brought it to this location and they tried to fix it 4 times. I had the protection plan but they didnt want to give me a new tire. Finally after they fixed it for the fourth time it was still going flat in less than 20 minutes. I brought it back a 5th time and told them (politely) that I just cant waste any more time with this and they need to replace it. They did but I wish it didnt take 5 trips. Then I bought two new tires from them. That went smoothly but they price had gone up and so instead of getting the same ones as before I had to go with cheaper ones and they dont handle as well. Then yesterday i brought the car in because there is a screw in the tire. They told me i could leave the car over night. Instead I asked for an appointment. My appointment was set for today at 10am. I arrived 5 minutes before and stood in line for a long time. At about 10:10 an employee comes out helps a guy who just walked in the door even though i had been waiting for about 15 minutes for my turn. At about 10:15 its finally my turn and the guy tells me he cant fix it because my appointment was 15 minutes ago. The only appeal of Discount tire is its hassle free and they have a good protection plan. This particular location seems to only have half of that going on. I just dont have time to make multiple trips per service so I might give up the benefit of the protection plan for a more convenient shop. The protection plan really is a good deal though so if you have a lot of free time it might still be worthwhile for you.

I was phone shopping for a set of tires for my 2014 Corvette. I called Discount Tires at Philips Highway and spoke to Eric. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The prices are some of the best in town. I especially like they offer road hazard warranty on run flat tires as most places do NOT. He got the tires I wanted ordered and said they would be there in a day or possibly two. He called a day later and said they had them so I made my appointment. I went in on the appointed day. Everyone there was extremely polite, professional and courteous and most importantly they were careful with my car. They took my car in right on time. I watched the technician while he swapped out my tires. He was very careful and deliberate in everything he did. You could tell he knew what he was doing and he was good at it. The job took approximately an hour. When I was paying Eric thanked me again and made sure all questions were answered. I cannot say enough good about the folks at Discount Tire. They earned my trust and my future tire business. Thanks again to all.

All the employees from the technicians to the store manager are great!! They have competitive prices & if they don’t have what you want in stock they can usually get it in very quick. They are always busy, but they apparently are very organized & get the job done fast (in my experience)

Im come here since 2013 they price match any online store they take care of you for sure. free rotation free tire repair if between the limits. I dont like used tires I only buy new tires with warranties because spending an extra $150 its a lot cheaper than losing the day work because of a tire issue. I just got a cut on my side wall it wasnt repairable they put me on brand new tire on for $30 instead of $230. On my other personal car I have two tires going flat in two weeks that was no hole, no crack they said the tires just get old the tread was still excellent I just dont use the car as much as set most of the time in my garage. By the time I came back to pick up my car they put two brand new continental on my car I only had to pay $25 I say the warranty its worth every penny. I almost forgot these guys never break my plastic wheel caps not like the other companies.

I noticed one of my tires slowly deflating the past few weeks and first assumed it was due to the change in weather. I have an upcoming road trip and decided to stop by to get it checked out to be safe and I went in at 5:30pm. Despite being busy and close to closing, the employees at Discount Tire provided excellent service and discovered a screw in my wheel that could have easily caused an issue and fixed the problem quickly. I cant thank them enough for going above and beyond with the service they provided.

Emmanuel (Manny) provided me with possibly the best customer service I have ever received. He went above and beyond to take care of me when I had an issue with some tires a different discount tire location had installed, well into the life of the tire (not Discount Tire’s fault at all). Manny offered to go for a test drive to see what the issue was, and presented a plan to solve the issue I was experiencing once he observed what was happening. Him and his team are extremely personable and you can tell customer service is the number one priority for these guys. I will only be going to the Philips Highway location from now on.

First of all, when I went to this place, I noticed that it was very dirty and disorganized. I asked for help to get information about my tires, but the one who was assisting (the supervisor) and because my English is limited, ignored me, so I asked the general manager and it was much worse because he left me waiting a long time and finally when he answered me, he treated me with a very bad attitude and little knowledge, so I left that store. I went to another place (the competition) where the site was very clean, organized, and they treated me very well and with courtesy also the general manager got someone who speak Spanish and could help me much better, with very good information, and so I was able buy my good tires at a good price and very good guarantee.

I stopped by on a Friday afternoon, 30 mins before closing, because I had a scary highway experience after getting off work, and Torian was quick to get down on the hot pavement, in his nice uniform and mask, and check things out to put me at ease. I kept insisting on making an appointment for the next day but he insisted on getting me in to take a look right then.
