Todays purchase, makes my third car from First Coast. De and Guy were incredible. Same great, easy experience as before. They worked with me several years ago after a divorce resulted in ruined credit, they worked with me when I only had 6 months on the job and was new back in Jacksonville, and they worked with me when I had an extremely limited down payment. They have great cars, good prices and they treat you with respect. If you are looking for a new used car, go check them out, I know you wont be disappointed.

This has been the by far worst experience I have had purchasing a vehicle. May 12th, 2020 we went in and purchased/financed a 2008 F250 super duty. I will start off by saying that the customer service that I received from Dee and Lonnie was awesome. The following day, the vehicle started to smoke. We called and was told to bring it in to the service department on Monday. Saturday, because it was doing so much smoking and putting out fumes, we took it to a repair shop to be diagnosed. We were told that there were quite a few issues issues with the vehicle. On Monday we take it to the dealership service department. The owner comes out and looks at the vehicle. Proceeds to tell my husband that the issue is normal with diesels and that he has one at home. I asked was he going to diagnose the vehicle and that is when everything went left. His reply was he didnt have to. My reply was not inviting being that the down payment and money that we will be spending on the vehicle does not match when you are riding around town smoking and fuming from the tail pipe. Things cooled down and my husband was able to conversate with them and they told us to bring it Tuesday and the minor issues would be fixed. We took it back, sat in Jacksonville all day long only to be told it would not be fixed because the owner didnt like my conversation from the previous day. The owner actually told us to go to another lot and see if we could find something better. So we got into another huge argument and we left. Apparently the owners pride was hurt, because when we got home, he disabled our vehicle so we cant use it. I have children, I missed important physicians visits today, and this whole situation made me lose a contract that I was supposed to work. This is not the place to go. If you make the owner mad, he will disable your car because he cant handle black women with opinions. He called me young lady several times in our conversation. Even when he would address me, you could tell that he look down on women and people of color. The nerve of him to tell us to leave his property when we were only trying to get what we deserve. Our down payment was about half of what the vehicle was worth. We cant use the vehicle or get our money back. And when its time to make a payment we are screwed because we are stuck with owing a bank for something that is deliberately disabled. He want us to know or feel that he has the power to do that. He is a disgusting business man.UPDATE: the vehicle can now be used but we are afraid to go anywhere because we dont know if this will happen again. It is crazy that we now have to continue this contract with this company if they are just able to do these things. I will update the post with videos and photos soon.

Horrible horrible!!!! My boyfriend and I put $1700 down and made every payment on time ( they out them in their system late however I have receipts and bank statement showing differently). They refused to reissue temp tag while paperwork was being finished with the DMV. Lonnie did the original paperwork incorrectly, he had us sign Fl paperwork but we live in GA. Then they defaulted our loan due to this. Attempts made to call and speak about the matter were a waste of time and we both were hung up on...I have filed claims with attorney general and better business bureau. Its tax time and they are trying to make another buck off the same car. Horrible horrible!!!

Easy apply..just be working ..and they do the rest ...its no way you cant get a car at first choice ..the owner is awesome ..youll see

My wife and I just purchased a 2009 Subaru Outback from First Coast last week. Our experience with First Coast was positive throughout the entire process. We had the pleasure of working with Lonnie. Lonnie is both very fun to talk to and also very professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles he is working with. I met several people at First Coast in the process of purchasing my new car and my experience with everyone working at First Coast was very positive. Guy is a fantastic manager and absolute pleasure to work with as well. I truly felt like I made new friends and got myself an amazing vehicle in the process. After buying our new Subaru I drove 1300 miles north through all sorts of weather conditions and all sorts of different types of terrain. I had absolutely no problems. I most definitely would recommend anyone shopping for a new vehicle to check out First Coast. Five Stars all the way!!!! Cant wait to see you guys when we move to Jacksonville!!!

This place is horrible took our down payment of 2300 dollars and disabled the vehicle more than once the owner has control issues he either controls the woman or people around him so he tries to control you and the vehicle you purchase please do not go here

I was referred to this car lot by my uncle who hasnt even received his fee might I add. They were very pleasant and seemed very dedicated on getting me into a vehicle. They stressed that I was in good hands with them. Although the vehicle I picked had very high miles and a very low warranty, I was told I would have an option to refinance through them and use the service department if at some point I had issues. I was most excited about that because I travel for work as well as on the weekends with my family. Not even 3 whole months later, the play play warranty goes and my motor right behind it. The best they will do for me after making all my previous payments and now missing time from work, is going to cost me the price of another vehicle. They are saying that they need to know how invested I am in a vehicle. Despite my trusting in them and investing in this vehicle after I had it checked out at their shop and was given the greenlight to travel more than once. Now they are throwing their hands up like there is nothing they can do and Im speaking foreign language because I cant afford the price they have given me. First Coast, New Deal or whatever they want to go by, are crooks and out for your money with good faces on to make you feel like they care. However, they are money driven just like the bigger dealers where you will at least get what you pay for. It’s all a front. They just tell lies and throw you out in the trash after they get what they want from you. Zero money down is a lie sir and your staff told me that if a major issue occurred that yall would work with me even if I could not pay half. You want me to pay almost as much in repairs as I am paying for the truck that I didnt even have for even three months I stated I needed a vehicle in which I could travel in if I was told that I would have a limited millage to drive per month I would have left that truck right there. If I had $2500 on hand to just give up like you are expecting I wouldnt be financing a vehicle in the first place especially when I had to put a thousand down aswell definitely could have bought a decent vehicle that last more than 3 months for $3500 be for real Mr Guy. You try to make me sound so absurd but tell the whole story you even said yourself you did it for someone else I didnt even hear from you until I first posted this review so dont try to act like you really trying to help me I even found cheaper motors and repairs then what you offered you trying to help yourself not me sir

I was just considering getting a car through first coast auto sales! Reviews arent too bad, but what turns me off is the responses from the owner. Very unprofessional and almost sarcastic and ignorant...how unfortunate. I think I will save myself the trouble & take business elsewhere.

Was ready to buy a car from this place & called to ask details on 3 potential vehicles. Staff was rude, acted like it was a huge inconvenience to give me details on the vehicles I was intetested in, & wanted to argue with me rather than assist me. Good job! Definitely cost you people a sale. *Reply to response: There is no excuse for acting unprofessional & rude employees. I raise 1 star because at least you care enough about your business to reply.

We needed a second vehicle and stopped into First Coast Auto Sales. We were greeted by Willie and he showed us all the vehicles we were interested and was very knowledgeable. Once inside, the General Manager, Ben Mitts, was not only funny and genuine, he was very efficient and wanted to make sure we got into the vehicle that fit our lifestyle instead of pushing us into what they needed to move off the lot. This place may not appear like the bigger well known dealerships from the outside, but inside, they far exceed them all!

Love these guys!!!!! Can’t say enough good about them. ALL their cars are spotless, the sales guy Darrell was so nice and helpful & Jose was so fast & clear about EVERYTHING! Literally bought a car in about two hours, who does that, 1st Coast Auto that’s who!!!!! I would recommend for ANYONE to go to them, good OR bad credit. They did exactly what they said and were a delight to work with! Loving my new baby!

In response to the owners reply on my one star. The previous car being referred to quit working while still being financed through First Coast Auto, so I would say you helped yourself out by getting another car sale out of me, When I lost my job due to the Covid-19 pandemic I reached out to your office on more than one occasion and was advised you were still not deferring payments so I had to make a decision before I started falling behind on my account. My decision was none of your business and you pulling up my personal records to confront me with about the purchase on another vehicle was just used as an opportunity to belittle me in front of your staff when I arrived at your office to surrender the vehicle. That was unprofessional and unbecoming and that is the reasoning behind the one star.

Fantastic car-buying experience. The sales people are wonderful, prices good, selection good and they will work with you to overcome financial challenges. I truly like the sales and finance department. Of course they are there to make money, who isnt? But they are fair about it. You get a clean safe affordable car for a good price.

Great service at first. Everything went well, bought a 2007 Ford Expedition. Drove it off the lot and the check engine light came on the same day. They sell every car with a 3 month/3200 mile warranty. I have spent over a week fighting to get them to honor their warranty and I get every excuse in the book as to why it isnt being taken care of and they will not call you back as they tell you after you try getting answers from them. NOT happy with this outcome and their lies and excuses. I am not recommending these people to anyone if youre expecting them to be truthful or keep their own LEGAL words.

When entering to conduct business, the woman on the phone seemed as if she was bothered by the fact I was even there. She acted as if her phone call was more important than my business. When she did speak it was Welcome to first coast Auto how can I help you, but with aditude. I proceed with Hi and who I was and stated my business. She again acted as if she didnt want to end her call and approached the counter. I was glad when it was and I just wanted to get out of there.

I have purchased several cars fromFirstCoast over the last 15 years. The staff (both sales and service) are very courteous. I would highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a used car for the best price. If they dont have what you are looking for, they will find it for you!!!

Tried to put me in a truck for $11k with over 240,000 miles on it. Found one on Facebook marketplace with 144k for $1600

Originally Guy and Lonnie were able to get me into a Jeep Grand Cherokee but because my husband and I filed for divorce but didn’t go through with it, they decided that because they can’t guarantee we won’t divorce they were raising my down deposit and wouldn’t allow him to be the co-signer. 10/10 don’t recommend. Very unprofessional and super stressful.

I recently bought a white PT cruiser from First Coast Auto and found myself stranded at the Dailys gas station on Chafee road with a flat tire and with my kids! Due to my hatch door not opening therefore, I wasnt able to get to my spare tire. I was really stuck and had called pop a lock but they couldnt help me due to liability reasons, the gentleman, Guy Marvin at First Coast service center went out of his way to help me, Guy brought me a tire, changed my tire to a doughnut took my tire to the shop where Guy and Brian took my rim off the old tire got me a new one and had it waiting for me when I got there. Now you tell me what dealership will do that for their customers? And did I mention it was after hours and they were closed. I always receive amazing service when I go there, they always get me in the same day with little wait time and are always courteous and professional. I really appreciate the fact that they know what their doing and are always kind enough to explain things so that you understand what your getting done and what they are fixing for you. Brian is always nice and willing to help answer any questions about your vehicle and has helped us on many occasions with minor problems with our vehicle. I would highly recommend getting a vehicle from First Coast as they care about their customers and take really good care of you both sales and repair. I will definitely be buying from them again I would give them 10 stars but sadly there is only five. Thank you First Coast Auto Sales for making me feel like a customer and not just a number.

Suck got a car. 2nd day had to take back to get fix and was told nothing is wrong. Car still stop for no reason .paid alot of car payment but got tired of buying parts and paying car payments. Toke it to dealer of make of car Car was duct tape. together in many places after i let car go first coast call and said the mech take they send me to was fired and did try to help but i Got a better car(truck) that have not have any bad issue three yr later .....

I wouldnt even give this place a star they lied to me from the start gave them 3500 and they said I was financed 8 days later after all the paperwork and money exchanged on a Friday at 4pm they tell me oh ur not financed these people lied about how much money I could put down at first then I had to put more down then I had repaired the headlight which in a 2013 Ford fusion u have to take the whole bumper off and not reimbursed for any of it I was then told they couldnt give me my money back till Monday so they have the car I have paperwork and they have my money they are not upfront about anything and they sit in the office discussing my business Bills and money and acxounts in front of other customers from across the room I have opened a 3rd party disclosure claim on them and intend to pursue it not respectable people. Please dont waste ur time to be lied to they are crooks. Take it business to affordable consignment right down the road they are awesome and honest bought a 2013 dodge charger only 40,000 miles for 1,000 less then the fusion gave me car and waiting on first coast to be honest and give me my money back
