I have been using auto maintenance plus for about five years now. Every time that I have had service through them I have been blown away by their service and dedication to their customers. If you are looking for a honest mechanic these guys are it George and his crew go above and beyond to help save the customer time and money when it comes to repairs for their vehicle. I can go on and on about each and every encounter or opportunity that I have had to work with these guys. Each time that I have had a car issue I’m dreading about the price and what it’s going to cost but each time I have been surprised of the outcome of the diagnostics that they perform. These guys aren’t going to sell you something that you don’t need they are going to get you on the road for a decent price with excellent service and a commitment to their customers. I would not choose any other service in this town. There was one time that I was having an exhaust issue with a vehicle of mine I was thinking that I was going to have to replace my entire exhaust manifold And it turned out to be something simple and I wasn’t even charged for their service. So to be simply put if you’re looking for an honest and fair and hard-working mechanic shop these guys are it take my word for it.

This is, hands down, the BEST automotive repair shop in Jacksonville and everywhere else! My family has used Auto Maintenance Plus for several years. Took my car up there several times to get it serviced even after making an appointment and they kept pushing my service back farther and farther while I was still in my mile warranty I eventually had to come out of pocket and start servicing my own vehicle then when I finally got them to take my car in the shop and service it they tried to tell me I was out of my mile warranty and wanted me to pay them I took a look at my car and it still wasnt fully serviced and still ran bad even after I paid I would never recommend this place to anyone worst experience with a mechanic shop Ive ever had

Auto Maintenance Plus was the third shop I took my car to after the other two couldn’t figure out what was wrong. George and the guys figured it out in 24 hours and worked with my travel schedule to repair the car while I was out of town. All employees here have a very bad attitude.I would not suggest you bring your car here. Poor customer service is provided, you want to spend your money somewhere where you feel good about the result, this place is not it, I would suggest you take your service else where.

My husband, children, in laws, and I were visiting Jacksonville for vacation when our Yukon XL began shutting off on us. Im from Jax and so my parents and most of my family are still there. George does all the maintenance on my parents vehicles and my dad gave him a call. Even though George was all booked up, he said to bring it in and hed take a look at it. We dropped it off Thursday evening and were able to pick it up Friday all fixed!!! We had to head back home on Saturday, so it was such a blessing having George and his crew go out of their way to repair our vehicle. A shop i actually trust! Ive been here a handful of times. They honor warranties! Example, i had a fuel pump replaced with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty. I was 10 months in and WELL over 20,000 miles when the pump failed again. They actually went above the warranty and only charged me labor to replace it. On 2 other occasions theyve had a vehicle of mine with the request to check it nose to tail, if it needs anything, let me know, both times they cleared it of needing any further maintenance. This is a vehicle with over 170,000 miles on it and both times theyve been given an opportunity to scam me and clearly, they didnt. If my vehicle needs arent covered by manufacturer warranty, this is the place i go! Every shop has a wait time, so be prepared. They do their best to be quick but hardly anything needing a repair these days gets done in a day or 2. Just know youre in good hands and if they say your vehicle needs something, IT DOES.

They dont deserve 1 star...I went to them with my own parts struts and George said 250 to put on.an hour after having my car.he calls and said he need another part to finish the job.so more money.i said okay. Another hour later told me the back parts dont fit..so I add more money on to the bill..then anothe hour later George gonna call and tell me the struts dont fit at all..I can get the whole set from him for 700 and change or I can pay 125 for them to put back on.i needed my car fix so I agreed..then George called my back and said I need 3 tires cause the ones I had dont match my car.thats another 150 I had to pay out of pocket..so when I was only gonna pay 250 to fix my car plus my parts 120..I ended up spending almost 1000..at this place..and when I got my car back I was missing 4 lug nutts off my rims.and the boxes or parts I supplied was never opened..so how did they know if my parts didnt fit if they never opened the boxes?? They straight scammed me because I feel Im a women and we dont know any better..But I can see if a box was opened or not.it was still taped up.no hand grease Marks on it.so I would advise to never go there.....thank you
