I was a professional photographer in Jacksonville, NC and have worked with Something Bleu Bridal House on several occasions. Lauren and her team are so professional. This place is hands down, the best quality for bridal dresses, prom dresses, accessories, suits, and service in Eastern NC. After doing a few styled shoots with them it was a no brainer to use them when my son and I needed to rent suits for our own family pictures. As a customer the experience I had with them from consultation, fitting, to pick up and returning our rental was top notch. Everything fit and looked great! If youre a future bride or even a senior going to their high school prom, the process of choosing and purchasing your dress is an important memory. I can only imagine how great of an experience it must be for future brides getting their dream dress from this amazing team. Dont settle for anything less than Something Bleu Bridal House!

I had a wonderful time! That was my first wedding dress shopping experience. I am so glad I found this place first! The ladies there are kind and helpful!My advice is bring supportive friends/family. I brought my mom and two of my best friends, they were supportive and helped me feel pretty! I finally narrowed it to two dresses and said YES to my dress! The ladies at Something Bleu treated my daughter like an absolute princess! I was introduced to Something Bleu while at a Wedding Expo. The company provided the dresses for a fashion show during the event, which I was really impressed with so I booked an appointment.This was my first time shopping for my bridal gown so I didn’t know what to expect; however I knew I didn’t want an experience like David’s Bridal (went there with a friend to look for her gown) where it seems like you’re only a number and it’s a mad house with brides trying on gowns. Instead with Something Bleu I got a personalized session with Lauren who was very pleasant and a master at her skill! Being that I sent my wish list the day before she already had a number of beautiful gowns ready for me to try on.I loved the layout of the shop! The environment was very cozy which made me very comfortable. The whole team was very courteous and helpful as well. I had other upcoming appointments for bridal gown shopping, but had to cancel them because I found my gown the same day!! Thank you Something Bleu for such a great experience. I know my wedding day will be even more special because I have the perfect dress.

Oh my goodness! I had the privilege of booking a premium appointment at Something Bleu Bridal this weekend and I couldn’t have had a better experience. First of all, I was greeted with the yummiest mimosas, what bride doesn’t want that? Lauren and I had spoken at length ahead of the appointment so she knew exactly what dresses to pull for me! Lauren even found a few variations I didn’t consider that I loved. I felt like she listened and provided extremely knowledgeable insight into the dresses. This is something you only do once and I couldn’t have picked a better consultant! Thank you so much to Lauren and Something Bleu Bridal!

I came in with a friend for her bridal appointment in September of 2020. Lauren was amazing and completely nailed exactly what my friend was looking for. The store was clean and I felt very comfortable shopping in the midst of a pandemic. They even took the time to put her name on a welcome board! It felt very personal and made it a very clear that they truly value their customers!!

I picked this store just out of convenience so my family could come with me while we were together for Easter and I could not be happier with that decision. The store is beautiful and I felt so comfortable and relaxed despite going in fairly certain that I wouldn’t find my dress that day. I loved the dresses that were pulled before we even arrived for my appointment and ended up choosing the second dress I tried on. I cannot say enough how great my experience was here.

Today I walked into the most beautiful wedding shop with the most gorgeous dresses and the most amazing service! My daughter and I walked in and we received such a warm welcome as she tried on wedding dresses, and was treated like a queen. She was able to try on the most amazing dresses and said yes to the dress! She was able to find a veil and shoes as well! On top of that I found my mother of the bride dress. All the while the service was impeccable. To walk out after the most wonderful service, with all of these things purchased, and to be amazed at the price being so reasonable felt like I had won the lottery! To not go to this shop will be a crime! I cannot give Something Bleu Bridal Shop a higher review!

I really enjoyed my experience here. Sandra was so helpful picking dresses for me after I described what I was looking for. She listened to what I needed and was happy to help me find pieces of each dress that I liked and described how I could use all of those pieces in a custom dress.

Came here in search of a particular designer for my bridesmaids! They had so many options and such knowledgeable information! I had a large bridal party and they helped everyone at different times and schedules and received all dresses in time! Also they have the nicest employees!

Found my dress dress at Something Bleu today! Their staff was helpful, patient, and attentive. I started out with a vision in my head for my dress and having been to a few boutiques before was feeling doubtful I would find the one today. But Bri was patient and helped me try on several dresses before I realized I was into a different style than I originally thought. Bri was thorough and explained the options with each different style in regards to color options and alteration ideas. Throughout the appointment I felt listened to and never felt a dress was being forced on me. To any future brides looking for a boutique to explore, definitely stop and shop at Something Bleu!

I went by myself the first time and the sales associate, who’s name on the receipt was Brianna, she was so helpful and kind and she really understood me more the more we talked and she truly understood what I wanted even though I didn’t even truly know! I came back with my mother in law and she picked out a lot more dresses and Brianna was completely patient and helpful she let me try on more then 20 dresses and talked to me about each one and I fell in love with the one I got midway but she still helped me narrow it down (especially because it’s hard for me to make decisions) she truly was amazing and I completely recommend this employee and establishment to anyone because I am not an easy person on making decisions on items that cost a good amount of money because I am such a mr. krabs about money but I had to have the dress it was perfect on my body and such a gorgeous masterpiece. Even though there were plenty of other gorgeous dresses and the headings on them were miraculous I had to have the one I got!!!!

If you want to feel like you are in an episode of Pretty Woman where you get belittled, this is the place for you. Salesgirl was arrogant and didnt listen to a single thing I had to request when it came to my desires for a dress. She was extremely worried about my budget more than helping me. She told me she had already hit her quota and made her bonus so she would be the one to help me when she called me the day prior to survey what I was looking for. We were out of there within 15 minutes and I guarantee you, no one that I know will be heading in to this storeany time soon. Heck No I wouldnt recommend this store.Hmm only took you 5 days to respond to my review. Ive already found another shop that was amazing and bought a dress in a little higher range than I budgeted. I did do the day before survey and all I can say is RUDE, bad service!

I had the pleasure of attending a premium appointment this past Sunday as a MOH while my bestie tried on dresses. We were served champagne and snacks and treated like queens! There were so many beautiful styles to choose from. My friend had something specific in mind and our very knowledgeable consultant, Lauren, pulled multiple options that were gorgeous. It made it hard to choose! At the end of the appointment my friend said YES to a gorgeous dress and we left so happy having just had such a perfect day. I recommend booking a premium appointment: it made the day feel super special. I am so excited to get engaged now! I can’t wait for my turn in those dresses!

I had a great experience here picking out a suit for my wedding. The customer service was outstanding and the atmosphere was welcoming. My visit made me look forward to putting on the suit for that momentous day.

This is the perfect example of why I have seldom felt the need or desire to travel outside of town if there is not a reason to. Having raised 4 kids here in Jacksonville, it led to… 8 proms (jr. & sr.) and easily over 12 homecomings with the need for tuxes and formal dresses and gowns (Oh, and I almost forgot about a few Marine Corps balls I needed gowns for myself before my husband retired). Without hesitation, we always went right there, same location for every one of them. Suddenly, here I am finding myself coming back to the same place with a new look and different name. Only this time its for my oldest sons wedding and I find myself in need of tuxes, accessories and things for my future daughter in law, etc. I made certain to get her name, as she has helped me now on two separate occasions. Each time, Sandra went out of her way to help us with all the little details, questions, uncertainties, decisions, and everything else! Absolutely delightful! One of the visits, being a Saturday, it was immensely busy there. Nevertheless, she still found a way to be oh so polite and helpful, to go above and beyond to do whatever she could to help and although it was hidden behind her mask, I am certain she was smiling at some point. She certainly brought a smile to my face (smothered by my mask), as she reminded me of the value of customer service and care, what makes local businesses special and why supporting them is so important! As crazy and hectic as life may get, it is a wonderful feeling to know that there are people who want to make your life just a little bit easier. I could not be more pleased! Thank you so very much!

My consultant yesterday was Bri. As a postpartum Mom, I didn’t expect to find MY DRESS that day. Well I did, and I feel so good in it. Bri was understanding of my concerns and made sure to cater to them. I can’t wait to marry my best friend and she reminded me of that, by keeping the experience so happy and pleasant. We had set an appointment and told them that we would be looking for a short formal dress. We drove an hour to this dress shop just for them to tell us they don’t have any available. Also they wouldn’t allow us upstairs to see what they had. Costumer service was awful and had a very small selection to choose from when online that had variety to choose from.

I never expected to find my dress today. You all were so wonderful. Sandra, however, was remarkable! If not for her I wouldn’t have left today with my dream princess wedding gown 🥰

My experience here was phenomenal! My party and I were immediately greeted once we walked in. I went in not really knowing what I liked and what I didn’t, and Lauren knew exactly what dresses to pull so I could get an idea of every style. The staff and new owner are amazing and personable! November 2020, we were referred to Something Bleu. Upon entering, my mom and I were taken aback at how beautiful the place is. Clean and well kept and the displays were amazing. Megan, was the first to greet us and was very patient and helpful as I explained what I was looking for in a gown for my upcoming Quinceanera. We finally narrowed it down and Megan sent out the information. My mom received a phone call from Lauren that week to say that the main dress I wanted was no longer in production. Of course, my mom panicked-LOL!! But, Lauren explained that out of the three dresses, one is actually in stock. Relieved, my mom told Lauren to go ahead and order it. A few days later, Lauren calls my mom, the dress, due to its size (4), would have to sent out for production as they dont have that size in stock. Mom panicking again and Lauren rest assured everything would be alright. We paid the deposit and Lauren rushed the order. It was to arrive sometime in April. February 11, 2021, Lauren contacts my mom, I have some excellent news for you! The Quince dress has arrived early!!! Oh, we were so happy! We scheduled a Saturday to be fitted and omgoodness!!! The dress is more than what we bargained for! Absolutely worth every single penny!!! Lauren was so helpful in getting me into the dress as it has multiple layers AND she even helped with some beautiful earrings and necklace! I bought my shoes from there as well. All I can say is, if youre looking for a dress for whatever occasion, you wont be disappointed with Lauren, the staff or its gowns, shoes and accessories. The professionalism was way beyond what we expected. My mom and I were treated as if we have been going to this business for years. All I can say is 5 starts isnt enough! And come Prom in 2024, I truly hope Something Bleu and Lauren are still in business, as this is the place I will be returning to for my next big event. She was very rude and didn’t let my mother up there with me to try on or touch my dress. She would ask what I would like and I told her and she come up with the complete opposite! Great formalwear rental options for men!

As soon as I walked in I immediately felt belittled and felt beneath of the two women that worked there. The whole time they kept looking me up and down asking if I was buying today and if I could even afford a dress. I was just looking for a nice formal dress for the military ball coming up and they really made me feel pretty low. Do not recommend this place at all.

We went here to buy a dress for the Marine Corps Ball. Everyone was really nice and helpful. It has a relaxed atmosphere and I loved the fact they gave us time and space to look around. We didnt feel pressured or rushed like we have felt in other dress stores. They were very knowledgable and we will definitely come back in the future when needed. The prices were also very fair and affordable.

I went here despite the bad reviews because they seemed to have a large selection online. However, when I went there the woman who helped me was very rude and difficult to talk to. Im guessing she is either the owner or a manager, because when I tried to explain what I wanted to another associate, she interrupted and told the other associate not to help me. She didnt listen to what I said and I eventually left out of frustration. That and their selection was all the same two or three types of dress over and over again.EDIT:So when I was there, describing the type of dress I wanted to wear (no rhinestones or sequins, no see-through material, shows off my figure, not something everyone could wear and/or pull-off...) I was told straight up I would NEVER find such a dress, it doesnt exist. Lo and behold, I went to the Second Chance Consignment store and my first time there saw the perfect dress. Right away-- no sequins, rhinestones, or anything gaudy to me. Tasteful and modest without looking like a gown for a funeral or obscuring my figure. Not only that, but I got comments all night on how stunning I looked and how cool my gown was. So guess what? The customer really is always right.

The staff knows what is in the store and if you have an idea they will help you figure it out. My wedding dress was exactly what I wanted! I was able to describe what was in my head and they made it happen. My Maid of Honor also got her dress there. I adore this place, I wish I had more reasons to shop there.

They have a big array of dresses for all occasions! It is more on the pricey side, but I definitely recommend checking this store out. Staff was helpful too.

They could not get the wedding dress on time. It was ordered in May and we were told that we would have it August 5. WRONG!!! It still wasnt here by August 20. We required a refund, got it then went to Greenville. Got the dress and had an appointment for alterations the same day. The second dress was prettier and cheaper, even with the rush alterations. Visit is store at your own risk and have a backup plan if you do. Please, read ALL the reviews.

Nice dresses, just the staff.Some of the staff was very polite and helpful, another individual,bad attitude. Especially when I wanted to try on some shoes with the dress I was interested in, the lady at the front desk seemed like she didnt want me to try them on. Said that the owner doesnt want customers to try on the shoes unless they purchased them and that the customer would worn out the shoe If they tried them on. . Also when I was in the process of trying on a potential prom dress I was interested in (2 piece), instead of properly helping me when she first saw me, she immediately stopped and said Um you cant wear a two piece to prom, what are you doing?, thats not how its supposed to go, its a 2 piece!

My daughter and I had been to a couple of other shops and it was 15 min. before they closed when we go to classics, we were just gonna run in and see what they had and come back another day. The two girls there were so very helpful and not at all upset that we had walked in that late. WBelieve it or not my daughter told the sales girl what she was looking for, she pulled a couple dresses and the very first one she pulled my daughter fell in love with. So we are very happy with Classics and will definitely recommend them to everyone.

I got my prom dress here as a high schooler and had a great experience, so I came back for my wedding dress and explained, showed pictures of what I wanted and they found something that was so exactly close to what I had pictured in my head, Kayla was great my dress was beautiful and all of my bridesmaids and maid of honor got their dresses there, however every time I go in no one can ever find the information to make payments on my girls dresses and they refused to order anyone’s dresses until everyone made a down payment so they all fake out the “same color” which made no sense to me if they were being ordered by the same company with the same fabric but nonetheless they guaranteed they would be in within 4 months, not too long ago they said they would be in the 19th of November but when I went in last time they said they hadn’t even been ordered yet and our wedding is in February. So I feel very conflicted about them I also don’t like that they don’t do alterations but their dress selection is fabulous.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Bridesmaids ordered dresses OVER 4 months before my event, 2 months before my wedding they say they cant get the dresses in time. Somehow all the other places I called could get the exact dress custom made and in if we paid extra for a rush order, but classics could/would not do anything to help except offer to refund our order, or try to get something that matches what you want. How can other stores get it in time and they cant? We will NEVER use this store again. Its worth the drive to go out of town.

The owner is extremely rude, thankfully she employs a few very nice and polite employees. The dress selection isnt the greatest and they dont do on site alterations. Should you happen to find a dress be sure to take it with you that day because if you are making payments often the garments are not what you originally tried on. They will include stains and ripped fabric.

Because we decided that we didnt want the dress they took it upon there self to keep our deposit and refuse to give it back I would not recommend anyone to go there because apparently they needed that money more then pleasing their customers so I would think twice before going to that place very sad they want refund the money when ur spending every bit to have the wedding of ur dreams so hope u enjoy the money maybe they need it to pay one of there bills so maybe I need to contact my lawyer because I want my refund back if I didnt want the dress and wanted to check some where else thats my right so they should refund me not keep the money

I had such a wonderful experience, i found my dress and they were so helpful. I didnt read the reviews bc we were on a time crunch. We were able to buy it right off the rack and perfection doesnt even compare. They had so many selections. I would definitely bring my friends here for their wedding dress experience.

Although I had read all of the awful reviews I decided to go and take a look for myself. The staff was very friendly and welcomed me as soon as i step into the doorway. The two women at the front desk immediately asked if they could help me and I explained that I wasnt going to buy today but I had a few questions about a dress. Not only did they have the dress in stock and find it almost immediately but they pulled it from stock to double check if it were correct. It was and I was thrilled! They then proceeded to answer all of my other questions and were very knowledgeable. They carried on a conversation with me and it was just a very pleasant experience. Im very glad I decided to check it out for myself.

Stopped in looking for a dress today. Was briefly given an overview of the dress selection and then I was asked “what kind of price range are you set on?” When I said we didn’t really have one the woman replied “I just don’t want you to fall in love with a $500 dress and then can’t afford it” I was immediately turned off. It came across as rude and tacky. We left shortly after.

I ordered a wedding dress in June 2018. I was told it would return in August. I had to call them and the manager stated they attempted to call me once, without a msg left. Mgr conveniently used the hurricane for not contacting me, despite the storm did not take place until September 11th. Needless to say, no apologies no compassion or accountability for their lacking. I do not recommend this store. Only reason they have received a two rating is bc Kayla did a phenomenal job at assisting me with finding the perfect dress.

Never again will I buy a dress from here. I originally came in and tried on a bunch of dresses and I had Kacey, she was very friendly and helped me find the dress I liked. Everything was going perfect until the day I went and put my last payment on my dress.I was so excited when I went home to go show my older sister, when I pulled it out of the bag it was to my surprise there was a good size rip in the seem that was not there when I had put my original payment down on it. My sister, who was then worried continued looking at the dress only to find stains at the bottom of my dress. How do you take someones hard earned money and sell them a ruined dress, I was in teArs. Only with a few days left before prom Im left with a ripped stained dress. While they paid to get it dry cleaned there were still some stains that wouldnt come out and they could not fix the tear. For as much as I paid for this dress and the shape it was in, I will never come back and Ill be sure to tell others to steer clear to avoid running into the same issue.
