0/10 WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, when getting married I was interested in this store at the avenues mall. I loved sparkles so it caught my eye when walking by. I was belittled by the owner and she stated I was to big for her dresses and I was not allowed to try any on. This was pre COVID. I was about 180 pounds and 5 foot. I ended up walking out with tears in my eyes. Everyone knows getting married is stressful so to have this experience did not help. Also, you never know what a person is going through so no one should talk to another human the way they spoke to me. I would advise you to go anywhere but here.

Don’t waste your time here. Walked in and was not acknowledged or offered any assistance even though they have signs that say “don’t touch.” No customer service.

The lady was really friendly and my friend found the perfect dress. I would reccomend this store.

Absolutely loved this place. I went in there looking for a prom dress, didn’t really have a budget but I wanted to still be considerate of how much I was spending. The dress that caught my eye was almost $400. The ladies working told me if I didn’t find another dress they would give me 20% off the dress in their store. Nothing caught my eye like the dress in their store did. So I went back but I still wasn’t able to get it so I got emotional because prom was a week away at that point. The dress fit me just right and I didn’t need to get any alterations. They let me take the dress for $250 even. The ladies working were so kind and generous. 10/10 recommend shopping at AWS if you’re looking for a beautiful dress.

Very rude staff and super pushy. Me and my fiance went to ask a question about one of the dresses and she stopped us before we could say anything and said the dress was $800 dollars and walked off. So we set there confused as to why she didnt let us ask a question that was different from the price so when we went up to her to ask why she answered us without knowing what we were going to ask she got an attitude and said she doesnt want to argue and called security. I get better customer service at McDonalds I would advise never to shop here youll thank me later.

My cousin was looking for a wedding dress within a tight budget. The lady helping us was extremely kind. She offered my cousin a discount because my cousin couldn’t find one she liked in her budget. She helped us every step of the way.

Fun and wonderful Experience picking out my wedding dress. The manager and all employees were very helpful. My dress fit perfect and I said yes to the dress 🙌🏻

If I could give a zero I would. Walked in looking for a dress for an event. My boyfriend was with me. We both had cups of water with lids. Saleslady looked me up and down and said if I wanted to shop I needed to put my water on the counter or leave. No greeting. Nothing. Just RUDENESS. I only reviewed in hopes the owner sees just so she knows her rudeness cost the business a sale that day since I turned around and walked right back out and spent my money elsewhere.

My mom and I were searching for a dress very last minute and the sales lady was very helpful. We were the only customers at the store because it was a Tuesday night, so we were fortunate to recieve good service. My mom asked about any dresses for a pageant and the lady looked for the entire store for a dress in our price range. We did have to settle for a dress that was a bit pricey, but it was understandable because of the quality of the dress. The sales lady had me try it on in the fitting room and I was very lucky it fit perfectly because that dress only had one size. She assisted me in putting on the dress, just in case something were to happen. Completely understandable, especially since it’s expensive and delicate. Then she brought me out in front of the mirror and podium to see how it fit. She also brought out shoes for me to walk in to see how the dress looks with shoes.The dress has to be tailored because it is quite long on me, but she did work with us on how to get a discount for it. She also allowed us to space out payments.I think the problem some of these reviews have is not being able to understand that the sales people are foreign and being patience and nice to them is always greatly appreciated. AWS was overall very helpful and kind for my experience.

I went here today with my mom to look for a prom dress and i’ve never felt so attacked in a store before. You cant even touch a dress to look at it without them the staff following you around and watching you like a hawk. They were very rude and not at all helpful. Their dresses are very over priced, they had a dress on display I thought was too cute, but they didn’t have anything like it in their selection. While their dresses are beautiful no one is going to pay 700 dollars for a dress they’re ilk wear one time. They should consider renting out dresses or fixing their prices.

This was the worst experience when me and my friend walked in we were Shopping for prom dresses and the lady came up and Says nothing but proceeds to take our drinks and tell us she’s going to put them up for us.And was basically breathing down our neck the whole time. then we wanted to try on a dress she try’s to come up with excuse why she can’t let us try to dress on then we she finally realize that she couldn’t she decide to Let us try them on .and she stood outside of our dressing room the entire time then tried to pull my friends dress off when we were done trying them on. Then we were leaving we saw that our drinks were sitting on a stool outside of the store. we had a door drinks away because we was in there for a good 15 to 20 minutes ain’t no telling what somebody did our dreams . This store honestly needs to be shut down for its customer service. ItHad a nice products but she was so rude to the point U can’t stand to support them in any way.

I went to AWS and they were very helpful. They were able to help me find the perfect prom dress and it was exactly what I was looking for. In these reviews it says a lot about not allowing drinks inside the store... this is because employees don’t want to deal with spilt drinks all over the dresses. I will definitely go back and I had a great experience.

The woman working in this store is the rudest woman I have ever met in my life. She actually went as far as to say that my sister was too fat for a dress. And then forced her to try on a size that was larger, and then when she tried on the dress it didnt fit. Her name was jade or jay something like that. When my sister tried on the xl it didnt even fit. She needed the large in the other dress that she actually wanted.

I wish I could give a 0 star rating. Went in to look at a wedding dress that was in the window.. went in and very politely asked how much the dress was and who the designer was. She told me it was 2200$ and I asked her if it was okay if I could get a closer look at the dress. She looked me up and down and said no, and told me I could have a brochure instead..... I was legitimeltly interested and because this woman was so rude and would not even allow me to LOOK at the dress because she... judged me? I will gladly take me money elsewhere and I would highly advise against anyone shopping at this store. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Their loss for a big purchase, not mine.

Amber was a dream to work with!My best friend and I are both engaged and were in search of wedding dresses, we came in on a Sunday but because it is prom season and she had more than one group trying on dresses we stuck with some white/off white prom dresses for the day and I found my wedding dress. The following day we were back and forth between AWS and david’s Bridal and amber didn’t mind at all and we got to try on wedding dresses without issue. She was super sweet and honest and so so so helpful. I could not be more grateful for her input over the past two days.Thank you so much!Look guys, prom season is hectic, stores like this do their best to accommodate their clients, but if you come in on a busy day just be patient and browse a bunch while you wait. They want to ensure their dresses are not ruined by outside drinks, they want to make sure the dresses stay ready to sell when multiple people are trying them on, and they want to help you find something that is worth what you want to pay.Retail jobs suck sometimes so please don’t take it to heart if little things like most of these reviews come up.Over all I love how my visits went.

I would give this place a -5 star review if i could. I never leave reviews for stores, so this accounts for a lot in and of itself. My friend and i were searching for dresses for our winter formal which is in December. We walked into this store because the fancy dresses in the window caught our eye. However, looks can be very deceiving. First, we were stalked by the employee who was a petite asian woman in mid-40’s, (we did not get her name). We had walked by this store earlier in the day before deciding to check it out and thought it was closed because there were no customers at all in the store. After both of us found a beautiful dress that we were planning on purchasing, we asked to try them on. The lady immediately told us to come back in January, she would not let us try them on. After telling her multiple times that our dance was in DECEMBER, she refused to believe us. My friend then asked very politely if we could just try them on quickly, and she responded with “we’re too busy okay?.” I repeat, we were the ONLY ones in the store. We were not only shocked by her lack of customer service, but appalled. After leaving the store, we immediately looked up the website to try and find the phone number of the owner. This kind of representation is UNACCEPTABLE and it will NOT be tolerated. I wasn’t even surprised to find out that many MANY other reviews have been published of this particular employee’s service and how they would have purchased from this store had they not been judged and discriminated against. So my question to the owner would be, why has this woman not been let go? After this startling encounter at AWS, we walked over to Windsor. It’s run by teens, however we were provided with EXCEPTIONAL service and the staff was so helpful and considerate!! Even brought us dresses to our rooms to try on. AWS, take lessons.

The first time I visit I was alone just looking at style, one the employees asked me if I needed help and told me they didn’t have anything like what I was showing them and sized me up and down when asking about my price range which made me uncomfortable my second visit was so much better I went in with my girlfriend and we were helping by a delightful employee she asked permission before she sized my waist and even asked about my clothing sizes and gave me some different sizes in the dresses I like while looking around she gave me dress suggestions to help with my bust size and went out of her way to help us.

Today I walked in to the store for the second time and I was afraid that I wont find a prefect dress to wear for my friends sweet 15s and the nicest lady help me find a beautiful dress and I was thankful for her help:) and I love her honesty too.If youre looking for a prom dress or party dress then I recommend you to go this store at the avenues mall.

WARNING ! STAY AWAY ! DONT SHOP HERE ! Especially for prom. We picked up the first dress to look at when a lady appears and starts scolding my daughter saying you need bigger size, only stretchy material, only on that rack you get.She takes the dress holds it up to her and says see not wide enough. She needs 3 XL maybe not even big enough. That is not my daughters size in any brand and even if it would have been thats not the way you treat anyone. This lady was so loud, so rude, so ridiculous, so humiliating ! I dont know how this owner is in business. This woman needs a serious lesson in customer service !

I found a dress today after a long day search I wasnt very comfortable with my weight in many dresses Ive tried on for the day but I was tempted to just leave and give up prom :( but the ladys that worked in there were so sweet and kind I felt so loved honestly She insisted a dress that was way out my comfort zone and I was in love i finally found my dress and Im so thankful for their help they really make you feel beautiful

When I went in the store this lady came up to us and we asked to see the dress i liked and then she tells me the price of the dress and all I asked for was to see a dress then me and my family started to leave we didn’t feel right about how she treated us while we were in the store so we went back inside to confront the worker and as I started to explain why we just left like that she started screaming at us so we screamed back then she goes and calls security so we waited for security and we explained our self this is to say the owners of this store is racist because when you go in there they stalk you as if your gonna steal something and she told us the price as if I was poor because I have skin colour

My experience with AWS was very nice. I shop at the Avenues alot and have seen the store through passing. When I was thinking of places to shop for my pageant dress, I immediately thought of AWS.Although the staff was breathing on my mom and Is neck a little more than necessary, they were very helpful with finding me a dress that fit well and looked great against my skin tone. I would recommend this store to others.

This store deserves a -5 star review. these people are extremely rude and pushy. the prom dresses they have are beautiful, but i just cant let myself support this store. one of the women that was working, an older lady, would just not leave us alone and then had the nerve to say i needed a 3XL dress and forced me to try it on. ive never worn a 3XL in my life!! ive never worn a 2XL in my life!!!! unsurprisingly, it didnt fit. she wanted to help me try on every dress like i had never put on a dress before. i can use a zipper! i can lace a dress!! im not stupid! i then said that we were going to leave and come back so i could do some more shopping and she just kept pushing that her dress was the best. overall, absolutely horrid service. i will be spending my money elsewhere and i hope they know they lost a sale on a $400 dress today.

Went to the store with my fiancé, dresses were great prices. With that said, one of the ladies working was rude and extremely pushy. She kept talking about competitive prices and changing it when my fiancé expressed a desire to put it on hold and look at other dresses. By far the worst customer service I have ever had.

I was taking my daughter shopping for a prom dress and everything was going well. The employees actually picked the dress she choose to buy. My problem was when I asked if they could hold it for a little bit because we were going to pick up a few more items. They talked back in fourth in their launage and finally said an hour. I have always thought when you hold an item for someone they put it behind the counter, we came back less than thirty minutes later and we walked in and the lady at the register looked at me like oh your back. They put the dress back on the rack thinking I was not wanting to buy it. I will not shop there again, thet were very disrespectful when I bought it.

LovelyLeo66 had a very lovely experience at AWS. My daughter was looking for her ballgown for her senior prom. Although the dresses in other department stores were beautiful, she just didn’t see one that popped out at her. We decided to go to AWS before settling on the one she liked most at a major department store. We were greeted very warmly. My daughter found a beautiful, yellow (her favorite color) ballgown that she fell in love with from the start. It fit her perfectly except for a minor adjustment that needed to be done. The beautiful owner/manager offered to make the adjustment for me free of charge, which I accepted because I cannot sew at all. Greatly appreciated the customer service my daughter and I received at AWS! 5 stars ⭐️ 🌟 💫!!

I gave a single star because none was not an option. The sales people were very rude and judgemental. One followed me and my son around the entire store as if I was tryjng to steal something. Shut the dressing room door in my face while I was consulting with my mother about the type dress she was wanting. Extremely unprofessional.
