The windows themselves took 8-9 weeks to come in but thats likely due to the pandemic plus theyre manufactured out of state so it was expected. Otherwise, once the windows came in the installation was complete in roughly 5-6 hours and they dealt with a very old bay window with extensive wood rot. Everyone knows windows are expensive but they honestly were the best price for quality we could find in town.. Highly recommend and will come back to finish the rest of the old windows.

I cannot speak more highly of the customer service Homerite provided. From the first phone call, they scheduled my estimate and communicated with me in a timely fashion. The representative arrived on time for the estimate and was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I scheduled the Installation right away and found that process to be equally efficient. The installer said he would arrive at 9am and he arrived right on time. He completed the job efficiently and the doors are beautiful. Highly recommend!!

While shopping around to replace ALL of the windows in our home we discovered that we just couldnt afford it no matter how hard HomeRite tried so it was suggested to do it in stages starting with the front of the house. This was beneficial 2 fold in that it not only improved our curb appeal but also had the biggest impact on our energy bill due to our house facing West where the evening sun generates most of the heat in the summer afternoons. This is the second time I have used HomeRite to replace my windows. The first was several years ago on a previous home and I found them by chance (and luck!) in one of the local coupon magazines. I used them again this time for windows and two patio doors because they did such a s great job last time and were very friendly. The windows and doors made such a difference in the temperature in my home and I am sure I will see the savings in my electric bill in the next couple of months when the weather warms up. I had an issue with one pesky screen not fitting this time and Joe, their salesman, was always responsive and brought the new screens to my house each time until it was perfect. The true test of a business is not just in their pricing and competitiveness (they were lower than a few other competitors), but its in their responsiveness to their customers and how they treat you after the sale. A+ rating from me! I would highly recommend HomeRite.

UPDATE: Home Rite has came by and fixed the windows. I am very satisfied with the service Rich has provided. The windows are better than ever.FIRST REVIEW:I am very disappointed with this service. I was trying to get some window parts repaired/replaced for a property at City Place. Mark agreed that he would be able to come out, but never showed. Im not sure if he was just super busy. But we really needed the windows fixed so I went to Window Rite to speak to somebody.Cody was nice enough to come out and take a look at the windows that day to get an estimate so that the parts could be ordered. I followed up with Mark the following Monday to ensure he received it, we agreed on a price and he said he would get the parts ordered. About a week and a half later I followed up to see if the parts were received and I was given Richs contact information because he was the one who mostly dealt with the repairs at City Place. I followed up with Rich and he said he would have to contact the office to see if the parts were delivered and that he would get back to me that day. I never heard back from Rich, I called again and I have not heard anything back.I am very disappointed because I felt that they were all giving me a run around. I wanted to work with this specific business because I know they have repaired windows at City Place so I felt comfortable knowing they had experience with this building. Unfortunately, I will just have to take my business elsewhere.

At first they seemed fair as they replaced a 3pane window w/sliders after the installers totally messed it up. They changed the product and it still hasn’t been good but refuse to correct it. They send someone out and talk about humidity, put some silicone spray on it and say they’ll send someone else who can make the decision to replace it. I’m still waiting.They also said they couldn’t put windows in my lanai because of an egress rule. Crazy!! Many people have had their lanai windowed in here and I had 2 other companies give quotes. I find this company likes to pass the buck, not honest and certainly not trustworthy.

I interviewed three companies and Joe is one of the main reasons I chose HomeRite. He knew we had a terrible experience with company on past project and wanted the opportunity prove they were different. We were replacing four large bedroom and two bathroom windows in our condo on the 4th floor-not an easy job. The crew was early, organized, courteous and cleaned up so well it was like they were never there! Joe even stopped by to make sure everything was good. Replacing windows is a big ticket item. It is important to get the right windows, AND the right installer. The installation process matters.HomeRite Windows removed the trim around the windows, removed the old window, filled the holes, sealed around the opening, installed the new window, sealed that, installed the trim, sealed that, and screwed the window into the window frame. Other installers wanted to cut out the old window, slide a new window in, and screw it into the window frame. Period. Which would you rather have? Even with good windows, if they are not installed correctly, you wont get the right result. If you are shopping, make them tell you how they install the windows.I got PGT windows, which have great reviews. They cut out a ton of heat and noise. I achieved exactly what I was looking to, with the window replacement.The crew was on time, cleaned up after themselves, and took special care to leave the house like they found it. This is a substantial job, and is high risk for a huge mess. Not this crew!At the end of the day, I did a ton of research on window replacement, and ended up with a solid deal, on a great set of new windows. Very happy.Great job HomeRite!

We have had trouble with our patio door for a long time and just kept putting off getting it looked at. Bryan Alvarado came out on Thursday to install new rollers and a new track on the main panel. He did an outstanding job. The door opens with ease and without all the noise of before. He was very nice and a really hard worker. I seldom write a review but I thought people should know what a good company HomeRite is for anyone looking for windows and doors.What really impressed me was when they started replacing the windows Peanut and his crew would not install them as the center piece was slightly to small, something I would never have noticed. They called Shawn and he reordered the center piece for all the windows, we had to wait another couple days but they were done right. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs new windows as we did.

Our first impression of HomeRite was really good. We enjoyed working with Brian but, we had a really bad experience during installation. Our windows were installed this week. We had 6 single windows and 2 double windows replaced. We were quoted it would be a one-day job. However, it was not. On the first day, the installers were two hours late - not only were they late, but no one from the office called us to give us a heads up. My husband and I both work from home and, with the current situation, our daughter is also doing virtual school at home. Knowing our home office was one of the rooms getting new windows, we had made arrangements with our work schedule to allow for less than ideal working conditions for one day but not two.When they finally arrived at 11:00 am (2 hours late), they unloaded the trailer and then the head installer left. He drove off in the truck and didnt return until 12:20 pm. Since one installer cant install windows on his own, they didnt start working until 12:30. And then, to my surprise, started cleaning up at 4:00 and left at 4:20 pm. They worked 4 hours!! I would have appreciated if they would have atleast finished the windows inside the house so we could have worked a normal day on the second day. But no, they did all inside windows except the ones in my office.The second day they arrived at 8:45 am, replaced the windows in my office and the windows in our garage. They were finished a around noon. Im glad they finished early the second day but why did it take two business days to complete 7 hours of work?Im very disappointed with the lack of customer service and response from the team. I felt like we were told one thing to get our business than they did whatever they wanted once the sale was completed. Who stops working at 4:00 when you arrive 2 hours late and then leave for 90 minutes?Ive tried to give a very accurate acount for both days. I have security cameras, with time stamps, inside and outside to prove the times on all my claims. Im not saying HomeRite is a bad company but their installation team is less than ideal. If you decide to go with HomeRite, make sure you talk about the installation details in advance. You may want to get them in writing.

We hired HomeRite to replace all of our windows after obtaining quotes from three other companies. We chose HomeRite over the competition for several reasons. Our salesman, Joe, provided not only a thorough demo of the products offered, but he understood our concern about selecting a company we could trust. He gave us the history of how the company got started, recounted situations to illustrate the integrity of the owner, talked about how many of the employees had been with the company for years, and also described how he ended up working for HomeRite. Our home has decorative stucco bands on the front that would need to be rebuilt after the windows were installed so Joe gave us names of several companies we could hire. He agreed to have HomeRite operate as the general contractor so they could manage the stucco work as well as the window installation. When we got to the point of signing the contract and making our deposit, we felt confident Joe would ensure things went smoothly and wouldn’t disappear once the order was taken as many sales people do. Joe was great at keeping us updated on the status of the order and made sure we were prepped and ready to go when it was time to install the windows. The window installation was not without its share of hiccups. We ran into serious problems right from the start. St John’s County requires a special process for stucco homes where 1.5” of stucco needs to be cut out from around every window. Done properly, the gap is then covered with brickmold, sealed and the house looks normal. Unfortunately, the lead installer on our job made a mistake and cut 3-4” of stucco from around every window. The brickmold wasn’t wide enough to cover the gap. As we’d hoped, Joe came immediately after we called, assessed the situation, gave us options and asked us which we preferred. Then he coordinated with the owner to make everything right. They hired a stucco company to build stucco bands around every window to make the house look good again and Joe checked on the progress of the work daily until it was completed. HomeRite even agreed to give us a credit when the paint used to touch up the body of the house didn’t match and the side of the house was 3 different colors. While we had our share of trouble through-out the window/stucco installation, HomeRite handled everything professionally and made sure we were satisfied in the end. Joe was the bright light through it all who kept us calm and confident that we’d be happy with the end result no matter what. And we are. We hired HomeRite again to replace all of four of our exterior doors. They did a great job!

Professional from beginning to end. Quote was the best, with a lifetime transferable warranty. ( I rehab homes ) so this is important as warranty means little to me. Installers came on the day they were supposed to. Took 3 days as this was not the easiest block masonry home with some embedded old windows(early 50s). When done thewindows past inspection and look great. Will be getting quotes from HomeRite in the future!

I called a few places that wanted to save time and money by having me send them a picture and the measurements of a window myself in order for them to prepare a quote. I guess they need more employees if they expect me to do the job for them. The guys at HomeRite know you cant expect a customer to send you the right information for an accurate quote and they didnt hesitate to send a guy out within the week. The craftsman Phill, was very knowledgeable and will earn my business because he is replacing only the broken parts saving us heaps of money. Thank you!

We have an older house from the 1970s that still had the orginal aluminum frames. We desperately needed to replace them, and shopped around for several companies before we chose home rite. As a matter of fact, we were prepared to go with another company and these were the last people we talked to before we decided. We decided to go with them the day the consultant came to the house, we were that impressed. They came out and did measurements, and suggested several ways to save money at the original consult. All our windows look utterly FANTASTIC! We had every window in our house replaced along with the front and back doors. The team came and did a beautiful job. Home Right windows & Doors is an ethical, honest company. I had a problem with my triple sliding door this morning. Was unable to close it and thought it would be a very costly repair. After calling several companies I got the name of this company. Joe got on the phone with me and after listening to me he asked for a few pictures. He called me back and and explained that I could easily fix the door. I followed his instructions and my door is fixed.I was ready to pay any amount of money to get this done today as I did not want the door left open!!!Joe was so very helpful, took time out of his day to help a stranger on the phone. Gates had his people come out and look at our needs and they proposed some upgraded windows what match the houses perfectly. These new windows lower the electric bill. We had our entire home windows replaced including two sliders. There was one pin sized chip on a lock for our kitchen window. Once notified, a service person (so sorry! Forgot your name!) showed up quickly and replaced it. Everyone we interacted with was easy to deal with and they knew their trade well. We highly recommend this company and product.

My experience with HomeRite was pretty good. They replaced all the windows in the my new home and did it an efficient manner. The cost was affordable and the service was great. They got the whole house done in one day! The guys even gave my wife some pointers on ripping out tile.

My experience has been less than satisfactory to say the least. Ordered wrong window for garage. One window and 2 sliding glass doors never ordered so had to wait for them to come. Found out they had them for 2 weeks and didn’t call to finish install until I called several times. Left a 1” gap under front door and had to come back. Back door is crooked and pushing inside trim out 1/2” on one side. Was told my house is crooked. Funny how previous door fit flush. Got slapped with a notice from county for no permit, was told is was the county’s fault. Never filled deep holes for install in door frame. Family run business that don’t communicate or just don’t care, not sure what the problem is. Look elsewhere and save yourself the aggravation.

This is a company with professional employees, quality products and reasonable prices. They have replaced front exterior doors and windows for me in the past, and they will be installing exterior rear French doors soon. Its always a pleasure to do business with them.

Unfortunately I am unable to write a review regarding the quality of work this company offers, as I was ignored for close to a month. I scheduled a service call for an estimate date on 5/26/17. Did not hear back by 5/30/17 so I followed up requesting the estimate. Was told they werent out on the 26th, but was ensured he would be by on 5/31/17. A few other emergencies arose and I put this project on the back burner for 2 WEEKS in hopes this would give provide an adequate amount of time to get a proposal together for me. I followed up again on 6/15, ad Alex ensured me he would be on site that afternoon to get me that estimate. On Monday 6/19, I requested the estimate again, and was told he was out in the field and would call me in a few He never called. I reached out the next day 6/20, and received no response once again. Finally on 6/21, I contacted them to cancel any work order that I may have with them as I have not received any info to which I never received a response AGAIN. All parties were friendly over the phone (until I was ignored), but the lack of communication was beyond frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. Wouldnt recommend them!

Scheduled an appointment for estimate, drove home from work to meet them, and they didnt show up.I called them to ask if someone was on the way, and they said a salesman called in sick, and we forgot to call.I called them because of the positive reviews, so I felt I should share my experience.

Great service. Our rentets damaged the back yard door. We were told we needed a new sliding glass door and it was going to cost $1500. I called homerite and they sent someone to trouble shoot the door. He knew what was causing the problem and put in for the parts. The second visit was for the repair and less than an hour he was done. Door works like new. Fast, friendly and clean. Will recommend to others in the neighborhood.

After a terrible experience with Lowes window service (which didnt want to help me once I explained that I would be installing the windows myself). I spoke with the owner of Homerite, he came over that weekend to measure the windows and explained the timeframes involved. Price was cheaper than Lowes for energy efficient windows made to order, delivered on time, couldnt be happier.

So my husband really wanted to go with this company and we did. We spent 13000 with them then a screen door broke during the storm and he called them. Six month later and no screen door. Two of their guys came out two different times with the wrong sized door. They are all over it when you do a big job but after that they don’t care at all. Found out they didn’t remove the lien from the home. I learned every contractor or installer pulls a permit or a const lien at commencement. These guys, our roofer etc all did that but Home Rite didn’t close it until last month some 8 months after they did the job. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. We are still trying to find a screen door for sliding glass door!!!

They did our whole house the price was great, the windows are lifetime guarantee the service was fantastic. these windows have made a huge difference, we no longer hear any traffic or the highway outside, the windows are beautiful, they have a film to filter light were just so happy with everything.

Had high hopes for this company, but they broke the cardinal rule and wasted my time! The first call they told me they could order a custom window 21 x 24 with a 2 week turn around time. I am a do-it-yourselfer and their 2 week turn around beat Lowes by 2 weeks so I was convinced to drive to their office (which was not easy to find). 30 min later I finally arrive at their office only to be told by their salesman Gates that in fact they cant get a window in those dimensions. He went on to explain window manufacturing and how he couldnt believe anyone could manufacture a window single hung, side sliding or otherwise under 22 wide. No apology for wasting my time and a very dismissive attitude. We need to replace every window and door in our home, but they didnt care to sell us one nor did they try to save our business! I went down the road to Lowes and found the mysterious window Gates claimed could not be manufactured in stock at only 18 wide! Some sales staff! Please learn your product. In fact he must have outdated catalogs or misread his catalog as he told his wholesale rep by phone that they showed a window 20 wide. Also they only work with 2 window manufacturers. If you want to waste your valuable time and work with people who dont value your business this is the company for you!!!
