John is the man!! Very professional, called on a Tuesday tech was out Wednesday. John fixed issue, adjusted some things made garage door less noisy. John also installed a keypad for us we had been looking into, syncd our cars remote control access, and we didnt ask he asked us. Overall great experience.

Always dependable. This is a vacation home and the salt crushes the motor and cable when not in use. Never had an issue with OHD coming to fix a problem. I use them in every property I use and rent.

They never called and never showed up. I use them in the past but not for the future.

Today I purchased a wind rated garage door from the Overhead Door Company. Prior to my purchase I did a detailed study at a number of different companies. I was searching for the most door for my investment. I found reliable service and quality products at the Overhead Door Company. Mike was very helpful and professional. My installer today was Milton who was very knowledgeable and skillful. I am very satisfied and happy to declare a five star experience!

I accidentally hit my garage door while backing out. It did not open all the way and I clipped the bottom knocking the door off the hinges and had to physically adjust it to get it to close. What appeared to be a major repair job turned into a good situation when the repair man arrived and not only fixed the door, but adjusted my sensors that a previous repair company failed to do properly so it would not happen again. Very professional, on time, and extremely reasonable repair cost. I will call this company if i ever have another garage door issue!

Rude, unprofessional, disorganized. Top 3 adjectives to describe this company. In the beginning I was dealing with someone named Rhett, well during the process Rhett was rude and unprofessional. But we decided to just continue with the service because we wanted to be able to park in the garage again. It takes 3-4 weeks for a door to come in. 4 weeks later I try emailing Rhett with no response. Then I call him... Then finally I call the office. The person I spoke with informed me that he was no longer with the company! So all of my information was lost and no one thought to follow up on his clients!Great... So long story short, the process gets pushed back. I tell them to cancel my order and I will take my business elsewhere. The person Im dealing with then says he will call the owner (who is on vacation) to see if there is anything they can do. He then tells me that the owner said they will give me a $200-250 refund if I will keep doing business with them. I tell them that its fine.... Fast forward months later. NO REFUND. I feel tricked and lied to.Save your money and time and go with another company. From all of these reviews Ive read, it appears that they have a long term issue.

Our building had a new garage door installed in March and the nightmare began. The door was installed incorrectly and it took us weeks to get anyone here to correct the problem. Soon after that the door didnt work again, and was repaired yet again. Fast forward to September and the door is showing signs of wear meaning the paint is rubbing off which means it still is not installed properly. In addition, The door has rust which means it isnt even the door we purchased!We contact the companynand the owner/President says it isnt his problem, we must contact our sales person. WHAT? The sales person should have nothing to do with this and what owner takes no responsibility?This is a terrible situation that we can not get resolved! I appreciate those that have have good results, but we are in desperate need to get things made right! We only want what we paid for and to have it work properlyI gave 1star as I wasnt given the option to give none! Hoping someone at the company reads this and does the right thing by my building.

Never again, misleading on the prices. I had a guy come out and go over everything i wanted, I was quoted a price and then after install the price was $300 plus more than the quote. He said the price was for the door only even after we discussed motor, key pad and key release at his visit. Still dont have the key release and the panels are all dented up. Wish they could Just be truthful !

HORRIBLE COMPANY. RUDE OWNER. WILL NOT OPEN MY BROKEN GARAGE DOOR SO THEY CAN FIX THE SPRINGS. This company will not fix the door because my car is in the way - but they will not open the door so I can move the car. They do not offer emergency services. I am in a catch 22 - they wont repair the door because the car is in the way and I cannot get the car out of the way because the door will not open - springs are broke.11/11/15. Technician Bill came over to fix garage door springs. He was supposed to be there by 9-10 AM, but did not arrive until late in the afternoon. He said that he could not fix springs because my car was in the way, but I believe it was because he said he had a very tight schedule and did not want to take the time. The car has a dead battery and flat tires. I asked him if he would just open the door and I would move the car so he could repair the garage door and he refused and left. 11/12/2015 8:00 AM. I spoke with Rick who identified himself as the owner - a very rude man. I asked him to send one or two service techs to come open the garage door so we could get the car out. I said I understood it may be difficult, and what would it cost to send one or two men over to get the door open and he refused. For no reason he was very nasty and rude to me. I asked him how me and a friend might open the door and he refused to tell me. What a horrible company! I am very disappointed.

My springs broke on Sunday and we left a message for them Sunday afternoon. First thing on Monday they called and at 9:30am they were at my house fixing my springs. Great service. The price wasnt bad either.They sent a trainee technician and a supervisor, both were very nice. They really did a great job and did a little extra. I had my ladder out when I was looking at the door on Sunday, when they finished, they closed up the ladder and hung it back on the wall! Overall, Im extremely happy with them and we will use them again.

Overhead Door couldnt fix our problem with the garage door, charged us $93.70 and told us we needed a new opener and cable. Had a different company come out and they had it fixed in no time.

Technician was professional, on time and completed a repair and an installation efficiently. Provided instructions on the new device. Very satisfied.

I dont know whats up with all these one star reviews. But they did a great job on mine. One time my code wasnt working so i called them and came out right away to fix it.

I had a really great experience with Overhead Door today. We called them because the other garage door people cancelled on us last minute and would be another week before they could come out. Overhead was able to come out the Monday after we called them. (we called them on Thursday) The tech Kenny was very friendly and very helpful. They had to replace the bracket on the door since the screws on ours ripped through the one on our door. Parts were $35 and the service was $93. He was quick and thorough not just stopping at the fix we needed. It was as if he didnt like an 18 point inspection on the whole thing. Tightened screws...put WD-40 where it needed to be. Made some adjustments to our seals and overhead component. I just felt he went above and beyond and explained everything to me as well. Most professionals dont do that with women customers as they dont think theyll understand. I appreciated his excellent and quick work and just his friendly nature. Its unfortunately a rarity to get good service nowadays and when you do you want to give praise where praise is do. I would definitely recommend them if anyone needs a repair on their garage door and well be calling them again if anything else goes wrong.

I called Overhead Door Co. of Jacksonville for a quote on a new roll up type door for my warehouse. I usually have issues with contractors here in Jacksonville, but Jon was very professional and knowledgeable with his products. I would recommend calling this company to any of my friends/co-workers. When my roll up door was installed there was a couple of small blemishes on the door and Jon had his crew back out the next day to replace to damaged spots! Very impressed with the level of respect given to my concerns!

Worst company in Jacksonville. Service guy showed up drunk to fix my garage door. Instead of fixing it tried to sell me a $1000 replacement. When i tried to explain the door was fine just the tracking got off he got hostile with me. Got it fixed by another company for $250.

This place is Unreliable, they haD came out twice to fix our doors and both times they said they were fixed and they were not. This last time was completely unacceptable. they said it was fixed and when we went to use it, it shot up and came off the tracks. we called them to come back, they said they were on the way that they were stuck in traffic. 3 hours later they never showed up. Nor did they answer our call. we had to hire a security team to sit at our facility all weekend. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

There is no customer service at Overhead Door - I spent thousands of dollars to have garage doors installed and have had endless problems - from missing hardware to a failed inspection because all of the parts were not installed. The installer knew it was missing and wrote it on the paperwork but if the inspector had not noticed it, I feel quite sure it would never have been rectified. The installer is rude and did not clean up before he left. The garage doors have been on less than two months and one of the windows is already broken - been waiting for a week to get that replaced. The weather stripping at the bottom of the doors leaks so when it rains the water pours in - they have been made aware of this situation multiple times and will not fix it. Horrible experience.

Called to get estimate on repairing rollup doors for Gilford/Johnson Flooring Warehouse. Estimate was emailed very quickly. Had replacement parts instock. Work was to be done about 3 days later. However, instead of Monday...technicians were sent out on Thursday which was great. While technicians were onsite, we inquired about possible dock-plate repairs as we did not know they were capable of repairing/replacing dock plates. Excellent communication between both Ryan & Tristan (technicians) and Rick who originally came out to estimate repairs. Work was completed very quickly . Very happy with completed work. They also worked on a few items that were not in original estimate at N/C. Great overall Job ! W keep company info on hand as we will use in the near future. This co originally installed our doors for our builder DS Ware. After a year of on-going complaints, we finally called another door co to inspect the situation. They found the brackets on the door installed backwards, the alignment of the tracks incorrect, and inadequate springs on our double door. We PAID to have original installation errors corrected, that the Overhead Door didnt diagnose on multiple trips. At least now, our doors are functioning as intended... Steer clear!!
