Installation and windows were great. Front office kept adjusting estimate upwards and demanding partial payments for services/repairs that ended up not being necessary. Took months and numerous phone calls before they corrected the final price to what it should have been
Scammers!!! Scammers!!! Scammers!!! That’s how I can summarize Pella of Jacksonville. We’ve had the worst experience with them. They destroyed our drywall on the inside, stucco and soffits during the installation of 24 windows, and 4 of the windows were off pitch. They were just going to cover the damaged stucco with 2x4. After we told them that was unacceptable they offered to fix our stucco AT A DISCOUNT. We were coerced into signing a new contract to fix the stucco. We then had to wait another 2 months for the stucco job to be done, the whole time our house being exposed to the elements. After the stucco guy left, we were expecting the windows to be caulked (as outlined in the contract) and Pella is now refusing to do.If you care about your home run away and don’t ever use this company.
Had windows installed. They missed the first two installation days due to the chance of rain. When they did show the installers were awesome, however two of the windows did not lock and 4 of the screens were cut. The installers insured us Pella would make it right. That was March. This is June. Still have two windows that don’t lock and 4 cut screens. Two different people have come out to look at our windows and screens and both said they needed to be replaced. They took pictures. We’re still waiting. 2 weeks ago Pella called and said they need more pics because the department that took the pics can’t email them to the warranty department. The soonest someone can come is July ! This is horrible customer service. $10,000 spent and we have locks from Home Depot to lock our windows! Beyond frustrating! Update to the review. Two more people came out to look at our windows last week. Looked at everything and blamed the installers for not doing proper paperwork and assured us they would handle it. Today our local office called to see why the city inspector has not come out for the final and my wife had to explain the entire ordeal again. It seems the third group to come out called it user error and that was it. Beyond frustrating at this point and I would NEVER recommend Pella to anyone after this. The first two quotes we received were in the 6-7k range. Pella was 11k and we went with them. What a mistake on our part.
Our great experience started off with our Pella Replacement Consultant, Mikaela Hauschildt, coming to our home giving us all the information and answered every question regarding replacing all our windows plus sliding glass door - we signed that day !! Our installation team was so amazing making sure every window was installed to perfection - what a positive difference and quite attractive our new sliding glass door now looks and windows - have gotten so many neighbors complimenting. Their cleanup well they vacuum better than I do and yard was spotless. Makaela and her knowledge was priceless and their installation team such professionals proved our decision to use this company was spot on right!!!!!!
(Update: They wont stop hassling me for the final payment even thought the project isnt completed)New update: I left a message with corporate 10days ago and was reassured I would hear back from a manager by the next business day. Nobody has called me back and it’s been 10daysWhere do I even begin to explain the worst, most unreliable service I have ever had in my entire life? The date of this review is Oct 21; my project is STILL not completed and it was started in June 6- which was a last minute no show reschedule from May.1. Promises, promises, promises and not coming through. Promises on the delivery of service, on when a tech would show, on when a repair person would show and yet still havent had the door completed.2. Poor customer service. E-mail back and forth, then I wont hear anything for about 2 weeks, then a random email back, then silence. I call the Orlando customer service and somehow HE started yelling at ME that he was too stressed out and too busy to get back to each customer and if I didnt continue to follow up and keep pushing for my project to be completed that nothing would get done. Needless to say, I’ll respond to an email, I don’t hear anything back and then I have to follow up with them.3. Install day; late last minute reschedule from May. Then we rescheduled to June. They were supposed to be at my house 8am; I called around 11am, got excuses on why nobody was there, then they show up. What a joke. Very unprofessional install team, made a mess, complained it was taking long and late in the day, never mind the state they left my guest toilet in.4.Every time they set an appointment, I agree and say we wont be home; they say its fine; tech shows up and leaves a note, couldnt do it, owner not at home. Now the most recent email was setting up a date and time for an appointment, I said I wouldnt be home, usually they say its no problem and they set the appointment anyway. Didnt hear anything back. I email them and was told I said I was out of town???? Nowhere in the email does it say that. Oh, did I mention this appointment was to REPAIR the tear they put in the weather strip during the install?5. The contract was 50% down and final payment at completion of the project. They are now trying to get me to make the final payment now, but the project isnt completed!!! And emailing me that my account is past due.The things that are not completed- very visible screw holes in the frame (they had to be left open for the city inspector, that just happened. While waiting for the inspection, we had to keep these large red tags on the windows for the inspector; and no, it wasnt the inspector that delayed, it was Pella that delayed in setting up the appointment). The stucco around my frame was damaged during the install, no worries because part of the contract was that needs to be repaired. Still not done. Air is leaking under the door- they need to seal it up correctly.6. Allegedly a manager is involved in my case, but I have yet to hear one word or confirmation from the manager- and this was after requesting that a manager be involved. In conclusion, I would never ever use this company EVER again! Do NOT waste your time OR money. We got an extremely expensive double door that they have yet to complete the project on. now almost 5 months later. I see other reviews that also mention that the installation process took months to complete. I’m starting to believe this won’t get resolved before 2022.
Greg Phillips was on time for our meeting. He was very professional and courteous. Listened and responded to my questions and concerns. He was very knowledgeable about the Pella products and offered multiple options for my situation. I was very impressed and pleased with the ultimate solution that Greg provided. Thank you!!
The salesman Greg was professional, polite, and always on time. He was responsive and patient on multiple phone calls and texts with my budget concerns and installation questions and work with me as a team to help me realize my vision into a product. The company has wide range of products and services to meet various budgets and design goals. I am in waiting for the upcoming installation and cannot wait to see my vision come true. I would definitely recommend this company. Five stars!
Gregory Philips, our Pella sales representative, was reliable, professional, friendly and very responsive. From start to finish, Greg took the time to walk through our options, explained the Pella differentiators, and made sure we had all of our paperwork and permitting handled, and even came out on the job to ensure installation was going as planned. Our experience in working with him is worth writing about and well recommend him to anyone who we recommend Pella to.
Our sales rep. Gregory Phillips was very professional and had a great personality. He was knowledgeable and made the experience very easy. He is a very good rep. and I would certainly recommend him. Thank you.
We had french doors installed three months ago, after multiple delays and no calls to let us know that they would not be out to do the install. still waiting for them to come finish the stucco work and inspection to be done. multiple calls and emails with zero luck. we were told that we needed to follow up if nobody contacts us, because they would not follow up with us. worst customer service imaginable. will never use them again.
Lack of customer service when trying to find out when my doors will be installed. Said it would take 3 months. 3 Months have passed and they said it will be another month and a half, maybe. Hard to get in touch with sales people as they didnt have business cards. project manager is hard to get a hold of and seemed to have made up stuff while on the phone with me to get me off the phone. Trying to get a refund and looking elsewhere. i dont mind waiting, just be honest
We have enjoyed working with Greg Phillips of Pella. He has come by on multiple occasions, including on weekends and holidays, promptly Responded to emails and inquiries and been very diligent overall.
I highly recommend using Pella Windows & Doors. I made an appointment for a consultation for new windows and was pleasantly surprised by the quick response of Greg Phillips. He was very informative of the products and process of installation. I got all of my questions answered and a very reasonable price. Thank you G-Phil!
Greg Phillips is such a professional and likable sales rep, with great knowledge of the products. He is accommodating and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend him and hope Pella rewards him for his service.
Looking forward to having our Windows Replaced in the near future. Our customer experience with Greg Phillips has been great and helped us solidify Pella as our top choice for window replacement. Cannot say enough great things about the experience thus far: responsiveness, friendliness, customer service, expertise, etc. Will update our review with pictures once we have our job complete!!
Greg Phillips was amazing with his attention to detail and his larger than life personality. He was extremely patient with the chaos of kids in the house and answered all questions that we came upWithHighly recommend Greg Phillips toAnyone needing replacement windows
I wasn’t sure I could afford Pella Doors. I sent a request, and Kevin came to my house. He explained Pella’s quality, warranty, business goals, and he showed me sliding doors that fit our budget. He helped me with an interest free, 12-month payment plan. The doors were installed 2 weeks ago. The installation was courteous, efficient, and done right. We’re very pleased with the entire experience. I highly recommend Pella.
It has been a pleasure to do business with Kevin Wright at Pella Doors and Windows in Jacksonville, Florida. So quick to come out and work with me on future window installation. Attention to every detail in the contract made me completely aware of what I was signing. I know the product is great but besides Kevin, John put me on the right track and Charlie was so helpful when all I wanted was a new door!Kevin was quick to get back to me when I had questions and Amber in Longwood has me already set up for the next step with Mr. Coker.Looking forward to some new windows in this old home. Thank you, Kevin, for making it so easy!
Good service, thanks Steve.!Cant say anything about the windows yet. Not install yet.
We used Pella for windows in 2016 and loved them so we wanted to finish the whole house.. Called Pella were immediately set up for an appointment the following week. Mitch Fandel called and emailed us and arrived on time. He listen to our wants, answered our questions and immediately measured our windows. Our house is the best looking house on the block and folks have asked us what kind of windows we have. Thanks Mitch and Pella! The Daniel’s
We worked with Greg Phillips in Jacksonville to figure out what kind of door to replace our current aging front door. He was extremely patient and always available to answer our questions throughout the process. Even helping with multiple configurations and ideas to help us save some money. Thanks!
I had the pleasure of meeting with Gregory Phillips, a recent Purdue graduate. He was on time and very professional. He explained all my options. I have done replacements with Pella before and I anticipate every thing will go fine this time as in the past.Mr. Phillips knows his product line and was able to display how it would look on his computer once installed in my home..
I was excited to get an upgrade in doors and windows and went with Pella because of their reputation and their products appeared superior especially when they are offering a 20 year warranty. Overall, the products have been good but I was extremely disappointed and quite upset when 8 of 13 windows had broken springs after just two years. I figured “no problem, I have a “warranty”. However, once you are at the two year mark, they only cover the parts, not the labor I learned when I was served with a $300 bill after the repair. How much can a bunch of metal springs cost them really....especially when they buy them by the millions? This racket sounds more like job security to me when I pay to have my faulty windows fixed. So future buyers considering getting Pella, just know that when their product doesn’t hold up, you foot the “labor bill” after two years...so 18 of your 20 years you will still be paying and don’t think for one minute that your parts aren’t factored into that outrageous cost. Not only did I pay 20k to get Premium windows, they expect me to pay more when their products don’t hold up. Not cool. Not recommending Pella only for this fine print warranty screw you. Will go another route in the future.
I submitted a consultation request for window replacements and I was pleasantly surprised at the quick response by Greg Phillips. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I highly recommend Pella Windows in Jacksonville! Be sure to ask for Greg.
I had Renew By Anderson at my home to give an estimate on a project, said Pella wont honor their guarantee by saying it is your fault for not doing proper maintenance, or some other loophole / exception. I though no way, this is just their sales tactics. I just found out that he was saying is exactly the truth. We had some problems with our previously installed Pella windows, I called and was told the type of problem we were describing was maintenance and not a parts issue so they would not even come by and look, told me to go find a handyman to fix. I am going with Renew by Anderson this time, they cannot be any less responsive to a customer than what I just experienced with Pella. The person I talked to did not even want to have a conversation, just had her company line and could care less about my Pella window issues.
The salesman was a star. He offered me a great finance deal. So good that I cancelled three other estimate appointments.Shana Vixama was my appointment set up person and my main contact throughout the process and she was awesome. Her support, and constant communication made the process a breeze. The installers were wonderful too, they were not on time but once on the site they performed a clean, professional installation. I love my new windows! Thank you Pella!
Greg Phillips is an energetic and dynamic sales rep. I felt very comfortable with him and he reviewed everything with me in detail, answering all my questions.
Window replacement is a hefty investment; however, working with Greg Phillips made the pill an easier one to swallow. Greg was timely, he was thorough in his explanations, he was patient, and he demonstrated care throughout the entire demonstration and purchasing process. Pella has a true professional who cares about customers in Greg.
Great experience with Pella of Jax so far. Gregory Phillips has been very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful along the way - and he got me a great deal on new high quality windows for my whole house. Cant wait to get them installed now. Thanks!
For the first time I net Greg Phillips I am already impressed of his professionalism and respect to customer like me .He is very knowledgeable of the Pella products and gave us a good deal .I wish all salesman is like him not only selling but helping customers to save money. He needs a pay raise. Thanks for his help .Ms Nellie
We had a most enjoyable experience working with Mitch Fandel in ordering our windows, door and storm door. Hecwas very knowledgeable and experienced. We would highly recommend him and the company Pella for all window and door needs. Five stars all the way!!
Creat service and customer service skills. I am. Very excited to get my new windows. Thank you Mr. Phillips’s
Greg Phillips are amazing. He took the time to go through all the options and explain the process. I would highly recommend him.
I had over 30 windows and doors replaced (my entire home) with Pella Jacksonville. My install date was November 2020, its April 2021 and I still have multiple unresolved issues including my front door cracking in half and several windows with trim either falling off, or pieced together very poorly that they look unprofessional and awful and are still awaiting repairs and painting. I send emails to the management team that literally just go unanswered, they just ignore me and dont bother to reply. I havent gotten a single proactive phone call or email from my salesperson since they made the sale to see how my experience is going. Im at a complete loss, Ive never made an investment this large and had customer service this poor. I would never advise anyone to trust this company with your largest and most important investment, your home. The employee Pella sent to look over the install work and create a punchlist of items to address for me, stood in my foyer and told me the front doors Id been sold were garbage and that he couldnt believe Pella was still selling them (these are the same doors that are now cracking in half) and yet Pella has refused to replace them with a different product.
November 2020 installHad windows install a few months ago and thought all was well, until it rained this weekend and I learned at least one window has a bad leak. Interesting part comes when I spent 2 days and made several calls to schedule warranty repair.Apparently they do not have record of window install at my house and my windows do not have serial # on them or so Im told. After many calls, Shar in Jacksonville scheduled a service call for May 27th 2021. Really over 40 days for service when I have an active leak! I expressed my unhappiness to pretty hear thats the soonest I have.To add to it I just placed an order for 4 more windows, with a pending order for 14 more next month. With this said Greg from sales was good, Matt from Jacksonville install was good, his hired help from Orlando office that was here to help and learn not so much, and warranty service / repair seems to be non existent! For those who read reviews, keep this in mind and keep your options open as this is not acceptable service to me.2021If the last installation wasnt t bad enough I made the mistake of hiring Pella to replace 6 more windows as I didnt want different manufacturers. This time the windows replaced were larger than the opening and a 108 window was broken as they tried to force it in a 107.75 brick opening. I have not heard from Pella in weeks and received a email saying that they cannot order a replacement window until I pay for it!Are you freaking serious, Pella expects me to pay for a window that was broken during install as it was too small for the opening that they measured for!
We had a great sales rep Greg Phillips. Professional, courteous and knows his product. We signed a contract for a new front door. Thanks
I scheduled an appointment online for a door replacement and Greg Phillips was the salesman that came out. He was a pleasure to work with. He arrived on time, was professional, answered all the questions I had and help me fit my budget. I definitely recommend him.
I worked with Greg Philips to install new windows all around the house. From the first interaction everything went smoothly and Greg has been professional and helpful. Installation crew has done a great job as well. I’d highly recommend Greg and the folks at Pella for any window needs.
Greg Phillips came out and gave a great presentation on sliding glass doors with all the ins and outs for replacing my sliding glass door. a true professional, well mannered, and very knowledgeable.
Professional, courteous, prompt and pleasant! Highly recommend Greg Phillips!!
Pella did a great job of installing our high-impact replacement windows. Every phase of the project was handled with the utmost professionalism, from the estimate phase through to follow-up after the job was completed. We received an estimate on the spot, none of this well get back to you sometime next week. The project manager kept us informed of what to expect as well as the timing of everything. The installers arrived right on time and kept us informed as to what was going on throughout the day. The job was completed on time and there was no mess to clean up afterwards. Post-inspection completion and followup was timely. We recommend Pella for all your window needs. Thanks.
How does anyone get ahold of them? I cant leave my info for an apt. On the web page for some unknown reason and nobody ever answers the phone.
Gregory Phillips did a fantastic job for us, very nice guy.
Gregory Phillips was extremely courteous, helpful and professional. He walked us through every step of the process. We’ve used Pella before and Gregory’s gold standard customer service confirmed we’re making the right decision again.
Gregory Phillips was great to work with. He was professional, very responsive and patient with all our questions.
Five stars all the way! Stephanie was fantastic and offered the highest level of personal attention during my window selection. Buying windows is one of the most expensive home decisions and Im so glad I went direct with the Pella store here in Jacksonville. Professional service and quality at a reasonable price!
Our sales representative, Greg Phillips, is a pleasure to work with. He was knowledgeable and responsive, even to my after hour concerns. I changed my mind several times between product materials and color options. Throughout it all Greg exuded patience and understanding.
We had some doors installed years ago. the service was great and the quality of the product after all those years is still there. We got three estimates and Pella was right there with a fair price. They did not disappoint us, the consistency of product and service was still there. Thank you!
Purchasing all new replacement windows and an exterior door on our home was a major financial responsibility for us to undertake. Therefore, we researched for weeks before contacting Pella, and we considered our options very carefully. We have been exceptionally pleased with our sales representative, Gregory Phillips, as he has gone above and beyond for us throughout the process! He is professional, courteous and very knowledgeable of the Pella product line. He demonstrated superior customer service on multiple occasions during the consultation, sales and purchasing processes, taking the time to explain to us - in person, over the phone and via text - the details of each item and the process overall. Greg took time after the initial consultation, over the course of several days, to answer our continual questions that popped up. He was very patient with us and continually responded to all our questions quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Greg to anyone shopping around for windows & doors - he didnt pressure us to buy, but streamlined the process and explained it to us in a way that we fully understood. He even came to our place of employment - several miles out of his way - to ensure we had a complete and total understanding of each line item in our paperwork. Thank you, Greg! We hope the order verification and installation processes go as smoothly as it went with you during the consultation and sales processes!
Mikaela, excellent suggestions and service !!Alamo, excellent work!!
We are extremely happy with the Pella windows and doors we have ordered. Bruce, Stephanie, and the entire crew at this store have given us outstanding service over the last several years, including personally measuring the windows and doors in our house. The Pella products look terrific in our house!
Mikaela was fantastic! She helped us re-plan the windows and sliding door for our sunroom and had great ideas. She got us a much better look for less money. Alan and his team did a great job on the install too. There was a strong storm the day after install and we couldn’t hear a sound or feel the wind around the openings. Highly recommend!
3 months and still no window! From beginning to not filing correct permit order to 1st install with wrong size and now again waiting! But yet...billed! And even better, was told no interest for18 months and interest is being added! No monitary compensation, apology or call for THEIR mistakes. Living with a piece of plywood over my window for 6 weeks is NOT how I thought this experience would turn out!!! Horrible customer service! Nightmare!!!!****UPDATE****UPDATE****After further review, I am NOT being charged interest and credit option offered by PELLA is exactly as offered..18 months no interest! YAY!Additionally... I was contacted by upper management and have been treated with the upmost consideration, apology and sincere compensation! My hope has been restored that good companies do exist and put customer satisfaction first! Good job PELLA :)
I and my family love the Pella doors and windows replacing 1990 style ones.Mikaela Hauschildt was our Sales Representative. From the very first meeting to consider and choose our styles, and the various options, she was very informative and provided her suggestions based on the exterior of our house. Moreover she is a delightful person and and is an authentic person, in contrast to other sales experience I have had on past projects. She follows up during the installation and even beyond. The installing team did a good job .The neighbors were impressed with the transformation!
It was a pleasure working with Mitch to complete my window replacement project on my home! Ive had Pella windows for 3 years now, and they provide a fantastic product backed by an outstanding warranty. Mitch was patient in answering my questions, and helped figure out the window replacement options to best fit my needs! Very easy to work with and no hard sales!
Mikaela and the Pella team did a stellar job designing windows to match the mid-century modern architecture of my home. Mikaela offered and maintained contact throughout the entire process, every step felt seamless as a result and it made me feel stress free because every question was promptly answered and issue fixed! Wonderful service and support!
Good Customer Service is very hard to find! Its was truly a pleasure to have Greg Phillips in my home on yesterday for a consult on a new door. He called to let me know he was on the way, he was on time even though he was stuck in traffic and listen to all my concerns and ideas. Most of the time sales people come out in a rush and very pushy. Even though I will not be able to get the door as soon as I would like to because the price is more than I am ready to spend, I will contact him when I am ready. Outstanding customer service!
I purchased $90,000 + dollars worth of windows for our design and build project. From the start the windows delivered late and parts were missing. We notified the sales rep whom we thought would be on top of getting it resolved. We were wrong it took numerous calls to him and months to get the parts. Service was a nightmare! They would come out after weeks of calling only to realize they did not have all the parts they needed then would have to reschedule. This happened several times over the course of the project. I could go on but long story short the house is still sitting and waiting now for going on 4 weeks to get the CO because of unresolved issues. Communication was terrible, service was a joke, and I have left messages with managers to discuss these issues and they will not even return my calls. Definitely will never get any further business from me! The only thing that went well was installation, there installer was good that they brought up from the Orlando area.
Installer damaged my bathroom during installation to the tune of over $5,000. Bill Carter the installation “manager” told me I need to pay for their services in full before they will give me any insurance information to file a claim. My other option was to pay them in full and pay for all bathroom repairs in full and they will reimburse me up to what they find appropriate!!! If you have the misfortune of speaking to Bill you’ll be in for a shock. Clearly pella management isn’t trained in customer service. The damage occurred at the beginning of December and here we are at the end of June with no resolution.Unprofessional!!!! I’ve spoken to all levels at the local office all the way up to Torry Mosschetti (regional manager), all of them lack the ability to do what is right, but the fact that Bill is a manager is shocking. Makes me believe the organization just promotes the most incompetent.UpdateThe response below is just a canned response. I reached out to the email address and got no response. Though I highly doubt the intern they hire to respond to these posts can do more than the regional manager
Mikaela was a magnificent sales rep. Without her I would have been looking through magazines undecided on what to get for months. Everybody on the team was very complimentary of each other and everyone work together marvelously. I had many quotes and felt that Pella had the best product and best price. The service team was very respectful when they came out and cleaned up after themselves. I have been nothing but pleased.
Last year we purchased our first Pella Windows. The quality of the windows have not only allowed for a decreased in our electric bill but we became the envy of our neighbors. Our experience with this company was great. Mitch is a great salesperson and listens to his customers. He is actually here now to give us another quote to finish out our window transition and to give is a quote on a door.
Kevin has done a great job understanding our needs, proposing creative solutions for some of our windows and explaining what it would take. Kevin is very knowledgeable and it has been a pleasure doing business with him today. If you are considering replacing your windows I would recommend you call Kevin.
My experience with Pella has been great so far, mostly thanks to Mitch who has kindly answered all of my questions (and I’ve had a lot!) and patiently waited as I’ve made decisions. I never thought I’d be so excited for windows, but I am! I definitely recommend Pella and Mitch if you are needing to replace windows or doors in your home.
Gregory was easy to work with. He knew the products and patiently explained all of the options during the purchasing process. I am looking forward to a successful installation of the new windows.
Pella strung us along for months. When our window was finally installed today, the installer tucked the wiring for our alarm sensor into the wall before putting the window in so we cannot reconnect it. We were basically told by Pella that it isn’t their problem, and now we are stuck with an additional expense we were not prepared for. If you’re going to do a job, do it right. And if you don’t do it right, own up to it and do right by your customer!
Gregory was extremely professional and knew the products well. My plan was to shop around and get different quotes to replace our front door and back door. Once I met him, I was sold. We purchased 2 doors that same day. Thanks Gregory for all of your help!
We just had 6 windows replaced at our home with Pella Encompass brand. We received three estimates, and ultimately went with Pella because- #1, Pella superior quality, #2- our sales rep, Mitch Fandel, was knowledgeable about the product and every time I had a question after he left, he responded immediately! That is Very Important to me! #3- Installation is guaranteed by Pella. After making the final decision, the Pella team was very helpful and courteous, the installation was quick, but meticulous. I think the area around the windows was cleaner when they left than it was when they arrived. Team Alex!! The quality of the windows is obvious when you stand in front of them. I am extremely satisfied with the purchase, and we will definitely be using Pella again for the rest of the house.
I usually reserve my review until after the work is completed but had to write how impressed I was with todays consultation. Sales representative Mitch arrived on the minute at our appointment time and was meticulous, yet laid back, and completely un-pushy. Out of 4 different companies to give us quotes, he was the most personable, down-to-earth, and genuinely real representatives Ive dealt with. Pella would do well to recognize this young mans absolutely uncommon ability to instantly put a customer at ease, and help them make an informed decision on what is a substantial home improvement investment. While we havent started work yet, I am more than confident that Mitch will insure the entire process is seamless. Well done.
Kevin Wright helped us pick out the perfect selection of doors and windows to update our home at the beach. He was professional and knowledgeable in helping us find the right product line for our needs. I highly recommend using Pella if you want the best!
Greg did an excellent job in communicating available options etc. When we purchase from Pella again we would definitely request assistance from Greg. He was very knowledgeable and definitely helped us in making the right decision for our home. We are very happy with our purchase.
We had 20 year old windows and sliding glass doors. They barely opened and leaked air all the time. The installers were amazing. They had the old windows and sliding glass doors out and the new ones installed in one day! The difference is terrific. The outside noise is almost nonexistent. There is no air leak and the insulation is great. The windows and sliding glass doors open and close with ease. While a little pricey, there is no doubt that they were well worth the expense. We highly recommend Pella windows and sliding glass doors.
Great experience . Very Professional . Excellent customer service . Could not have asked for better experience
Replaced my builder grade sliding glass door yesterday with the beautiful 350 series. What a difference and worth it. My old doors - only 6 years old - were falling apart and I saw years of expensive repairs, door locks that never worked and poor energy efficiency.Installation went great. They told us 5 hrs and that’s what it took. Now I have a lifetime warranty, energy efficiently and security. Who wouldn’t want that?I highly recommend Pella to anyone seeking a high quality sliding door replacement.
I had the pleasure of working with Mr Greg Phillips to secure my Pella door purchase. Greg was very friendly, knowledgeable and has a great spirit. I was very pleased with Gregs honest approach and highly recommend reaching out to Greg and Pella doors for your next door or window purchase.
I had replaced my entry door 3 times in a period of 16 years due to water damage. Rain splashed up from the walkway and struck the lower portion of the door causing rot. I tried a different door each time I replaced it with the same result, the door frame and bottom of the door would rot. I stopped for a replacement door for 4 years until I found Pella. I received a flyer in the mail and called. Ronnie, my salesman, was awesome. He saw my problem, made recommendations, and helped me select a door. The installation crew was wonderful. The finished project is breathtaking. I would recommend Pella to anyone. This door will last forever! It is well worth the price.
Pella Windows are the best! Ronnie Green, the project manager, is an expert who really organized the entire process from the selection of the windows to the installation so well that everything went smoothly. The Pella Windows installation team were also excellent. Outstanding work. I highly recommend Pella Windows!
WOW! That is what we say about our new PELLA front doors! They are outstanding. We called MIKAELA HAUSCHILDT in the JAX office and she came up that afternoon to Amelia Island to look at our prospective application of Pella Doors. She promptly sent us a proposal including a Photoshop rendering of what the doors would look like installed on the front of our house. The doors have given us a front house look that has received rave reviews. Thanks Mikaela for a terrific job!
Mikaela has be very helpful working with me on my application to the the City of Jacksonville Historic Preservation Board to replace 9 windows in my house. I could not have done this without her help.Madelyn Sadler
Horrible experience, I have pictures to show that our sliders that our not even a year old, are peeling. The most expensive ones, Mikala said the best ones. Please don’t waste your time with this company. It has been a nightmare for one year, and it is not complete.
I have been a very happy Pella customer since 1990, we had Pella Designer Series wood windows with blinds between the glass put into our Mobile Home we loved them. When we built our new home in Jacksonville we put Pella Designer series in our home again in 1998, we had no problems with any of them. You have to keep up maintenance on the windows and doors just like anything else here in Florida. I would definitely use Pella windows again in my next home.
We had French doors and a standard door replaced by Pella. The installation was booked out two+ months because they are busy but they hit that date (actually came a day early). The new doors were made to spec. The French doors were slightly smaller than the original doors but the installation crew easily made the adjustment. The doors work perfectly and look great. Understand that Pella is substantially more expensive than a Home Depot or Lowes/handyman DIY solution, but I believed it was worth the extra cost to have one company responsible for both the door manufacturing and installation. My impression is that Pella is a quality company and I recommend them for windows and doors.
Pella did an excellent job on my windows and doors. Mikaela was great at showing us our options and helping us pick the right products, she was also promptly responsive to any questions. Frank also provided great service as did Tom the installer.
Sales individual was fantastic and assisted with minor problematic issues throughout the job. She really went out of her way to insure we were taken care of. Installers were highly professional, very courteous and concerned about our property/home. They did an exceptional job, navigating problems and including me in the discussion when they hit a decision point. Following all the windows and doors being replaced in my 2 floor home, the only thing I could find to comment on was a small bubble amongst the 20 miles of calking needed for the job. Everything looks perfect, works perfect and we would highly recommend them. P.S. I am very hard to please and my wife is still in shock I had no complaints at all!.
PELLA was our choice for new windows. Taylor showed us our options and we decided to go with this company. From installation to final inspection the process was seamless. We are very pleased with our decision.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I paid for patio doors in full back in July 2017. Was promised an install date of August 2017. It is now November and still no doors. Was told everything from there is a glass shortage to they just dont know when or if I will ever get my doors installed. 4 months of wasted time, missed work, and extra expense just to end up denying the charge on my card and starting over. Worst company ever! Dont waste your time or money, I am going to report them to the state if I can!!
I have developed a long standing excellent business relationship with the company,.Mitch is a great experienced associate that will make the process easy and fast. 👍🏾
We so enjoyed our window purchase with Mitch. He took his time to explain all of our options and it was not a high pressure sales pitch. We would recommend him as a sales rep.
Let me start by saying the quality of the actual windows and installation went well when finally done. We signed the initial contract April 2019. Our project was large, around $31,000. Our initial install did not happen til August. On top of that one window was mismeasured and we did not finish til early October. What was worse was we paid half up front, with the understanding the balance would be paid in full upon completion. Instead we received certified letters for something called a pre-lien from a third party collection company!! No phone call or invoice asking for payment from our project manager Shana for all those months. I had to call their finance department to pay what I owed even before the project was finished. Totally an unprofessional way to conduct business
Weve had our pella windows for 4 years. Great products! Mitch came out to help us replace one from a hung window to a fixed window. Easy process, would recommend Mitch and Pella.
Im still at the decision stage and just wanted to offer my opinion on my experience thus far. Mitch came out and we talked about my different options. He made the entire process a breeze. I was dreading the appointment because in-home consults give me a bit of anxiety; as it turns out, I was worried for nothing! Hes even been great with responding to my questions even after the appointment!
Pella workers were the best installers ever. They left my house spotless both inside and out. Thank you Kevin and Will. It was a pleasure to meet you.
Kevin was very punctual and did a thorough job of measuring and explaining the process, products and timing of getting my sliding door replaced.
Solid product. Pella rep, Mitch Fandel, was very easy to work with, knowledgeable and friendly.Great windows!Installation was a nightmare. Didnt measure correctly, said we could keep molding then ripped it off, didnt order the correct outside trim, brought wrong color caulk. A month later still working on punch list.
We were looking to update our sitting room windows because they’re hard to open and we wanted a better view of our pool. We did our research and got a few quotes from different companies. We opted to go with Pella clad windows, instead of Marvin, because the former has a better manufacturer warranty. We had an awesome experience with our sales guy, Mitch Fandel. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining to us what we’re buying, answered all our questions, and he did not take more of our time than necessary (matters to us coz my husband is very busy). We’re very excited to see how our new window looks. We’ll update this review once we have them.
Gregory Phillips, made a great impression from the start, because I was not going to pay that kind of money for a door He was very helpful, Professional, well groomed, knowledgeable about the products, kind and patient.
Everyone we worked with from Pella was professional, courteous and friendly. The old adage is true that “you get what you pay for”. We could have gotten a less expensive product but, we also would have gotten a cheaper result. Best investment we could have made in our home!
The sales manager had me install windows that was to small for the house on a nail flange install ! The measure tech measured dry wall to drywall for a nail flange if you know anything about nail flange you measure dry wall to drywall and add an inch . So all 25 windows was an inch to small meaning you can’t properly screw the window to the home . I called torry the sales manager he said keep going maybe no one will notice .so I installed all 25 windows that was to small. A week later failed inspection from the city I knew it would I also informed the home owner that it would fail I’m 100 percent honest and always upfront . Long story short these people do not care about their installers or their customers and they had to replace all 25 windows for free or get sued . STAY CLEAR OF PELLA IF YOU WANT QUALITY DONT LET THE NAME FOOL YOU
Frankly I was dreading my Pella consult, expecting a long drawn out session with a hard sell approach. Instead, Mikaela was a pleasure to work with and a credit to her company! She listened to what I said, understood my needs and recommended the best products for my home. She is professional, ethical and informative.
Absolutely love my new single hung black on white double pane Low-E SunDefense tinted windows, with grilles inside the glass for easier cleaning, new screens, and outside flexible metal trim wrap to match. They were meticulously installed, and my sales consultant and project coordinator stayed in touch and were available for Qs at every step. Also appreciated the easy-to-get financing and generous ongoing discount offers.
Excellent experience with Pella. Mitch Fandel did a fantastic job helping us choose the correct 10 replacement windows and scheduling their installation. He also helped us order three replacement sashes under the Pella warranty program. He was very responsive via cell and text and was onsite during the installation. The crew, led by Kevin, did an excellent job installing the windows, applying PVC trim, caulking and painting to match the rest of our windows. They were professional and removed all debris after they were done.I will definitely use Pella again.
