I have an older garage door and the seal on the bottom had broken away causing a gap for pests to possibly get inside. The part couldnt be bought at any of the big home improvement stores so we couldnt fix it ourselves. A1A came prepared and had the exact part we would need. The repair was very good. The Technician advised of a 1 year warranty. The emailed bill has a 30 day warranty. The Technician did not notify regarding their payment alternatives. There is a 4% credit charge notification on the emailed invoice which comes after the increased pending charge on your banks account. People deliberately use credit cards for safety, and for high bills to get the 1% back. Their bankcard fees should be automatically calculated; so as, their losses are covered.Response to owner: Not true. No alternatives were given. The Tech said the bill is $383. $15.33 was added without my permission or understanding. You will not get referrals from us, nor call back for warranty work.

Tried to open the garage door with the garage door opener. the door would not open only about an inch up and back down. Called next day and they would have come that day, what a surprise. Asked for next day and was given several time frames to my surprise. Duke came and only took 30 mins. to replaced the spring and checked all areas. All was fine. He even straighten the wall mount of the 2 springs that was not mounted straight when the house was built. Would recommend their business toanyone. Great job.

That was not the case, which I appreciated.The installer provided a quality installation, door and opener. The opener, the installer tried to reuse, but he pointed out that it was a 7 foot opener. (which I had erroneously installed many years before). So we replaced it with a new 8 foot opener. .The door seems to be of very high quality and the installation was perfect.

I asked him if he would lubricate the other garage door and as he was doing this he noticed a very dangerous flaw that required the door mechanism to be re-bolted to the wall (it was a couple of loose nails away from falling down). I had no idea as this is a home we just purchased. He told me the repair would be a bit pricey as it required monkeying with that gigantic screw mechanism. The job was good but unless you want to pay 4% credit card fee write a check or pay their worker cash. I was very disappointed when i saw an additional $55.17 posted to my bank account. I called to question the up charge and was told they do a 4% card fee. I have never heard of a company doing this and if this is their practice they should disclose that before running the card not telling people after the fact that it is stated on the invoice after you pay and then is emailed to you.
