I contracted The Pratt Guys to build my patio after meeting them at the Jacksonville Home and Garden Show in 2017. After the initial consultation in 2018 I knew they were the ONLY company to hire to build the patio design I had envisioned. They treat you like family throughout the entire process. They worked with me on design changes and made recommendations which improved my initial design. They were always available via phone, email or texts to answer and address my questions during the design and construction processes. The build crew’s attention to detail exceeded my expectations and I’m very picky and expected nothing other than excellence. They met that expectation from start to finish! I highly recommend The Pratt Guys and their team of professionals. I plan to use them in the future for hardscape projects!

No one ever called me back to come out and do an estimation I called them 2 weeks ago

If you are considering Pratt Guys, do it! Get to their showroom and setup an appointment with Adam. He is personable, knowledgeable, and provides top-notch customer service. I met with a Adam a few times when considering a pool builder. Unfortunately, as much as we loved our Pratt Guys experience, we did not go with them. Essentially, it came down to dollars and cents (big mistake). The thing with Pratt Guys is that they put everything in your quote. They do NOT nickel and dime you like other pool builders. We found this out the hard way despite Adam telling us several times. The pool builder we went with told us lots of things were included when they were NOT. We paid a lot more than our initial quote and they said they had built certain features before, which they had not. When it was all said and done, we ended up paying the same amount and Im confident did not get the same pool design and luxury build we would have received with Pratt Guys. Even when Pratt Guys knew they werent chosen, they still answered my phone calls and called me back when I had questions. Their customer service was over the top. They gave their support the entire time our pool build was going wrong when our chosen pool builder wouldnt answer calls or emails. Our pool builder lied to us on several occasions and they definitely didnt meet the timeline. They told us it would be 12 weeks from when they started and it was 25 weeks. Remember, you get what you pay for.... do not hesitate to use Pratt Guys, and looking back even if I would have paid more, I would have saved a ton of headaches by going with them. My next pool WILL be built by Pratt Guys. No exceptions. Do not walk to their showroom, RUN! If they are backed up in building pools, wait for them. I promise you wont regret it! All pool builders are NOT created equal.

The Pratt Guys did a phenomenal job designing and constructing our commercial patio project. They exceeded our expectations from the planning stages all the way to the final product. Their attention to detail, follow-up and all around professionalism is simply unmatched - and Ive worked with several other patio/backyard design/builders in the Northeast Florida area.

We are so happy with our new backyard! We had a cookie cutter lanai with just your basic cement flooring. Our home has an oversized slider that opens up and hides behind a wall to make for a seamless, large opening to our backyard. Great for indoor-outdoor entertaining, but definitely needed some upgrades. We saw some great projects from Pratt Guys and they provided us with exactly the kind of design we were hoping for. The renderings were amazing and helped us to see the final project before they broke ground. It even showed how the sun would hit on the pergola to see where the shade would be. We now have pavers running smoothly in one level from the start of the lanai all the way out with a pergola and fire pit. We just got it this July and it definitely has become a favorite hangout for us and our guests. Cant wait for cooler weather to use the fire pit even more! Thank you Pratt Guys!

Pratt Guys transformed our porch and backyard from builder grade to favorite hangout destination. The construction process was smooth and the site was cleaned up every day. Every contact we had with them was positive and productive in making the project great! After researching a few entities that construct and/or enhance outdoor living areas, and with the recommendation of friends, we moved forward with using Pratt Guys to help put in place a much needed kitchen area to finish our pool deck in a pre- existing plumbed area for an outdoor kitchen. With our budget in mind, Pratt Guys diligently worked with us to meet what we could envision for a somewhat difficult area to build. Throughout the entire process we found that the construction crews provided outstanding attention to detail and met our needs to address whatever we envisioned to work in our particular space. Pratt Guys were also flexible in allowing us to choose a specific granite and the granite installer was outstanding as well in attention to the detail of the look of our kitchen. All workers were polite, easy to work with, and listened to our needs. We are very pleased with the end result and use the kitchen routinely.

The Pratt Guys exceeded our expectations converting our plain backyard into an amazing space to gather with friends and family. We began the conversation with Jason Pratt in the fall of 2018 and by spring of 2019 the pool and pavers were installed. They worked with my wife and I to get the design right and than provided detailed estimates that enabled us to make the decision that fit our budget. We worked with The Pratt Guys for a large new deck for our house. We loved the design that they came up with. And we love our new deck and use it all the time.We did have several communication issues throughout the process. We were frustrated by the multiple delays in the project that stretched our project on for months. In the end, they worked very hard to make things right and to make our back yard a great place to be.

All around great experience from Pratt Guys! These guys are true professionals who put customer service first and it really shows in the final product. Some of the noticeable things that come to mind were having Steven and Justin at our variance hearing to provide support and representation through the approval process and the desire to return our yard to a better condition than it was during the clean up phase. My pergola and patio is the talk of the neighborhood! I had quotes from several companies and Jacksonville and Pratt guys provided a very reasonable price and more importantly provided exactly what I imagined. We had a pergola built, stained, and matching wood wrapping on pillars in my patio. They also installed weatherproof fan and drilled in low voltage wiring into pergola for me. They were extremely professional and finished the project in a reasonable amount of time. I have already recommended these Guys to several friends and neighbors.

Pratt Guys has our highest recommendations. We absolutely love our backyard. Pratt guys refinished our pool to a much nicer pebble finish, change it to salt water, added a heater and swapped out our light to a more updated multicolor. They also installed pavers for our entire patio area, built a bar, installed a grill and refrigerator and constructed a planter along the full length of our new lanai they built with a very cool “expanded view” which also has Nebula lighting. And although we had a vision of what we wanted Adam Pratt had some fantastic ideas which we incorporated into our build like a water fall / fire feature which is the centerpiece of the pool area.The quality of their work is outstanding. Frankly, we did a lot of homework and found that Pratt Guys is the only contractor around that will do it all. You really can’t appreciate what that means until you realize the project you have will pull in at least half a dozen disciplines which is just impossible for the average homeowner to manage. If I did not go with Pratt Guys my project would have taken over a year and I would have had to deal with a pool company, landscaper, lighting company, appliance company, screening company, gutter company and more. With Pratt Guys I faced off with one project manager making life so much more simple.Finally, what is most impressive is after all is said and done, they don’t consider the job finished until they walk the project with you and you verify everything is complete to your satisfaction. Also, they stand behind their work 100%. A very impressive organization!

We could not be more pleased with how our project turned out. The primary reason we choose Pratt Guy was they were the only company that solved the mystery of meeting all of our wants in a unique U shaped patio sandwiched in between 3 roof peaks. The result was covered V Roof over pavers with a fire pit and back porch swing. The project finished on time, on budget, and it was clear every team member was aimed at making sure we were completely satisfied. The end result looks amazing, which we attribute to the time Pratt Guys spent with us during the design phase.

Not only did the Pratt Guys do an amazing job on our backyard transformation but they stand behind their work 100%. When some of our lighting became faulty and needed replacing they came out and replaced the necessary parts, no questions asked. Throughout the project there were a few hick-ups, but the Pratt Guys made everyone of them right and didnt stop until the project was perfect. The project did take more time than initially planned - partially due to weather, partially due to some miscommunications, but the end result was worth the wait.

Our experience with the Pratt Guys was exceptional. From the initial meeting to completion we were kept informed along the way of the progress of the project. Computer renderings evolved into reality and in a timely fashion. The ease of doing business with them was a plus as a result of the technology they utilized (BASECAMP) in the sales process. Although the brothers that created Pratt Guys, started in the most humblest of settings, their parents garage, they dedicated themselves on day one on creating a quality product that would reflect the skillful and thoughtful process behind every single product that would bear their logo. As a result of their devotion, it only took a handful of years for Pratt Guys to have outgrown their home operation, and in 2015 they settled into their impressive showroom and warehouse where locals can see in person the quality of their craftsmanship. Their craftsmanship, however, faced its greatest test in 2016 as Hurricane Matthew was set to devastate the First Coast. In the wake of Hurricane Matthews path of destruction, the pergolas and outdoor spaces that were crafted by the Pratt Guys team not only survived to brighten their respective backyards another day, but they did so without the slightest hint of the hurricane that had just passed. If this does not qualify as a legitimate testament to the highest quality of their products, where Mother Nature herself threw everything she had at them, then I dont know what will. Construction can be very intimidating and confusing in these regards and they guided us through the entire process.3. Expert, Quality workmanship and professionalism: Pratt Guys delivered their promise here. We made an investment and feel extremely satisfied that they delivered the value in both customer service and workmanship that they commit to. When we got to the build phase, the entire process was precisely laid out. Our build and site supervisors, Jeremy and Jake, provided diligent, timely communication, and were readily available when needed. They addressed all questions and concerns as we went to ensure we continued to feel confident. All workers acted professional and treated our home with respect. The construction process can look ugly and messy in the midst, but Jeremy assured me that by the time they were completely done, it would look pristine. And it did indeed, the team addressed any areas of construction wear and tear and thoroughly cleaned the job site.Again, we are extremely happy and satisfied that we chose Pratt Guys for our backyard renovation. We could have chosen a different contractor and paid less, but had grave concerns about what we were getting and our long term equity. We know that our investment will stand time, and while we enjoy it now, we will also get the added equity to our home later. I cant say enough good things about Pratt Guys. From the minute we walked into their showroom, we knew they were the right company for us. Their work is beautiful and top notch. We had pavers put in along the back of our house with a pergola, fire pit and a floating bar. Our backyard project is even better than we imagined. It feels like an extension of our house. These guys were on top of it from beginning to end. Truely a wonderful company and I highly recommend them!

My wife and I bought 800 square feet of pavers and had them install them. They were professional, courteous and pleasant. We would certainly hire them again.

I have requested multiples times for a correct quote and every time I was promised delivery, they never followed up. Its as if they do not want my business. They came for a site visit, afterward - nothing! Highly unprofessional and unorganized from my experience.

Not helpful. Asked over the phone if they did small wood projects and they said yes. So I told them I would be down. Get there and they tell me only outside projects 🙄than they refer me to a guy they refer business too...but theyre not sure hes still in business 😳call and they dont do small wood-working. We recently contracted The Pratt Guys to design and install a summer kitchen on our back patio. The results are awesome.Pratt Guys is a local company, owned by a local family. Their laser focus approach is totally customer oriented. We have never experienced such professionalism, responsivemeness and attention to detail and design as these guys. We worked with Adam and he was a JOY to work with. He addressed all of our concerns and questions and we are totally satisfied with results. He suggested incorporating elements that never occurred to us, like ambient lighting, an open counter bar, and multiple electrical outlets. We even ordered custom bar stools and cushions though him for our outdoor entertainment center.Pratt Guys are very customer responsive and return phone calls in an expedient manner. They project a sense of urgency while working on your project and make you feel like you are their most important customer.The finished product has significantly enhanced the dollar value of our house.
