Im traveling. I wanted to take fruit platters a veggie platter to a family reunion. Found what I wanted and picked up a tray of deviled eggs.I was disappointed that i couldnt find a small section in the Market of school supplies. I wanted to pick up a note pad. All the grocery stores I shop at in Wisconsin have a small section with pens, pencils, markers, notebooks, post-its, etc., with a high mark-up, of course.On the other hand, I did find sugar packets which are only carried at a Sentry store 20 miles from my home.

Guy wants to bag your groceries but he wont do nothing you tell him and stands are in front of them so you cant get the bags. I went in there to spend my food stamps and a lady wouldnt let be by my chicken leg because it was too warm. And she did it in the most vindictive and evil way possible in front of everybody oh well

Nothing more American than making a living off of selling things that humans must have to survive. County market is great at doubling the price on every single thing that they have, I find myself going here even though I cant really afford it just to keep the small man in business. This is the third time something bad has happened at this wonderful store. We have tried ordering ahead and picking up a order. That was a disaster six wrong items and missing two. The second time we tried it more of the same. This time my wife did the shopping in a handicapped cart and asked someone to unload the groceries into the trunk of our car, when she got back home and I unloaded the groceries and sat down low and behold three items were missing from the groceries. The three items were hot items from the deli, so had to call the store up now the wife is on her way back out to pick them up. Maybe it is just my wifes luck but she got out there to pick them up and called inside for them to bring them out and they didnt even answer the phone, just by luck a boy came out to get cards and she flagged him down and he went in to get them. All three times my wife has said the peop,e she has talked to have been very rude.

Best grocery store in Jacksonville. Store is always clean and everyone from cashiers to stock clerks to deli are always top notch, friendly, and helpful. I had a horrible experience at Wal-Mart and County Market made my day 1000% better. Id highly recommend going here if you want a truly pleasurable experience.

They have done really well with organizing the store. The deli area is awesome and patient with request for items. Cashiers and baggers are very friendly and quick

I am not from the area. I stopped in for some fruit and noticed immediately how how high the produce prices are. Even with that, I made my selection and purchased just over $20 in product. This photo contains a photo of a very rude cashier. I should have left my purchase right there and walked out. They will not see repeat business from me. Please notice the sign above this cashier.

Generally, I will go to see what is available in the 5:$20 back in the meat area before I look around at anything else. Store is always clean. There were stockers working in every isle willing to assist with a smile.

They have a great selection for their deli department. Wish prices were a bit lower but I guess you have to pay more to have someone else bag your groceries for you. Unfortunately I have only had a small handful of times that I have not had to bag my own stuff so not really sure where the extra money for the items is going,..... Definitely not to pay for some one to bag my groceries up.

On the day of my 21st birthday they denied me the ability to purchase alcohol at their location despite me showing a temporary but updated drivers license, (went literally the day of my birthday to the DMV to have it renewed) and my old license. Even the store manager, Chris, said that I wasn’t allowed to purchase alcohol at their store. I have been shopping at County Market, both their Springfield and Jacksonville locations, for years and thought that they would be better than this. Maybe Aldi will appreciate my business.

Decent supermarket with the typical fare. Not much in the way of variety for various ethnic cooking; but it has the staples and lots of fresh vegetables and fruit so that is good. Its clean and the meat was good.

County Market is upscale grocery store.They have fine groceries. I recommend this store for fine grocery shopping.

The Country Market is a large supermarket that has a large deli area. It is very popular in Jacksonville with an enormous parking area. It competes with the Super Walmart close by with similar prices.

Generally better then walmart on every front but price. Store is clean, customer service is fast and respectful, and the meat is a noticeably better quality then walmart, but they have an actual butcher My main complaint is the bakery doesnt produce enough donuts and pasteries to get through a day, and their steaks are sometimes labled as prime but clearly have oscification near the bones. Hardbone means its not prime anymore.

Great employees and awesome variety of food at fair prices. Produce is always fresh and if you need help there is always someone close by and happy to help.

The store was a little busy but the shelves were stocked, organized and labeled well. I actually got a friendly cashier too. Thats rare here.

The employees at the store are fantastic they are helpful and friendly. I have noticed recently that many of their products however or very close to expiration dating. And Ive noticed they dont carry some of the same products that they used to carry. I shopped at the store for more years and Id like to count. But I do shop Aldis now and some Walmart products which I didnt used to do

Wide aisles, friendly deli, bakery, large produce department, meat dept., Krispy Kreme donuts, hot food and salad bar for lunch, excellent fried and rotisserie chicken,rug doctor rental, stamps, lottery, ameren bill pay location but there is a 1.25 separate cash processing fee for this service. Handicap parking close to entrance, electric cart and wheel chair available, Its a large grocery store with a small town feel.
