I ordered on the app when I arrived the staff had no idea how I placed an order (they said they have never had anyone order on the marble slab app my pick up time was 7:30pm & we finally left at 8:11 I had a confirmation email but the staff still didnt see how I placed an order online. There were atleast twenty people in the store no one had a mask on(customers) not sure if employees are suppose to wear gloves or not but none of them had any gloves on & I saw one of employees grab an ice cream cone bare handed to put it in a to go bag. This location is very unorganized Ive placed online orders here before my orders are never done when I arrive this will be my last visit just repetitive issues.

Great prices, and a great alternative to Cold Stone Creamy. The prices seemed to be high, but you can have as many flavor add-ins as youd like at no extra cost. You may have to wait a little while, but its worth it.

Discovered this little gem a few days ago and have already been twice this past week. Will be going back. The ice cream is amazing !

Ice cream was tasty but looked nothing like the pictures. Not enough toppings to produce what the picture looked like. Took about 25 minutes to get our orders but that was because they were short staffed.

Really good ice cream and shakes all are hand made. Come get yours and go home happy 😊

Me and my wife have come to this location 4 times now and not once have we had a good experience. We really wanted to help a store in our area by buying here but it is definitely off of our list of places to go. We placed an order on the app around 6:30 pm for a 7:30 pm only to find a long line that took over 35 mins to get through, the pick up online orders area was unmanned. After the half hour wait we were then informed our order was not only not ready, it wasnt in the system.... when asked how we ordered we said we used the marble slab app only to be told the app was unknown to the staff... keep in mind this is how we ordered in the past without issue. The associate just sorta moved on to the next person until I complained. Today is my wifes birthday and she wanted a little ice cream, so yeah I complained. After a few mins she found the magic order and we waited another 10 mins while she made our order. We left at 8:18 I had to laugh at the sign in the door, order with the app and skip the line ridiculous.

Good ice cream, small parking lot but definitely worth a trip if youre in the area.

Upon coming in, the workers welcomed me in and asked if I would like to try any of the flavors. They were very nice and helpful in recommending me different types of combinations. I ended up getting the cookies and cake combination with the birthday cake ice cream, it was amazing. I will definitely be coming again soon.

Lots of choices and really good ice cream, a touch on the pricey side but comparable to most ice cream shops. The 4 people i was there with all enjoyed their ice cream, except one cry baby i was with wanted pistachio ice cream and rightfully so, they only have that ice cream certain seasons. I think pistachio ice cream should be in the trash all seasons personally.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted and ask how I could be helped. I tried all the flavors but the person helping me did nothing seem to mind. I ended up getting a cookie dough majestic shake😁. 10/10 would recommend!

Expensive memory for a child but absolutely worth it. 5 children about $45 or $50. The younger rep had better customer service skills than the older but she totally made up for her elder counterpart. Ice cream was delicious.

While on a company trip I was told to stop by Marble Slab as they apparently have the best ice Cream in town. I was helped by a young lad named Flynn, he was very pleasant and even cracked a few knee slappers while making my ice cream. Can’t wait to stop by again on my next trip.

Had 2 scoops of Cake Batter vanilla ice cream with cookie dough & oreo on a chocolate dipped waffle cone! Amazing!

Great customer service by 2 young men. There was a line out the door and they managed to get us in and out in a timely manner. Will definitely be back.

Going downhill fast IMO. I have been coming here for years. Over the past few months it has lost any semblance of customer service. I have friends and coworkers who shared this same experience with me but I continue to be a patron because it is still a quality product. Today may be the second to the last time I go here. I walked in (complying with their selective mask mandate) against my hesitation. Only to stand there with four children to be told it would be a few minutes and someone would be with us. In an empty store we waited while an employee chose to stock the products instead of serve the customers standing waiting. Finally chose to walk away and go to one of the other four nearby ice cream shops. I’m sure I’ll be back and see if things improve and update.

When I stopped by about a month ago I was helped by a young man named Nick. What a good lad. He helped me very quickly but did not make me feel rushed. I got cookie dough and Oreos mixed in, the were both perfect sizes for toppings. Can’t wait to stop by again.

Marble Slab is 100% the place you have to go to!! The staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly! If you haven’t been yet this is the ice cream shop I’d recommend over any other!

I just went to this location to be severed. A Customer was being waited on when I entered. The Customer paid for his ice cream for his self and another person,who was not in the store at the time. Once, the Server served the man he left the store . I was next to be served and was told I had to wait because, the Customer before me paid for someone else and she was tending to her dog outside and I would be served after the Lady comes back in and get served. At this time there is myself and Four Other Customers waiting and we are stating we can be served while the Lady is still outside ( I watched her smoke and play with her puppy with no urgency to come in to be served). I left because, the Customer Service was unacceptable.

Butter pecan with no chunks of nut. Just smooth and creamy. Love this flavor.

Also the door says closing at 10 pm and even though there isn’t a sign on the outside or online saying they close at 9:30 now they turned me away at 9:32. I asked if they could make one more cone because they still haven’t put anything up and both employees were rude and turned me away.

The food was super appetizing. The bill was fair for the quality of the food. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.

Me and my cousins were waiting in line behind 7 other people ALL SEVEN PEOPLE had their masks off eating ice cream the second my cousin took hers off to eat her ice cream the lady staff member with the blonde hair started complaining saying that her employees were at risk but did not say anything to the other 7 people who had their masks off the staff is very rude I didn’t even want ice cream after that

Ordered 2 waffle bowls on postmates, spent $30, and when it got here it was two kids size scoops. Complained to postmates and only got our delivery charge returned to us and when we called the store to complain and question it, the worker was rude and said that’s what we ordered. How is a spoonful of ice cream $7??? Terrible service.

The girl that served us seemed to be in a rush. I got one of the mixes that had cookie dough and Oreos. The cookie dough was still in large chunks and the Oreos were just crumbs.

Nathan was great, very friendly and professional, as all of Marble Slab staff usually are. Great place for deliciousness just like the banana splits we had.

The people that worked there were so nice! They were patient and helpful, even with some of the more difficult customers I saw there that evening. They handled a rush quite well. My milkshake was delicious and well worth the money paid. I would definitely recommend this place.

Last time i was here, i paid 8 dollars for a cone with ice cream that had the quality of sewer water

I love this place. Partially because the staff here is awesome and so very kind, and obviously because the ice cream is fantastic. They also make ice cream cakes which are amazing and ice cream cupcakes which I didnt even know were a thing until recently. If youre in the area and craving something sweet, I see no reason to go anywhere else.

I ordered the coffee milkshake regular size. It tasted like vanilla with a hint of coffee. At best the ice cream is mediocre. The shake wasn’t well blended it was watery and chunky at the same time, and the customer service was meh.

This ice cream shop is our favorite in the area. Nice staff, pleasant owners and good ice cream. Good toppings and Marble Slab seems to listen to customer requests. They added white chocolate (topping) after we (and Im sure others) requested it.

Really excellent ice cream, different from the others, because you can know that they are homemade ice creams and not like other ice creams that place you pounds and pounds of sugar. They are the best Ive eaten in Jacksonville. I congratulate you, for that ice cream quality and I recommend them.

If you just treat your self every once in a great while to ice cream then is a fantastic place to do just that.You can order a special off the menu, or, crest your own special treat. Some friends and I enjoyed some delicious ice cream with topping and it was good...

Called ahead for 2 chocolate shakes. 15 minutes after calling them in, we show up and they havent even started on them. We have to wait another 15 minutes because they only use one of their 2 milkshake machines. The total was $19 and we were handed one shake that had two inches of room until the top and the other had about an inch of room left. I love this place and go here frequently but I think Im done. The quickest weve ever gotten out of there was about 20 minutes and this is the second time they didnt come close to filling the cup up.

Products and prices Top Notch would go back again. And they have a mask policy during the pandemic, we really appreciate it.

Smashing! Brilliant! A waffle bowl with carrot cake and cinnamon bun ice cream topped with caramel, nuts, and chocolate chips does not disappoint. Jason was a very cordial host and threw some ice cream on a piece of marble and made it just right.

Amazing rich classic flavors as well as exciting limited time/seasonal flavors. Located near a nice park for kids and many other local hot spots in the San Marco area!

The service has been so poor my last few visits that I think I need not return. Customers lined up. Three staff but only one waiting on customers. Thr other two seemed indifferent. Very young and inexperienced staff with no customer orientation.

We give a 5 star because the manager was great...I asked for a cup of water, he gave me a bottle at no charge, ended up giving one of my babies a balloon, which was super sweet... The two young ladies assisting us one was sweet the other one needs a little help with customer service maybe just a bad day, seemed as if she didnt want to be there... I ordered a 1 scoop Ice cream and the lady mushed it up till it was liquid and the Ice cream ran all down my cone and when I asked for no m&ms the lady tried to put them in plus only got 2 marshmallows in my ice cream.

Stopped for a treat and there was only one other family ahead of us and only one slabber behind the counter. Then all of a sudden the place was hoping. Julia stayed calm and in control. Never once missed a best and kept on smiling. Julia you rock!

The line is usually pretty long, because its slow to make the ice cream. But if you want dessert customized to your exact tastes, this is a great place to go.you can also get shakes, and other treats. They also make cakes, which you can pre-order.

I have never had a bad experience st this place ! It is a mom and pop shop next to An amazing small town center where there are man benches to sit and choose from and a beautiful scenery. Which what I do, I buy my ice cream and walk my excited self to the town center that is like 2 feet away and sit and just enjoy the world..... When I always purchase here I never get anything but the best service ever and Ice cream. Please disregard the ignorance of these picky people who just dont need to go out and purchase.

Very disappointed with your Hendricks location in Jacksonville, FL. Was so happy to find a Marble Slab since moving here last October from TX.1) Explained repeatedly that Im allergic to nuts... had to practically force the young man to clean and scrape the ice cream station before placing and mixing my selections on it.2) I have the Slab Happy app with a $5 reward that I couldnt use because they didnt have a scanner to scan the discount code.... no other compensation or alternative solution was offered.. just an oh well attitude which seems to be the norm here.First time and last time visiting...

Unfortunately, that rating has now been reduced to one lone star.The trip to Marble Slab started out delightfully, as most trips to an ice cream parlor do. It felt as though everything was right in the world for that brief moment. Little did I know that tragedy and turmoil awaited me on my arrival.It had been some time since my last trip to Marble Slab, as I no longer lived in the area. In years prior, I dutifully kept up with their loyalty program, and faithfully got my card stamped on each visit. Upon entering the store, the tumultuous experience started its course.As it turns out, at some point between the time of my last patronage of this establishment and the time of my current visit, the loyalty program was converted away from the card and into a digital system linked to a phone number. Despite the obvious privacy concerns, I was willing to convert to the new system, and convert my stamped card into ones and zeroes attached to my personal information. However, I was told that my stamped card WOULD NOT BE HONORED!Honestly, I was taken aback by such a preposterous stance that it took me a moment to catch my breath. It felt as though all my years of loyalty had been flushed down the toilet.I am deeply saddened by the decision made by the Head Creamer to not reciprocate my unfettered loyalty to their establishment.I will certainly never return to this business, and will do my best to encourage others to do the same. Marble Slab had a decision to make, and for the cost of some measly ice cream, they chose to lose a customer forever. I hope their shame is palpable.

Ok, so I look all over for Marble Slabb icecream shops everywhere I travel to. Found this one in Jacksonville FL. Awesome customer service, but was very disappointed when I found out that they now weigh your scoops of icecream 😢. Also the trips that really let me seek out Marble Slabb icecream shops is their coconut icecream. To my surprise was not the same . The one of a kind, best in the world to my perception is a no longer. This new version of coconut icecream is off. They have completely changed my flavor . I guess thats the end of my Marble Slabb obsession. 😥

This is our favorite ice cream spot in Jax. The workers are always so friendly and we love the unlimited mix-ins! Two minor suggestions for the owner, consider repainting the parking lot, its difficult to see the parking lines at night. Also, a trash can outside by the outdoor seating would be convenient.

I ordered a kids cup and a like it cup; they seemed to have the same amount of ice cream. Ah well, my kids were pleased and I probably didnt need the extra carbs and calories, anyway. Everything we ordered was delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive.
