My husband and I had the best customer service experience with Steve. Super helpful and upfront about lighting fixtures (what would work and what has problems). Highly recommend them.

This is not your big box store’s lighting department. My wife and I were greeted by a lighting professional. Our needs were clear from the beginning, a complete lighting makeover to go along with our home renovation. After looking at several manufacturers and their products, we selected a line of lighting that was perfect for the spaces intended and looked stunning. Sue and I thank you for taking the time assisting us in the research and purchase of our ceiling lighting. We love it!

If I could give them a negative number I would. I went into their showroom and there was a clearance bathroom unit with a sink. I told her I was going to have to speak to my plumber and the very next day I go in to pay as I can use that unit. The lady comes out of the showroom and says sorry thats already sold to a contractor. They refuse to sell me the same unit at the same price this place is a rip off.

I walked into the showroom today with plans in my hand for kitchen cabinets and I was ignored by the man standing at the front counter, I was shopping for cabinets and counter tops so I walked to the back office where there was 2 employees talking and not acknowledging my presence. I decided to browse for a while but still not one person even would help on me, after 30 minutes of wandering around the store I went out to the parking lot to my car and called a store in Wilmington I guess that Kitchens & lighting thought that either didnt need the business or were to good to take the $$$, for the cabinets I have to order.

I had my kitchen remodeled and I love it!! It was done in a very timely and professional manner. Kitchen and Lighting Designs exceeded all my expectations from the sales staff down to the installation! I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in kitchen and bath cabinetry!!

Great customer service. They have supplied all my lights, cabibets, and countertops. Its nice talking to the same people over the last 20 years. No big box store can compare.

Pretty terrible customer service. They came and measured on a Wednesday and stated they would have a quote in 2-3 days and that it would likely be $3200-3500. I did not hear from them for a week and called them the following Wednesday. When I called I was told that they had not heard from a fabricator and would call me back after calling the fabricator. I did not hear from them again until I called them back the next Tuesday. They said the person who helped me was out sick but would speak with him and call me back the following morning. No call again. I called them that afternoon and was told that I would definitely receive a phone call the next morning. Again, no call was made to me until after I contacted them via a FaceBook message. When I finally got my quote it was well over what they initially said and $2000 more than another quote for the same material and included less work (they do not hook up sinks to plumbing). I feel like they inflated the quote because they did not want to work with a pushy customer. I do not believe they are interested in smaller, residential jobs. I wish they would just say that up front instead of wasting someones time. I do not recommend them what so ever and will never recommend them to anyone I know.

I found this to be an extremely unhelpful place. I was there around 4:30 and could not find an employee to answer any questions. When you do finally get help they are very pushy with their granite and tell you that everything costs about the same so why not get granite. This is not true. What they do is charge more for lesser materials. They get their granite from The Stone Gallery in Swansboro anyway so you can cut them out of the deal and actually pay less if you want. Also, good luck getting a quote in a timely fashion. It took me 2 weeks to get a quote that was nearly double their competitors in town. I really can not recommend using them unless you enjoy being frustrated.
