Stumbled upon this shop when going on a walk. Was looking for a very very small oriental rug and they had a few very nice ones. The owner is what really made the whole experience special. He is not a salesman but a genuine rug enthusiast who has a ton of passion and respect for the art of handmade rugs. Even after my purchase he had complete joy in showing me some very fine works of art and talked with me about what made each one special. It was a true joy coming into this shop and I’d recommend it for anyone!

The only thing Ive noticed I have a chair near the edge of the carpet and thats where it looks like the design coloring is fading out for me getting up and down

Hooshang is the sweetest man. Very honest and there is no place like this! One of a kind owner and product. We fell upon the store because of the Beautiful Nut Cracker display outside the window and went in to realize it was the most amazing Rug gallery on earth! You’ll never find anything like it and he has items at all different price points. Very neat

I had a rug cleaned and it was returned more beautiful than ever! And the cleaning was perfect and the cost of cleaning very affordable. Mr. Hooshang could not be any nicer. He explains all of his rugs and is so knowledgeable. He truly loves what he does and it shows. You wont be disappointed in all the choices of beautiful rugs and Mr. Hooshangs knowledge and his gracious customer service to each person that enters his store.

Hooshangs is way less expensive for cleaning nice rugs than the competition (mine was a silk and cotton Turkish rug which had great sentimental value.) and they can also arrange beautiful repairs. I would bring any valuable rug to him. The store also has some really beautiful and reasonably priced Persian and other rugs. Very pleased with my experience there.

Mr. Hooshang has been operating in this space for many years. In fact, I see him park down the street daily and walk to his store. I have a few oriental rugs and I know of nowhere else better than to have them cleaned at Hooshang. When you walk into the store, you immediately know you are in a fine carpet shop. Mr. Hooshang knows his carpets too, whether to offer you a deal on a carpet or to help you find something for your house, he is a great resource and his store is very different from those you find in a mall. He has been in Avondale for so long, he knows his customers and they keep coming back to him. I recommend him to anyone in need of carpet or rug service or sales.
