My husband and I stopped in wanting to look at a product and learn more about it to probably purchase. Troy had answers to every question I had and was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and nice. He also looked to see if the product was available, and even went to the back to bring me the exact one I was looking at. Troy offered us great customer service and I highly recommend coming to this Best Buy for your tech needs!

Hey, So I wanted to give a shout out to Ricky and Ray in the electronic install department these two are absolutely amazing! I do not do reviews unless I feel someone has gone above and beyond my expectations. Ray and Ricky worked on my 2015 chevy traverse to get my sub bumping again. They worked hand in hand with each other and worked diligently to get my sub working. I have went to a few other Best Buys and did not receive the quality of work these two did. I am please with the detailed explanations they provided to me. They set my sub and amp in the proper placement for the best results. I will totally be return again with another install on another car again soon.If you want your sub, back up camera or what ever you may need installed in your car these two are your guys! They are trust worthy and knowledgeable!Thanks again Ray and Ricky!!!

I was assured my appliance delivery with numerous reminders, along with the day of my delivery I got confirmation! I rearranged my day schedule & many things in the house to make possible for entry of appliance. I called to see approximate time my delivery was coming? 🚨I was told my delivery may not be coming! After talking to many people from customer service, I got mixed signals if it was going to be delivered? 🚨NO DELIVERY HAPPENED! Then I was told it would be delivered a couple days late! NOW I’m being told by email to schedule delivery! Furthermore, I’m having to take time to drive to the store to get this nightmare straightened out! 🚨There’s no way to talk to actual-store associate! The store number directs to people working from home & read off a screen whatever is written, bottom line, NOT HELPFUL! I wish I would of read a review like mine because I wouldn’t of set foot in the door of this store. 🚨🚨Save yourself the headache🚨🚨

We visited because Office Depot down the street had no inventory, even though the General Manager tried his best to help us; Best Buy conversely offered no assistance whatsoever. We meandered the computer section for some time and didnt even see an employee to ASK for help. So we left and bought a laptop from Office Depot online.

I used to not be a big fan of this store bc it was like pulling teeth to get help. They still are not fully loaded with staff but I feel like I dont dread going there as much. Staff is very good at helping to activate and make sure technology is going to work. My question was on a cell phone. Trenton was very helpful and a nice kid. This store is improving.

Went to Janesville store to remove my cellphone from sister-in-law family and friends plan. Best Buy mobile tech spoke with sister-in-law for 15 minutes and indicated after receiving her permission to port phone number and device to my own account that it should be quick. 75 minutes later still not done and he finally learns from Sprint that sister-in-law has to release phone and phone number online. Left the store completely frustrated and fed-up.

Went in for a phone upgrade. Verizon stores were out of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Best Buy had it in stock. Got 400 toward my upgrade and 200 for my old phone. Brand new phone starting out at 1/2 price. Cant beat that.

Went to buy a $300 Samsung watch. Can’t put it on, can’t open the display. Apple watches and any other watch you can, insane. Store manager was a HUGE jerk, told us to walk out the front door. I will tell everyone not to go to this store ever again and will not spend another dime at Best Buy. Need to change the name to Worst Buy.

Im from Rockford and had to get a specific item from up here as it was unavailable at my home store. Was slightly surprised at the smaller size of the building, but it didnt impact the selection in a significant way at all. The staff here were professional and friendly, and the facility was clean and orderly. About all you can expect, especially in these days.

Always an issue with Best Buy, ordered a phone online, didnt have it at my store. So I ordered it for curbside, at a store near my daughters house in milwaukee. After the purchase, it was going to take them 4 days to get it ready. Its available at the store. 4 days to pull it off a shelf? Never will I ever buy anything from Best buy again. Plenty of better lower prices options.

Great store, with various name brand products. Pricing is very competitive. In store inventory is very good. Ordered products arrive quickly.Staff is phenomenal. Just purchased a Samsung Refrigerator there. Our staff person Evan Behne, was the best, most product knowledgeable, organized individual I have ever had assist me and my career was in sales for over 50 years. The lady assistant store manager was excellent. You will feel very comfortable shopping there.

Very impressed by the service we received from Best Buy in Janesville. We purchased a Samsung fridge from them a year ago, unfortunately it had issues and we made a warranty claim to get a replacement.Sam was awesome at making sure our warranty claim was good to go with Samsung and Nathan was very helpful helping us pick out an LG fridge as our replacement.It was a nice surprise to receive top notch customer service from a large retailer.

Usually have everything that I need, but I have to hunt people down and wait about a half an hour If I have any questions. The thing that pushed my to do this review was buying a wifi extender that was marked 54.99 and upon checkout it rang up as 116. I like spending money here, but some more attention to detail would be appreciated.

Previously, Id found this place to be an overwhelming nightmare: chaos and an indifferent staff incapable of proving any relevant info. However, met with Devonate recently whom was a great guide. He could answer most of my questions - and for those he could not - he sought out from his co-workers. My experience couldnt have gone smoother. Given this pandemic, Im usually online; but this place has restored my faith in in the flesh retail. I will be back.

Purchased a $1700 tv from this best buy location, it was a certified open box deal marked as being in excellent condition. Got home, got the tv setup and turned it on to find out that it had a defective screen with wierd burn in/artifacts on the screen. The TV had obviously been used at some point since the neoprene cover was off it and the plastic protection screens had been removed. If Best Buy had actually checked the condition of the TV before selling it as an open box the defect would have been obvious. Had to take it down, rebox it and return it to best buy. It took me about a total of 4 hours and $50 in gas to drive to and from the store twice, set the TV up, take it down, rebox it, etc.When I got there they refused to give any kind of discount on a new TV of the same type and kept trying to upsell me, or get me to buy another open box. Keep in mind, they had only given me $200 off the open box unit compared to a new one. At this point Ill never buy another open box product from best buy since they lie about the condition of the products, and I have no interest in shopping with them at all anymore. So basically they sold me a lemon that they had certified as being in excellent condition. The sales person lied to me about the condition of the TV and whether it had been used and returned vs. just opened.WIth all the competition from online retailers and other brick and mortar stores youd think best buy would try to at least offer good customer service, but nope! Thats fine, Ill take my money elsewhere from now on.

I was looking for my very first computer for gaming. I spent alot of time looking into different computers and the options that were out there. I ultimately decided that the IBuyPower PC was the best one for me. For the price, you got a great processor, a nice mid-level graphics card able to play Fortnite, Call of Duty, and some of the other popular games. Plus, there was plenty of memory to handle multiple applications running at once. This PC also came with a really nice gaming keyboard and mouse. The cherry on top was the overall design of the PC. From the glass panel on the side to the LED lighting in the fans, it really sets it off from those other basic towers. Best Buy had a great sale on gaming pcs which led me to buy it from them. The staff on site was great to work with during the pandemic.

Its overpriced, musty, and doesnt have much variety in stock. Imagine Micro Center, but like 10 times worse. Doesnt even have Rtx 3000 series cards in stock. Would recommend you dont go here, if you do, just check out products and buy/pricematch from Amazon or somewhere else.

He searched for models in other locations so we could compare and decide. He asked the manager to price match the competition and I ended up making the purchase. I bought a expensive Sony TV from Best Buy and had it set up for home delivery. Never been so frustrated with a customer service as I have been with Best Buy.I verified with the sales person my TV delivery would be to my new address. Then I get a confirmation email that it was going to my old one. I call 1-800 and they assure me it’s going to the new address. Nope, I get a call last night that it’s still going to my old.I call again. The 1-800 number puts you on ridiculously long holds (20 mins for a simple question of flipping from home delivery to pickup). You hang up and call to get a different person who tells you right away there is nothing they can do and that you have to go into the store.Call the store, again very long wait times. Finally someone picks up just to put you right away on hold with no explanation. Then you finally get someone who knows something but the end solution is your free tv delivery due to Best Buy’s mistake is resolved in you have to drive to pick up your own TV and set it up.Gee thanks, Best Buy. No coupons or discounts for the hassle they put me through. Honestly makes me want to return the whole darn thing and take my service elsewhere.

The Best Buy here in Janesville is a good example of great customer service with some friendly staff. Best Buy has a great variety of products. I also enjoy that people are trained in their department. Had a problem though as the sales guy told me about a wireless DVD player and sold me on it, then I get home to find out he rang up the wired one. So I went back and swapped it out and to my luck... I received a new player that doesnt work! So now I have to go back a 3rd time! Not the stores fault on this one but was the first time. Either way Ill continue to shop at Best Buy. Just be careful about the LG BP350 DVD player!

People were helpful and kind however it took me some time to get help in the mobile audio department. I was told by two employees an item was out of stock when it was not. But they were helpful and nice I just had to put in a little more effort to get my warranty covered. Always buy that protection plan on speakers. Its worth it. If you love music like I do anyways.

Had a remote start installed. The technicians/ Geek Squad went out of their way to squeeze me in BEFORE the start of their normal workday, then finished well before the quoted completion time. I was very pleased with this experience, and Im happy to see that Best Buy continues to be the awesome store it was when I purchased my first television there 25 years ago.
