Got a great deal on a new fridge through Brothers Main. We previously worked with them on a new stove and had a good experience so decided to work with them again. This time around we ordered the wrong size fridge and Brothers worked hard to get us the size we really wanted with only a few day turn-around. Responded quickly to my calls and questions. Well definitely order another appliance through them.
Ordered new appliances for our house being built and was reassured MULTIPLE times they had ALL of our appliances in the warehouse and ready to be delivered on a specific day.We received our dishwasher and microwave during the building process but the day we informed them that we would be needing the two other appliances (Fridge and Dryer) we were informed they no longer had the appliances in there warehouse. (Sold our inventory to another customer and did not replenish the order)Brothers Main upgraded our fridge and delivered it the same day we originally discussed but we are still waiting on our dryer. We have been told we will get our dryer 1 month after we originally wanted it.Not impressed with Brothers Main Customer Services and hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I am so HAPPY!! I received my new Whirlpool side by side Refrigerator this morning. Both Anthony & Jalen were the finest men as far as delivery. They were fantastic!!We had previously ordered from Ashley in MadisonThey were the worst ever!!They took the $$ and after that it was a horrific experience. They gave us dates of promised deliveryand not once did they follow through. So manyexcuses/downright untruths! Finally said maybe Id get it in 2022.Finally, we canceled our order and requested money back.My daughter called Brothers in Janesville and explained our predicament. In less than 1 week, I got my refrigerator. Very nice and efficient.I am so filled with pure JOY!!My daughter called Brothers and like magic,, I finally got a refrigerator after months of dealing with shley.
The first time we visited the Janesville location, we werent greeted or acknowledged by anyone working there and we almost didnt return. However, because their prices were the best in the area for the item we wanted, we decided to give them a second try. This time, although the salesperson was busy with another customer, we were greeted and told we would be helped shortly. We had our eye on a certain brand of refrigerator, but that one was out of stock. The salesperson informed us that the another one that was in stock, was made by the same manufacturer and was basically the same refrigerator. We also purchased a dishwasher the same day and was supplied with the number of an installer who they recommend and use regularly. We were very happy with the delivery men as well. They found damage on the refrigerator door, addressed the issue with me, and contacted the store where a new door was ordered immediately and will be delivered and installed in a couple of weeks. The only problem with the store is they are understaffed and cannot always sufficiently accommodate the amount of customers entering the store at any given time.
So we went to brothers main to price a washer and dryer set. The sales man that helped us promised us a washer and dryer set that was in stock. It wasn’t quite what we wanted but it was in stock and we only had to wait three weeks for it. So he called the day before delivery and said the dryer was not at the warehouse. And that it would be the end of the month “promise” and now it won’t be here till June. He has made no effort to try and expedite this and when I finally had to call them he just said “it wasn’t their fault “. He made no effort to try and fix the situation. No offer of a discount, nothing ! Very poor business practice and very bad at pleasing a customer they lied to twice. Will never deal with them again.

They did not have the oven advertised as on sale in stock, but discounted aBETTER stove and delivered as promised. Of course we have not had time to use it yet, but the experience was a positive one. Donna is the primary reason everything went so well and the delivery staff was professional and wore masks. They were in and out very fast!

We have bought a washer, dryer and range over the past two months from Brothers Main. Both times, although we had different sales people, we felt we got a good deal on the products. Delivery of products was exactly when the store said they would be delivered. The Delivery people were masked and efficient. Excellent experience.

They reminded me about the delivery and went out of their way to accommodate our time restrictions. Even though we had to wait months to purchase a freezer due to COVID, our salesman Dave remembered us and contacted us promptly with a good, competitive price for one as soon as it was available. Purchased stove, dryer and washer. Washer and dryer were delivered without the stove. Stove was delivered without phone call and I had to rush home to allow them inside. The dryer went out within 3 weeks of using it and the air duct was never placed on it. Several phone calls were made to get the duct placed onto the dryer and no response from the manager that was stated to call me back. The receptionist is incredibly rude every time I have spoke with her. She speaks over the top of you and does not hear what you are actually requesting until you’ve said it at least twice. I had zero issues when I purchased my washer because I did self pick up. Weeks later purchasing my other two appliances I have had NOTHING but trouble. Currently I have to wait at least two weeks for a service center to come fix the dryer I’ve only used for a little longer then that! I am frustrated with the customer service from this company out of Janesville Wi.

I wanted to try to use a smaller local chain, but due to coved they just simply cant carry any inventory or have anything delivered for months. Was forced to use one of the bigger stores -Ill be back to try again in the future
I would not recommend Brothers Main Janesville, WI. They do not stay by their products or have good customer service! We wanted to by local due to usually local retailers/vendors have better customer service and care about their customers. Not true for Brothers Main Janesville. We ordered a Washer and Drier from them.First it was hard to get any updates on the shipment when you called the location. They only referred you to their website. On delivery the drier did not work. They said it was probably our gas line or /and the appliance itself. They recommend calling the manufacturer first. We also had Alliant Energy come out and check the gas line. Which the Gas line was work properly. So we did the manufacturer said that within the first 48 hours it is the responsibility of the retailer to replace or service the appliance. When we called Donna stated that Brothers Main the owner/manager had ‘left for the day’ even though it was the middle of the day. When we went in person to the location the next day the owner, Dennis, lied to our face saying it was the responsibility of the manufacturer to assist us. That the manufacturer should be the one servicing the appliance because it must have been they sent them a bad one. When asked if they had on staff person whom could look at it and service it, the he stated they did not keep someone like that on staff. Then Dennis changed his tune and said all we could do is replace it but we would have to wait for it. We asked when it would come in and he said a week. We asked when their delivery from the manufacturer was and they said Wednesday & Fridays. The next Wednesday I called Donna stated “I don’t know whom told you we got deliveries on Wednesday but we only get them on Fridays.” When I stated it was Dennis the owner she said “well that’s weird he knows better.” So I called back on Friday and they stated it was not in yet. We asked them to call us once it came in which they said they would. Which they didn’t, I had to call them. All interactions with the owner was rude and they didn’t apologize or stand by their products once. Then blamed the manufacturer. Finally our replacement drier came over two weeks to replace. Then when it was installed the installer, who was from their Madison location, stated that the original one was not installed fully properly anyways. They missed the steam setup and didn’t properly hook up the exhaust pipe. Overall our experience with the Janesville Brothers Main was horrible. You are better going to a big box store and buying from them! These people do not stand by their appliances and the customer service is horrible! I would highly would not recommend this location or company!
I found a much different exp. My wife and I were looking for a refrigerator.We entered the store and we were there for 5 to10 minutes no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. Two at a desk up front and two were at a desk in backLeft and still no response. Bought elsewhere.
I looked up what I wanted on the Brothers Main website. The salesperson assured me it was a smaller fridge that was on sale. I insisted it was the one on the floor. He went on the store computer and said it was the smaller one. Look again I said and what do you know? I was right. I love the fridge and am very happy with it. Please do your homework before going in. I also think the sales crew should be a little more professional. Kind of smelled like smoke. Delivery people were awesome and beyond helpful.
Courteous and helpful on explaining what I needed in a washer. Friendly and their delivery service was a couple days later. I would recommend them to anybody. I would go back!!!! Thank you for the great service!!!We had a washer for two years and it went bad, we knew we wanted to get her to speed queen. We did our homework before we went there on the washer, and we learned a little bit more while we was there. They did not force us to get one or the other as far has washers, they let me pick whatever washer I wanted. Were most salesmen will steer you toward a particular item.

Worst experience ever!! Especially wouldnt recommend buying newer models as it seems they werent informed on how to install. Specifically the GE Ultrafresh Vent washer they had to come back to remove the shipping braces as they didnt know those were supposed to come off during install (as stated in manual.) Now my washer has a ticking noise and seems to be off balance each load and is loud and shaky. Customer service has been rude and short with me, even through their faults, and no apologies. Guess I bought warranty for nothing!!! Warning everyone--- also other people have had these delivered with braces still on so many others will be affected!!!
Delivery of my appliances was supposed to be today, called to check on the timing and was told it “didn’t make it on the truck”. Waited all day for a return call and never received one. Very disappointed!
Very good experience. No pressure buying, was allowed to browse with no pushy salesman watching you. They did not have a refrigerator in stock that I wanted, did an internet search, found one, and went even lower than the price quoted to me from another store.
Great experience. Had the appliance in stock. Delivered the very next day. Great price - same as the big box store - but delivery was cheaper by 30$. They installed the new one and took the old one away. No hastle. Will shop with them again in the future.
Brothers main do not repair their appliances. There fore it took me four months to get warranty work done nonmmnnewnwasher.
Stove suppose to be delivered Sep 28 th called said it was going to be the Oct 6th waited ALL day no call no show. Very unhappy. Now told it would be Friday the 9th no specific time given. Oct 9th, driver shows up and was rude and refused delivery due to pet smell. We have pet rats. Asked for refund this company is very unprofessional. Owner blamed Covid I blame a unprofessional company. I bought all my appliance from here since 2008 but not again. Went to another company. 80.00 cheaper and delivery in 3 days.
We always have a great experience here. The people are helpful, and I never feel pressure to buy anything. They are laid back and so friendly. I dont think I can ever shop anywhere else for new appliances. Best place and prices in the Janesville area.
Many items to choose from. Prices are fair. The sell person know their stuff. Handicap parking. Easy in and out of store. You can request the salesperson to wear a mask and they have disinfectant wipes and cleaners on hand.

The sales team was great and very helpful. The follow-up calls were great as well. The delivery team was professional and assisted as best as they can. There were some minor miscommunications with haul away, Balance owed when there wasnt and some minor mishaps with the product I received (scratches or dents). However, the team after follow-up promptly ordered new parts for the delivery folks to come out and make everything brand new again. Great job Brothers Main!

I purchased all new GE kitchen appliances from Brothers Main and would NOT recommend that others do likewise.Within a month,the microwave could not be turned on. Brothers Main doesnt service this, contacting GE by phone is a nightmare and an appointment 3 weeks from now is scheduled for sometime between 8 am to 5 . Had I been informed of this servicing policy, I would have purchased elsewhere

My refrigerator was delivered as promptly and professionally as expected. However they pulled out my old refrigerator too far and broke the water line causing a water leak in the basement. Brothers Main agreed to pay a plumber to fix the line and it was taken care of the same day. I have purchased many appliances from them and will continue to do so in the future. Their customer service is excellent and I dont have to deal with Big Box indifference.

I bought a brand new Samsung Washer & Dryer upon the owner recommending them to us, he even talked us into an extended Warranty for 3 yrs. 3 months after purchase the dryer stopped working, we call Brothers Main and asked them for help, they informed us that it was a manufacter issue. Samsung DID replace the dryer after 2 months of waiting. This was back in January of 2019. Now brings us to present day time, the dryer has developed a stress crack inside the drum, Samsung will not repair and the extended warranty is basically junk. Thanks Brothers Main, I will never purchase another appliance from any of your locations. Honesty, integrity and standing behind the products you sell goes a long way. I hope you change your mentality because eventually customers will go elsewhere as myself will be doing.

I was shopping for a washer and dryer. The sales person did not ask what my budget was and did not ask if I had a specific set in mind. Instead, he tried to steer me to the most expensive set in the store, a Speed Queen, at over $1000 per piece. I felt pressured and like the Whirlpool set that I wanted was so subpar to the Speed Queen.
Decent selection and they do price match, but the sales associate we worked with wasnt the least bit knowledgeable about their products which is extremely disappointing. I ended up having to google all my questions because her answers on a variety of questions were, yeah, Im not sure, Im not sure how to explain it, etc. I came to an APPLIANCE store so I could see product and ask questions...ended up doing all the research myself and buying online elsewhere. Dont shop here if you have questions, youll be disappointed!
I thought Id shop local for a little extra customer service vs the big box stores. Didnt get it before or after the sale. Just go to the big box store and get the better price because the service level is the same if not lower at brothers. Their idea of service is call this appliance repair guy, we cant help you with anything here. Unacceptable.

My husband and I went into the store Memorial day weekend. Our intent was to buy all new kitchen appliances including wall ovens. We went in with our clipboard of notes and measurements. Only to find an extremely messy, unorganized store. We looked around for a few minutes and were not greeted or approached by anyone. We left and spent our 5000 dollar budget elsewhere.

Bought a refrigerator and stove there. Delivery guys left black marks on my kitchen door and on the inside of the refrigerator. the refrigerator drawers squeezed like crazy and the ice maker has failed numerous times even after two service calls. Have told salesman and he sends out serviceman. Problem goes away for awhile then returns. Black marks havent been able to be removed without taking the paint off the door.
Had more than my share of problems with appliance purchase. The wrong voltage with the first appliance- second one was damaged beyond use when i unboxed it at home. Not once was i offered delivery assistance because i lived out of town so i doubt Ill shop there again! If there was a no star available there wouldnt one!
We order a refrigerator, we were okay with waiting ten days for our new refrigerator to come in. They delivered it to us- and the ice and water feature was broke. After asking a few questions we find out that our new refrigerator was the floor model. Perhaps the salesmen was passing it off as newon to us, we will never know. Luckily the delivery guy (who was decent and apologetic) caught the error- of this being the floor model when we paid for new. When asked the salesman offered an insincere apology and gave us grief, when we asked for two water filters for the mistake. Not to mention that we had to wait over a week to actually get a new refrigerator. Maybe the first new one was never ordered. They were gracious enough to let us use the broken refrigerator with no ice or water. To add insult to injury, we were last on the delivery list on a Saturday- the new refrigerator came to our house at 2:50 pm. That is some spectacular customer service. We will be in the market for a new dishwasher in the near future- guess we will try the big box store- as this local purchase was a bust. Hear is a tip- if you treat your customer bad- they will talk about the bad service. The 2:50 pm delivery on a Saturday was the last straw. Thanks, Ed. Hope your weekend was great- we had to wait around all afternoon to get our new refrigerator.

Picked out and paid for all new appliances, promised they would be here in two weeks. Its been 3 weeks now and they still dont have all of the appliances. We are now being told they are backordered and will maybe be in next week. We would not have ordered them if we knew it would be a month to get them. Our new kitchen looks very empty. #sickof therunaround.8-8-18 Its been another week and still waiting for the appliances . Maybe next week. No offers from anyone to make it right. I should have read the honest reviews before ordering and ignored the professional Google Review writers.

Horrible customer service. We bought a Kitchen Aid refrigerator that has issues with the shelves and ice maker. I was told to work on the shelf issue myself when I called on a Saturday. No answer today when I called. We had bought a washer and dryer there previously but will never shop there again.
