Glass Garden is one of the best places in Janesville! Yes its great if you are into stained glass and if you want to learn all about it ... This is the place! She (Judy) has tons of classes for beginners to advance and some that require no knowledge. You can have group parties. Or if you are just looking for a unique gift for someone. This is the place. An all around great place! Love it!

I stopped in here briefly today to scope out how much space there would be for the drinks and snacks my group will be bringing to our private class in about a week and a half. Looks like a nice shop...a glass artists dream, really. If you can get to this shop, I am sure you will have a positive experience. The catch is GETTING THERE, and then finding a place to park. This is located on the WEST side of the river. The block of West Milwaukee At. this place is located on is closed for construction, as is the bridge that crosses the river in the block just before you get to this place if you are coming from the East. There are various parking lots in the vicinity but you have to know where you are going to find them. If you go on a Saturday morning like I did, there is street parking available. But you will have to walk about 2 blocks. My private party will be occurring in the afternoon in the middle of the week. I am not expecting to find parking easily. :-(
