TLDR: They tried to sell me a car that was sold, test drove it and everything, then they called me back to say they knew the person who had bought it and they were willing to sell it still. Unprofessional and very bad management.Whole story: Called Saturday evening to ask about a van, was told they still had it in stock via the website. Asked if I could put a deposit on it and look at it Mon/Tues as I was in Kansas City for the weekend. Was told yes, gave my credit card info. Was then called back 15 minutes later to say the manager was out and they would run the card first thing Monday morning.I called 30 min after they opened Monday to see if they were going to run the card or hold the car for me and they said that the sales rep was busy with a customer and had me leave a message. I get a call back later that the manager was still not in and they are going to just set the van to the side for me.I then communicated via text with them to let them know I was on my way, but it would be a 3-4 hour drive. I got there and test drove the vehicle, was there for two hours, one of which was sitting inside and and waiting.The manager walks up and says the sales representative I was working with didnt realize that the vehicle was sold that morning. Not going to lie, after that I let them know it was a managerial mistake as they never ran my deposit and then left.I get a call 30 minutes later from a different manager letting me know that they knew who the car was sold to and they were sorry for the mistake and they would still sell me the car. Very unprofessional and I will never step foot in that place again. Great sales team though.

Extremely happy with our Camry purchase at Riley Toyota. It was a painless experience that didn’t take all day. John Smith was our salesman and couldn’t ask for a nicer or more courteous person. He was super cool, explained everything clearly and didn’t make me feel like I was being pressured into buying a car (or any additional accessories, etc).The whole team here is pretty awesome, and I felt extremely confident in buying from them. Car shopping is very nerve wracking for me and I spoke to several dealerships prior to going to Riley Toyota. I went to Rileys very discouraged after many negative experiences with the other Toyota dealerships in the area. The buying process here was very straightforward and objective. I appreciate that because Im a very upfront person so the back and forth haggles is frustrating, but I know it comes with the game. The other Toyota dealership I previously dealt with tried to have me put money down with a Toyota credit card which was strange to me. That specific dealership denied me because I would not use their credit card and I didnt have the cash on hand they wanted. Even though they didnt tell me if I was approved for the car they wanted the money first. Coming to Rileys Toyota the salesman, Ricky Old, took my information and came back to me with realistic approval odds and prices. The numbers were fairly accurate and made sense. I am extremely happy with the services I recieved here and the product I purchased.

Rick Six is an honest and above board car salesman, he knows what hes talking about. There wasnt any of that annoying running back and forth to the office about price. Rick knows how to take care of his customers. Kyle Riley was very pleasant to work with and very knowledgeable. Just bought a 2007 Tacoma from the lot, and I want to start off with the good. Kevin Green is the guy you want to help you find the right vehicle. From his test drive route that tests many of the vehicles features, to his no nonsense demeanor - its sales people like this that do a place right. Now for the not so good. I bought from a dealership to have master mechanics look through the vehicle before purchase, something you would ordinarily do yourself when buying private. I trusted Riley, and thought that them putting something on their lot meant it was up to their standards. A day after signing the paperwork, I looked around in the engine bay and removed the radiator overflow cap. To my surprise, the entire radiator moves with it. Two bolts were missing from the top of the radiator allowing it to freely flop around inside the bay. Not to mention, it took about half a gallon of coolant just to get it up to the low line - and yes that is after running it through the system. It really isnt even the fact that these things were caught by me, its the fact that they werent caught by them. It makes me wonder what else I am going to find in the coming months. I would like someone from Riley to reach out and have a tech look over the entire vehicle before I can amend this review, hope to be leaving you five stars in the near future.

These guys are the best whether you are buying a vehicle or getting one serviced. I bought a brand new Toyota Tundra from then 2 years ago. Ive bought a lot of new vehicles in my lifetime (Im an old guy - almost 70). Despite my age Im pretty up to date with technology so I do my research before hand. I left feeling I had the best car buying experience of my life. Their service department is excellent. They service both my Lexus and my Tundra. They communicate with you whether its just to keep you informed of their progress or to let you know when the shuttle is on their way to pick you up and take you back to the dealership. Great place to do business.

I was looking for a Toyota 4runner a few weeks ago and a friend recommended Riley Toyota. Their lifetime warranty on powertrain and their service department are just some of the amenities that Ive heard of. Did some research of their inventory and the inventory that they had access to and discussed my desires for a 4runner. I presented them with a couple selections that I had seen on their website and the sales staff was extremely helpful it locating the perfect vehicle for me. They kept me informed as to when the vehicle would arrive at their location walked me through the financing approval process through their website. On the day I picked up my 4runner, everything went super smooth. Financing process was done in under 10 minutes and salesman Rick walked me through some of the features/technologies on the 4runner. I could not have been more pleased with my purchased. Rick and another individual reached out to me the next day just to follow-up and assure me that they were just a phone call away should I have any questions. I dont buy cars often but I highly recommend this dealership

I previously left a five star review but beware this place is no longer honest with their customers. I have bought many vehicles from Riley. I placed an order for a new 4Runner over a month ago and gave them a $500 deposit. Then the salesman tells me that they changed the policy the day after I placed the deposit and that I am required to have a trade in and I must use their finance department. I am a veteran and almost always use USAA or Navy Federal for my financing. They know this! They waived the requirement to have a trade in but insisted that I use their financing. I said fine as long as they could get me a comparable rate. Their rate exceeded my rate by over one percent. They sent my deposit back and seem happy to end our relationship. I suspect that greed has got the best of this place. Perhaps they found a buyer who would pay way more than what we agreed to. No problem, I went to a Toyota dealer in KC and got a better deal. Karma has a way of making things right especially when treating a former customer and veteran like a p.o.s. Remember, word of mouth is the best advertisement. I will work had to do my part!

I’ve been using Riley Toyota service department for years. Bob in the service department is top notch! They are dependable, honest, and so helpful. I have young kids and they always go out of their way to assist me. They service my vehicle in a timely manner, and I can enjoyably wait in their lobby with a special kid friendly area, free snacks and drinks, and even a spotless restroom. When I had a longer service repair need recently and chose not to use the free shuttle, they gave me a discounted rental car and even helped me clean and switch my car seats. Really amazing customer service!

Riley Toyota usually is a great place to do my automotive matinence. I regularly go there to have the oil changed and tires rotated among other major repairs. I have honestly never had a problem, in ten years of going there and having my 2003 Toyota Tacoma truck serviced there. Tonight was a different story. Showed up at Riley Toyota about 3:45 Friday afternoon on June 15, I needed a oil change and my tires rotated. Normally in the past when going there for just an oil change its a good hour to hour and a half wait there usually pretty busy no big deal I take it there to be serviced because its a Toyota dealer they have experienced mechanics that work on those types of vehicles everyday right? Well today someone didnt know there job. My truck was done in about 50 minutes which I was excited its never been done that fast alright. Its about 5 on a Friday afternoon Im ready to go home. So go pay 64 dollars for an oil change which I brought my own oil(a total of 6 quarts) and a tire rotation. That fine thats y I came to a Toyota dealer to pay a little more to have it done right. So I get in my truck to head home and notice there is a whole quart of oil left in my truck. This is unusual since its takes normally about 5 and 3/4 of a quart to fill it up. So I get out and check it, its over a quart low. Like really a whole quart low whats going on back there in the service department. So take it back in and of course they made it right but damn u guys isnt that what I paid 64 dollars in the beginning for.

My son went in with a letter of guarantee from our bank, NADA info on the trade-in, and NADA info on the truck he wanted to buy. Riley Finance officer got a lower interest rate, even though our bank gave us a special rate. They gave us what we asked for our trade-in, and priced the tacoma within his budget. 2nd vehicle our familys purchased here. Love doing business @ Riley Toyota!

Several months ago I took my Yaris for service and to look into buying a 2nd car. First off they fixed the loud squeal coming from the belt, and gave me an estimate on fixing the problem I came in for. They didnt have the part needed, so I came back. They fixed me up better then new.On buying the 2nd car, I didnt. The reason why was I didnt feel that I could make payments, and due to the repair my money was zapped for a decent down payment. They were understanding and didnt try to push me into a potentially bad situation. Once Im more comfortable with payments Ill return.

This was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had. I drove from Kansas City and everything was ready when I got there. Steve had the vehicle ready to go, swapped my gear out of trade in (in the rain) and gave me run down of new technology and programmed my phone to SUV. Gemma in finance had all the paperwork prepared and even found a lower finance rate for me. Dealership was clean and comfortable and everyone was very friendly. Kevin, the owner took care of me on trade in and called to make sure everything had gone well and offered continued support. We will purchase all cars from Riley in the future

Donnie Mehmert was amazing in helping me purchase a long awaited upgrade to my 98 Camry. Even working at a Toyota dealer, he was able to assist me in driving away in a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. There was no hassle involved, no pushy tactics, or any of the grime you expect dealing with car salesmen. He was polite, courteous, and patient. Even after we signed all the paperwork and I was handed the keys, he went and polished/buffed out a scratch we found. Thats what I call service. My overall purchase of my CRV was ok and loved my salesman Donnie. However, when I realized my SUV bluetooth would not connect to my phone, I immediately contacted them about this and the rattle in the driver side door. It also needed an alignment, but easy fix. I brought it into the shop where they fixed the alignment and informed me I had to take it to Honda for the door rattle and bluetooth issues. Honda gladly fixed the door, they were a bit confused why Toyota could not do it. My bluetooth issue is still not resolved. Had I known this did not work, I would have bought a different SUV. Honda said there may be an update in the future but the vehicle will be out of warranty then and it will be another cost. I went to Riley because of the great reputation, and incredible service offered. Highly disappointed with this situation.

I have had some negative dealer service issues. Riley Toyotas service department feels like I am walking into a place where my family works. I trust them; they dont lie; they dont try to do more work than is necessary. There is a Toyota dealership closer to me, but I will always go to Riley Toyota from now on.

Bought 4 new tires here and a month later one popped. I came back in to get it replaced and they said they couldnt give me any sort of a deal and I would need to pay for a completely new tire at full price. Then they called a Columbia store to see if the tire was in stock. I drove to Columbia to find out they had mentioned the wrong tire and the one I needed has to be specially ordered. What a waste of a trip and poor customer service.
