I love JCPenney during back to school time. They have great deals on hoodies and sweats for my son. I also like their jeans and slacks for my daughter and myself. I can usually throw in a coupon which gets me additional savings which is ideal as I am a single mother of 3. I also shop here on occasion for cute little dresses and sometimes shoes. Ive also been using their portrait studio since my children were infants to keep up with milestone photos.

I love JCP, sad to see store getting cut back in size and staff. Must support JCP!

I bought a shirt and slacks here. Carmen was extremely helpful. She assisted me for over an hour trying to find reduced price items for me. She was very thoughtful and had a knack for style. Im on my way to buy more clothing for work. Thanks Carmen.

If there is a 0 star I would have give it to them. I made an online order then few minutes I notice the wrong size. They stated I have 30 min cancelation period. I could not cancel. I called customer services to cancel within 10 min from my order and they said I cant cancel the order. The asked me to not to pick it up and after 10 days they will return it and refund the money. So, it will take at least 15 days to get my money back. So if you want to order dont think that you can cancel or return easily.

Sales associates here are unpleasant and show no urgency in checking customers out to get them in and out of the store. I asked the sales associate Penny to apply coupon to my purchase but she insisted that the coupon wouldn’t work on the items I was purchasing. She didn’t even try to ring it, but I know for a fact that it would work because I used a similar coupon at another location at an earlier date. Due to me having already stood in line for close to 15 minutes, I didn’t care to argue with her over the coupon I just made my purchase but it will for sure be my last purchase at this JC Penny. I will give it 2 more years before this J.C. Penney is closed down. Online retailers are winning economically. I advise you stores to provide their employees with better customer service training because with online stores consumers do not have to deal with the attitudes of unpleasant sales associates.

Prices are good but sale prices could be better. I can always find something I want.

The JC penney customer service is terrible. I ordered a dress for pick up and they just send me the jacket. I will certainly not shop or order from Penney any longer.This is not the first time it happened

Overall Love the store, more selection of the big and tall merchandise than I have seen at other stores, as long as J.C.Penney never closes this store down I will intend to make this store my 1st for my home-can increase the Chicago White Sox merchandise a little more in the sports apparel department. The clearance rack department selection, keep continuing with that, awesome deals to be found!

Kinda confusing, the hoodies are spread out everywhere and they didnt even have my size (xl cuz Im a tall boi) it was a terrible experience

Not a lot of stock and messy/disorganized.

Bought a dress for my daughter there for my Godsons wedding. The cashier was friendly, professional and polite.

We bought a 10.5 multi-function air fryer. Was told by store manager that the product was brand new. Got home with it and open the box on Christmas day to cook our turkey. The fryer was used and still dirty with disgusting grease and food particles in it. No instructions were in the box. Will be taking this product back and requesting to speak with store manager.

Good sales today in and out customer service was good

Not a very good selection in kids clothes. Tables were almost empty and racks two or three items on them. Still have to ware masks were most places you dont have to. Not enoght people there to have to ware masks.

Went in the other day in search of some little girl sandals and casual dress.. couldnt find anything. Seems as though things/departments changed a bit but a lot of areas looked empty. Not much to say for customer service.

Great shopping trip! Wife quickly found a dress for our event. Store is nicely laid out.The manniquin, however, was fairly troubling.

The sales representative was able to fully explain a selection of options because they did not have exactly what we were seeking. She was very polite, knowledgeable and was patient as we were deciding on what we were purchasing. Overall great experience due to her professionalism.

The Penneys on Orland Square looks like its closing same with the one in Mokena. The one in Joliet mall has a lot of nice things. Very nice store and nice employees.

Conveniently located in the mall. Clean, well lit, friendly staff. Cashier was about to go on break when we went up to the register, but she checked us out anyway. Lots of selection and great sales.

This place has a mini-store called Sephora inside and the staff treat me and my Girlfriend with a lot of patience and respect, very helpful and insightful about thier products.

JCPenny is a typical department store located inside the Lewis Joliet Mall. This store is really nice because it does open before the mall so you can get some shopping in without the typical mall-goer in there. They have some good sales and some decent prices. Some of the employees are kind and some not so much. Doesnt keep me away from shopping there though.

Took a pair of pants back to exchange because hem came down. Elderly lady said theyve been worn. I said of course they have. I had them 3 weeks. But didnt expect to have to pay someone to hem them up after 3 weeks. And they werent wore every day.

Standard JC Penney store with a small Sephora location inside. I visited during coronavirus and social distancing rules were being enforced. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, but overall store cleanliness was good and I felt comfortable shopping during the pandemic.

Great sales going on throughout the store, customer service is very friendly not grumpy the clearance is amazing with prices so low right now shopping is very affordable @ there sanitizer stations are at each register its a must for all.

This store is hit or miss for me, Im 6 5 tall but only weight 200 lbs., so the big and tall section usually caters to people that are heavier and tall. So I was able to find a few shirts that fit, sadly just a few were all that were available. Being that winter is right around the corner, I was hoping theyd have some tall jackets in stock, found out, they havent even put their jackets on display for the mens section. Its September, that doesnt make a whole lot of sense. So end result, if your tall and thin, and dont want to be disappointed in their small selection of clothing that might fit you, I would advise shopping elsewhere.

I like Penneys. They have a wide assortment of merchandise. I hope they remain in business and dont go the way of Carsons and Sears. I like to see things before I buy them. And if I need to return something it is much easier with a brick and mortar store.

I Love JC Penny inside the Luis Joliet Mall more than the other ones inside other Malls, this one particular JC Penny is much better, I was a little disappointed today there were not much of a selection for plus sized women this time around and I usually find an abundance of plus size selection at this particular store.

If you want to get a hair cut from a stylist that wont listen and does a shoddy job, this the place. I came in with mid back length hair and told her very clearly that I wanted shoulder length, only to come out with my hair at least two inches above the shoulder.Im going to need to have someone fix it. And it wont be at this place. Never again.

For reasonably priced quality products and great customer service, JCPenny is unbeatable. Clean orderly stores. Returns are easy and straightforward unlike Kohls and Macys. Keep up the good work and dont get too big for your britches like some stores tend to do. Online ordering is simple and hassle free too.

One of the last few department stores at the mall. Im typically able to find some pretty good deals, especially on kitchen and bedding items. Hope they hang in there and stick around for while.

I bought all the things I needed from one cashier and went to another one to buy something else. This lady was awfully rude and made my experience at the store very poor. She was being very rude to my mother and seemed as if she was pretending to not understand what my mother was saying. My mom is an immigrant and has a light accent but she can be easily understood by normal and nice people. She was a very small lady with long wavy black hair with visible gray strands of hair. Worked at the cashier by the swimsuits.

Was looking for a suit for an upcoming wedding. Was nice that they had a large size section and was able to find one in my size.

Well its a great place to shop, they have beautiful clothes there . If you have the money . Thats the place to shop. But really I wont pay$30 for a top, if you have the money thats the place to go . They do have nice things and the service there they are nice and atmosphere is good .. I go with my daughter she buys clothes for her kids. Its ok if you can afford it ... sorry I tell it as it is.

Good merchandise, but try to find an occupied check out ...and even more fleeting...try to find an employee on the floor to inquire about product . . . No wonder there is so much wonder in the brick and mortar.. . . .

They only carry Levi jeans in avg or short length. Guess they dont want our tall girls business. I was told you. may be able to order from the catalog. I dont buy my jeans without trying them on first.
