Car was in shop for over a month and didn’t offer a rental vehicle for the time being. Brought my car with a full tank of gas, when they gave it back it was an empty. Gave it back with Check engine light on and is still on after four days of having my car back. They also gave it back with some new little friends! Ants!! 🐜🐜🐜

I have a vehicle that had an issue and they diagnosed it as needing an engine. They gave me an option to purchase a new engine or they could rebuild it. I asked how long the rebuild would take and the owner told me “up to a couple months”. I agreed to go the rebuild route. They asked for half of the payment down to order parts so I wrote them a check for $6800 on May 24. It has now been 22 weeks. I finally had to buy another vehicle so my wife would have a means of transportation to get to work. I have made five payments on the vehicle since it has sat on their lot. I keep getting the runaround on when the vehicle will be fixed. Every time I stop and talk to them it’s always next week. It’s like the Groundhog Day movie. Next week never comes comes. I have only spoke to the owner and mechanic four times since my vehicles been there. He keeps avoiding me. All the communication has been through his secretary named Janice. She has told me several times that he will call me and he never does.

I was referred to a few foreign car repair places in the area but this one by far was the best overall. Excellent customer service, affordable and a very seamless process from start to finish. Great, timely communication that worked perfectly with my work schedule. Janice & Johnathan are very friendly so I most certainly will be utilizing German Motorworks should my BMW need any more repairs. HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

I am giving four stars instead of five, because the mechanic I talked to was very nice and professional and really gave me good details. I am taking two stars off due to Janice, the receptionist, who was incredibly rude to me. To sum up a long story, I usually take my car to the other place across town, but they were not able to look at my car anytime soon and I desperately needed my car back. So I decided to have the car looked at here and potentially worked on. I wasn’t aware that the repair was going to be as expensive as it was, and so I realized I couldn’t have the work done after all. I brought the issue up to the other shop across town because I was concerned that perhaps something was overlooked on my car when they worked on it before, so they very kindly offered to give my car another look. Janice, the receptionist, called me and very rudely told me that the tow truck was there but they weren’t taking it until I paid my bill. I did not know I had a bill. Perhaps it was just who I used to see before I had a German car, but I had never had a mechanic actually charge me just to look at the car and see what was wrong. This very well may be common place, I’m just saying that I had not encountered it and I certainly would not have wasted their time and brought my car there had I known that I was going to need to pay over $100 just to have my car looked at. This was not told me upfront. No one told me when I brought my car there but I was going to need to pay that. Had I been told upfront, I would’ve not dropped off my car because I certainly would not waste anyone’s time. So the issue I have is not that they charge a diagnostic fee; it is that they didn’t tell me that this fee existed or what it was when I first brought my car there. The receptionist has no busy being upset at a customer for something that was their responsibility to communicate. I further tried to clarify call me to the woman what the situation was and why I was not too happy, and she continued to be rude and interrupt and ended up hanging up on me completely. This is such a shame, as again, the mechanic I spoke to was very thorough and professional so I trust they do good work here. So I want to make it clear again, my three star review is not for the work that they do here or any of the mechanics. It is the route receptionist, and the fact that nobody told me upfront what a diagnostic fee would even be. That must be communicated the moment a customer brings their car there. It’s not right to get angry at the customer for a cost it was not communicated to them to begin with. Sadly, due to this rude interaction and I professionalism from Janice, I will not be using this business again and I will make sure to tell other people to visit the other German shop in town instead.

Honestly doesn’t feel like I have a car anymore. I took my car up there at the end of March 2021 and had it towed there. I took it here because I had really high hopes for the place and everyone recommended me to go there. As soon as the mechanic saw what was wrong with my car he called me right away. He told me the service, how much it cost, and that it’ll be done in 2 weeks. He was very communicative about the process. Well as months go by I haven’t heard anything from the mechanic, just the receptionist playing telephone and telling me they’re waiting on one part to come in. This part costed about 900$ and they told me it was on them. This part took supposedly 2 1/2 months to show up. Once I heard the part came in they straight up told me they haven’t been working on my car because they had new appointments showing up. Every day I hear nothing about my car unless I call several times to ask about it. Half the time they won’t answer and the receptionist will just text me. It’s been almost 6 months for a service they told me would take 2 weeks to do. Everytime i call it’s a different story. And every week they tell me it’ll be finished but it’s not and then I have to wait another week. I had a mechanic go and see what my car looked like 2 weeks ago and apparently was told that my car was in pieces. I spent almost 3,000$ On the service beforehand because my time is valuable to me and I just wanted the service done as soon as possible. Well after over 300$ In Uber fees and 6 months of waiting my car is still yet to be finished.I personally feel like I’m bothering them. Which I shouldn’t have to feel this way because I was very understanding and patient through the entire process up until now. Plus I already paid for the service. They put my car on the back burner. they won’t give me any information about my car unless I call and ask about it, the mechanic won’t tell me exactly what’s wrong, and half the time they won’t answer me. Not professional at all and I wish I took it somewhere else instead of paying for the service already. Because I really want my money back at this point.

We took our BMW in after being repair at another shop in town. They got us right in and looked everything over and seen some things that were looked over causing our car to still run bad. They called with quote and advised me of everything and even got us back on the road a day early. I am so thankful for Johnathan and the staff at German Motorworks if I could give 20 stars I would.

I have used other specialty German shops in the past and the friendliness and pure professionalism I experienced at German Motorworks can never be beaten. They had my oil leak on BMW fixed within a few days and their facility is top notch!!!

I am new to the Jonesboro area and had car issues, while other shops couldnt see me until next week, the team at German Motorworks were able to get me in for a consultation and order the part needed for my car that same day and put the new part on the next day. Everyone was so professional, friendly, and the price was very reasonable. Such excellent customer service and I could not be any happier with my experience. I drove from NY and had issues with my Mercedes E350. These guys looked it over and determined that I needed a new water pump. They replaced it, but also eventually realized more work was needed. I had to leave by the time it was discovered. Jonathan offered to work with my mechanic once I got home. They worked together and my care is good. I truly appreciated his honesty and integrity. I would highly recommend them for anyone who is wondering.

Was very honest with us through the whole thing.The only shop that was willing to bother with my car. Overall experience is I will definitely bring my car back if there’s any problems for them to fix it because they’re a great shop.They really went the extra mile for us.(this statement was from the first time our car went in) we have been dealing with issues on this car and a very sad excuse of customer service after the initial service visit. They werent thorough with the car and missed a lot of mechanical problems which later put the car in the shop again and again.
