Absolutely will not go anywhere else they are very good people. Always enjoy going in to get our eye exams done. Friendly & professional overall great!
This was a Great experience! They got me in super quick. The doctor was super helpful explaining each step as he went. I have a much better understanding of what is going on with my eyes. They did all the insurance work for me and made it effortless for me. Two thumbs way up!!!

The doctor was and staff were great with me last time I was in, but it seems impossible to get them to answer the phone to setup a appointment. I understandthey are dealing with patients as their voice mail says. Ive been calling for 2 going on 3 hours and still no one has answered the phone.

I have been with Vision Care Consultant for 3 years and have had a great experience up until today. My husband and I arrived at my appointment 10 minutes in advance. I called inside to let them know I was there. They told me the procedure for Covid-19 was to wait in the car and they would call me when it was time to come in... however, I NEVER received a call, text, or email. After waiting 40 minutes I called the office and asked them how much longer my wait would be and the lady who answered the phone said she had called three times and sent four messages... I NEVER received a single message or phone call. I kindly let the lady know I had not received them and she was very sassy with me. She just kept saying she sent them. Which Im sure she did but, I never got a phone call or message. She then told me there was another person in front of me and that I would have to wait until after them and they would call. I waited another 15 minutes and again I never received a call or text so I called the office. The lady said she called twice and sent a message. I again NEVER received anything. I tried to ask her why she didnt try to come outside and get me. She rudely said maam how am I supposed to know what car youre in. It is a valid point but, when I called after the 40 minute wait she should have realized there was a problem and tried to come up with a solution. She never once apologized for my wait. She never once tried to come up with a solution to fix the problem. And, I will admit I was not nearly as gracious as I should have been. I am human and after an hour and fifteen minute wait I was very upset. I was upset that she did not try to help the problem. Whether it was my phone or their system it does not matter. I have worked in customer service before and it should be about trying to help the client. I gave them a two star review because previously they have served my needs very well. Dr. Killough is a great doctor and normally the staff is very kind and helpful. I do understand with Covid-19 that all our worlds are upside down and the new normal has been frustrating for all. I will be using a different clinic this time around but, will consider them in the future. I know everyone has a bad day and I did not handle the situation very well. I do take partial blame.
Me and my husband Roger went for our first time visit with Dr. Killough. It was a great visit!! Dr. Killough and his staff were very friendly and polite. We would highly recommend Dr. Killough to be your optometrist.
I had an eye emergency and was told my the hospital and urgent care that I’d have to wait until I could see an actual eye doctor. I was in extreme pain and discomfort and needed quick attention. Thankfully, the staff at VCC and Dr. Killough got me in and treated in a quick and professional manner on a SATURDAY! I will be forever thankful that this office was open and able to help me at almost 5 PM on the weekend.
On the morning of July 6, I called the office to try and attempt to clear up confusion about an appointment for my elderly aunt and uncle. My aunt called weeks ago to make an appointment and they told her July 3. She followed up with a call the day before to confirm and was told, “call back Monday.” You see, he is 84 and can’t see. He needs a procedure done and that is a known issue. She cannot take him because she cannot drive. She called back and they said, “oh we are so sorry, we cannot see you until August because of CDC guidelines and our booking schedule.”Where is the passion for serving patients in need? This irritated me and I stepped in to try to facilitate a resolution to the matter, perhaps get on a call list for cancelations. My interactions with the person working reception was no more pleasant than that of my elderly Aunt. She offered me nothing but the standard line of CDC guidelines.Now, if you truly CARE about patients, if you truly LOVE your community and what you do, you could have come to some sort of solution. You could have made the CHOICE to help ensure this nearly blind individual sees the doctor he so desperately needed to see since before March. INSTEAD, you chose to hide behind CDC guidelines. You decided to adhere strictly to policy, rather than show COMPASSION during a time of great pain and hurt felt by everyone.Instead of taking care and helping the elderly in need, knowing of their situation and limited mobility, you were selfish and inflexible and generally ugly thru the smiling sweet voice on the other end of the phone. Honestly, your tone of voice through it all was my best compliment for you. I hope that you all have a nice day. I hope your customers get better and more compassionate care than you extended to me and my family during our own trying and difficult time. And keep smiling thru the phone, at least we can hear that.
