This truck stop was really nice. Suoer clean bathrooms, lots of snacks and drinks to choose from, great Pizza, and good service. Lots of parking too. They even had a Cinnabon there!

This place is nicer than other Flying Js. Arrived here at 9 pm and still found parking spot and there was still a lot of free open parking. There restrooms are clean, showers were clean and always have fresh food.

This is a good place to park overnight, plenty of room for parking, they have all the amenities that you would possibly need, the showers were smaller, the food looked fresh, they have bean to cup coffee, and what makes this place get the outstanding review from me is even though they were out of sugar they filled up some coffee cups with sugar to accommodate their coffee loving customers 👍 KUDOS to this Flying J & their Management. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We frequently stop at this Flying J as well travel multiple state frequently, the staff is super polite. It is well stocked with snacks and drinks for road tripping. The toilet paper is always well stocked and the soap smells nice. Great place to stop in Joplin.

My favorite truck stop in the Joplin area. The interior of the facility is always clean: the showers, bathrooms and main store. My favorite thing is that everyone on the night shift is always super nice and doesnt act bothered when you talk to them like other stops in the area. Whether Im traveling to I-49 or going towards I-69, I constantly go out of my way to make sure I hit this specific location since its in the middle of those two main highways on 44. Quick to rack up points for the commercial drivers and have a little in store snack money!

We always stay and car camp there for a few days the employees are great its a nice quiet spot and my dogs enjoy being able to stretch their legs..the only thing keeping them from 5 stars is the rude disrespectful travelers who have no business approaching our car and putting their hands in the window and messing with my dogs..also said travelers turned their music up so loud late into the night we and our dogs couldnt get any sleep ..when it was mentioned to customer service we got a blank look and a who cares..we will be back but not for a while

The food was great, so was the 1 waitress that came across the dining area to serve is, after our original waitress forgot we were even there.She made everything a wonderful experience, so happy we got her instead of the other lady.

I’ve been to some good Flying J locations and some bad... some really bad(I’m looking at you Kansas City),but this location is near perfect.Big, 12 showers,nice lounge, and clean.But what really stood out was the staff, especially Robin.Helpful.Polite.And damn friendly.She deserves employee of the year.

Always way to crowded and only one register open everytime Ive been inside. They take care of truckers and regular customers all the time so you would think they would have more registers open. The ATM is never working. Rude employees..

Millions of drivers spend billions on fuel daily at these truck stock stops and as always they STILL find ways to greedily price gouge truckers. Eight dollars for a little four ounce bottle of laundry soap. This is NOT driver appreciation.

We stayed for one1/2 days waiting for a load going to Florida in a large and busy parking lot, food are not a problem theres a lots of selection.Clean restroom and surrounding most of the time except a pro-td is the one who makes a mess.😣😞Some times is hard to accept but Ive seen it with my own eyes a PRO-TD,act like small kid forgot where the trash is 🤨And by the way beware of ( solicitation)woman knocking asking for money exchange of cleaning the truck?? Huh!!

Half of the spots are reserved, far more than most pilots. Theres a big apple truck stop 2 miles up the road. Just go there!

I love getting movies from there and always a great place to go to restroom not always completely clean but they do do that. When they can. Not happy with 1 guy who works there hes tall but very mean.

Dirtiest Flying J I go to. Trash is never picked up. Pumps look like they are never sprayed down or cleaned. Mens bathroom is always drenched with water and floors have never had a scrubber over them. No soap or pumice soap in mens bathroom. The employees presentation is a direct reflection of how bad the whole place looks. Something is always broke or out of order.

First order of business, very clean and well stocked bathrooms. The staff is friendly. And I was just surprised to have eaten the best potato soup I have ever had. It was in an unassuming soup bar in the middle of the store but delicious

I can’t remember what exactly was the reason we stopped at this Flying J Travel Center & I’m pretty sure giving a review about this place without any knowledge of what we did, what we came for or what we experienced there wouldn’t definitely be fair. Let’s just leave it at that & maybe the next time I stop by this Flying J I’ll be able to give you guys a more accurate picture in general of this travel center.

Kiosk saves drivers time and when out of paper it is an inconvenience. When I asked cashier he said he knows and no one knows how to change it. Long line to get a receipt printed.

Great place for RVers, plenty of room for gas RVs. Lots and lots of food and snacks. Clean comfortable store too.

The food at Dennys was very good. The tables were clean. Service was friendly. However, only one person covered the entire restaurant (after1pm) so it took a while for her to get to us to take our order. When she brought out our food, we heard her offer jelly for my toast, but not ketchup or mustard. We couldnt get her attention after that. No offer to refill coffee or the iced tea. Good food, clean and friendly but slow and poor service.

One of the nicest stops on the road. Super big, super clean. The parking lot leaves something to be desired. It’s a quick in and out type of place. It’s also a come in and take a 30 type of place. This place is amazingly clean. The employees are 100% nice. Showers are great and they are clean. Both bathrooms are clean. Quick grab and go food is good. Lines move fast.

The showers have mold, the air vents in the exhaust in the shower number 2 completely clogged with dust toilet seat is broken another mans pubic hair all over the toilet seat no trash can liner and stained towels and the shower curtain has soap scum and God knows what else all over. The only thing I can say good about this place was the service at Dennys

Pretty nice flying J! The staff was really friendly and helpful with the couple of questions I had! Also the place was fairly clean and looked well kept! The rest rooms were even clean and in order!

Not a bad stop, but been in better. Had about four fuel islands shut down when I was there. Pretty good size parking lot, but its pretty tight parking. Three of the four coffee pots were empty when I was trying to fill my thermos. Bathroom needed some attention. There is a Blue Beacon truck wash next door and a KW dealership just down the road. Been in better, just needed some attention to a few things

Very disappointed. Husband is a truck driver and we are at a lot of truck stops. Pilot/Flying J are his preferred stop as the cleanliness and food is usually far superior to everyone else. We have been here for almost 6 hrs and no one has cleaned the ladies room, even after I mentioned twice to an associate that it needs attention. Also had an undercooked chicken sandwich, which was replaced with no fuss, thats where the 2 stars came in.

They had a few problems with their showers this morning but they were awesome & accommodated us to the best of their ability.Thank you all so much!One of my favorite truck stops5 stars for sure!!

Flying J is a great place to stop,they have friendly cashiers they have a big choice of snacks and other items that a person that is traveling might need in a hurry,hot foods,hot drinks or cold drinks and cold food that can be heated up in the microwave,the restrooms are clean and well marked so if you need it in a hurry you know its there. the parking area is large enough for semis and they have a grass for you to walk your dog around in my case 2 new puppies.

They have got a genuine cinnabon kiosk, that alone merits 3 stars, they have showers for truckers and a diner as well, you can get just about anything and everything from flying j. The staff are normally knowledgeable, not the most courteous and not the most prompt. But they are retail employees working at a truck-stop I dont know really what youre expecting at this point, its right on the hub to go north south east or west so its a perfect spot to get gas... If you dont expect too much and wont be let down...

It’s a great place to stop while traveling or just passing by. Gas is usually a little less here they have a good sized convenience store along with a Denney’s restaurant.

Diesel pumps operate at about 10gpm and half are out of service entirely. Unacceptable for a national truck stop chain

I had to pull in here for a quick snack and a short rest during a bad downpour while on a very long drive. Although parking was tight due to local traffic (understandable, it is one of the biggest stores within a couple miles for locals), I was able to find a spot and rest for an hour after buying some snacks. The nice woman helping me was cheerful and fast, and made me smile. Although I didnt use them, they had a wireless service on site, a Dennys, and a barber. Great spot to stop when traveling!

Very nice, clean inside and outdoors. Had a great breakfast in Dennys with Tabitha as our very friendly and quick waitress who kept the tasty coffee coming. Paid up, grabbed a couple drinks for the road including a free coffee (thank you Natasha) and the drivers freebie of the day. Good start to our day 🚛 ☮️

Ive been to this Flying J before only to fill-up... today I got the chance to shutdown here. The shower pressure is excellent I just didnt like that they are so small. Well, at least the one I was in it probably is the same size as the inside of my truck.🤔

If this is the best you, as a TRUCK STOP can do, than dont offer food! What a slap in the face to every truck driver fueling and attempting to eat at this location. Forget the dried up, burnt green beans, and the fact this is what they consider a ROAST BEEF dinner, it is barely above refrigerator temperature. Maybe a call to the Health Dept will remind them what food temperature to serve is supposed to be. I guess dog food doesnt have to be served at spec temps.

Used the truck parking here. It’s pretty tight parking but if it’s full there is another pilot right around the corner. Lots of amenities for the professional driver. Gave four stars because truck parking could be a little better. Employees are friendly and helpful as with most Pilots.

Trailer bolt seal was cut when I parked overnight at this location. I called the police and they appeared very quickly.Apart from that, the parking is very tight. The staff are professional and very helpful. The shower was nice. It’s a good place to take a break.Check your seals and if you see something, say something.

I love that you can buy all kinds of weird stuff here. I bought a couple of Mexican style blankets (great for yoga) for super cheap. Its a trip just to look around.

You have to try the Womens restroom! Wow! Talk about pampering every lady or girl who uses the restroom there. You just have to go there and see it for yourself!

We travel I-49 multiple time a year. This is about the time I need to stop for a break from traveling. Weve stopped here for years, almost since it was built. This place continues to have a dirty feel to it. We expected that since the damage from the tornado a few years ago it would be cleaned up. No, it quickly went back to feeling dirty. The straw that convinced me to never go back is when they put a hold of $100 on my credit card for a gas purchase. I know that charge eventually goes away, but most places only make sure you have $1 to purchase gas, not $100. And when I say most, I mean Ive never been to a gas station that does this. There is a brand new gas station right down south of this on I-49 that will be getting my business in the future.

I was stuck here for 3 days during Christmas. The staff was great. I appreciate their kindness

Fantastic showers. Always clean, good to fantastic pressure, depending on shower. The Dennys is also above par, never had a wrong order there and the service is fantastic. This is also where I bought my new phone and switched to Verizon. Fairly happy with the service so far.

A busy truck stop with friendly staff and lots of services in addition to a Dennys restaurant on-site. Coffee and a hot case with a good variety of foods plus hot soups start your choices, plenty of cold drinks and a multitude of shelf snacks follow. Laundry area, clean showers and a TV room with available seating at all hours, are a few of the extras offered. Plenty of room to park your big-rig, if you need some rest, is another attraction. Verizon staff are usually available with special offers for service, but dont seem to pressure you if you decline. The friendly people who work here make this a great place to gas up, park and rest, get something to eat, do laundry, have a shower and do a little shopping. My only suggestion for improvement would be to increase the area of womens apparel.

Best price in the area for regular gas, but dont trust me see it on Gasbuddy for yourself. Room to get in to with a large RV and toad. Easy to get off freeways to get to.

Overcharged for my drink. When I asked, the female cashier was adamant that she was right. So I snapped a photo and the male cashier was apologetic and refunded the difference and then some.

You wont believe how much stuff they have for sale...all kinds of things you would have zero idea would be for sale at a truck stop. Its really fun to look around. You never know what you will find.

Very clean truck stop, always friendly staff and will help you if you ask. They ALWAYS have cheap has while everyone is jacking their prices up ridiculously they always keep theirs in reason. They also have a Dennys restaurant inside, and they always are packed so the food must be great!! And most of all the MOST IMPORTANT THING IS.... The place is always super clean even their bathrooms! Its nice to go to the bathroom in a public place and not sit on someone elses nasty pee drips!!! Never have to worry about that there!!

Very nice, large, clean facility. Tons of different hot food items right up by the register. There is a Dennys here that is nice as well. Firework stand across the street. Blue beacon, speedlube, and Goodyear all together there with it. Fantastic place to stop on I 44 or 71.

Nice place the parking area is a bit tight when full and the store was decent. Only reason I gave 3 stars was from checking in at night the lady was more concerned helping another customer after I was already being helped for my reserved parking... Spent 10 hours on the road just wanted to get my space so I could end my night not wait for someone else to be helped that came up after me first.

Easy in easy out. Clean well staffed. Not bad place to stop if you dont mind falling over locals thinking its a convenience store. Has barber and Verizon store available.

Decent parking area. Staff is okay. Hot foods ok. Showers are very small but usable. Not a bad place to stop. Seen worse.

It was very cold yet they had wiper fluid in their window wash basins that want frozen. Really appreciated that because the road film from the big trucks was terrible. Thank you Flying J for being so considerate.

This place is always busy. The employees work hard in the convenience store section. It is hard to keep up with the traffic. The people that work there seem to try hard to, be good to them. There was one man behind the counter that seemed to be working harder and more on top of things. The Cimmabon counter is nice. We were looking at the cinnamon rolls and the man behind the store counter appeared out of no where he was great! Superman made our day when he was so busy. Thank you, Sir!

This J has a barber. 3 washers and 6 (?) dryers. A blue beacon next door and a MHC Kenworth right down the road! Not to mention a Verizon inside that will update your GPS! Add the Dennys restaurant and it all made for a very good stop in Joplin!

I am writing this review to help me remember that this location is on my skip list because the max that I can withdraw at this locations ATM is $200.Go to the locations that have a $500 max with the same fee.

Bathrooms were NASTY!! The floor throughout the whole store was gross. In a way the atmosphere felt a bit ran down. In my opinion They need to get a few more registers installed, the lines were up to 7+ deep.... They had to open up the little Cinnabon register....

This place is huge. Been coming here for several years now. Havent been disappointed yet and always have plenty of parking, even at 3AM. The showers have been clean, the store clean, people polite, and the fuel islands with what you need. Good stop.

This place is awesome! I just wish there was cameras out back in the truck parking lot so that way if a driver hits another drivers truck the police and the driver of the truck that was hit could get the video clip to have more proof of it.

The employees were so friendly and helpful to this weary traveller who needed fuses and a bulb for my car. While one of the employees were looking up part numbers on their cell phone, the other one was reassuring me that everything was going to be an easy fix. Clean bathrooms too!

Dennys food was ok service was respectful, store was clean staff were nice. At 5:30 am entered shower room 6, tho fresh towels on counter, the last guys diry towels where hanging on the door, curly q pubic hairs on toilet seat and floor, and in the corner near the shower looks to be some guys baby batter left for the next unlucky chap. Oh thank you shower shoes and Lysol.. not sure if these clean towels were even washed, lysol to the rescue. Thanks for the great experience.

Been here a few times, truck parking in tight when its full but it does it job. Clean inside, I have never showered here but staff area great. I had thus lady come up to my truck with this sob story of being stranded with little gas asking for help. I was gonna put $10 in a pump for get but asked Dave if he recognized her. He said I know exactly who your talking about shes here a few times a month. When he walked out to tell her to leave she hauled azz out of there. He said it was real nice of you to help a stranger but shes a regular that I have ran off several times. 4 Stars just because the truck parking can be a mess but great stop.Thanks Dave.

This stop has a Cinnabon and a Dannys! Great Cobb salad and Apple crisp from Dannys! At first glance from highway you dont see Flying J. Just a Beacon sign. Going North, a bigger sign close to Hwy would be helpful for most who arent familiar..

We frequently meet people here if buying or selling something off of Craigslist as it is a great location just off of two major highways and is well lit. Their restrooms are usually clean, and the Dennys makes it a good place grab something to eat as well. We have also used their Western Union services, and purchase most of our gas here too. The employees are friendly and courteous, and once when we had car problems an employee there definitely went out of his way to help us.

Thanks for all staff of this Travel Center. We forgot purse with documents. They returned our purse in safe.

50 passengers on our motor coach were able to use the bathroom facilities and grab something to eat in under 20 minutes. Worked out great.

What happened to the showers? This gas station use to have always available showers but now there is a huge line.

If they dont have what you need, you may need to rethink your idea of need. Lots of snacks, drinks, and products to choose from. Friendly staff and clean restrooms. Dennys is attached and everyone there is so sweet. Perfect for gas, snacks, or a 2am breakfast craving.
