Good, honest, and fair people. Went in today with a fake ring a scammer sold me at the casino. Although I knew there was a good possibility I had been played, and bought the ring mostly to be nice, I was still somewhat disappointed that it was fake. But the owners were very friendly, and we all had a good laugh about it. Then they bought an old broken necklace that I had laying around and even gave me more than I told him I expected to get. I read reviews for all the local pawn shops in the area before choosing Pawn & Purchase, and I was glad that all of their good reviews were accurate. I dont visit pawn shops often, but I definitely recommend to others and I will visit again if Im in the area.

I do my transfers here and always been treated well. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I can give an example of prices. I scoured the internet for the best price, then made my purchase. I used Joplin Pawn and Purchase for the transfer. When I went to pick it up, they had the same item cheaper than I could buy it on line and without the transfer fee. I call them now before any purchases to see if they have one.

I have purchased with this pawn shop many years. By far they are my favorite. They always give me friendly service and a great deal. I find them to be a great place for business transactions. After being told by a rival pawn shop that there werent ANY more in the area, finding this store and couple who run it was a treat. They were kind, and offered fairly for the item I sold. After the awful treatment Id already been given, this place and these people were a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend them, and their open honesty and friendliness will make you go back again and again!

My first firearm purchase in decades. These folks were thorough professionals. They asked the right questions to find what I needed and showed me what would work for me. The guy that owns this place is a very kind man. A lot of places around here have a bad rep for being crooks, extremely rude and have an overall lack of care of people. Not this guy. Anytime my husband and I have ever fallen on hard times and were in need of money he was always extremely respectful and helpful. Your stuff comes back to you in the exact same condition unlike some others. Mark was super nice. Found a carpet cleaner online and asked if he would ship it to me. He agreed with no hesitation, very prompt and kept me updated on when he was shipping, costs, etc. Very professional.

These people are very rude. Theyll offer you much lower than what the product is worth, tell you to go shop around to get better offers and tell you to come back and if you cant find other offers, they say theyll raise the price. Well, I took my item to get other offers and come back and they say they dont even want it now. Theyll rip you off!!!!! Just like all pawn shops in crappy little Joplin.

First and Foremost. Look at the Name of the Writer. A Google user is probably an affiliate of the Company trying to outweigh the Negativity. My name is Attached, Meaning my statements are real. I will be careful not to slander and be sued. However, I have rated them using the available rating system here on Google, Which speaks volumes. I first thought when I went in that the guy was nice. He said he knew little about my item a Camera that I bought for about Five hundred dollars less than three months prior. and I had the receipt. So he had to call his BOSS ahemm... I was offered FIVE DOLLARS for a loan..... Needles to say, it cost more in Gas to drive there than they offered. I felt very Insulted, because I was, I would literately throw my item in the garbage before I let them make a NICKLE off of me. My OPINION IS very poor of their practice, I believe the phone call was a PLOY, I worked for a company that did the exact same thing, although I dont know for sure, I do have some experience in how to devalue an item from a potential seller. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THEM AS A FIRST CHOICE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Bought movies buy 5 get 1 free or 3 each. Guy said he would make me a deal. We picked 9. Woman said 30. We said no. Deal for 25. We still paid 1 too much. Many others with better prices that want your business. Our first and last shopping trip there.

I went in to sell 500 dollars worth of snap-on tools. Never been open. They tried to low ball me with 150 dollars saying they see them on ebay for 75 dollars eaxh in the box. I looked it up before I went in. Those tools arent in the wrapper. Mine are brand new, never been used. Total rip off.

These guys are the most judgmental people i have ever met and its funny because the owner is EXTREMELY OVERWEIGHT and he thinks he can judge people? I have seen them straight up ignore people or be rude to them simply because they are black or tattooed. This is the last place you want to pawn anything, also these guys know nothing about guns
