Whether its getting new cable/internet or phone services, Ive always had great customer service, but GCI Policies are wrong. Dedicated IP addresses are no longer offered to regular customers, only businesses. The store hours are decidedly unfriendly... not being available at least one day on the weekend is unacceptable.

How can a retail store be CLOSED ON THE WEEKEND? Its only the MOST CONVENIENT TIME FOR CUSTOMERS. Maybe your customer service department didnt get finish the class on HOW TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Internet and cable are both unreliable. Issues with both are frequent. Internet is expensive with small data caps. Even before meeting data caps, internet is unreliable with speeds rarely reaching those paid for.

If you want the best internet in town you have to get gci. Which means overpaying and dealing with the worst customer support. I am currently without any internet after days of it cutting out basically every 10 minutes requiring another 20 trying to fix it. Now it won’t work whatsoever and there has been no communication or help from gci.This is also after I just UPGRADED to try to get faster speeds and NO CUT OUTS. Thanks gci.Update: we had a worker from gci come and “fix the problem,” so he replaced a single cord and said it should be working. Guess what, it didn’t do a thing. I expect better from a company Alaskans depend on especially in times of need. This is not how you run a company gci.

If you want a company that does bait and switch on their customers, GCI is a great way to go! They upped my cable plan to the most expensive one without my knowledge or consent. They they keep saying as if they are helping me but they dont give me any credit for their overcharges nor do they even apologize

Sometimes it can be a bit of a wait, but theyre very polite,& nice,& patient,& they try to help you in anyway they can. Theyre (usually) very eager to please you. They even have chairs you can sit down in,& wait,& when they call your name, you go up,& get your business done. They do cable, cell phones,& many other things. And theyre very friendly too. ☺😁😊😉

Gladly.its now 6 days without a phone.spent from 830am to still goi ng to get a Landline fixed.the 2 broken cells would take a page.i cant even call911.THE phone has had a busy Signal for 6 days.not even by e mail will gci get back to you.ThIsIs THE WORST COMPANY TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH,PERIOD.IF ANYONE ELSE RAN A BUSINESS .LIKE THIS WOULDNT BE AROUND. GCI is actually the best place to go if you live in Juneau, although they do have the market cornered and the price of a phone there is ridiculous, and I might add that all of their phones are locked specifically for GCI, you want my advice buy an unlocked phone from Amazon.

I now have dish network and only pay 100 dollars for 1000 channels thank you dish networking also went to ACS and saved lots with unlimited internet I wont ever go back to GCI.

GCI is a corporate monster. Just like all the TOS on all the apps you have to agree to, you cant live with em, you cant live without em. But this store is easy to get to and the staff have always been courteous and helpful.
