Staff was helpful, but Im disappointed that they lied to me to close a sale. I was told that because of a special today the pro card was only 7 dollars, not that if I paid full price it would give me a larger trade in essentially making it 7$ I ended up coming out of pocket for a purchase that would have been covered in full had they not lied to sell their terrible rewards program. Starting to understand why this place is going out of business. I havent had pro in a few years because its no longer worth it. The ONLY reason I accepted is because the additional money from the trade in was supposed to cover the cost of prompt cut it in half. At least thats what was portrayed by the staff. They had 0 interest in remedying the situation just continued to reiterate the same nonsense over and over again.

Very uncomfortable environment.. Employee working the counter (who happened to be wearing a ghostbusters costume?) seemed to be aggravated me and my girlfriend were looking through the wall of pop collectibles. We were not looking for one in particular. After asking us if we wanted one in particular, I asked if he could let me know which ones he had in stock. He proceeded to tell me that that wasn’t possible. (My local GameStop does this for me every time I ask) after asking us two more times if we wanted one in particular, and we said no, he shrugged, murmured something under his breath, and nodded his head as he walked away. We left immediately. Also, before he came to us, he was talking to a customer about how he was annoyed by a previous customer who didn’t like a game, and proceeded to belittle said previous customer assuming they did not “understand it”

Servers have great knowledge of the games and they have away wide variety of games

Normally, Im not a review writer unless I think a place is real bad or real good. But I just want to write this one to say shout out to the 5 employees/customers that looked at me through the window 4 minutes after closing and wouldn’t let me in to buy the games I wanted. This will likely go un noticed but, it’s the exact reason that retail is dying and all those people will eventually lose their jobs lol. Y’all lost a big impulse sale and amazon got it.

If an employee stops you at the door telling you to go to Wal-Mart and get presents for 1 year old, Stay! GameStop is an excellent easy in and out place to pick up kid gifts on a Saturday.

Horrible service. Turned me away at 8:50 becuase they said it takes 15 minutes to do a trade in. Worst game stop service I have ever had, and I was an elite pro member before they took it away, you have to spend a lot of money to be able to become and elite pro member. The short girl with glasses is great but the others, not so much. 2 stars because that girl is always nice and friendly.bbg

It is amazing it gives you games you want when you want. If they dont have it, they let you down gently, but they most likely have it.
